» Appearance Description:

Mary is a very young girl so her actual body stature and build is not that impressive. She's thin but healthy and her skin feels smooth and pure as though she really looks after it. Mary stands at about 4'10 making her very small compared to most people she is likely to meet. Because she is so small, she has many advantages over people that try to chase her as she can fit into small nooks and crannies adults could not get into. This also makes her a decent hide and seek player.

Mary has very long blonde hair in a regal fashion as though she comes from a rich background. It is well looked after and washed every day to create a golden glow that shows just how much she cares for her appearance. Her eyes are a sapphire blue like blue pearls in the light that reflect the ocean. Her face is small and adorable with no sign of anger or fear anywhere. She is a pure little girl.

She will often wear her famed green dress with the blue ribbon and white cuffs. This dress is known throughout her family as the female smart dress code. A collar is visible around her neck of the same beige colour as her cuffs. Around the rim of the dress are two striped lines that run side by side in a perfect circle.

Mary wears thigh length tights, black in colour to keep her legs from being visible. She also wears school shoes, black with Velcro straps across them. Everything looks well looked after.

» Personality:

Mary is a very kind and caring person. She treasures people she meets as a new addition to her life every single day. She will often donate to charity, help stray animals find a home and looks after her friends by putting them ahead of herself. This is just how she likes things to be even though she seems much more important than anyone else.

Mary comes from a rich background, which means she obviously has some sort of recognition about her. Not many will actually know who she is however as her family never really put her in the spotlight. Mary didn't want to be famous and wants to lead a normal life. The people that do know her however are fully aware of her habits of spending without thinking and giving her riches away for petty reasons.

Mary has a distinct love for the colours green and yellow which relates to her usual green colour scheme and golden hair. This also means she likes flowers with green stems and yellow petals. She personally likes to water these flowers specifically but holds no grudge against them. In fact she also has an odd connection with red and white petals on flowers that has gone unexplained.

Mary does however have a slight sadistic side to her for reasons unexplainable. She is an ordinary happy girl but at the sight of blood, can become very demonic. Her parents have been made aware of it and keep her away from any acts of violence that could set her off. However when it does happen, it isn't surprising for her to try and hurt someone she doesn't know and have a flip in personality.

She suddenly starts to hate flowers and kicks all colours of flower except red and white ones. She seems to stop having any care about the people around her other than those that she was really close to. It's almost like she forgets who they are. She also becomes incredibly stingy as she takes peoples wallets and hides all kind of expense from sight. This usually results in her walking into shops and deliberately smashing things then running away with what she can carry. Her nimble nature makes it difficult for her to be tracked.

Because all of this has happened before several times, she has been brainwashed into thinking that blood and gore will cause her to feel weak and fall sick. This is how to tries to avoid it and turns away before she can get a good look of anything. Doctors have noted this sudden change is a mental scar on her that can't simply wash away. Her 'evil' nature vanishes after an hour of it arising.

» Background:

Mary was born into the Maxwell family 15 years ago. They were not entirely sure what to name her but the father 'James Maxwell' wanted her to have a nickname he could refer to. Her mother, 'Jessica Maxwell' wanted a name that reflected her position in society. They hoped Mary would grow up to become a powerful woman that was important to society. Thus, the name Marilyn Maxwell came into light and James nicknamed her Mary.

They lived in a rather large house in England before the demon take over. The Maxwell family were still making a name for themselves in the Media industry. They both presented news channels for youths and soon grew into journalism for bigger news stories. Eventually, most of England had seen them on TV at least once.

Mary was a rather quiet girl of which seemed a bit odd at first as she cried only when things were obviously wrong instead of the natural instinct of the baby to cry whenever it felt something. Mary gave off the idea that she was either smart of faulty. Taking no chances, she was tested but no negative faults could be detected. James and Jessica went on believing they had a gifted child.

Mary would have been alive for a whole year when her first birthday came. Nothing really happened in this time other than the appreciation she gained throughout her family for being too adorable. At the age of 2 was capable of walking and babbling nonsense. She was quite the energetic child and enjoyed finding new things as she wandered about the mansion. of course, her parents had a challenge looking after her as she started climbing the stairs.

Mary went to her first school at the age of 4. Here, she started to show her kindness to others even as a child. She would often try to make friends with people there and was well looked after by the teachers considering they knew who's family she came from. Mary met several old friends there that she would forget in the coming years, but she wouldn't have become the person she is now without friends all the way through her life. There was one in particular who seemed closer to her than all the others. Her name was Clementine which was very odd but it was apparent, that Clementine came from another well known family. They often visited, but Mary was never too sure on her until one day when they were both 7 that they became good friends.

Clementine would often come over to Mary's house to play hide and seek of which both girls seemed to be very good at. Their parents often had trouble finding them in kitchen cupboards, James' garage and the weirdest of all, behind a bush in the garden where the family dog buries his toys. The two girls were the best of friends until one day when they were both 13. They had been attending the same high school in England, London when suddenly the entire city was under attack by demons. Struggling to escape, the two girls found themselves locked in a cupboard. Staying perfectly silent, the girls held each other tight as the world around them began to fall apart. they could hear screaming students down the corridors being chased down by the bloodied footsteps of demons.

Clementine then told Mary that they needed to escape. Waiting for 4 hours for everything to go silent, the girls left the cupboard and stealthily moved around the school, avoiding all contact until they could get to the front entrance. Bodies lay everywhere torn apart by the jaws of powerful demons. the girls had to cover their noses to stop themselves from gagging over the smell. Eventually, they made it outside to find London covered in blood, demons and destruction.

As the girls got a few streets away from the school, they were confronted by a pack of dog-like demons that had picked up their scent. Chasing after them, the girls fled into an alley to find a dead end. Clementine saw no other way out other than over a wall at the end. Pushing Mary up onto the wall, Clementine had no time to get up herself by the time the demons came close. Mary clutched the girls hand and pulled, trying to get her up but to no avail. Mary had instead yanked off the girls hand as a demon chewed through her arm.

Too frightened to even move, Mary stayed up on the wall for a while, clutching her face as she watched her best friend be dragged in parts down the alleyway. the demons didn't seem to want to catch Mary any more as they had their food. Soon, after several minutes passed of bent insanity, Mary fell from the wall and landed in the pool of blood left by the corpse of her friend. here, she fell faint and blacked out. No demons went down that alleyway after the invasion of London.

Mary awoke later, on a helicopter with her parents. What had happened, was both James and Jessica heard the news and hired a team to go in and find Mary and Clementine. Finding Mary in a pool of blood, they carried her off to a safe location and called in their private chopper. Taking off, they escaped from London and deemed their home unsafe to return to now. Flying to Japan hoping to get away from this carnage, they arrived at their holiday home and set up life there. However, even though they had money, they had to rebuild a name for themselves. Mary began to attend Karakura High from the age of 14 but she has never been the same as before. She seems like she is constantly pushing herself to be happy yet when she is alone, she barely smiles.

one day whilst walking through a park in Karakura, Mary noticed something gleaming from the top of a tree. Curious as to what it was for a reason she couldn't explain, she began to climb the tree. Failing several times, she didn't give up until she made it to the top. Plucking the shiny thing from the branch, she looked it over before being worryingly called for by her mother. Climbing back down, she hid what she had found under her dress. Later that night she got a closer look at it. The entire thing was golden, not pure gold but coloured gold. It was a cross or Crucifix where the bottom half could be pulled off to reveal a sharp blade. Each point including the centre was grafted a Ruby coloured gem that seemed to glow slightly. Mary kept a hold of this. Something about holding it felt... unholy...

Equipment: Mary is currently holding onto a Golden cross, encrusted with rubies at each point and the centre. When pulled, the bottom half comes off revealing a sharp blade. Mary has hidden this from everyone, but keeps it on her person at all times.

Mary channels the reitsu she has stored up in her body to rapidly blast as much power as she can through her body. Taking on snippets of the previous owner of her daggers ability, she seems to age by several years to look 19. Her hair shoots from a golden blonde to a dark brown which retains its graceful beauty. Her eyes often change into a glowing red, but sometimes changes depending on her mood. Her green dress also flushes away to be replaced by a red flowing dress with black frills. her tights shatter, splitting into ribbons that wrap around her legs and around her bare feet. Her body seems to resemble that of another person and breaks the laws of physics and age.

Mary freaks out as her influence is drained out by the crucifix. Her bodu remains at the age of 19, but she becomes wrapped in a veil of darkness as the crucifix morphs. It's body lengthens and twists into a jet black scythe covered in chains. The chains are often wrapped around her waist so she doesn't have to hold it. What is very dangerous about this form however is that grin on her face.

Mary is able to conjure whatever outfit she wishes to wear in this form. It is usually her dresses as normal, but sometimes she prefers a more flexible attire to move quicker. In this state, her body morphs again so that her hair goes jet black. Her beautiful blonde hair is now a majestic black. What is most noticeable about this change is how she seems to act differently. Her entire personality becomes even more bloodthirsty than normal. She leaps at the chance to shred people to bits with her new weapon.

In this form, Mary comes across as semi-innocent yet has a devilish undercoat. She will kill, and she will do it for fun. However, she tricks people into believing she is on their side before utterly betraying them in horrific ways.

All of her clothes and hair burst into a vibrant white and her scythe appears to vanish. The chains however have attached to her legs and hands restraining some movement. Her eyes are often red but can be white as well.
