Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

The atmosphere went a-shuddering with the sound of the sound barrier being broken, a shockwave thrummed through the environment of a broken wasteland. The expanse was tan and brown and every shade in between, dry cracked earth surmising the entire domain. The only excuses for plantlife were the long dead trees devoid of any greenery; they were but wooden formation standing few and far between each other on the hopeless terrain. The only element that consistently brought life to this area was the incessant wind, highlighted by the wisps of dust that whirled around. Civilization was miles upon miles off from this location, as nothing could be seen on any horizon. However, this constant barren wasteland would finally know change, as the loud crack pervaded throughout. A masculine adult figure hurtled from the cloudless skies back down to the desolate flats like a meteor intending to find an impact, obviously beyond the speed limit of sound. Head first his body would smash into the earthen ground, and thus create an eruption of dust and dirt hundreds of times larger than his size. These lands were flat because of the high speed winds, eroding and shaping the terrain like clay. However, the crater caused by this 'projectile' would take months or even years to cover up. Just the cloud of dust would not be blown away by the wind for several minutes, just showing the scale of the impact that had just occured.
Meanwhile, the source of this discord would be floating in the air about a kilometer away, still in the stance she was in the moment she made the attack. One leg was bent under her while the other was fully extended behind her; one arm cocked back while the other was fully outstretched at the apex of her punch. Violet hair whipped violently around behind her head, only barely contained in a ponytail. Amber eyes, a petite nose, a great wide toothy smile; all features found on the dark-skinned woman's face. She wore her sleeveless, backless black uniform, allowing the healthy feminine skin of her arms, back, and sides to show. Though the rest of her body was clothed by the full-body uniform that fitted well to her form. She had tan bands wrapped around her arms, and similarly-colored shoes to wear, but that pretty much made up her apparel. This was the woman who was none other than Yoruichi Shihouin, the Goddess of Flash. And she had just strong-armed a long-blonde-haired male back down to Earth out of instinctive dislike. As anyone who knew her could tell, she was aligned with the family of cats. The man she had attacked, however, was aligned with the mutts. This was unacceptable! In the age-old struggle between the two species, Yoruichi would today represent the felines in this single battle. She would quickly Flash Step the kilometer-long distance between the two, now appearing just outside the cloud of dust that had recently been created. With crossed arms she overlooked the crater, knowing full well he was still down there and alive.

Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

The Moon Iramasha's eyes began to widen as he was shot straight towards the ground, his mouth clearly opened wide. "VOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooi!" He let out as his gravity completely shifted, as he shot downwards, his weight increasing massively. "IF I'M GOIGN TO GO DOWN! VOI!" he yelled out, as his body slammed down into the ground as hard as physically possible, the sound barrier long broken as his gravity increased by over 1,000 times due to the two large blades on his back, as he slammed into the ground, the impact blowing the sand away as he shot further and further into the ground, pushing away metals of all kinds and varieties as he shot further and further down into the earth, before he suddenly realized that everything was liquid around him.
"V-Voi?" He asked, as bubbles began leaving his mouth. He looked all around him, seeing that everything was red. "Voi... Red... I SEE... SO MUCH... RED! CA-H-AH-AH-AHA-HA-HA-A-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!" He let out, throwing his head back as he opened his mouth wide. As he did so, the lava all began shooting towards his mouth. His resistance was enough so that he wasn't burnt by the lava, but he quickly absorbed it into his body, thousands of gallons of the absolutely massive mantle shooting into him and still growing as the Nature Iramasha drank in more and more, his clothing completely burned away by the fires around him as at last, the mantle drained and reflowing around him, he threw his arms above him.
He let out, as from his mouth and quikcly burning the air around him was an absolutely massive amount of Blast energy. This energy, black and color and looking like flames, didn't actually burn antyhign. Rather, they used friction against everything they touched, using it to rip them to shreds. Well, the blast which left the mouth of Mjesec Võrgukliendid was absolutely massive in power, as it shot completely through the hole that had been made. However, this was no ordinary attack; this was in the form of a Moon Dragonslayer attack, as the very air and stone walls around the Blast were pushed against by so much intense friction that fire was lit all around the edges of the absolutely massive blast, as it covered all the way from inside the massive crater Moonie's body had made, as it finally reached the lip of the crater/hole.
Yoruichi would see some black thing beneath her, even through the massive cloud of dust and smoke. While normally it would have taken the wind several minutes to eliminate this dust, it was no match whatsoever for the colossal amount of Blast which the Moon Iramasha had fired out, which was over five miles in length alone as it finally blasted out of the crater, cracks shooting all through the crater as it was rubbed into merely dust and then used as fuel for the Blast as it grew even stronger, before it began shooting upwards and upwards towards the Shinigami.
it was only moving at about two hundred miles per hour. However, there was still a massive chance that it was going to be a problem for Yoruichi. Why? The sheer size of it. As it left the ground, literally miles all around the Moon Iramasha were left in a massive wave of devastation as a crater even bigger then the ones normally formed by the force of Colin's Ressercion release was created all around the battlefield, leaving a simply city-sized crater in the ground. It did not simply stay on the ground; it also rose up into the air, creating the massive amount of area as it shot up into the air where Yourichi was, attempting to catch her and badly burn her from the sheer amount of force that was being released from the Blast, as well as tearing at her with the massive amounts of frictino and burning her with the fire, leaving an absolutely massive amount of devastation in its wake.
The Moon Iramasha was smiling, laughing his head off as he rose out of the absolutely massive crater he had created, a mere speck of dust in comparison to its sheer size. His red-ringed eyes were jovially moving inside of his skull, his hands on either side of his body as he continued to laugh, but he realized there was a problem. And that problem was that his face had melted off, and was bleeding. "Voi... This is a problem." He decided, the blood running down his body as his energy recovered his face, restoring it to its normal form once again as he moved one side of his head to the side, cracking his neck. "Next time, Voi, DON'T DIP ME IN SUCH A HOT BATH! CA-HA!" He roared back at her, crouching forwards with both of his blades.
He realized that she was insanely fast; there wasn't a whole lot he could do about that except for one thing. "Wait for it..."uttered to himself, the words echoing across the plains that Moonie had made. However, that wasn't the kind of wait that Moonie was thinking about. He was thinking about the massive amount of weight that was currently his body thanks to the two swords in his hands. He felt their handles, smiling as the weight was suddenly lifted from him. However, everything within a twenty foot radius of the Moon God would be able to feel it as suddenly, without warning as they entered that field, they would feel that their body would become suddenly much, much heavier then normal, to the point where they would have to strain themselves just to move a muscle.
"VOI! MY SWORDS ARE THE BEST OF ALL THE NATURE IRAMASHA!" He yelled delusively. NOt that moonie could even spell that word, really. However, that was not the point as he began to acclerating his breathing, throwing out one hand in front of himself. As he did so, a massive amount of Blast energy shot from his hands, before completely surrounding around himself. "VOI!" He shouted, as his body began shaking and shivering as it released the power of his forms, accelerating back to what it should have been before he was promptly kicked in the face.
The energy around him was roughly fifty percent of his total power; this was the power of his Strike Form. The Strike Form of Moonie enabled his blast armor, as well as allowing him the ability to Moon walk and use his blast in the form of pre-named techniques. However, the main asset of it was allowing him access to more of his massive stores of energy, as was exemplified with the massive attack he let out of the ground earlier. The fight was literally beginning to heat up as Moonie's body was shaking with anticipation, his body ready for assault from any angles...

The woman's clothing was tight enough around her that it did not flap in the wind; yet as she waited to see what the doggy was going to do next, her hair most certainly would catch the flow and wave around wildly. That was currently the only thing moving as Yoruichi stood upon the air as though a platform was below her. Her eyes looked down at the dust cloud below for any indication of movement, so that she could act accordingly. She knew he was still alive down there, so what was he planning? Yoruichi uncrossed her arms slowly and cocked back her fist, prepared to blow away this film of smog to get a clear look at what was going on, but it was unnecessary. Yoruichi's eyes widened as within the tan cloud came an even darker black that was enigmatically at the same time... luminous. In less than a fraction of a second, the darkness suddenly encompassed her field of vision and threatened to consume her as it erupted out of the crust in a several mile-wide plume of atramentous flame. Still, the fact that Yoruichi noticed it was all that it required to escape the claws of the attack, and that was a testament to the woman's speed. Her form would vanish from view as visible light could no longer keep up with her speed well enough to reflect off of her and create an image of her. All that was left in her wake was a vacuum of space that quickly compensated for its void by sucking the air around it within with a sonorous crack, a small detail squandered by the colossal scale of Moonie's attack. Yoruichi was flying sky high and beyond, hundreds of miles up into the atmosphere until the sheer pressure was pounding so hard against the woman's chest that it felt like she was being run over by a steam roller. The funny thing was... that hardly even hurt her.
At the turn of a dime, Yoruichi's mind-numbing speeds ceased and she froze high in the Exosphere; much higher than the clouds, higher than the blue sky, almost high enough to touch the infinite darkness of outer space. There was no air to breathe... it was so hot, so blaringly hot... it hurt her eyes to even have the sun in her peripheral vision... and yet... The black void known as space would be littered with stars of all sizes and shapes. There were so many more than what you could ever see on the ground, almost filling the darkness up with their sparkling light. Beautiful, Yoruichi thought to herself as her amber hues looked over the twinkling void. Some of her other senses were tingling in the same type of euphoria her eyes were; her sense of gravity may have failed her, but the loss of the weight brought a strange feeling that seemed to loosen up her tensions with ease. No sound would erupt to break the tranquil quietness, and that fact was pleasing. She could not breathe, but she did not need to for the time being, as she wasn't planning on staying long. At the apex of her leap, she would being to flip head over heels in an agonizingly slow fashion, the world turning upside down for a moment. Earth came back into her vision, and she could see Moonie's attack down there. The sable bonfire broke through the cloud layer for Yoruichi's viewing pleasure, which she would smile to. Yet it simply did not have the range to reach her up here. The gentle tug of gravity finally began showing as she would begin descending—a centimeter a second—by the will of Earth's magnitude alone. By itself, the force would not bring her down to the ground for months, and thus it would be Yoruichi's own power that would bring her back to the fight. The only thing stopping her was the fire, and she would wait until most of it subsided.
A chilled breath of air escaped her mouth, her eyes intent on the point in which the Moonie's fire had created a massive hole in the clouds. The inferno was incredibly powerful, able to persist even in a lifeless wasteland such as that they fought in, but with the initial blast fired away, she felt safe enough to plunge back into the fray. Still upside down, she brought her right fist into her left palm, clasping them together before cracking her knuckles. Then, she pulled that fist back in preparation for the punch haymaker to end all haymakers. Then, as if there was a surface above Yoruichi to push off from, she tapped her foot back and suddenly vanished once more. She would bring about a revelation to Moonie, showing him that she had not been so easily annihilated, and she would do it with flair. She rocketed down back through the layers of the atmosphere one by one: Ionosphere, Mesosphere, Stratosphere, and Troposphere. Her nerve impulses were racing around her body at light speeds like it was nobody's business, barely matching the peerless velocity she had achieved so that she could see where she was going. As soon as Moonie's body came into view her pupils locked onto him with lethal intent, seeing him with an increased level of spiritual power. Her smile only widened up until her teeth were showing, and she shouted, "Shunko!" yet it was not even possible for the sound of it would reach Moonie before her fist did. The one thing he had going for him in the end only empowered Yoruichi, and that was the sudden increase of gravity by one-hundred times when she entered within his field of manipulation. All comprehension would go out the window soon, as the dark-skinned woman entered melee range of her target, and her fist shot forth.
It is simply too difficult to understand the magnitude of Yoruichi's direct blow, and trying to will simply blow your mind. Therefore, it is best to describe the indirect forces at work here, and from there you may imagine the scale of this attack: The radius of Moonie's initial Blast attack was immediately consumed by the shockwave resulting from the attack, as if it were near instant. The molten scorched land simply became nothingness as the kinetic blast eradicated it into fine dust and sent it hurling away. Then in the following several seconds the massive shockwave would expand, carrying along with it enough force to surpass modern nuclear bombs. What was simply a flat landscape limited in decoration would become the world's largest and deepest pit. The hole created in the cloud layer would expand even further, and the atmosphere above it would be ruptured as the forces reached dozens of miles upwards, erratically distorting light in the process. The funny thing was, that was only the initial shockwave. Immediately following came an electrical blast that transformed the area of the crater into a superheated sphere of plasma; it was like stepping into the sun. So, as one would try now to comprehend the sheer scale of the attack, its perpetrator would be seen as a glowing yellowish figure flipping high into the air as the explosions seemed to be calming down. Yoruichi seemed to be unscathed by the destruction of her own making, be that as it was outward force birthed, not inward—Flash Cry was enough to protect her from the consequences of her own actions. Still, after the initial contact should her high-speed attack connect, she would not feel anything, including what happened to Moonie afterwards. She took the liberty to look around, noticing that the black flames were now erased from the field, alongside a majority of the land. Her attack had really dug through the crust and if she could see through the debris and smoke at the epicenter of her attack, she might even see it having blown through the mantle. Still, the crust was pretty thick, so maybe not. The woman would release Shunko, and cross her arms once more, returning to the same position she was in before this mess.
She was practically purring with contentment.

The Moon Iramasha may not have been the studious thing alive, but there was one thing that he knew; and that was when someone tried messing with space, his very freaking element. ...Voi, did I bring that with me? He wondered, turning his head slightly as he waited for her to come back down, feeling the shift of the immensely tiny jewel that the Moon Iramasha had jammed deep within the top of his head. There it is… Voi… but will I use it? He wondered to himself, looking back up again as his very powerful eyes found her as she began coming back down again.
Now, it was curious to ask; how in the hell could he possibly have seen her, when her body was moving the way it was? That was quite simple; she had quite a large amount of after burn going on around her body, from moving through the different layers of the earth. It was quite Ironic; even by escaping Moonie's assaults, she ended up being assaulted by a much lighter version of them as her body heated up from the massive friction used form going back into the atmosphere.
"Voi. Come at me." he said simply, his gaze staring straight to where the Shingiami's eyes were, almost ominously. There was obviously no way that he could see her; and yet they were staring right at her, unblinking as she approached at such massive speed. He honestly couldn't see her; but that didn't mean that a dog so easily lost its toy.
As the lightning turned on, he smiled, excited. "…" He didn't even respond at first, blinking as he looked down at his chest, where she had firmly planted her attack. "Voi...Where'd my chest go?" Was all he could ask, as the massive mount of force passed straight through his chest in a gigantic arc of lightning, creating a massive hole in his chest, ripping up his pectorals, as he was forced to wince, quaking and shivering as his body fell back into the massive amounts of force and destruction that was going on below him, not taking damage from the field effects f the attack but feeling it horribly as drop after drop of his extremely valuable blood poured out of him.
However, that was not the problem for Moonie, even as he righted himself, feeling that his blast had been dispersed. "…" He was silent, his head staring at the ground, his body standing firmly on it as he gazed down upon it, his massive amounts of hair shading his gaze from view, as he continued to shiver, the blood around his body finally congealing and forming back together again as his chest reappeared, before he looked back up at her. "VOI! VOI VOI VOI!!!" He called out, an absolutely massive smile of sheer happiness on his face as he looked upa t her…
As a pair of dog's ears popped up out of his head.
Meanwhile, a bushy tail shot out from his backside, wagging back and forth as he looked up at her, before looking down again, his tail wagging as he gripped his hairline and slowly began stepping forwards. However, Yoruichi's mind would soon be immensely boggled; for he was not moving forwards. He was going backwards! It was impossible! Simply astronomical! His feet were clearly moving forwards… and yet somehow HIS BODY WAS FLOWING BACKWARDS, LIKE HE WAS WALKING THAT WAY! Moonie knew it was for more then just show as his body moved two steps back, before he completely vanished.
The moon far behind Yoruichi began to shine brightly, as if something all around the area was changed. Suddenly, Yoruichi would realize that the light that was shining on her from the moon was no longer doing so anymore. "VOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOI!!!!!" The roar came from behind her, as Moonie's right hand was lifted high above his head.
He yelled out, as suddenly from his hand, which had been glowing an absolutely massive amount of black energy, a massive energy construct shot out. It was so large that it quickly enveloped the Moon behind its God, who then smiled down at her. "Voi… I'M REALLY ENJOYING THIS." He told her, as suddenly bits and pieces from the mass behind his head began tearing themselves off, shooting down towards Yoruichi as suddenly hundreds and thousands of tiny explosions shot downwards at the Flash Goddess, even as Moonie threw his hands back.
"However, VOI! I am really f#cking slow! Sorry, BUT I'M GOING TO HAVE TO SMOKE YOU OUT!!" He explained straight to her face, as suddenly the blasts all shot down towards her, and all around her, and even out around there, before suddenly all the tiny bits and pieces exploded. Now, if these were normal pieces of chaos energy, that would have been one thing. However, there was something… unusual about these particular bits. The unusualness would soon become clear to Yoruichi as not only did each tiny piece, only about a foot in radius, exploded into over two hundred feet of massive destruction, but the sudden gravity that quickly followed along with it, as every single bit began tugging at Yoruichi, making it so that going forwards, all paths led back to the Moon God.
Her speed would become sharply reduced in every direction away from Moonie, as Moonie became her center of gravity. The blasts would rip at her, attempting to tear her very flesh from her bones. "VOI! GO ON! USE THAT THUNDER THING AGAIN! VOOOOOOOOOI!" He yelled at her, excited, his tail wagging furiously behind himself in his nudity, as he had already lost all his clothes in the massive amounts of fire from the Mantle.
"NOW!" He yelled out, as his natural gravity became zero, the blades on his back triggering as he shot himself forwards towards Yoruichi, shooting down beside her as his right fist shot forwards. "MOON GOD'S KAGUTSUCHI!!!!" He cried out loudly, as for two hundred feet around his body a massive amount of Blast shot out, completely covering all around his body and projecting outwards. However, this was not like the other blasts; this one's blast did not dissipate. I t remained where it was, its friction attempting to rub and tear at Yoruichi from all over, even as she was still being dragged by the Gravity.
However, this was not all the Moon God was doing. The swords on his back triggered once again, even as the gravity she felt going towards him became immensely increased, even as he attempted to approach her. "MOON SMASH!!" He cried out, his right fist shooting straight for Yoruichi's ribcage. If it hit, it would become plainly obvious what was going on; the sheer amounts of force would smash into Yoruichi's body, damaging it. However, that was not all that would happen. The shockwaves would get to her if it hit, shockwaves that were even affecting the air behind Moonie's fist from the sheer AMOUNTS of force behind the Moon God's attack.
However, he was not done yet. "VOI! MOON GOD'S DANCE!" He cried out, as his left foot suddenly shot out from underneath himself, going for Yoruichi's chest. He wasn't aiming; the Moon God did not simply "aim". Even as he spun around, though, something weird happened as his left knuckle shot out, shooting right for her stomach. Gravity wasn't affecting him right now; as such he could move however he wished through the air, even as he suddenly massively increased the weight in his right foot. "VOI! MOON GOD'S GUILLOTINE!!!" He finished, as the massive amounts of force shot towards Yoruichi, the giant ball of flame still around them, the large amounts of Gravity still trying to pull her towards him, and Moonie's hair flying about absolutely EVERYWHERE, his red eyes jovial and laughing as his tail wagged, his mouth letting out laugh after ecstatic laugh, completely consumed in the joy of the battle and the high that went along with such a good fight.

The blinding flash began as a small orb, much like a projection of the sun that hung in the sky, except it spawned on the very ground of the earth to quickly disillusion such a misconception. It quickly grew, rolling out in a tsunami-like wave of energy as it ate up everything in the space surrounding it—the oxygen, the terrain, the dead boscage, and the very fabric of space and time—growing vast and appearing to fill up the entirety of the wasteland biome hosting it, horizon to horizon. The sound finally followed, thrumming through the air as a low sub-sonic rumble that pained the ears despite its frequency. It was bone-rattling, audible even to the deaf as it shook their very frame through their body. It was like the very essence of destruction was screaming loud in the ears of reality, its voice overwhelming and unquenchable as it only seemed to increase in turbulence. But all things came to an end, and just as it seemed the plane couldn't handle the presence of the fulmination, its fury would reach apex and begin its dissipation. Yoruichi used the impact as a springboard, launching herself upward outside the inner core of the explosion, back into the sky where she could relax for a moment. Yeah, she didn't exactly lighten the force behind that one. Though her fist impacted something and stopped, she was left without the satisfaction of resistance, and she would bring her right hand up to view to question it with her eyes, quite accusingly. It was beset in golden fire that licked her skin with pin and needle sensations, as erratic bolts of electricity jumped off of the body and fizzled into the air. Flash Cry was the name of this technique; this armor of lightning. Yoruichi could feel the currents energy racing and shifting through her body, as it also swathed around her figure with cackling discord. It was deceptively spasmodic, lightning unchained by the law of current or of grounding; yet the Flash Goddess knew otherwise. The technique had been mastered several decades ago, bending to the woman's will and servant to master, weapon to a weilder. The pesky feral nature of the beast always used to shred the woman's precious fabrics when brought to life, which grew more and more annoying the fonder she grew into her signature orange jacket; she always had to purchase a new one. Now while her victim was not in her immediate sights, the aegis was dispersed into sparks of light, returning Yoruichi's visage to normal. The spiritual pressure in the area dramatically decreased as a result.
The canine opposed to her had disappeared into the smoke created by her attack, out of view. His Reiatsu, however, persisted. It had quieted, but Yoruichi had culminated her ability to sense spiritual pressure in her time as the Onmitsukido's Commander, and was now recultivating the valuable skill after having taken her position back. So yes, the tyke was alive, but to what extent? Yoruichi, growing tired of the wait, would groan as she began to step forward. It was as if she descended stairs, as each step brought her lower towards the dusty brume. Walking on air it was, with reishi becoming an invisible path below her feet. Her expression was placid, but her eyes deviated with their vigilant scouring, darting back and forth within their sockets. They were adjusting, dilating as the haze became more of a hindrance. Decidedly, her movements slowed and her senses became cautious. There were sounds: The harsh tirade of winds pressured upon these wasted lands, working slowly to clear the cloud of dust. There were also the distant splinterings of rock that Yoruichi figured were the sides of the crater still falling down into the grand earthen depression—it was disconcerting to hear the echoes of the cascades, but not be able to see the sources for her own eyes. Truth be told, she was more worried about this Moonie child, and whether or not the displacements were of his doing. She would continue into the depths, masking her usually grandiose spiritual pressure with ease... another skill acquired as an assassin. She couldn't see him still, he probably couldn't see her either; time was bided away until the smoke finally became clear enough, and oh were there sights to see. It would appear she had moved rather deeply into the colossal crater, and it was to her pleasant surprise to heed the blazing red sea far below her at the base of the chasm, a testament to her strength. The molten lava of the mantle stared back into her, surprisingly bright despite her distance from it. The heat seemed to hit her in a wave as the smoke gave way to it, and the air simmered intensely. Still, Yoruichi appeared to be rather unphased by the natural fever, at most breaking out a couple sweat drops upon her brow.
Her interest was caught by the figure in front of and below her by a couple hundred meters, paling in contrast to the small lake of fire that served as his backdrop from this vantage. He seemed inanimate, yet remained elevated by his own power; floating. She saw the extent of her damage by the crimson light of the mantle cast upon him... and also through him. A ragged hole now took the place of his chest, illustrating for her the area of the body her fist had graced. If she squinted, she could just barely see the small waterfall of blood falling from his body and into the magma below, where it would be vaporized instantly. Though, with those keen eyes it didn't take long to note the brazen nakedness of her opponent—her brow rose as she took in his features, slurping them in. Admittedly his unadorned body was bulging with muscles, a note of attractiveness she just had to appreciate. When her gaze began to fall a little too low, she was brought out of her study by the revelation of the mongrel ears that now protruded from his blonde hair. The image was immediately ruined, as Moonie became screaming that word again, reminding her of the incessant howling she had heard every night at Urahara Shouten. Stupid dogs, she thought internally as her face set in a scowl. Any appeal she had quickly disappeared, her hatred of the canine race pushing to the front of her mind. And then she would shift expressions, an evil smirk plastered over her lips. She was truly going to enjoy crippling this mutt. Fights had always been entertaining for the dark-skinned warrior, but the bittersweet satisfaction of trampling this specific person intensified the pleasure. Unthinkingly, Yoruichi's tongue slipped out of its cage and licked her lips, as if the most delicious meal had just arrived for her on a silver platter.
Moonie performed a ridiculous show, bringing his hand up to his head and procuring a disturbing dance move. It appeared pointless, and Yoruichi's limbs were bending in preparation to blast off and attack him, but that plan would be squashed as his form disappeared. Her eyes widened, confusion dawning for a slight moment. Shunpo? Yes, in a way. I see it now. His reiatsu was back in the air, obvious and blunt. Yoruichi quickly turned around and craned her neck up to face him, finding him high above and in the process of charging his signature energies into the palm of his hand. With a loud shout of what she presumed to be the name of his technique, an umbral globe practically exploded out of his hand and quickly encompassed most of the sky still visible from within the crater. He was yelling a lot, and the Flash Goddess was simply allowing him to do so. Every second past with the already gargantuan sphere increasing in size, and even though she always thought it would stop, it continued to defy her expectations. Oddly though, this fact only widened the Shihouin's smile. By the time the attack was launched, she was showing teeth in glee. The orb ruptured, one blast becoming an arsenel that quickly trained its way down to the woman. Without so much as a blink the woman would bring her arms away from her sides and into position; one palm outstretched in front of her while the other reached in the opposite direction. It seemed so slow to her—the blasts—like a spectacle she could watch. The dark missiles now completely blotted out the sky as they came ever closer, and finally Yoruichi would deign to act. Kicking off of the air as though there were flooring to plant her toes in, she threw herself into a high-speed spin and blurred the colors of her body. She looked like a top with her limbs revolving around like that, and the purpose would soon become clear. Yoruichi's goldenrod reiatsu streamed out of her open palms, quickly forming a spiraling dome around her that blocked her from view. It was storming, becoming larger and larger as more spiritual energy was expelled. It was naught but a second before the first bang sounded, clashing with the storm front...
With one domino falling, the rest lined up would soon follow.
Yoruichi's dome quickly became encompassed in the explosive darkness, a fitting cacophony sounding, and yet the woman herself remained untouched as she wildly spun around. The only qualm she had was pertaining to the sheer amount of explosions needing to be batted away by her Heavenly Spin technique, as the constant revolution was beginning to make her light-headed; dizzy from motion. In the middle of all the chaos, she could barely hear the bellowed demand of her enemy: "Voi! Go on! Use that thunder thing again! Voooooooooi!" a bid that only made the woman grin haughtily. He wanted it? He'd get it, all right. The reiryoku of prolonged attack was now diminishing, signaling the draw to its end. Figuring it was safe, she would plant her foot down with vicious force, stopping her rotation on a dime. The sudden and wild halt of her Heavenly Spin caused the dome to burst, yet with a grandiose degree of flair. The excess energy thundered outwards, pushing away the hostile explosions of her enemy and creating a clear shot at the being in question. The comet of black fire was new, but it would hardly bother the woman as she directed her focus to the spiritual pressence within. "As you wish, mutt!" she screamed back as her form suddenly burst into voltaic light, rupturing space for a slight moment before the dimensional fabric repaired itself. A surge of electricity burst from her as she shot forward like a missle, charging head-first into the black Sun with her right fist spearheading the flight. She was yelling at the top of her lungs, not screeching in a shrilled high pitch, but now bellowing from the base of her throat either—the importance was emphasized on the volume of the Shihouin's cry. It was so heroic!
She was blind, finding it difficult to see where she was going in the ebon fire. She trusted her senses, however, relying specifically on her ability to detect the source of a Reiatsu in order to accurately land her attack. A violet ribbon lead the way, growing more vibrant in color the seemingly less distant Moonie became. It was a longer distance than she had percieved from the outside of the ball, and the heat was starting to get to her a little. Her body was set alight with warmth, her blood boiling; it felt like she was on fire despite the dense layer of her Flash Cry keeping the blaze at bay. Just as she was beginning to think that she had been mislead by the spirit ribbon, she would feel it... though what she felt was less than pleasant. She felt her knuckles grinding into the soft flesh of something, assuming it to be his face unless he wasn't upright for some reason. However, that half of the situation granted little comfort to her when she felt a blunt pressure against her chest, knocking the wind out of her gaping mouth. Her attack would have had similarly catastrophic force to her first punch behind it as it propelled into his face, and yet the biting blow she recieved in return would lessen things and not allow the same scale of damage as before. She was barely able to register that Moonie had thrown a punch himself, before eventually she was knocked away at ferocious speeds. The luminous Goddess plummeted headfirst towards one of the walls of the crater lying dangerously close to the sea of lava—she assumed that Moonie would find himself in the same situation as he rocketed upward by the force of her blow. The advantage Yoruichi felt she possesed, however, was superior skill. Though the current of her trajectory was strong, she was able to right herself and slow her descent with reverse flight just in time to land with feather light feet upon the steaming rock. The defense of Shunko kept her shoes from lighting on fire as she stood sideways on the wall, eyes seeking her quarry. The kid was still swathed in flames, but she knew she could sense him better now; she knew where he was in that mass of shadows.
Yoruichi brought her arms up toward her target, her right arm fully extended as her left hand clasped around the elbow to steady it. Her right hand made a gun—two fingers pointed out as a makeshift barrel, with her thumb stuck upward to represent the hammer. With a deep inhale, the tips of her fingers flashed, and suddenly the wastelands would brighten for an infinitisemal period. With a explosive crack announcing it's presence, a lance of pure brilliance streaked through the sky at staggering speeds as it sought Moonie's frame. It coveted his neck, aching to consume it with overflowing electrical energy. The bolt seemed so surefire at such a speed, equaling the near-instantaneous travel of its natural embodiment; a strike of lightning. As the flash subsided with a calming finality, the air would deeply rumble in musing—a thunderous applause. This was the point in which Yoruichi exhaled that pent up breath, dropping her arms and floating off of the walls of the crater side. She couldn't witness the fruits of her labor just yet, with the ball of black fire still encompassing the youngling. But, hopefully, she could relax. Now she truly was sweating, as she could hear the sizzling evaporation of her perspiration, becoming steam as soon as it left her body. Once again, the electrical apparel of her Shunko dissipated into a few small traces of lightning before silencing completely. The ache set in fully then, pulsating through her chest and causing the woman to flinch. Damn, he packs a punch, even in that state. She was assured nothing was broken or ruptured, but it still hurt like hell. If she could help it, she wouldn't let him catch her again; she was the Goddess of Flash for a reason. For now, she would simply float idly again, allowing some of her sweat to ebb from her skin and her to come to terms with the minor injury she had received.
Gah, it's hot! Yoruichi complained internally.

Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

"VOOOOOOOOOOOI!"
Moonie let out as Yoruichi's punch hit him, watching her being sent flying from his own, his head snapping back form the attack. However, there was still a definite smile on his face as her attack struck, his back arching from the blow as his gravitational mass suddenly increased exponentially, becoming much too heavy to be blown away. In addition, the shunko hit him hard alright, causing his blast to be blown away from his face. However, there was something different then the last one; Moonie's body remained completely intact.
A burst of Blast rumble out from himself quietly around him from the punch, dispersing as it was blown away. The Moon God had been paying very close attention to what had happened in each of his attacks against the cat; especially when she had used that glowing golden orb thingy. The Blast had treated it like it treated all reiatsu's that it encountered; by shredding it. Apparently, Yoruichi still did not understand the true power of Moonie's flames, something that he knew she was going to regret if she remained unprepared. Moonie's body calmed down a little from the massive blast, his dog's tail sliding out and wagging slightly back and forth as he thought of a way to reply to the immense challenge he had been given by this woman.
"Voi, what the hell are you clothes made out of?" He yelled down, even as his body descended down from the smoke, something he obviously shouldn't have been able to done so quickly if he had been sent flying by the attack. Granted, Moonie was making no sudden movements; the shockwaves of what she had done were still roaring through his body, making it hard to move, even though the only sign of him having been struck was a blackening bruise on his newly reformed chest. "They should have been destroyed." He explained simply, a bewildered look on his face. He didn't imagine having hit her; he could easily feel the weight of her beneath his fist, and he had to admit, the resistance he felt was kind of pathetic. But, he understood that was not the appeal to the cat; rather, her appeal was the fact that even though she obtained a different realm of skill from the Moon God, she kept the mentality of a brawler.
That's what Moonie would have thought, anyway, if he was capable of such thought. However, right now all he could think about was wondering how the f#ck his Blast hadn't ripped her clothing to shreds when his fist had come into contact with her, and how he liked fighting her. Speaking of which, he quickly reached behind his back, gripping onto his blades, swinging them in front of himself. "VOI!" He cried back in defiance, even as he felt the bolt slam against his blades, pushing his body back even further. The problem was that once again, he barely moved from the incredible impact he was given. "VOI! DID YOU REALLY THINK I'M JUST GOING TO TAKE ANYTHING? I JUST WANTED TO GET A FEEL FOR YOU BEFORE." He explained simply, the smile on his face ever widening as he threw his blades to either side of himself, the weight on the bolt increasing immensely as it was knocked to the side, smashing into a part of the crater and creating a massive cave from the ensuing explosion. Whether the explosion was caused by the sheer amount of force Moonie was exerting, or whether it was only the traits of the spear, only Yoruichi would know.
The Moon God, for his piece, was waiting for only a moment for the shocks roaring through his body once more to subside. "Voi… Voi… it's hot… Thank James' God I don't have clothes on…" He breathed out, before suddenly arching his back, feeling ready to fight again. As this change came over him, his breathing began to rapidly accelerate; his eyes closing before shooting wide open, the smile wide on his face as his energy roared around him, Nature Energy, to be exact. What was that trick the boss taught me..? He thought to himself, closing his eyes as suddenly Nature Energy overcame his entire bodily presence, as without warning his spirit ribbon's color changed.
The amount of Reiatsu in a Nature Iramasha's body is next to nothing; the mere fact that Yoruichi had been able to find the Moon God using his was a testament to this. However, now the ribbon's color changed, as it quickly became… black. Moonie's eyes opened once again, not really sure what that had done. He just knew that James had said that if he ever went up against someone REALLY fast, he should use that. The change was merely mental; causing Moonie's Blast Energy to overcome every part of himself, completely overwhelming the Reiatsu part to the point where Reiatsu was cleansed from his body, leaving only the Blast and Chaos Energy which made up his skin. "VOOOOOOOOI!" He cried out, throwing his head forwards this time as he threw his hands out.
From one hand a massive amount of Blast began to flow, even as Moonie chucked out his other hand. From that hand, a massive amount of weird, amorphous purple energy appeared, seemingly harmless in nature. However, this energy shot right around Yoruichi, even as it also shot up into the air. It began to fill up the entire crater in just a few moments; while it was an extremely large volume, the energy itself was quite light in mass and energy use, so Moonie hardly expend a thing to fill up this amount. "Voi… NOW, MOON GOD'S PET DOGGY!" He yelled out, as from his raised right hand, a shot of Blast began to shoot out, forming the figure of a wolf above his head, staring right at Yoruichi. "What, you thought that Immediately mean I was going to attack?" He asked, a smile on his face. If she ad been getting tripped out by the names of his attacks, she would definitely think he was about to throw one, and if her reactions were any good she'd react to this one as well, even though the name was… weird.
In any case, Moonie was animate again, shaking his head, his large golden locks of hair streaming back ad forth along his bare back as he spoke. "Voi… Why does everyone look at me like a Child? Why does everyone look t me like a child when I could see them as but toddlers…" He wondered, slightly sad as his doggy wrapped itself around hi, the blast covering around his body from it, even as the Gravity was suddenly triggered. Without warning, Yoruichi's gravity would become massively increased; as long as she was within the crater still, she would suddenly find that her entire body was suddenly not working right. This is because Moonie was designating Yoruichi's stomach as the universal point of gravity for anything enveloped in his giant field of gravity. And what was enveloped by this field? Well, that would the entire crater that Yoruichi herself had made, and was currently completely surrounded by.
The rocks quickly began breaking off from the massive amount of pressure that Moonie was able to exert in his Strike form, and all began shooting to Yoruichi, attempting to create something that looked kind of like a really, really miniature moon in the center of the rapidly-widening crater, all made possible by Moonie's efforts. "Voi, Boss James told me that I'm almost six... Thousand years old." He got out, holding up his fingers, showing six, then changing it as two hands showed zeros, then one hand only made a zero. "VOI, NO ONE'S SERIOUS IF THEY SEE ME AS A CHILD!!" He roared out, meaning exactly what he said as the wolf that was around him bared its fangs, looking directly at Yoruichi.
He continued on, even as his dog suddenly shot forwards. However, that wasn't the only one; as without warning, several dogs, hundreds, began appearing around Moonie, as he pointed his hand right at the created moon, as the Dogs would all shoot towards either it or Yoruichi. Then, they would instantly begin clawing and biting their way through the rock, wearing it down with the nature of blast as they shot right for Yoruichi. This would make it immensely difficult for Yoruichi to completely escape the wolves if she was ensnared within the pressurized moon; as there was simply not enough room to move in there, pressure pushing rock so that it was all perfectly meshed. Then, the wolves would go right for the center and if they reached it…
Even if she was not within the structure created ,the wolves would still shoot right for her, resulting in the ensuing explosion. They were chaser wolves ,coming at her from different angles; and would only implode when they hit something other then air or rock. "VOI!" Moonie continued, throwing both of his arms to his sides. Now… Let's see if I can do this…. he thought to himself, the smile on his face slowly creeping back onto his look as he reached his right hand back, grabbing onto the handle of Mun. Then, he began leaning forwards, before suddenly throwing out his right arm.
The Moon God had just performed Lai, as Yoruichi would soon be able to tell. Moonie's muscles were pushed to their limit in his strength form, even as from behind him, the shock of his swing was beginning to be felt .The very lava was pushed away like a crater from the air pressure going away from where Moonie's blade had been pressing. In addition, the rock on the increased-size crater began to crack and shatter ,pushed out of the way by the massive attack that was coming from Moonie's swing. What exactly WAS Moonie's swing? Well, the Moon God had just performed Lai, a technique preferred by speed users. Granted, he could only fire it at about the speed of a fast non-powered human, but that was still more then enough for what Moonie was trying to do. His entire body was exerting force out, trying to create the massive attack that he had been envisioning in his minds eye for quite a long time now.
As he released this attack, he could feel that his muscles were strained. His eyes watched as the invisible wave of force shot out of the crater, so intense that Moonie's body wasn't pushed far deep into the mantle ONLY because of the fact that his gravitational control was keeping him in place. The massive wave of force was pushing above and below; treating falling boulders like they were but leaves as it blew them away, and would decide Yoruichi's fate as long as she was within the diameter of the crater. Either she was going to be blasted far up into the air; slammed deep within the lava below; or, if she was up in the air above the crater ,she was going to be blown away.
That was when the Moon God acted. His hands threw themselves back, his eyes narrowing as he tracked down Yoruichi's location, before suddenly clawing down with both hands, as a stream of Blast began to shoot from his legs. "VOOOOOOOOOOOOI!!" His lungs released, as the massive amount of blast below him suddenly lit on fire from the immense amount of friction, as Moonie pressed his feet against the reaction below him, hard. The immense amount of resistance produced from the force was a propulsion; one which Moonie was striving to use as he leaned forwards, shooting strait for Yoruichi's location as he held his arms in front of himself, as if he were defending himself from an attack.
However, this was not the reason for Moonie's blockage. If Yoruichi were to hit him right there, it would be very convenient, but at present there was no threats which Moonie had to worry about actively. Instead, he was merely going to fire off his attack. From his back, a massive amount of energy began to stir, before without warning a massive… SOMETHING appeared behind Moonie. Hundreds of rods shot out from his back, forming a massive amount of rods behind himself. A rod of circles appeared around the bars, as Moonie began shooting straight for Yoruichi. Without warning, the massive structure on his back began to close down, shooting all around the Nature Iramasha as more rings appeared around it suddenly, before suddenly he was right in front of Yoruichi once again.
Picture only used for reference.
He yelled out, as his attack would finally become identifiable, If Yoruichi thought about it. He seemed as if he was Buddha ,but with black flames instead of rings of light behind him. Moonie had no idea what exactly the image was supposed to be; he just knew that it looked like it could be a great tool and was related to religion. So, he used a reference to religion. Wasn't that nice of him?
But that wasn't the important part. The important part was what that gigantic thing on his back was doing. It was rapidly closing around from behind Moonie, smashing into his back as a super pressurized amount of Blast appeared before the Moon God. This was not simply a blast zone, however. This zone also initiated immense amounts of Gravity around its rings, reinforcing the magnitude of the Gravity being formed along with Mun and nuM on Moonie's back, exerting enough Gravitational magnification to kill a normal human being, turning their bodies into nothing but mush by simply being in this field.
This isn't what would happen to Yoruichi, but she would have a hard time escaping the Moon God now. That gigantic thing on his back was acting like a net. He could go forever towards Yoruichi, but if she went back, the flames would catch her and use their gravity to try dragging her towards Moonie, allowing him to change directions and close the attack around her. The real reason for this attack was not to be an attack within itself, actually. The purpose of this strike was to make an arena for the fighters .An arena that Moonie was more then ready to partake in. It would force Yoruichi to use her massive amounts of power in close combat, but with the chance of taking things just as easily as she was giving them.
Moonie cried out, as he finally finished his acceleration forwards, the cloud of Blast that was making him accelerate vanishing as he shot at Yoruichi like a motherf#cking comet. This was payback for earlier, as he shot her fist directly towards the Shinigami's face, stopping as he reached it completely, the force of his body staying there just long enough to smack her, hard, before his body would suddenly stop from massively increased gravity, his blast making a huge shockwave behind him as ripples were sent through the purplish-black substance, which was currently covering the two fighters.
He shouted out, not quite through with her yet. His hands reach back, grabbing onto Mun and nuM, holding them at his sides, before shooting forwards once again. "MOON SWALLOW!" He cried out as he threw the blades forwards, curling his body up behind them as he slammed them both down onto Yoruichi, before pushing off of them once again, going spinning as he went flying back. Finally, his body shot out of the massive cloud of Blast that he had created, before it would suddenly become quite clear what the thing actually WAS.
It was a special technique that Moonie had with an actual special effect, different then his normal two energies; it stayed alive after being casted, pressing on her. What this field did was, quite simply, eat up oxygen and carbon. There was no longer any air within the Blast wave. Moonie thought that this would possibly stop Yoruichi's lightning. It was fully possible that Yoruichi would prove him wrong and have it be that her lightning was purely spirit energy based; but even in that case, it was going to make it annoying to have no air to use.
However, Moonie wasn't going to end it like that. His arms threw themselves out, as he was now above from where he had slammed down the Moon God's prayer, spinning around as a massive wave of blast covered around him and behind him, propelling his entire body forwards with friction as he shot up into the air, the Moon God's Prayer completely dissipating roughly five seconds after it had been created as Moonie shot through the airs with his massive swords at his sides, breaking through the cloud cover as he cleared out ALL the dust and all the blast energy from the battlefield, dispelling it with his ascent as he appeared high in the sky above Yoruichi.
He roared out, as he threw out his arms to the side, on in front of him and one behind him, just as Yoruichi had done earlier. However, there was quite a difference this time. What was that difference? Well, that would be the fact that instead of an epic shield of light around him, a massive cloud of blackness shot out from around him, completely covering his body and consuming a large amount of clouds as the massive amount of power roared around him, before an unusual thing happened. All around the edge of the massive cloud, the energy was lit on fire. Certainly, for Yoruichi, who had somehow up to what Moonie had known not been hit by the last ,this would most certainly be odd. The only trait she would have had a chance to recognize was the ability to take away one's air, but now the blast itself was using air, something that did not fit. But it did, and for Yoruichi to get at her prey, she was going to have to come inside of it ,and come right for him...

The crack was ear-piercing and sweeping, disrupting the sound barrier for a split second as it dominated the sonance of the area, before subsiding into thunderous din. For all those who did not know the Shihouin character well, it would still be fairly obvious that this woman luxuriated in the pleasure of showing off, choosing flashy maneuvers instead of critical tact. Regarding her background, she definitely had the capability to display a superior sense of battlefield strategy and specialized assassination technique to perhaps end this all quickly... and yet she did not. Rather, she abandoned such sober strategy in favor of blatant fighting glory. She could have begun the fight with a stab of the back and yet she did not; she could have simply dodged his attacks rather than meet them head on and yet she did not; she could have abused her superior speed in an overwhelming assault and yet she did not. It was true that this manifestation of the canine race was her enemy for the elementary fact that she was feline and thus the natural enemy. Still, the woman held back, playing it lightly to squeeze the most fun out of this that she could. If the skilled assassin desired the send clamorous and lustrous bolts of lightning at her enemy, she would very well do so. It was only quite frustrating as she witnessed the blast redirected off to the side and into the wall of the crater with total absence of mercy. Somehow, her opponent had changed the course of lightning, a troubling prospect. Despite the heat beginning to get to her, turning Shunko off wasn't an option; it was clear that she had no time to rest. Instead she got into her stance yet again, raising her arms to the forefront and bending her legs, despite floating in mid-air. Her eyes squinted in the mutt's general direction, as the initial brilliance of her attack finally faded. She found him weilding his dual swords again, the ones he had been wearing on his back for the majority of the time. And another thing... the hole in his chest was completely healed, as though it had never been there in the first place. "High speed regeneration..." she would mutter lamely.
It was a total guess, but judging by the drawing of his swords without being in close combat, it was by those blades that he countered her lightning attack; so, an educated guess. Her not-so-critical thinking was interrupted by the shouting of her opponent, accusing her of underestimating him. True, Yoruichi thought of him as an all-offense and zero-defense type of fighter in first impressions, but apparently he was capable of blocking attacks, so good on him. It was not moments later that he was charging his energy, creating something big within him that she would have to wait and see to figure out what it was. Though it was true that his spirit ribbon was fading out, becoming one with nothingness as his reiatsu disappeared, energy was still coursing through him and around him. She hadn't quite gotten the feel for what exactly it was, but it was there, palpable in the air just as Reiatsu was; it was much like the static pervading air when lightning struck down. Yoruichi was still, patient, but she did not need to wait for long. Suddenly a wave of this strange energy hit her and passed through her, completely encompassing not only her form but the entire chasm they fought in. She turned her head left and right, noting the purple hue now shading the area with mysterious secrets. Though she swam in the energy, nothing had happened just yet, and Yoruichi felt unchanged. She'd turn to face her opponent once more, a mixture of wariness and confusion settling upon her expression. He was already moving onto another attack, once again shouting it as he always did while Yoruichi in response tensed up... but the attack was aimed upwards as opposed to directly at her. Then the name of the attack actually hit her just as the blackened blaze assumed the form of a wolf. Despite his quip, she would simply smirk and wait for the actual attack to approach.
"Voi... Why does everyone look at me like a child? Why does everyone look at me like a child when I could see them as but toddlers?" These words brought Yoruichi pause, as they were spoken by her opponent with a sudden tinge of sadness, which was a complete and utter shift in mood. She considered her words, recalling that she hadn't said anything incriminating him as such, even though she had in her thoughts. Was it the way she had looked upon him? Yoruichi opened her mouth as she was about to inquire to why he had said something like that, but that was quickly halted by the less-than-comfortable feeling that suddenly shot through her, making it feel as though she was about to bring up her breakfast from this morning. She flinched as if in pain while her right hand rushed to her stomach, noticing the the sensation of weightlessness that accompanied the movement. What was this? Now, think what you will, but Yoruichi's first thoughts were accusatory as she considered the plate of fish Soifon had cooked and served her, wondering just how well-done they had been, if at all. But, that train of thought was discarded as soon as she remembered the area of purple energy surrounding her; and as she noticed that, she noticed the pressure of something on her back. Her free hand reached back to peel off a stone that had been sticking to her somehow, and when she released the rock it would immediately fly into her stomach as if magnetized to it. Then, with much more urgency, she beheld the flow of magma uncharacteristically rising to meet her, as a much heavier force crashed into her back and pushed her forward a couple inches. She heard Moonie's voice seemingly in the background of the unexpected tumult, still accompanied by that tone of unhappiness. "Voi, Boss James told me that I'm almost six... thousand years old. Voi! No one's serious if they see me as a child!" And then with both asperity and furor, he shouted his last words at the top of his lungs: "THE FIGHT IS TERRIBLE IF THEY REFUSE TO SEE ME AS ACOMPETENT IN POWER!"
There was no time to reflect upon this, no time. The hand resting on her stomach suddenly curled up most of its fingers, leaving only the forefinger and middle finger outstretched and pointing inwards. They pressed against her stomach through the electrical energy, through the fabric of her uniform, and through her cocoa-shaded flesh. With her hand in place, a spark of lightning would shoot down her arm and coil around the limb, much more distinctive than the electrical layer of Shunko around her. This spark would make it down the length of her hand and suddenly disappear into her stomach. In all, the entire process had seemed subtle, especially from such a far distance, and yet it meant so much. One of her signature techniques, Reverse Demon, had been used as a counter spell to undo the meddling of her opponent. All of the stray material of the Earth's crust that had managed to encase itself around her form suddenly fell down from her body, and the fountain of lava that had almost reached her seemed to just now realize the correct direction of gravity and then fall back down, wondering why it had been waked in the first place. Yoruichi herself did not stick around long, her visage vanishing most swiftly as she escaped the violet atmosphere, reappearing back on the surface of the planet standing outside the titanic crater. She stretched her limbs and body out fully, indulging in the return of natural gravity she had dearly missed despite the short interval of time without it. It looks like I was right, his powers are gravity-based, Yoruichi thought, as her mind flashed back to the ground-shattering punch she had delivered. The force of her attack had multiplied hundreds of times over than she had predicted it would, and she thought she felt her body get heavier too. At first the woman discarded it as a simple lapse of the mind, but what had just occurred had shattered that illusion. That feeling of weightlessness... and how everything was being attracted to me like metal to a magnet. It was not a mistake, not a fluke. He can control gravity.
She still did not have much time; the attacks were still coming out from the mutt. And speaking of mutts, as she looked back down into the crater she found a full fleet of them charging toward her, each appearing as the first one Moonie had created. They were colored black and made of flame, living infernos. Though regardless of the form they took, she knew it would be preferable to keep them away from her and thus not allow her opponent's attacks to land. Her knees bent, one foot sliding back along the blighted landscape and scraping a small cloud of dust in the process. She pulled one hand back and enclosed it in a fist, her muscles visibly bulging without any fabrics to shroud them. From that point on, it did not seem as though Yoruichi was doing anymore, even as the wolves continued to come closer. As her body sat still, her power did not, growing turbulent behind that steadfast fist; it was as if she was grasping that power, enclosing it within her hand and threatening to release it upon her enemies with this stance. And given as her enemies callously rushed toward her without a second thought at the command of their master, they merely rushed toward their own doom. Crying out with a sound that fell somewhere in between a 'rawr!' and a 'nya!', Yoruichi thrust her fist forward, not only toward the company of the wolves but down into the crater where Moonie was situated. Now, just at the apex of her attack, time seemed to stand still for a moment, for Yoruichi's sake. Her golden hues became deftly focused upon the figure deep down in the crater, miles past the wolves he had launched toward her. He was far, but still visible, and her keen eyes wondered about him. For that frozen moment, she swore she was preparing the same attack she had been.
And then stuff.
Loud stuff. But her ears were not the only things affected. Her entire body shook in tumult as the recoil of her attack was presented. The thing was, the recoil in no way came close to the explosive force of her punch, which radiated out in a massive wave that caused the air to ripple wildly and sound within it to flatten out and disappear. Yeah, the doggies were made of this weird fire, and generally all forms of fire ate up any nearby oxygen to sustain themselves, so one (Moonie) would think that in the end his attack would break through the blast of wind that resulting from the excessive force of Yoruichi's blow. Not quite, as would be evident as the frontlines of the wolf force were simply obliterated by it. They were like fragile little flames in the wake of a savage gust, being blown away. Yoruichi's bleat was completely drowned out by the boisterous shockwave, just as the wolves were, and still it continued to rocket down into the crater now with Moonie as its prey. As it travelled the many miles and expanded for every foot it traversed, it seemed that he would not be able to find a way out of this before it collided with him; perhaps he did not see it coming. Instead, all of her assumptions were jettisoned out of the mind as she suddenly heard a distant rumbling, slowly creeping toward her from the great distance. When it reached her, it arrived with a parade of pandemonium, tremoring through the ground like a massive earthquake. She almost stumbled, but managed to recover and keep her eyes set on the events occuring over by Moonie's side of things. Something happened that caused the magma pool below to splash and rave like stormy seas, while the nearby walls of the crater gave way and fell into the mantle. Her attack had definitely collided with something, but it had not been her intended target to take the hit. Another counter, it seemed.
"Kudos to him for the effort," she muttered, before reverting into a basic stance and smiling crookedly. Moonie was already charging forth, shooting black flames behind him and appearing much like a rocket as he propelled himself with them. It was definitely one way to close the gap between them, and Yoruichi would be no stranger as she leaped up into the air and started floating toward him to meet up, though warily keeping out of the purplish perimeter he had set up with that weird gravity. Though, it was not a handshake or a favorable embrace that he seemed to be going for, as she felt the strong pressure of his signature energy well up once again. This time, it spiked out of the man back most ostentatiously, a myriad of obscure rods all equidistant from each other as they appeared to form a massive black compass as his background. The phenomenon evolved, its patterns becoming more intricate and its form shifting to close down on something... on her. it, if it was possible to put a name to it as Moonie had just done, had far expanded past her field of vision, as her opponent had now arrived at his destination. Soon enough she was coming to regret her decision to rendezvous with him, as she noted the net-like manifestation locking up behind her, creating a small field for her to maneuver through. Now as the dog himself jetted toward her with fist held at fore, the disadvatages posed became most obvious. Her smile disappeared and she frowned at him as though it would make his succumb to her gaze and go away. No cigar; he once again shouted his attacked and hurtled mercilessly toward her, intent obvious.
She acted at the last second, displaying her ridiculous speeds in case he had forgotten. With such an obvious attack with such definite momentum backing it up, she could easily react without taking a single step. In an untraceable blur, her right hand rising up and over to the other side of her body as she prepared for a backhand, then torquing her body into a reverse chop that caught Moonie's offending arm on the side as it was about to land on her face. It had bone-breaking force. Not about breaking human bones; it was capable of breaking Moonie's bones with this strength. His arm, which would effectively have its skeletal structure shattered by the impact, would also roughly change trajectory in the direction of her chop. All that boundless force rocketed right over her shoulder quite harmlessly, leaving the two face to face for a split second, black fire to golden lightning. No smile this time, just deathly seriousness upon the woman's face. Then the exchange proceeded, as he tried to pull back and reach for his swords—Yoruichi did not allow it, as her foot shot forward into his stomach with the intent to create another hole, and regardless of whether or not it did, also to kick him the hell out of here. In either of the results, Moonie would find himself outside of his own sphere, carrying an arm of mush and a stomach ache, though the dark-skinned woman did not know how much of it could be healed. After all, he had recovered from the loss of whatever organs lied in his chest quite easily...
She looked up through the caging bars of his black flames, seeing him try something new yet again as all his previous attempts had failed. The fight was so fast-paced that Yoruichi barely noticed the lack of air caused by the 'Moon God's Prayer', and by the time she did he had already discarded the technique, freeing her. Perhaps he knew she was about to break out of it soon anyways, but regardless, Moonie was flying up into the sky, charging up for another attack. His black fire was once again in use, blowing apart the already scarce layer of clouds in the sky and making it appear as though a storm was coming. Yoruichi didn't quite move yet, simply watching this play out to make sure she could defend herself if he continued this endless assault much like he had been since this fight had begun. With nothing immediate on it's way, Yoruichi could relax a little bit. Her eyes drifted away, downcast upon the ground. She could hear the inferno raging above just as well, speaking of things to come. Yoruichi knew it was time to take the fight to the next level, at least for her it was; she very well figured Moonie had gotten ahead of her in that regard, pulling out his stronger techniques and utilizing so much energy to land a concrete hit on the Goddess of Flash. Chuckling only lightly, she reached around her hip with her right hand, finding the comforting grip of the sword strapped horizontally across her waist. Her fingers wrapped around it, securing a grasp and lightly pulling. A high-pitched ring sounded, strangely more overwhelming to Yoruichi's ears than the cacophony above. It called to her, as an inch of silvery blade was revealed. Ajani hungered to cut him.

Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]
Wed Feb 20, 2013 4:29 pm
"VOI! I DON'T REGENERATE! I MERELY HEAL!"
Moonie roared back at the shinigami, eyes wide at her. The massive energy she released in her punch shot towards the Moon Iramasha, rocking his body as he shook back and forth violently from it, but was left still standing. His entire body was in its full Strike Form now, and his skin was at the maximum resistance it could achieve in this current state.
His eyes widened as he felt the shot go through his arm. However, despite the immense amount of resistance he gave Yoruichi in that attack, his arm did not actually have any bones within it. In reality, what she had come into contact with was nothing more then the Moon God's own skin, and this skin suddenly sagged as the massive wave of force went into it. However, the sagging lasted only a moment, as it recovered once again. By now, it would become obvious to Yoruichi that this man was not like most beings; he couldn't be stopped simply by dealing blunt damage.
He felt her foot land into his stomach, staring at her firmly, as his body did not give a single inch, staring at her right in the eyes with a serious face as the backside of him suddenly EXPLODED, chips of his flesh flying out as his blood spurted along with it, beginning to close up the damage once again as the black liquid shot out like water released from a clay pot, but the skin that was in front of Yoruichi's foot was completely fine.
However, the force then caught up with him, as he was sent flying, spiraling as he righted himself once more. "VOI!" He released as he righted himself from his barrage of attacks, looking right at her as the sides of his mouth began to twitch. Slowly, it extended into a massive smile, going from edge to edge as he looked down at the woman below him, seeing her finally draw her weapon, as he opened his mouth. "CA-HA-HA-HA! YOU'RE FINALLY GETTING SERIOUS! VOI!" He cried out, elated, throwing his head back as his entire BODY was thrown back with it, his blond hair swimming around his shoulders as he ended up with his head pointing towards the woman, before suddenly shooting towards her.
He roared out, a massive smile on his face as he began to descend as two pillars of flames began to appear on either side of himself. The massive pillars were trailing along the ends of his swords, held on either side of himself. "VOI!" He roared out enthusiastically, the now 30+ foot long pillars, roughly 3 feet each in diameter, lighting on fire on their outside, red hot flame initiated by the burning of the very air itself around the Blast as a result of their massive amount of friction.
As he slammed into the ground, it was like a sudden earthquake had slammed into the very air around the two. Now you might be thinking, what ground? Hadn't they decimated all the area around them? Well, the answer was YES! However, there was something else. Moonie's energy was running rampant, massive swirls of purple energy that were stray from his attacks were descending and changing the gravitational properties of the ground below, making them weightless and spinning in the air, and as Moonie landed on this one it shook violently, suddenly shooting off as the Moon Iramasha realized… the rock was carrying him away.
"Voi! DUMB THING!" He roared, throwing down one of his blades as the massive boulder exploded beneath him, throwing him going in the other direction. Moonie knew perfectly well what had caused him to move that way; simply the fact of the matter was that he shot down towards it and the air pressure that had accompanied his descent had caused the boulder's direction to be changed. However, Moonie himself had been weightless, so the boulder was able to stay together.
A large amount of rock had appeared around Yoruichi, and Moonie was currently landing on one of these, his feet touching down on the flat surface. Whatever happened to those massive pillars of flame that Moonie had had earlier? Well, that would soon be revealed, so sit tight and wonder what those spiraling figures high up in the sky are… and pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. The Moon Iramasha had more pressing matters, like what the hell he was doing on this rock now, as it began rapidly spinning around vertically. While it did not go flying, it definitely spun… and spun… and spun…
Moonie eventually began to realize that he was now directly above Yoruichi, even as he felt some of the lava from earlier coming up due to all this spinning. He righted his gaze towards her, rapidly throwing down his blades into the ground beside her. Now, while he himself was covered in his Blast energy, his swords posed no real threat other then what they were about to do to Yoruichi's body. And what were they going to do to Yoruichi's body? Well, increase it's gravity by hundreds of times. The two blades combined would make it very difficult to maneuver, making it so that just moving a finger would take an immense amount of strength.
However, that wasn't the reason Moonie did this. He did it because he knew that if Yoruichi wanted to, she could easily destroy the boulder which his gravity had lifted in the air while she was standing on it. No, he wanted to get up close and personal with the she cat, even as his body began to descend. "VOOOOOI!" He roared out as his body shot towards the Shinigami, the gravity's influence suddenly grabbing him as well as he smashed into the boulder, both feet slamming into it as he reached a hand out, grabbing onto one of the handles of his swords as without warning half of the multiplication of gravity on himself was lifted, even as his left foot came around from the side.
Now, his leg was covered in the purple energy of his Gravity, even as without warning it began to RAPIDLY speed up. This was because of the fact that there was less gravity now resisting it, as Moonie had reduced its influence on his leg despite the massive weight increase of the other sword that was affecting himself. This made the leg much faster then normal, as it broke the speed barrier, going right for Yoruichi's chest. However, as it began to fly, the amount of raw FORCE that Moonie was placing behind this kick would become evident.
The massive boulder beneath his other foot became cracked, all the way through, and if his foot connected with Yoruichi, the massive amount of force would cause the boulder beneath them to crumble, in addition to the massive amounts of force that were currently shooting through the air to blow away the other weightless boulders, sending everything AROUND the two of them blowing away, shooting all over the area as even as Moonie's right foot continued coming around, slamming into the dust of the destroyed rock as a cloud of Blast began to appear at his feet, eating the earth away from what was around it as he looked at Yoruichi, as Blast shot up from the cloud, enshrouding his entire body, his arms crossing across his chest.
The smile on his face was almost scary as he looked at her, his two blades spinning in the air, seeming weightless themselves, thanks to Moonie's Gravity energy that was currently covering them over. The Moon Iramasha looked at her squarely, his eyes meeting hers and her eyes wide and excited. How was he doing this? He had, once again, rendered his body weightless; and as such, was merely standing on air, with the cloud of Blast beneath his feet. The prospect of this imagery excited him, and made the smile on his face merely widen as he looked at her, his face awash in the Blast energy as he opened his mouth wide, revealing his teeth.
He roared out to the woman below, as without warning the two spiraling energies in the air revealed their true purpose, as the two streaks of flame shot out of NOWHERE, in reality having dispersed their energy, reforming on either side of Yoruichi, roughly five feet away from either side of her as they suddenly smashed together, flame encircling them as they forced into each other, trying to tear through her and one another, greatly increasing their friction as they attempted to pass all the way through her, making a massive amount of friction and burn from the combined efforts as Moonie watched, slightly panting.
It had been no easy feat to perform this. The entire time, Moonie had been trying to make sure that he could perform this feat; making sure he didn't lose control of his Nature Energy even in its dispersed state, and gathering all the particles into the right space at the right time to utilize them properly was no mean feat. However, the results would well be worth it, as Moonie knew she would not be able to get out of the two pillar's way that easily.
However, just for some reassurance, he threw his hand back, almost lazily.
He said, still smiling, as from around his body a massive amount of blast formed a black ring in front of himself, roughly 2 feet in diameter, before from the ring shot a massive amount of Blast, like a flamethrower as it shot towards Yoruichi. This was mostly done as an afterthought, although Moonie knew that there was something else within that energy. Moonie knew she was finally getting serious, so he was going to get serious as well, now using his mind to think on how best to plan ahead. And to him, the best way to do that currently would be to chuck his energy down at the crater below, causing many natural resources to be burned and yet at the same time become weightless, as the Gravity which Moonie had added to the outlines of this lazy attack would cause them to raise up.
Moonie didn't WANT this to hit, darnit! It had nothing to do with expectations, it was just the easiest way of doing things. If she wanted to get in the way or be a hero, fine. But right now Moonie wanted to throw this attack because he was improving the battlefield, and to give him an edge for later on, possibly. The Moon Iramasha was actually using his brain… kind of… at least… Sorta? Well, either way, while he might not have been able to see the logic part of it, some part of him, some instinct, knew that what he was doing was the proper thing to be done. This instinct was from a mixture of his combat logic, as well as his experiences. So he decided to follow his instinct about battle, as he always did, thus resulting in the very lazy attack, if it could even be called that.
Then the Moon Iramasha rolled his neck to the side, hearing a reassuring pop as he looked down at her, extremely focused on her. In fact, his focus had not wondered from her from the entire time he had descended on the stone that he had sent flying and subsequently crushed. The smile that was currently on hisf ace as he breathed in and out was evidence enough of how much he was enjoying this fight, and was very much looking for it to continue. He didn't adopt a defensive stance-why bother? His Blast was all the defense he needed, and even if the woman didn't notice it, Moonie knew what was slowly happening to her, and that she would soon realize why it was not good to move as freely as she was inside of his energy.

Song: Doomsday Machine — Artist: Far Too Loud
'You and I both hate this species, I know that much. Can you bite down on your pride for ONE second and join with me now? For once we have something to agree on and I am not about to let it go to waste...'
Yoruichi's was still in her somber pose for the longest time, completely rigid even in the weightless dominion of the dog. The lack of gravity still affected her outfit, causing gentle waves in the length of the fabric, but still anchored to the staunch form of the woman. She was deep within the depths of her soul, for once speaking to the insidious beast that was tied to her Zanpakutō and she was forced to call her partner. The two had their differences, rarely ever working together for they simply could not see eye to eye. Yet for one mere occasion, Yoruichi begged, stifling her own pride for the sake of Ajani's. The moment when the two finally came to concurrence became clear, as a surge of energy came from the blade itself to accentuate the overall presence of Yoruichi's. Her eyes shot straight up to lock onto her combatant, shining vibrantly with their gold hue. Her hair just seemed to burst out of its ponytail, snapping the band apart and sending it flying into the air before disintegrating when it left the protective field of the Shunko. The purple locks gave way to weightlessness and floated around as though they were caught in the wind, giving Yoruichi a much wilder, untamed look. This matched the fierceness displayed in her eyes, the animalistic nature that seemed to shine through them now. Her lips peeled back to bare the sharp fangs she possessed, clenching her teeth tightly together with ardent force. A loud screech encompassed the area around the woman, originating from the revealed length of the Kodachi sword she possessed. Arcs of lightning bounced of the shimmering steel and cracked outwards, disrupting the flow of energy with dangerous power. The very ground she stood on—even as it began to go to pieces underneath her—conducted Yoruichi's elements and bounced from mineral to mineral. Moonie's energy may have been extremely widespread and more impressive visually, but under a keener sense would pale in comparison to how heavily concentrated her's was. Yoruichi's form was a star inside of an ocean, with the power to split the heavens.
He moved so slow, that there was no getting around it. Yoruichi's muscles twitched anxiously from all this WAITING she had to do. His foot broke the sound barrier as it was sent flying at her but the attack couldn't come sooner. Her impatience shattered her resolve and she just let the weapon loose like an explosion she could not contain. Her blade rang out at an ear-splitting decibel, sliding out of its sheath so fast that the friction caused by it lit a small inferno despite Yoruichi having no control over fire. The Golden Retriever of a mutt was barely halfway through with the strike by the time her weapon arrived. Without bothering to shift Ajani in her grip, she just smashed the butt of the weapon into his knee, buffering it yet again with the layer of Shunko to counter out his black flames. With that, it came down solely to sheer force against sheer force, and while Moonie's was formidable... Yoruichi was finally done messing around. The force behind this attack was an entirely new level above what she had displayed in their last fisticuffs. There was the power of a nuclear bomb behind the hilt of her weapon, but focused into one strike. It was still blunt force, but it did not matter what this entity was made of. The scope of this force could annihilate cities, and it could annihilate the joint of knee just as well. It would just... disappear, entirely; becoming a ruined mass of gore that was sent flying into the next country at several times the speed Moonie could ever attempt to move. Consequently, without anything connecting the lower leg to the upper, the remainder of his leg would simply spiral off into the distance uselessly. This all happened faster than electronic pulses could send nerve pulses from the senses to the brain to tell one what was happening around them, likely meaning he'd be hobbling on one leg before he had a chance to react.
Immediately after this exchange, Yoruichi's form pulled back in a blur and she swung her weapon around in front of her in a semi-circle, righting Ajani and holding the weapon like a true sword now. This mere movement, no offense intended in the maneuver, was enough to blow back the black flames and any other form of matter with grandiose force, including the concussive blast that would smash against Moonie's chest and probably knock the wind out of him. What strength was this? It was insane, that just ordinary actions were enough to wreak this kind of havoc around her. Even the blunt assault with the butt of her sword—it was one simple thrust and yet it possessed cataclysmic power. To imagine if it had been aimed at a more fatal target, which her speed could very well allow her to hit with ease. Then, realize that she was still holding back to some degree. Yoruichi could swing harder, stronger, faster. Didn't Shinigami have Shikai, and Bankai? And what of the intense gravity? Was it slowing this woman down at all, and if it was...? If danger truly excited this beast of a dog, then he'd have to be getting the carnival of a lifetime here, for anything less would be a mockery of Yoruichi's power. Her eyes narrowed at him, keen for the next attack she could feel in her gut that was coming. Surely enough, he cried the attack out just before it happened, spawning two torrents of black flame smash her in between. Again, it had to be reiterated how long he was making her wait here. The once sinister-seeming black fire of his was now but a distraction and a nuisance, especially now that she was taking her time waiting for the attack to get close enough. Moonie would probably not notice the pause, likely thinking it was nothing more than the usual delay of reaction time. That simply was just not the case.
Using Reiatsu as her grounding while combating in mid-air, the violet-haired woman twisted her legs around each other and then propelled herself into a rapid spin, holding her sword out at exactly the same time. Again, she called another element to her bidding without having direct control of it, as what little atmosphere was left nearby was wrapped around her like a tornado and projected outwards, though this was not the focus of her maneuver. Rather, a sharp force emanated from her blade's very tip as she spun, cleaving through the air past her weapon's reach—far beyond it. As the plumes of flame encroached upon her, they fell upon the razor wind and found themselves split down the center and separated with a harsh force. Rather than crash against each other, the two halves of both fire trails were divided by the cutting force. Then, while divided, they were conquered by the secondary force caused by Yoruichi's spinning Great Cleave. This response also had a secondary purpose, as the wave of sharp force would clash against the doggie's body as well, slicing his chest. Only by merit of his intense endurance could he prevent the attack from utterly cutting him in two, provided he did not attempt to dodge it—he didn't seem like the type to dodge, and his swords were no longer in his hands, so chances were likely he'd rely on his endurance.
All these hasted movements were continuously creating shockwaves, clearing a small place around the two over and over and keeping it clean of Moonie's sinister powers. The dirty mutt was created a big mess and he kept trying to worsen it and worsen it by clogging the place up with his energy. By the time he was preparing this next attack, Yoruichi had finally cleared enough of it away to give her a window of opportunity, where his dark flames could not hinder her own attack. She came out of her spin—briefly exhaling and showing the first sign of minor exhaustion from being in Shunko for so long—but she still was capable of continuing at full strength. There it was, a clear shot. He was in the middle of charging up his attack, and she did not hesitate in her next strike. Her weapon arm lunged forward, her upper body torquing to put more force behind a stab of the blade. The distance between the two was several dozen meters long by this time, great enough for her attack to seem laughable. Though yet again the power of her attack extended far beyond the length of the steel, a spear of sharp force jettisoning out like a sniper round, this time crackling with intense electrical energy. It would strike the wrist of his attempting to collect his dark fire, perforating through and splattering blood out of the hole that would be created on the other hand. A burst of electricity would shoot out and around his wrist and spiral up to the tips of his fingers, swiftly distorting his control over the hand, as well as his energy. Once again, Reverse Demon had been employed, this time from long range, and it would counter his attack before he was even able to launch it. More than that, the entire length of that arm would go numb and fail to respond to his commands for a long moment of time.
Only a select few beings would be able to tell when exactly Yoruichi had moved, as she was obviously not where she was not moment's ago. But the way her image faded into nothingness like a tempest in the desert left others to question exactly what happened. Moonie was not one of those people with such a capability, but the revelation would certainly come when he felt something roughly clamp down on his skull and squeeze so hard that it felt like it would give way any moment and he'd feel her fingers stab into his mind. She curled her nails inward, grabbing a fistful of his hair as they dug into the flesh of his scalp. She forced him with her unbelievable strength, twisting his neck like an owl to look at her and see the furious face she was wearing as well as the redness in her eyes. There was strain on the woman as it appeared, obviously, but from what exactly was not quite clear. The tension was causing the cat lady to be a little bit more aggravated than she usually would, hence the attitude. ''Let... go.. of... ME!'' she screamed at last as she attacked. He could not even see how Yoruichi had attacked but he would certainly feel it as a sharp blunt force smashed into his face and sent him rocketing downwards towards the lava at a speed he could only dream of achieving one day. She abused his weightlessness to accelerate him down so damn fast, with nothing there to cause friction with his body in flight or slow him down. Ruinous vibrations would rock violently throughout his body and turn his insides from solid to liquid, while the point of impact—his face—would probably be disfigured greatly.
And she called down from her heightened elevation, rage clear in her voice, irregardless of whether or not he could hear it. ''LET GO OF ME, YOU DIRTY MUTT!'' she yelled again. It may not have been clear to him yet, but Yoruichi was referencing the gravity. It was holding her back greatly, withering the potential the Shinigami possessed. ''LET ME PUNCH YOU HARDER!'' It didn't matter that the demands were completely absurd and no being in their right might would ever concede to the point, but at this point Yoruichi was merely venting. The stress, the strain, the exhaustion she was beginning to display; all stemmed from the constricting force of the enhanced gravity field. She could do the smart thing and move outside of the area, but this mutt was here and not there. Yoruichi took a stance again, but it was distorted by the adrenaline-fueled fury coursing through her. As she took her sword up in both hands and held it in front of her with its tip pointed down into the magmatic sea below, she heard the quiet approval of Ajani in the back of her head. It was true, for once, they actually could see down the same lens this time. It's just idiotic that it took something like this in order to come to such a point.

Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

Moonie could understand beauty, to a degree; the figure before him seemed to possess it. However, his soul was completely focused on the fight at hand, and as she looked at him with that wild gaze, she became immensely more attractive to Moonie's current state of mind. Attractive as in something he desired, plain and simple. The look of her soul, the look of her true state of mind when it came completely to bare… Moonie was almost certain that this was the look with which her fierce eyes were now giving him. A small part of him, a very small part, twinges; but not from fear. Moonie could not exactly think of WHY he could feel that small part; but he felt that in time it would become clear.
The sight of her energy; the force of her power… It made his entire body excited with the prospect of that being used in their battle. At last, he reached her. Without warning, he felt a strong pain from his knee, his energy flaring up as it solidified, the forces colliding as the sheer amount of force he was releasing clashed with the force of her assault, as at last she slammed it into his leg so hard that it was torn asunder. Moonie had no joints or nerves; there was a massive explosion of force, and he could feel the assault of it all over his leg, his mouth open wide with joy as the attack assaulted his limb, the very skin peeling off, the entirety of the limb dripping his black blood, half of it totally annihilated, the strips of flesh having been discarded far and wide. Moonie lacked nerve pulses; so while he instantly could feel his being be violated by her force, he was fully aware of it at all times, and completely relished in it.
As she performed her maneuver, the light of the flames was pushed away, the sustenance around them that they radiated being moved aside. As a result, the firm substance underneath, the true nature of Blast, was full to bare as it came against the force, shredding against it and discarding it as it came into contact with her stance. Moonie's entire body was shaking, and he was… laughing, quietly, as if he could not control himself. To say that he was excited was an understatement; this was the first being he had ever encountered that excited him so. The tail on his backside was waving so hard that it would be snapping off and exploding into oblivion if it were a normal dog's tail. As for Moonie, it just showed how intensely excited that he was.
As he began to perform the next attack, he could feel a… change. ...Voi…? His thoughts began to swim around in his head, trying rapidly to find out what was wrong. He could feel he was irritated, and began to have a sneaking suspicion about what it could be. ...Am I… not… adequate enough for her…? V..voi…? However, he rapidly had to snap back into the present, taking notes of observing the attack that she was beginning to near him with. His mouth was open in awe, though his form was straight as she approached. Suddenly, a blade could be felt slamming into his torso. Already once before his chest had badly been wounded in this battle, and now he could feel her assaulting it once again. The amount of raw force that she was using made him want to gasp; a massive cut appeared along his torso, oozing the black blood that sustained his form, the center of his body from his pectorals to his pelvis being split.
At last, he could see her preparing her next attack, his eyes wide at her as he prepared for his next attack. He could feel electricity slamming into his hand and gasped… as the electricity flowed up his arm, finally flowing into his mouth. … So… powerful… He thought, the hole in his hand also allowing blood to flow from it. His hand was numb, and was unable to perform his attack; however, he could still feel it for the most part, due to the drawing in of the electricity once it had landed on his body. Moonie could see that she was moving quickly. Automatically, it seemed in the look of her eyes, she did not believe that he could see him. She was not looking him in his eyes; and that part of him seemed to shrink away once again, like some kind of nerve.
He could see her; he could see her clearly. For the Moon Iramasha, whose battles with those who were faster than he counted more than he could ever even try to remember, dealing with speed was his specialty when it came to auxiliary abilities. He could not ever match that speed, of course, but he could definitely observe it. His excited mind and his experience were both on display as he tracked her, most likely unnerving her if she bothered to ever notice the attention that he was giving her movements, even though he should not have been able to observe them.
At last, her hands gripped around his skull. It was the closest that she had ever been to him, and his eyes were staring directly at her as she did so. His eyes looked at her, but at last they had lost that immensely excited flare; he knew what the feeling was. As she screamed, she confirmed it. At last, her blade smashed into his face, his body being knocked back into the lava below as he grit his teeth, the gravity around him rapidly accelerating, his body shooting down at a speed that made the blood flowing from his leg that was trying to heal go scattering, the wound on his torso bleeding, the one in his hand also dropping his life force.
At last, his entire body disfigured, he fell down into the lava below. The warmth of it against his body felt like had been dropped in a warm bath… if the Moon Iramasha had known what a warm bath felt like. The fact was that he had never taken a bath before in his life; and as he fell into the lava, he wondered if this was what a shower or sauna felt like. Water and Moonie never mixed; never, ever. However, lava… He could stay in. His mind was relaxed as his form lay in the lava below, as at last, he began to rise out of it. His body was healed once more, as if healed by the lava itself; though he appeared to almost be two inches shorter than he had been before. He was totally silent as he rose from the lava pool, his eyes looking down at it, his hair plastered to his back.
Those were the only words that let the mouth of the male, flowing upwards from the pit of lava. "...I can't match your speed… Vooi… Even with my gravity… I'm still… making you wait… I'm sorry… I see it… in your eyes... I'm so sorry…" He exclaimed his face filling up with tears as they descended down into the lava below, before at last he breathed out.
At last, the male's hair began to rise upwards from behind his head. Never enough… His entire body began to radiate power, the sheer substance of it being all that could be felt from his direction, as the area around his body began to change. A purple flow of energy began to radiate from his body, the lava around his body forming a cone around him, the Gravity flowing in a spiral around his body as the lava was pulled in a sphere, only Moonie visible in the open roof of the sphere, walls of lava now surrounding his body as he reached forwards, his eyes closing as he gripped small bits of lava, his Gravity flowing outwards even further as the sphere continued to grow larger, as at last he looked back up at her.
"BUT I WON'T… APOLOGIZE… ANY MORE!" He suddenly roared, as without warning the Gravity began to change, hundreds of the spheres of lava instantly appearing in front of his hand as he punched it forwards. Faster than a person could blink, the bullets of lava shot upwards, slamming directly into where Yoruichi's body was, dozens of the things pelting her as they shot forwards, but not only that but pelting her from every angle. They could not be dispelled with a simple release of that shunko energy; for what mattered was not the lava itself; but the force. The lava was used as a catalyst to transmit these pieces of force, so intense that they would leave wounds even 10 feet away from her body if the force was not completely stopped.
Literal hundreds of the bits of lava poured around her, enhanced both from Moonie's immense manipulation as well as his sheer amount of force that he could generate with his body. "AND VOI… I'LL MAKE YOU STOP WORRYING ABOUT IT!" He roared, as suddenly the Gravity around her body completely and totally dispersed, the Gravity totally and completely gone…
And Moonie Iramasha directly in front of her body.
His entire body slammed into where she was standing, with so much force that it would topple several buildings on its passing as he slammed into her, a roar leaving his mouth. "VOOI! SO STOP LOOKING AT ME WITH THOSE EYES! I CAN'T… FOCUS… WITH THOSE EYES!!" Was all that he roared as he brought a fist up high, slamming it downwards towards her skull.
Finally clear at last, the male's visage would become plain to see to the cat before him. His entire form was black, as if his very body had been converted into Blast. However, within this darkness, there were points of light… like the sky on a starry night, layered over the body of a person. The only thing that remained of the original visage of the man was his eyes, those eyes that wanted nothing more than to enjoy themselves as he grit his teeth, losing all track of himself as his body suddenly burst forwards once more. The Gravity around his body forced outwards as a single hand behind him pressed onto the plate, his body firing out at such speeds that it was obvious that he himself had no control over what he was doing, no particular control of his actions. He simply MOVED. iF she dodged, then she dodged. IF she didn't, than she did not.
His elbow poked on a bit of Blast energy as he approached her at that tremendous speed, his eyes crazy as the fist flashed forwards once more, this time a hook straight into her gut. There were no more calling out of names; there was no time. Moonie's blades were on his back, but they were emitting no passive force. The only thing they were doing was triggering in the instances that maximized Moonie's force output, allowing him to reach speeds the likes of which Moonie's body was never made to perform accurately. His left leg kicked backwards on another plate of Blast after the hook, immediately afterwards, and once again the force fluctuated, his right foot shot upwards, attempting to slam directly into her chest and most likely sending her flying. Moonie had no finite control over his movements, and as a result went spiraling away after this action, his body's flipping going constantly as the starry individual flew away, as the Moon God's mouth opened wide, his target locking in his mind as his eyes tracked her, before he released a single phrase.
As he roared this, the massive, sheerly massive amount of energy left from his mouth, enough to decimate a small city. The difference was that as it left his mouth, Gravity accumulated around it, compressing it an immense amount as it bound around the attack as it left him, creating a strike roughly 2 inches wide. However, the force behind this attack was unrivaled in any of the actions that Moonie had made before hand; even just using that was sending him flying into the crater wall. However, not once, not a single time… did he take his eyes off of her. They remained on her at all times as the blast of energy warped, curving and sailing as it reached its full speed, moving like a spear through the air as it went faster than most beings could see, Moonie's eyes barely tracking it as he directed it straight at where the woman's shoulder was. Twice, he would be able to redirect it with the focus granted through the improvement of his senses granted by his Purity. After those two, he would be unable to guide it any longer, and it would slam through the rock face of the crater, drilling straight through it rapidly and violently, leaving a cascaded hole created through the force of intensely focused Blast and flame, so focused that not even Yoruichi's shockwave of raw force would be able to hinder it in the slightest; and splitting it would be immensely, immensely difficult due to how much focus Moonie was placing in it as well as how focused the energy itself was.
After it was completely fired, Moonie's body slammed into the rock face of the crater once again… and proceeded to fly another twenty feet into the face, directly in his impression, his body moving so fast that the rock did not even have time to crumble before he flew out of it once again, standing directly over the magma like a shot, a massive wall of Blast forming in front of his body and slamming into him as it stopped his acceleration… and planting him firmly against it. A spot of his blood appeared on his forehead, his gaze serious as it locked back onto her once again, showing just to the extent that he was forcing himself in an attempt to satisfy her. That was the only reasons for his antics for manipulating his force with Gravity; he was focusing all of his energy to try to make her feel more satisfied. He hoped that it worked, sincerely. "Voi." Was all he said as he shivered, before he began to puke out blood, a couple of drops flowing from his mouth as he spat them out, his gaze unchanging. His body was never meant to go at these speeds; but he was determined, so determined that he was forcing himself to deal with them.
He looked upat her now, his eyes wide as he looked at her. However, even as he did so, something occurred. From his behind, once again, his tail reappeared, ade of the same substance of the rest of his body, and atop of his starry hair the ears once again reemerged as well. "Voi… Thank you for this." He stated simply, as the Gravity that covered around his body completely dispersed, his energy forming around his body in a super-massive layer, extremely increasing his defenses as the Blast energy that was around the area completely dispersed, leaving only Moonie and Yoruichi...
