Though her tone was exhausted, face scrunched, she managed to muster some of her old self unintentionally, gazing at her with dulled yellow eyes, "Had to break it off with Dorian for a similar reason.. Except we both were too wrapped up in our jobs. We like each other, but we just never had the time required for a relationship... And that was alright."

It wasn't a talk she wanted to have with him, but even she needed to be realistic about it. She wanted a little more out of a relationship on top of it all, too; it wasn't his fault he didn't feel the same way. She couldn't ever blame him, or anyone she could feasibly date, for wanting something else out of it than her.

"It's.. You're not blind, don't be stupid. It's normal to want different things and realize you aren't compatible... Also, no the hell you aren't being homeless; stay with me til Wahrender can sort something out for you. I get the occasional roommate but there's at least one free room. I sleep on the couch."

Giselle winced a little and sighed. "I never liked that one." She noted in reference to Dorian. She certainly was glad that that hadn't stuck around. But all the same, she closed her eyes and leaned he head back a bit as Liltotto promptly took the reigns a bit in the conversation. But ... she didn't engage with the subject of her compatibility with Candice. She wasn't sure she was quite ready to. "Works for me, when do you think you'll get discharged?" She asked as she surveyed liltotto. The girl seemed to be all physically intact, she didn't imagine that the nurses would want Liltotto sticking around. Regardless of the ironclad Stomach, she was sure that they still just had instinctive desires to get the gal out of the hospital.

"Dunno why you always hated the bed." Certainly Liltotto had been like that for a while on and off. But she wasn't going to argue it. "So. What do you think of this whole..Wahrun.. thing?" She asked with a glance toward the television set. It was off at the moment, but she could still imagine what kind of stuff was going on in the news.

Her eyes rolled about in her sockets for a moment as she tried to remember what the nurse even said to her... Did she even ask? Eh, all she had was an estimate, "Probably soon. I have enough food or at least get enough sleep to make up for the gaps. They've been..." She tried picturing their faces, their names; it felt like a blur, if anything she forgot which one she spoke to about a specific subject occasionally, "Perfectly fine. They've treated me well."

It really bothered her that she didn't seem to retain these details properly, but maybe she was just shaken up still, maybe it'll get better with time. She just had to trust in the passage of time, she guessed; just like how she felt about that following question.

"Wahrender," She'd calmly correct - at least she remembered that fine, "I appreciate full the breakaway from the Lichtreich. Lotta quincies may not be happy with it... All I can do is see what the future holds. I'm staying, either way."

"As for the couch.. I'm just more comfortable lounging and sleeping on seats."

Giselle nodded her head softly at that and gently leaned back against the hospital bed, relaxing as she listened to the girl speak. Concern was still there, but well.. she wasn't any kinda scientist. Much as she was a well...unlicensed medical proffessional, she didn't know much about memory an stuff like that. "Soon is good. ONce you get a chance to not be in here, it'll feel a bit better. Heh.... last time I was in here it sucked, you be in one of these beds too long the days just blend together." She noted with a lopsided smile.

"That's gonna take some getting used to. Not that its complicated or anything, just... yknow. Weird." She paused for a moment and considered the entirety of the situation. All the shit changing. "Theres probably going to be quite a few Shinigami rolling in, you know. What with Al's announcement." She noted softly, glancing down to her. "Make sure you play nice and don't bite anyone." She noted with a playful smirk.
