Liltotto Lamperd
Even now her scent dredged that memory, one of the things that pushed her over the edge, that gave her no reason left to live all those years ago. Giselle was by no stretch a model parent, but she was one of a few willing to actually raise her to not be messed up, at least not on purpose.
"..You did a better job than everyone else did," She'd sigh, pressing her head against her chest, "A whole host of Quincy as a community, and almost none of them gave a damn. All they did was be rough with me and call me hellspawn. But they don't matter anymore. You matter - I realized that; so I wanted to apologize."
Ugh, she was getting a flare up.. Pressing her temple, she'd sigh and gently lean back to grab the glass of ice water, downing it in a single pass. None of the medications they tried to give her for the pain worked, as expected, so really all she had to weather it with was water and time.
"I'm... I appreciate all I have now. I'm sure when I get my phone back it'll be blowing up with messages... Having people actually.. Care, about you feels better."

Giselle chuckled softly. "Well most of them died." He noted softly, She sighed at the low bar that was, even ignoring the fact they died. But all the same, she gently rubbed Liltotto's back, sighing a bit before pausing when she noticed Liltotto clutching her head. She took a moment to watch her, tilting her head just a little.
"You mentioned you were getting headaches. Did you let any of the nurses know?" She ventured. Well aware that Liltotto...well actually now that she thought of it. Liltotto was rarely in pain. Would she have any resistance to pain meds? OR like anti inflamatories? Hm... "I'd definitely mention it to the doctor if you havent." she noted. Surely they could find something.
Though, at the mention of Caring, she smiled. " And who wouldnt care? You're pretty big, and youre all rpetty and smart and social now." She noted with a smirk, giving Lil a little light noogie.

"Yes, the nurses know, the doctor knows.. They gave me different megadoses of pain meds; none of them have really worked."
It felt like something was pressing behind her eyes, an uncomfortable ripple of pain that made looking around quickly or being in a lit environment disorientating. So this was what migraines were like, huh..? She just wished she remembered what the hell could've caused it, though she subconsciously rubbed at her arm, unknowingly on the site of injection, "..They can't get any needles past my skin for blood tests or any other kinds of meds. I'm not even gonna get into the MRIs and x-rays."
Sucked to be such a troublesome thing to inspect properly, and she couldn't even make a tool to create an incision on her own body; every time she tried to focus on making anything it felt like her energy was just running water that refused to obey her hand dragging through. She vaguely remembered her power being sealed, and how uncomfortable being forcibly clamped shut was...
"..Yeah, yeah..." She'd sigh, clearly something was on my mind, "...Stuff's been freaking me out, though. I don't like not remembering what happened."

Giselle rolled her eyes and sighed softly as Liltotto talked about the issues with getting pain medications. "I'll give the doctors a list of medications that have worked with you in the past. Hell you probably don't even remember them, but you got some aches and pains when you were little whenever you ate a hollow. You seemed to not be as bad when you were older, but yea, I got some lists of old ass shit that worked. Though a few of them probably aren't used these days." She murmured. She wasn't too mad, she knew damn well how hard trying to medicate the girl was. It still irritated her that she hadn't thought to give that to them before.
"You might need to see a therapist hon. You've spent your whole life as more or less an immutable bitch slapper, and now TWICE in the same year, you've been hurt worse than you ever were." She pointed out softly, Not to mention the litany of ... other things she'd been through. "You said,,,, you had trouble remembering. What did you mean by that? Is it all just... a blank? Bits and pieces? What ... DO you remember?" She asked softly, gently reaching in and squeezing Liltotto's hand comfortingly as she asked. She knew it might upset her a little, but she had to know.

..Yeah she was having difficulty recalling anything like that. Normally she'd at least piece it together by scent memory, but she couldn't remember that either. Maybe if she actually had contact with whatever Giselle was talking about she'd know for sure, but... Ugh, trying to think back that far just made her headache more annoying.
"They have me assigned to one, no worries about that," She'd quickly meet the comment with a response, or well, as quickly as a droning lazily drawn sentence could be, "I'm, could you even consider either of those 'hurt'..?"
Her face scrunched a bit when she thought about it, but she disregarded it nearly as fast. No dwelling on that. There was a harder question to address. Though her face was ducked away, anyone could feel the sudden tension in the air when she was made to think about it.
"..I woke up by a river," she'd begin, "..Someone, dragged me somewhere... I spoke to someone... I was, I agreed to stay - not that I wanted to, but... I.."
A hand touched her chest, squeezing instinctively, "Someone had put a seal on me, so I couldn't really use anything to get out... I was there... I was there for weeks. It... It was fine, but no it wasn't, but..."
She wasn't sure if the rising sense of dread was making her headache worse or if it was the other way around.

"Yes Liltotto. Surprisingly, I DO consider something that puts you in the hospital as hurt." She noted tersely, flicking her daughter's shoulder before falling quiet as Liltotto attempted to delve a bit into her memories. But she grew.... increasingly more alarmed with what she heard. She wasn't just lost, she was held captive. She tightened her jaw for a moment and furrowed her brows as she thought about what she'd been told about the situation. Someone had brought her back. She didn't get any details, however. she couldn't help the suspicion. But she pushed that aside for now, as Liltotto started showing signs of duress, Giselle quickly reached out and squeezed her hand.
"Whoawhoa there alright hon, take a deep breath, don't worry about that for now. Here have some water hon." She murmured, handing Liltotto the glass as her own head churned away at that tiny snippet. Agreed to stay? She kept the confusion from her face, the last thing she needed was Liltotto to get upset again. No.... she wouldn't push that any further. Especially since that might actually be dangerous. She'd heard about the state Liltotto had been in when she got back. She couldnt help but wonder if Kleinmun had gotten a proper seal on her. Apparently whoever had found her HAD. So she had little doubt the steingruft would have something workable for Liltotto in case of an emergency.
"Alright. Well. Visiting hours are till Five. Do you want me to stay until then?" She asked softly. She wanted to stay, but well. She knew that Liltotto liked her space, and well... shed already said ti before. And though Liltotto seemed to have a renewed attachment to her. She ... didn't expect that would mean Liltotto would suddenly want her around 24/7.

She gripped that glass with everything she was, shakily bringing it to her mouth. Even if she could, she didn't want to remember yet, she wasn't ready. The situation was too fresh in her mind to feel comfortable remembering what happened during the latter part of her stay clearly. She knew for a fact she willingly stayed, she had tests conducted.. She just couldn't remember a face for the life of her. All that was there was his voice, and that unbearably.. Enticing, smell that crawled her skin.
That water was gone in an instant, squeezing Giselle's arm as she calmed her heart. She came back down. She was here.
"..Stay. As long as you can." Her voice came out small, "You don't have anywhere to run off to so soon, right..?"

Giselle nodded her head and once she felt Liltotto clinging to her arm, she promptly pulled them back against her chest, hugging her reassuringly, that she need not cling, she had no intention of leaving before she absolutely had to. "I understand sweetie. I'll talk to the nurses and see if I can stay overnight, I don't know what kind of accommodations or restrictions are in place, but we'll figure something out. They might be able to let me stay past visiting hours given the circumstances." She noted softly, before giving a sheepish smile.
"And uh... no, I don't have a place set up in the city right now. But don't worry. I'm gonna get a hotel or something. Though frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if the V..uh... Wahrun... sets something up for me. You know how they are." She chuckled softly, certainly Alastair had been supportive, but even if they didn't, it wasn't like she didn't have money to get her own hotel if need be. She thinned her lips a little as her mind wandered... so very briefly, to who used to get all that set up. But she didn't let her thoughts linger on that for too long. She had other things to focus on.

Liltotto Lamperd
Some sensation of relief hit her, even if she had that irritating banging in her skull. Any of her more dangerous symptoms had receded days ago... Apart from having a cautious watch on her at all times she wasn't considered an active hazard to interact with.
..Oh, so she was homeless, "What happened with your girlfriend..? I thought you had a relationship."
Her gaze fluttered down, gradually pulling herself to turn around and lie her head on Giselle's lap, "..A, uh, stable relationship."

Giselle paused for just a moment and looked down at Liltotto as the girl sniffed out the situation. Well, not like she would be able to hide it much. She was quiet for a few long seconds, and she reached down to gently run her fingers over Liltotto's hair, closing her eyes as she considered how... to explain it.
"Yea. I thought as much. But she....was always kinda married to her work. And right now, she ... wants to focus on that work." She had, of course felt it a bit at times. How Candice wasn't...quite about the life of the spiritual. For all of the powers she had, her passion really was business. "These things happen. Just because I'm old, don't mean I can't be blinded by ....whatever it was." she gave a rueful little smile and chuckled gently to herself. "It's alright though. Just means more camping." She felt a pit in her chest with every word. And though she didn't say it, she did feel the L word Curse burned into her chest as she danced around the notion.
It hurt. But right now, she had more important things. She had to put those feelings away for her daughter.
