Mikado "Misha" Shiina [APPROVED, 5-5]
Mon Apr 09, 2012 10:34 am
Name: Mikado Shiina
Nickname: 'Misha'
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Personality: An indomitable cheer, shown with a face that is always smiling. There doesn't seem to be an off switch on Misha--she will almost always be moving around, shouting out or just causing a general ruckus wherever she goes. If she's not smiling, she'll be sleeping--even then, she'll be causing a lot of noise. A happy and bouncy individual on the outside, it's really shown when she's around people she knows, or cares about. She will always be louder and more raucous than the person next to her; even if said person is already being extremely loud on their own. Unfortunately, this can make her seem rather obnoxious and pushy when in a crowd of people. Of course... that's completely true. Willing to greet others with a smile and a loud laugh, the girl will always try to be at the forefront of peoples' attentions, not leaving anything up to chance when it comes to what others think about her. For some reason, however, there is no actual 'attention-seeking' coming from Misha. In fact, it can almost be seen as the opposite.
She aims to drive people away. No, that's a lie. She doesn't aim to drive them away, she just has certain people in mind that she wants to keep close. Once she finds herself caring for someone, or something, she starts to see everything as a part of their mind--if they are sad, she will emulate that, and so on. It's a vicious cycle, and one that is all-too-easy to perpetuate. If that person becomes disconnected from her, she will latch herself and her feelings onto another person. As well as this, it is noteworthy to understand that Misha herself is completely and totally gay, not at all choosing any takers from the male sex. She does not find them repulsive, just not to her liking. For that reason, she spends a lot more time with girls than guys, though is perfectly happy with finding a guy friend.
Background: How is one to describe the history of a girl who has not accomplished much? Well, one should probably start at the beginning. No, just before the beginning, approximately nine months before. Two people; a man and a woman. A mother, and a father. Lovers, a couple; married, ready for children. They made love, and they conceived a child together; their union made much sweeter by the thought. And, nine months later, a child was born. A child with the strangest of pink hair. They named her Mikado, for reasons unknown, and the girl's life truly began. It started with the first few years of her life, slowly gaining her feet and learning how to walk, talk and shout. Shouting was a rather important one--it was never satisfying for Mikado to just speak, no. She had to SHOUT to make herself heard! Not just shout, but shout loudly!
Reaching five years of age, the girl attended her first day of school, finding herself abound with friends--an almost idyllic lifestyle. She could smile with the people around her, laughing and cheering as they all learned their addition, subtraction, times tables, and how to read. It was some of the greatest times of her life; she would run around with the children all day, and do her homework, and be just as childish and innocent as the rest of them. Whenever she went to school, she would always shout and whoop, causing headaches for her teachers, and more than enough for her parents. They decided that, in order to help their daughter get along better in life, they would teach her sign language--a quiet language that would let her sign out her issues instead of having to shout them out into the world. Training started young, and she soon immersed herself in the world of the deaf, signing to them day in and day out, only being loud when the situation required.
Time passed, and she eventually reached Middle School, Junior High, and then High School itself. In her first year of High School, Mikado would have her first romantic encounter. A girl, by the name of Amane, smiled softly at her from the sidelines. Unknowing of her own sexuality, Mikado introduced herself with a bright smile and a cheerful laugh. They got along, and started going out with large groups of friends, all laughing and smiling together. However, one of these occasions changed slightly, when Amane pulled her to the side and into an alleyway. Not quite explaining herself properly, Amane simply pulled Mikado into a soft kiss, letting her lips press into those of the other. Nothing more happened; Amane claimed to be 'experimenting', and 'preferred boys', but everything was different from then on for Mikado. Chasing the fairer sex proved much better to her. All that was left was admitting it to her parents... who took it surprisingly well. And now, she's in her final year in High School, and ready to take this last year to its fullest, readying herself to be an adult... in a world of which she has no sense of the scale within.
