Broken Promises, No Regrets [Stella/Natsumi]

Stella shook her head as she didn't want to bring down the mood or confuse her friend. Leaning back into the couch she found her eyes following to Natsumi as she spoke out to the other woman. Wondering how long ago it was she spoke to other people about arancar. Stella wasn't too sure, but she wouldn't ask. .

"Theres nothing else you can do. Thank you for being willing to meet her atleast. It means alot to me."

She spoke gently as she didn't want to come off as unappreciative. She knew that the girl in front of her could probably be pretty hateful when she wanted, but Stella did want to change the subject.

"When you said you may have acted different if you knew I was into other women. Does that mean you're like that too?"

She spoke as she was curious now. Maybe there was a world where Natsumi could meet someone special and hit if off. She wasn't sure if that was in the cards for her younger sister figure, but she didn't think it would hurt to ask.

Stella shook her head in disagreement. Natsumi was one of the sweetest people she's ever met. As she listened to the woman she would pause the TV herself before it goes back on. She didn't like that Natsumi was being negative about herself. It was something that she used to do commonly, but she has been stopped. She also didn't know if she was anyone's type until she met Veralia.

"Natsumi, you're just as pretty as I am. Also I can say without a doubt, that you will be someone's type. There's tons and tons of people out there. Also what's not to like about ya? You're fun, pretty, funny, and you can cook. You keep the promises you make. The complete package."

Stella found herself being caught off guard by the foul language that Natsumi was throwing. It was something that she didn't find normal coming from her little sister figure. Listening to her speak, Stella's heart dropped as she admitted to breaking the promise. Even if she had her fingers cross, Stella found herself worried for her sister. Hearing that Natsumi had left her in a worse condition than what Natsumi was in was a blessing. Stella felt less scared for the girl now.

"I....I wish you didn't, but I appreciate you wanting to take revenge for me okay? I'm not gonna be mad at you or anything."

Stella spoke as her voice was a little weak. She had felt her stomach flip when she had found out Natsumi had put herself in harms way to avenge her. So, to calm Natsumis apparent discomfort the red head would wrap her arms around her sister and kept her into a tight hug.

"I'm glad you're safe, Natsumi."

"See Natsumi, you absolutely have something to offer anyone you would be a partner with. Not everyone is willing to go and put their life on the line for something like that. You're special, and I'm glad that I've met you. One of the best roommates a person can ask for."

She spoke to her friend as she tried to make her feel better about herself. Stella could tell that they were similar in not giving themselves enough credit. Stella know from her interactions with other people that she's cared for more than she feels somethings. She kept Natsumi wrapped in the hug as she gently began to let go. Leaning back into the couch with a small smile.

"Alright, you can pick us something to watch. We should spend some time hanging out before I get sent out on another mission. It's hard to tell where I'll be going next, okay?"
