That was an unexpected move and as the ball of spiritual energy came towards her, Kalama had to make a quick decision, raising her hands slightly so that her spell went towards it. If she had more time, she’d have dodged but there simply wasn’t time for it. The result would be a rather loud bang as the two spells made contact, with the Shinigami’s powerful Hadō eventually pushing the ball backwards and away from her. A unique way of fighting for sure but as she watched the situation unfold, she couldn’t help but smile.

“Don’t fry your brain too much trying to cast spells.” Kalama mocked in return. “You need a fucking ton of practice before you’re going to hit me with one.”

She’d attempt at that point to Shunpo up towards the redheaded woman, slashing her zanpakuto in a horizontal motion and releasing three phantom versions which headed towards the woman, each channelled with lightning like the original.
