Caution, Highly Flammable [Bambietta, Alastor]

"Probably be better to stay down here. I'm guessing they'll want to be able to study this place, see what else they can find."

Shrugging, Bambietta's eyes still moved back and forth, just in case anything happened. There was a part of her that was pretty interested in whatever this was, and she wanted answers, but not enough to suddenly take unnecessary risks and ignore protocol.

She could have made small talk during the waiting time, chatted Alastor up, but that wasn't really something she was too concerned about right now. She thought it was way more important that she stay focused on this in case anything happened. Of course, it didn't, and the 3rd division squad arrived without terribly much fanfare.

"About time."

Bambietta held out the ring for the squad leader, giving him a short little run down before she was almost unceremoniously dismissed.

"Yeah, yeah, alright... Guess we're done here, Alastor. Wanna head back to the tent? I'm starving."

Her casual demeanor only barely covered up a clear irritation at having been given this particular treatment. Of course, she knew that this was, in fact, not their concern, and that these people almost certainly were more qualified to handle it than either of them. Didn't change that she didn't appreciate being pushed out so fast.

"Bout time, I hate being down here. C'mon Bambi, let's blow this joint."

He said casually, if not jovial about being able to get out of this place and let these other suckers have to handle it. He didn't get why she sounded annoyed at being kicked out of the action, what? Did she just want to stand around and look pretty?

Alastor did his job, no more or no less. So he turned around and walked back to the hole in the ceiling. A small crouch before jumping the distance and coming to land back in the bubble or so he thought it was a bubble. No, the reinforcements had just applied some stakes in the ground which were holding back to the water on both sides and creating a corridor.

Saved him from getting wet at least, without waiting for Bambietta he started to walk towards the camp. She could catch up right? It wasn't like he was racing here or anything.

"Don't call me that."

Bambietta's voice wasn't overly sharp as she said that, knowing perfectly well that it had just been a convenient shortening of her name. But she didn't much care for it, considering it reminded her of a much less pleasant period of her life. Shrugging, she followed after him, continuing to slowly ease up as she walked alongside him.

"I almost joined 3rd you know, but I don't like their attitude over there. Plus the higher ups creep me out."

She hadn't been fond of the old captain, and she wasn't fond of the vice captain, either. Granted, she felt like something was pretty off about her own captain, too, but it still wasn't quite as bad.

"Whatever."

He said waving away her displeasure at being called the convenient nickname, he wouldn't call it again but he didn't really care too much either to ask her why she didn't like it.

"Pfft, third division. Sounds like crap."

All those freaking oddballs and creeps, he didn't get why anyone joined that division. They must need some screws loose to fit in there, which is probably the people that it appealed to anyway. Whatever, they could do their nerdy things and keep it to themselves, he was content in the seventh division and being able to be down here most of the time.
