Re: A Lesson In the Art of Kido(Hannah/Hiroe)

MIYASHIRO HIROE
A wide smile would line Hiroe's lips as she gazed at Hannah as though she had received a compliment from one of her esteemed heroes. To be told that she had a strong talent for something she wasn't inherently confident in outside of her swordsmanship was equivalent to almost feeling as if she had a won a prize. Her elation was boundless, her spirit teeming with confidence. Gazing at the woman in awe as she formed several strands of energy, interlacing until they created a beautifully knitted scarf, Hiroe would nod happily, listening to the woman's wise words. She hardly knew her but Hannah was clearly in the realm of master. Hiroe wondered if she'd reach such a realm one day. For now, she was merely content with her orb and string. Now, she could study and replicate until she could form more with her spirit power. She would warmly hug the woman to show her gratitude.
"I won't, Miss Hannah! I'll make sure I take my time and ruminate on what you told me today. I thought more students would've arrived but I'm more than grateful to have had you to myself. Do you have any tea recipes I could make note of, too?"

The sudden hug caught her off guard, and broke the carefully made illusion that Hannah had any kind of girth to her. Hugging, Hiroe could feel the gaunt nature of Hannah's body, the way she was unhealthily thin and without muscle. Hannah used makeup and subtle light bending to make herself appear healthy, but to the touch it was clear she was not.
"I've a poor reputation, so I am not surprised with them not turning up, honestly. As for tea recipes, tea is simple. Hot water, milk, and sugar if you want. The difference comes from the leaves and order of operation. Milk first gives a different flavour than water first"

MIYASHIRO HIROE
The gaunt nature of Hannah's body caused Hiroe pause, curious eyes attempting to peer beyond the illusory nature of the woman's frame. Her body felt brittle, lacking definition where definition seemed like a requirement for one's physical constitution. What happened to her? Hiroe could only guess as to what led her body to deteriorate to such an extent. Even so, to pry into her life after meeting her would seem unbecoming. Still...
"What type of reputation do you mean, Miss Hannah? You seem to be quite a kind-spirited woman who helped me learn how to better grasp my spirit power. I... don't mean to pry but I am curious."

Putting a hand on Hiroe's head and stroking it, Hannah would give a gentle smile.
"Suffice to say, it is a bad one. I don't want to taint the perception of me with tales of what happened in the past. It is in the past, so let us leave it there" Hannah said, giving Hiroe some comfort and then picking up the books that she had brought in.
"Maybe later, if we get married, I'll tell you" she said, giving the woman an impossible hurdle to overcome so she wouldn't have to tell her about the bad times. "Now, do you need me to escort you anywhere, or are you fine on your own?"

MIYASHIRO HIROE
As expected, Hannah chose to keep any information regarding herself - confidential. Hiroe supposed that was to be expected. They had met one another only today. Why would she reveal anything to a student she met a few hours ago? She tilted her head, blinking at the next thing she said, though. An odd thing to be said, especially within this setting of all places, but Hiroe simply smiled and bowed before the woman before grabbing her books as she returned to Hannah , bowing before the woman as she walked towards the door.
"I can get around well enough from here. It was a pleasure to meet you, Miss Hannah! For what it's worth, I think your a good person. Call it naïve but I don't think a person should always be judged for their past. They should be given a second chance if they want to turn things around, ya know? Just a little thing I wanted to get off my chest."

"A dangerous sentiment" Hannah would say, looking to Hiroe's direction. "A woman I know ruined her life trying to give people second chances, if they wanted to turn things around. She lost everyone she cared about, because she cared about everyone. Going against the grain is a path to suffering and despair. Even the hardest of beings will crack under that pressure. And I don't want to see you suffer"
Hannah would finish gathering her things and exit the classroom herself. She had some advanced studies to do for the Kido Corps - or whatever they called themselves these days - so was going to be around for a while.
"But if you do want any further help with anything, just send a butterfly and I'll come see you. Talent should be nurtured"

MIYASHIRO HIROE
Hiroe paused for a moment before exiting the door. She held too much respect for her teacher to simply walk away when she was still speaking. The words were harsh, spoken as if they came from a place Hiroe had yet to experience. Her natural disposition and belief system typically meant she saw almost the best in everyone. To her, she wanted to share in the glory of everyone, to see everyone succeed.
Perhaps... she was correct. Not everyone could be saved. Even so, Hiroe was free to come to that conclusion on her own one day, even if the path that awaited her might be one rife with pain. How else can she achieve her dreams if she's always looking at life with rose-colored glasses?
"...Maybe your right. You would know better than me. That said, of course I'll send you a butterfly, Miss Hannah! I'm glad you think I'm talented. It means a lot coming from you. When we meet next time, you should tell me how you find such nice dress wear... and I'll bring you something else, tailor made by yours truly for teaching me. You can add it to your collection of outfits~"
And with that, she would wave the woman goodbye as she set off to walk in her own direction, curious as to where Hannah would be going next.
