Special Delivery (Nanaly/Anis)

Nanaly had a lot to adapt to in the Vandenrich. The admin work took a lot of work to jump into. The Vandenrich had many processes that Nanaly needed to learn. Though she liked it because it was different, it wasn’t just the same tasks on repeat; there were many different tasks she did. Today was a different one, package delivery. Well, she didn’t get the specifics. She was given an apartment and a package. Anis was the name she was given.

Nanaly couldn’t complain about getting out and stretching her legs. She walked through the City of Light holding the package as she tried her best not to get lost, one wrong turn and she could end up across the city.

Arriving at the apartment, Nanaly would knock on the door, curious to meet this Anis lady, if she was getting a package from the Vandenrich she must be important.

Anis was at home, making haggis! Or, trying to make Haggis, she wasn't doing it quite well right now. She ate the horrible concoctions she created in her attempts - a robust immune system and wild Blut if it got to that made it easy to throw off sickness - but she had yet to succeed.

So when she got a knock at the door, she would take the moment to go see who it was. Pulling the door open and seemingly ignorant or just not at all caring that she only had an apron on, a waft of horrible smoke and rank stenches billowed out of her small apartment.

"Ahh, hello! Thank you for your work"

Nanaly was pretty curious about this woman specifically, why was she getting a package, she didn’t want to ask questions, at least not when she only just started working for the Vandenrich. Her nose cringed as she felt that terrible smell almost smack her in the face. After just a moment she blinked and readjusted to the woman in an apron. With a very slight nod, Nanaly extended the box, still unsure what was in it.

“This is from the Vandenrich. They told me to believe it. Mrs… Anis. Right?” Thinking for a moment. “Are you apart of the Vandenrich?” Her job WAS done, now she was trying to make small talk. After all, she WAS curious.

"It should be Mrs Kabal. Most people don't put the first name" she'd take the box, and look at it for a moment. It did, in fact, have her first name. Might be from Doc, she was very friendly.

"But yes, I am!" she exclaimed, with a broad grin. "Sort of. I am, waiting to be better so I can join them properly but soon I will have it all done and I will be in them properly soon, hopefully" Anis' complete lack of confidence in words were at odd with the confidence her tone, as if she never bothered about what she said or did anymore.

Wait. Aniss was waiting to be better? Was… she like Nanaly? That was kind of the last thing she expected. The sickly woman would press further. “Sorry, Ms. Kabal. I just read the label” She gave a rather awkward chuckle.

“When you say… get better? What do you mean?” She leaned in a bit and moved forward about an inch. “Are you sickly too?” Hopefully adding too would make Anis a little bit more open about herself. “I only just joined the Vandenrich to help me with my heart so… I can relate”

"It is no trouble. It's a friend. Probably" Anis would reply, putting the box down and then turning to Nanaly as she said she was was sickly.

"Ohh, no" she'd exclaim, before pausing. "Probably. I am not blind to the looks people give me, and I am pretty sure some people would call me sickly. But my physical things were fixed a while ago. Now it's just being a proper Quincy. A spirit weapon at the very least, you know?"

She'd then cock her head and reach out to grab Nanaly's breast. Such a forward woman, she really knew how to flirt with a woman.

"I can see why you'd need help. It's not beating at all. How do you get through the day with a heart that doesn't beat?"

So Anis was sickly like Nanaly? Well, at least they had that in common. Nanaly wasn’t going to snoop on what was in the box, really wasn’t her business she was just the courier. She would lightly peek her head, her noticeable smile was present, but that wasn’t new.

“Quincy stuff is always hard. I mean I use my spirit weapon as a broom to fly aro-” As she went to explain how her Spirit Weapon worked she paused as she felt Anis grip her breasts.

As soon as that happened, Nanaly would swat her hand and take a good big step back.

“So. Are you just a mega creep like that all the time or…” Her smile faded as she raised her arm and balled up a fist.

Swatting Anis' hand was like hitting a brick wall. She was unnaturally, inordinately durable. The kind of durability one only got through a lot of conflict. Though that cheery face didn't seem to belong to a woman who had fought often enough to develop a body like this.

"Yep!" Anis would exclaim, with a nod. "Have you tried specializing a Blut towards your goals of having a heart that beats? I know it can do some really cool stuff if you are good enough with it"

Nanaly would find herself once again looking at Anis in confusion. Was the woman just… that out of it? Nanaly would look at the package once again. Folding her arms as she let Annis speak yet again. “Yes. My blut helps my heartbeat”

She would step backward just a little bit. “Enjoy your package. I gotta go” She was ready to move this conversation along after what Anis had just done. She kept walking backward.

"Excellent! Make sure to eat well so you got a lot of energy to keep your Blut going strong. And with luck, we will both get into a place where we are healthy and able!" Anis would exclaim, punching her fist into the air in a burst of enthusiasm. Then the woman said it was time to go, so Anis nodded.

"Take care of yourself, and make sure to get some help if you need it. Natasha and Meni are great for that. Doctor Sibihion is also a great doctor for helping with medical stuff"
