Stella would nod as she kept her head in the shoulder of Natasha. there was nothing that she felt like she could do. She felt utterly useless to even be in this apartment with these people. Stella didn't know where she belonged in this world anymore.

"I...is there anything we could do? To help me get my mind clear? I don't have any ideas, nat."

NATASHA MILLER | HUMANITY'S STRONGEST SOLDIER

"We can go outside my backyard and look at the stars. Might not help too much, I reckon, but hey, you'll have a wise ol' lady to help ya navigate whatever's goin' on in yer head, sugar."

Rising from the couch, holding Stella against her shoulder, she motioned for them to go outside and sit down. Let her relax in the cool breeze and soak in her surroundings. She didn't have any particular advice offhand, but she knew how much it hurt to lose others from experience. Perhaps she could draw on that to aid her beloved amigo in her darkest hour.

Stella walked outside with Natasha as she found herself looking up at the sky. Not a cloud in the sky, but unfortunately alot of light pollution from the city. If they were back in Stella's village, they would be greeted with a beautiful sight of the milky way amongst the stars. Taking a breath Stella enjoyed the cold air as d
she felt her tears beginning to dry up. She was slowly feeling back to normal.

"N....Natasha, I need to get stronger. I never want anything to be able to hurt people I care about anymore."

She spoke with resolve, but her voice was still hoarse from the crying. As she took in the cool air feeling on her body as she thought about what's happening. She just needed to get stronger, simple as that.

NATASHA MILLER | HUMANITY'S STRONGEST SOLDIER

"That goes without sayin', but let me hit ya with a different point of view..."

Natasha would settle against a rocking chair, admiring the blindingly bright view of light dancing across moonlit skies. It had, to some degree, always been a firm departure from the traditional view of the moon and stars that always graced her vision in her hometown, but she'd grown used to it by now. It felt almost magical. A soft hand reached over to run warm digits over Stella's soft hair. With a reassuring smile, she gazed down at her crimson-haired amigo.

"Acknowledgin' that ya gotta grow strong is one thing. Recognizin' that ya oughta go at it with friends and loved ones is another. Don't ever feel like ya gotta go at things alone. Train with others. Take your time. Don't force things. It'll take time for this to pass, and yer damn well allowed to grieve and reflect on what was lost, but don't go rushin' to yer death. I care about ya. We all do."

Stella nodded as she enjoyed her hair being stroked. Natasha really did remind her so much of her mother. Frankly, Stella was surprised that Natasha hadn't had any kids at all yet. Stella wondered if there was a reason for that, or if she just didn't want kids. Stella thought as she enjoyed the company. Sighing more contnetly than she has in days as she looked up to the blonde.

"You're right..I'm just scared to see any of you get hurt."

NATASHA MILLER | HUMANITY'S STRONGEST SOLDIER

"Don't you worry yer precious little heart about any of that, sweetheart."

At the moment, Natasha simply figured the best course of action lay in consoling her. She didn't need to worry about that. After all, Stella oughta realize one thing here. She didn't have to approach this alone moving forward. Natasha would ensure no further harm came to her or anyone else that bastard planned on hurting. For now, she needed to be here. Ruffling her hair with a playful grin, she assured her with confident words.

"After all, this family that yer part of now is pretty strong. Best believe we ain't gonna let her waltz in and take all of us, least of all me. Mama bear looks out for her cubs. Never forget that."

Stella allowed herself to relax into the hug as she felt protected from Natasha. She knew that the green haired demon wouldn't be able to beat Natasha, or at the very least it would be a long time before she was able to pose a threat to the blonde. So, that also gave Stella time to get stronger, so that she may make sure that it doesn't happen anyway. Her mother and family were also safe for now as her mother was also very strong. She just didn't want to worry them about it. She wished that she was strong enough to have won, but at the end of the day. What happened happened. There was nothing that she could do to change what had happened in the past. So, she just looked stayed laying on her shoulder.

"Natasha, thank you. You guys are some of the best things that have happened to me since I came to this city."

She spoke genuinely. There was nothing else that she thought was better than her missing the other two. She just wanted to make sure that they knew how much they actually meant to her. They were her family away from home, and there wasn't anyone she didn't get along with that she has met in the city. Everyone she has met have been pretty friendly to her.
