THE KING OF NOTHINGL
KAKINE YUUDESHI
壊れた魂
壊れた魂
Song: UNKNOWN - Artist: UNKNOWN - Words: 626
Useless
Kakine Yuudeshi walked the cold shores of Iceland's winter state, his body mending with the cold winds as if they were one in the same. He had arrived in Iceland previously under the guise of helping Azure Iramasha, an ally to the Yuudeshi clan, his family. The prominent leaders of multiple organizations and the leading defense against attackers that wish to prey upon Karakura City. They sent their influence depending on the situation, whether it was needed or not was truly meaningless to the man that walked the cold edge of Iceland. The day was going to be long, the entirety of it would be far too great to explain. But, too simple to handle in large groups. Iceland was a war ground, one that Kakine would know far too well.
Step after step, the man's hands remained within his pockets as he took a look across the cold ocean of Iceland's far west coast. It only brewed in degree with the darkness and spite that was now consuming Iceland as a whole. The Vanguard arrived in order to instill a sense of respect and to remove outer influences from Iceland, to give it back to its people. Shadowfall on the other hand, would not allow such a thing. With that being the case, the two groups were in a heated battle that seemed to only continue on for miles and miles. News of the Vanguard's leader, Azure Iramasha, a family friend, was in current battle with the Shadowfall forces leader. He was located in the capital city, an area that Kakine intended on touching down in when the time came. Along with this battle, tens of others had spawned all across Iceland's surface. It seemed that it was a battleground for the damned, a proving ground that couldn't be avoided.
Oh well.
The words floated through Kakine's mind as a small smirk graced his lips. Movements unseen to the human eye occurred as his body flashed, momentarily disappearing from the face of the earth. It was in these few moments that he had appeared outside of the large barrier containing the capital, Reykjavik. It seemed that no one would be getting in nor out of the hell hole. As it stood for the outer reaches of the dome however, Shadowfall forces had been entirely obliterated and Vanguard Forces were now taking hold of the borderline. All but one had escaped the wrath of whoever had come previously, a demon that seemed to be engaged in combat with another human, one that seemed to be of Vanguard origin. Rubbing his forehead, Kakine spat to the side and watched the dark, crimson skies of Iceland roll over. Clouds of white and red filtered in and out of vision as the male brought a Cigarette up to his lips, lighting it and taking a long intake of smoke.
War is useless. Useless and painful.
The words echoed upon the battlefield as his body once again disappeared, his energy influencing his speed to reach a near doubled state of speed. His body coiled as he emerged in between the two fighters. One, the Human that had appeared to take on the asshat, while the other was a demon that sought nothing but war. He would learn, just as the human would, that War was not a game. Iceland's war only sent echoes of pain and regret through Kakine's mind. It was close to that of World War Three, the war in which he slaughtered thousands in the name of his dying wife. Memories were not ones that wished to be remembered, but those which had been lived through for years.
As the flashbacks slowly came to a close, Kakine's body once again moved in a fluid motion as a tornado of death had been sent flying forward at the disturbed demon. Within one flick of his left arm, energy blasted from his body outward to send a wall flying upward, thick and erect as it sent the tornado dispersing, nearly being broken entirely. The was to block the attack that Dellaporo sent forth to the demon. On the other hand, Kakine's right arm had been sent flying upward as well in order to create a dome around the man himself. As the energy formed into the titanium dome, the attacks that had been meant for the Human were thus directed towards him, being completely negated as the dome was dropped once more. In yet another fluid motion, the two objects that had been previously created through Kakine's Creation Construction would disperse, the energy returning to his body once more.
There was no time for games, the Vanguard would be taking control of the outer city in mere moments and there wouldn't be anyone stopping this. However, those that wished to interfere upon Azure Iramasha's battle would need to step before Kakine and prove to him that they were as well going to enter the proving ground that was Reykjavik. Standing fully straight, the male's dirty blonde hair sporadically waved in the air, the cold winds of Iceland only picking up as the seconds ticked by.
"Listen here, jackasses. This is Vanguard territory now. Which means you-" Kakine's left hand focused towards Dellaporo, pointing at him violently. "Will stand watch with me to make sure no outsiders interfere with that idiot Azure. While on the other hand-" Kakine's right hand now focused towards Chris, pointing at him as dark energy began to envelop his entire body. "You will be leaving. You have two choices. Death, or retreat. You only have seconds to act and your decision will be fine. Don't fuck around, kid. You don't understand what's soon to happen"
Words had been spoken and finalized, the Yuudeshi's body radiating with anger due to the Shadowfall operative that still remained in the outskirts of Reykjavik. If he took the death route, Dellaporo and Kakine would have no issues deal with him, if he left he would live to fight another battle. He was given a decision, if he did not accept either then the decision would be made for him.
Kakine would make sure of that

Artist:Sixto Sounds- Song:Mystic Odyssey - Word Count:1088 --
Dellapero darted forward, the visuals of the battlefield beginning to blur in the state of building sonic speeds and the momentum manifesting around him. His emerald eyes narrowed, watching for any sudden movement from his foe. He could feel the tension in their soul, the doubtful, but resolute feeling that had driven many to these kinds of situations. It wasn't his favorite thing to force those kinds of odds against people if he had anything to say about it, but this time of war didn't permit such minor preferences to carry merit Seconds before the short-lived battle would have began, the Human noticed a blurred figure approaching rapidly. In this limited state, his advanced perception had some difficulty making them out, but could still track the hypersonic Yuudashi to some degree. He had only a moment to question who they were and whether or not they served as early reinforcements to the falling Shadowfall regime.
Then it hit him. The unknown ally landed between the Hellspawn and the Human just as Grance was about to strike. He had already taken up the motion of his attack, foot dragging through the ground and kicking up rock and stone all around. His kick had been sent forth, the small frame of time he had used in an effort to alter the nature of his attack. Thsi proved pointless, a sudden wall of concentrated wind a kin to a living tornado manifesting in the new arrivals wake. His strike hit the current instead, the spiritual winds being pushed inward and redirected from the kinetic energy and momentum of the spinning kick. It sustained itself, draining all the energy from the blow and blocking his path from reaching the Demon who now stood only a couple feet away. He blinked, more confused than anything, but also exceedingly cautious.
Dellapero kicked off the surface off the twister, severing the current even further and launching himself a few feet away from the newly arrived soul. He slid across the ground, dragging up dust in his wake. Whoever this guy was, they were a hell of a lot stronger than the shrimp he was facing before, even on a league higher than his own. On the bright side, if they were an enemy than he'd finally be back in the court of a scenario he was used to; being the underdog. Sparks of dark-green lightning continued to crackle around him, the moecules in his body being rearranged and improved over and ober with each passing second in preperation for when things inevitably heated up again.
He stood still, waiting for more details to unveil themselves and allow him to better deduce things before acting up again. Normally that wasn't his style, but with how severe things were at the time, his personal traits had to be put aside for the time being. Things were even more obscured when the metal dome manifested, a barrier oriented on defending from the Demon's coming onslaught taking form and preventing their attacks from even reaching him. It wouldn't have been too much trouble to avoid on his own, but it was clear this individual didn't want their fight to take place for one reason or another. It all came together at the end of the former fight being completely nulled on both sides by a single force. From the words Kakine spoke, it became clear they were actually with the Vanguard of all things! That may have been more obvious if he kept up with these things more effectively.
Dellapero exhaled a long sigh, expecting the worst for his former adversary. Where he was generally merciful, he couldn't say the same for all of the Vanguard. Whether just a threat or not, he couldn't be sure, nor really had any merit to stop the execution. It was a war, after all. There wasn't time to waste in self-made conflicts over personal disagreements. He took a step forward once the tide of assaults had ended, all of them reduced to ruin by the odd defensive constructs built around them. "This place was practically already ours. Don't see why you needed to drop in when there are plenty of areas that need a lot more back up than here. .Though with your debut, I'm sure we'll be seeing plenty of reinforcements on their end sooner than later."
His hand drifted toward his sword's hilt. It was more a precautionary measure for who else would soon arrive, rather than either of the two on the field as of now. He remained silent for now in regards to the threat,.It wouldn't have much merit if he opted in now before a response from the out-classed, and now out-numbered soldier. They didn't have much reason to stay against these odds. Things went from dim, to completely hopeless for the single soul to maintain control here. Grance's ears tracked the sky, listening in for anything getting closer to the outskirts of the capital. The roar of power inside the barrier was louder than most things, but he'd pick up on any vast quantities of soldiers headed their way. Until then, the vanguard operative waited for things to escalate once more and the Demon's response to the continuously stacked odds against them
