Khalaism [The Primary Religion Of Demon World]

«WHAT IS KHALAISM?»

Khalaism is a demonic religion that is tethered to the fabled creators of the demon race: Khala Asthavon and Deveta. These two beings, and those they bless, are often considered messengers of divine will. This is because Khala opened the doors to Hell itself and sought to do massive revamping after the events of Demonic Incursion. [Related links: One, Two and Three] Not only that, but they were considered to be the lifeblood of Demon World and are held in high regard due to their capacity to have forged the Demon Race eons ago.

Ergo, this religion is often worshiped because of the fact that they hold such strong ties to the soul cycle and have the potential to send spirits to their final and fulfilled destiny. Essentially, the core of Khalaism is belief that the key to eternal bliss lies within Nirvana. This is because Khala herself had devised its creation during Demonic Incursion and allows those who accept Khalaism into their heart passage. It can be found at the 666th layer of Hell. It was started sometime in over a five hundred thousand years ago, but grew traction in the last four hundred years as the feats of demon kind became more advanced and unrestricted. And, as if 2415, there are hundreds of millions of Khalaism followers active. There are many dispatched in Demon World and Earth, but their reach can also be found in portions of the Soul Society and Earth itself.

«WHAT IS KHALAISM'S BELIEFS?»

There are nine core beliefs, and nine core sins of Khalaism. These tie into the nine circles of hell and are to be followed.

THE NINE BELIEFS

1. Death is not the end. Embrace it. Do not live in fear of it. Once you have passed into the depths of hell, Nirvana shall await you for the trials you've faced in life.

2. Suicide is not encouraged. This is because it halts the progression of what your afterlife will be forged. The longer you live, the more rich and developed your afterlife will be.

3. Spread Khalaism, BUT DO NOT FORCE IT. The more you inform and convert others, the greater the potential that many of the souls of this universe can be saved. However, if they reject your advances, then accept their request and move to the next. Do not waste time on lost souls.

4. Do not senselessly take life. Only kill if it is to bring a soul to nirvana, for food or in self-defense.

5. When in another’s domain, show them respect or else do not go there. These need not apply if you are not shown the same respect.

6. Acknowledge the power of the divine if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of divine after having called upon it with success, you risk losing what you've obtained.

7. Do not take from others unless you are prepared to be pillaged yourself.

8. Belief in the gods themselves is ideal, but faith in hell itself is required. Have hope that embers of Za Koa can guide your spirit to the promise land.

9. Be true to yourself.


THE NINE SINS

1. Failing to gain prospective in life can be considered a sin of Khala. Each spirit born in this existence is important. Every action you make for yourself, or Khalaism, speaks volumes of the character you. Every spirit has the chance to rewrite history and create impressions on to others, so know yourself and know your self-worth.

2. Killing fellow Khalaist can be considered a sin of Khalaism. The only time this does not apply is if they desire it or were ready to perish.

3. Forcing or enslaving others into Khalaism is considered a sin. One should only be converted of their own desire and will after being informed what this religion practices.

4. Spreading misinformation about Khalaism is classified a sin. Give them the truth and the whole truth.

5. Do onto others as one would do to yourself. Failing to adhere to this is considered a sin. If you are not prepared to to suffer the same, do not take action.

6. Failing to remain true to essence is considered a sin. Do not pretend to be something you are not. Khalaism is meant to enhance ones life, not turn it into a sham.

7. The purpose of living is to develop, grow and become wise from the hardships and pleasures of life so that your afterlife is rich. Not acknowledging this belief is a sin because it breeds nihilism and negativity. Life has meaning, do not fail to remember that.

8. Breathe blessing into the earth and share your gifts at least once in your lifetime. Wasting potential, talents and blessings with the world is considered a sin. You do not have to senselessly give until you have nothing left within yourself, but try to better the world around you in some form. Especially if you demand much.

9. Do not betray Khalaism. Lacking belief is one thing, but falling traitor to the religion is a sin.

«WHAT IS KHALAISM'S BENEFITS?»

Empowerment: Those who seek the path of Khalaism are often met with a boost of power. The reason for this is because it is fairly easy to share the wealth of collective energy and power assoicated with all those who are apart of this religion. Together with the fact that Khala herself controls the flow of Za Koa, it isn't out of the question that a pact can be made to infuse more power into a spirit. All the character has to do is seek the quest of more power and a transference seal will be made. It will often have the symbol of Khalaism on it and it will serve to potentially bolster their speed, strength, abilities or tier varying from person to person. [Must be applied for or role played out.]

Enlightenment: It is possible to bolster ones knowledge of the world through Khalaism. This is done with the seal of Khalaism that is infused into every member. Through their network of bonded runes, they store the wealth of information each Khalaism member is willing to share. Once they have stored this perspective of the world, it is possible for followers of Khalaism to attune themselves to these runes and steadily begin the process of deciphering the information like assorting through a vast, magic-based library. [Must be role played out if seeking knowledge or applied for in the thread.]

Unity: It is possible for followers of Khalaism to call for help. This is done by them sharing the wavelength of their soul and infusing their emotions into it. If a Khalaist nearby is able to pick up on it, there is a chance for them to come and help save the character. Or, they can request Za Koa or Khala herself to summon various minions, attacks or people to help out.

After-Life Saved: All those who are marked by Khalaism will have their souls sent into nirvana when they die. This seal will also help protect them against powers which otherwise act as an attempt to erase the soul. This is made possible by the fact that the spirit of Khala and Za Koa themselves work to lessen the damage done by these attacks. In doing so, they allow time for the spirit to escape this fate and retreat into Hell before they are vaporized, sealed or otherwise captured. [Must be role played out and judged by staff]

«BECOMING APART OF KHALAISM?»

Ritual/Seals: It is possible to become a Khalaist through ritual. By attuning yourself to the flow of life of a fellow Khalaism member, you can have the Seal of Khalaism sealed into your body and you can become marked as an official Khalaism member. This is done by them tethering their life force to yours and passing down this essence into your bodies stream of energy. Often times they will need to mark you with their energy, infuse it into different mediums (papers, weapons and so forth) or perhaps even bathe you in holy water to pass it on. [This needs to be role played out or applied for]

Sharing Blood Of Khalaism Member: If you accept the blood of Khala into you, then any ranking member of Khalaism can mark you as a Khaalist. So this also means that some can be born into it like those of Khala's direct chidlren or those who share her direct blood.

Praying To Deveta: This often occurs with demons, but can occur with other races if you find a Khalaism temple or church. Essentially, all you have to do is channel your spirit to the stream of Za Koa in the universe. If you are not a demon, then a Khalaist or a priest can help do that for you. After that, you will then pray for the seal to emerge in your body and the mark of Khalaism will infuse itself into your soul.

«NOTABLE FIGURES OF KHALAISM»

Khalaist: Khalaist, in their basic sense, are the people who have taken on the mark of Khalaism and are devoted to the religion. These people are the front lines of Khalaism and often serve as a brotherhood. They are capable of spreading Khalaism, but aren't true enforcer of it. Most members of Khalaism aren't required to move pass this point.

Priestess/Priest: A Priestess or Priest of Khalaism is considered one with authrioity within the religion. To be qualified for one, there are a few things you need to be able to do. You need to PROPERLY spread the message of Khalaism and convert people of their own freewill. You must also have a STRONG understanding of Khalaism's practices and know them by heart. They are also authorized to create their own temples and churches in the name of Khalaism.

ACTIVE KHALAISM PRIEST/PRIESTESS:

Magistra/Magister: Magistra's and Magister's are considered be the movers and shakers of the Khalaism religion. They often help choose new Priest and Priestess's, regulate churches within a specific dimension and can create their own mega churches and lead large Khalaism followers. In order to become a Magistra, you must receive special permission from a Maga or be chosen by one of the divine themselves. As your word is very strong. Maga's are even capable of controlling portions of Hell itself in some cases.

ACTIVE MAGISTRA/MAGISTER'S:

Maga: The Maga is the highest one can go without ascending to the ranks of Goddess's and God's. Essentially, Maga are Holy Children within the faction of Khalaism. They all hold special pieces of mother Khala and father Deveta within them. So, must of her direct children are in this circle. However, it is possible for them to grace others with pieces of this sacred flesh. They must ensure that the person will represent the utmost values of Khalaism and the flesh of Khala or Deveta itself must accept the host. Apart from that, Maga's have the highest authority, status and pull in the group bar from Khala and Deveta themselves.
