Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie] - Page 2 Empty Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

Sat Jan 18, 2014 6:20 pm

Song: Doomsday Machine — Artist: Far Too Loud

Yoruichi would suck up the saliva in her mouth and spit downwards, shooting out the gross projectile to the magma pool bubbling below. She was dissatisfied with how the mutt could heal just so easily; she had crippled the whelp and yet a dip in the lava had his form perfectly pristine. She hoped the discharge splattered on his face, though from the kilometer long distance it was very unlikely. With furious force she would smash her fist into her palm, creating a loud smacking sound that echoed from the walls of the tremendous crater, easily heard by Moonie. The sword remained in her hand, still letting off a light ring from the passive aggressive vibrations of the spirit within. Both Yoruichi and Ajani together were synchronized, both furious, and both prepared to join him down there and rip him to pieces. However, it would seem the fight would be taken to them as the Dog suddenly flourished with dense violet energy, so powerful that it warped the will of the lava around him without his directive. Liquid fire swirled around him protectively, bright globules floating nearby without any ties to the earth. Yoruichi focused in with her keen eyes, still overwhelmingly angry but curious about the new development. Time was still moving so slowly, each second dragging on like a minutes until something had to happen. And it did, setting the next round into motion like wildfire.

The chocolate-shaded woman became a blur as she moved, no normal eye capable of tracking her movements as she used it, her Flash Step. There was a scatter shot of igneous projectiles rocketing up at her from all sorts of directions, painting the atmosphere with a dribble of lava and yellowish-orange light, yet Yoruichi would not deign to let a single one dare touch her. Her Shunpo was taking her from point to point to point at breakneck speeds, never staying in one place long enough for her visage to even become visible. There were shockwaves of force however, battering her savagely even despite the lava missiles merely skimming past her without an instant of contact. This also did not seem to hinder or harm the cat-like Shinigami as the brilliant armor of her Shunko easily quelled the collateral forces of these attacks. She did not wait for him to send off another barrage from range; she did not want to play around. Yoruichi took herself closer and closer with each step, weaving through the rain of fire like an obstacle course until it was cleared completely, cutting the distance between them in two. Surprisingly? The agonizing weight lifted from her shoulders and she was met halfway there. The two stood right before each other, equals for just an infinitesimal instant.

The wind was knocked out of Yoruichi's lungs as she felt a sharp impact surge through her chest. He charged straight into her torso with violent momentum, only managing to catch her by surprise. What wasn't taken into account though was just how fast the woman would recover from it, now that she wasn't using up all of her strength just to fight against the field of gravity. A swift breath filled her lungs and she almost instantaneously ceased their backwards motion with a push in the other direction. She stood her ground with a growl and absolutely refused to let him push her past this point in mid-air, and so he resorted to trying to smash her. The moment Moonie's arm was raised Ajani would lash out like a name, slicing thoroughly through his arm like it was just hot air. It was at this point however that Yoruichi realized the dog no longer took on the flesh of a human. The pretense discarded, she witnessed an entity of energy, a form of darkness with gems of light where his eyes would be. He was now demonstrably wicked with the new appearance, more like a wild demon than a mere dog. As the creature would inevitably throw out a haymaker with its remaining good arm, Yoruichi's counter would be considerably more resolute. A downwards swipe lopped of his other arm, swiftly halving his limbs in two subsequent strikes her Zanpakutō. She had no doubt he would heal them again, but it would not be fast enough for Yoruichi.

He threw his leg back, using what he had left to him to try and land something—anything—on the Cat for the satisfaction of connecting just one hit. His leg would only phase through an after-image of the mocha-hued woman as she reappeared in actuality behind him. There was no getting around it, even when the mutt tried to match her speeds with his enhanced form: He just couldn't keep up. He would not even be able to turn around fast enough to witness the surge of blazing light that burned one's eyes to look at. In a fracture of a second Moonie would be consumed in a massive eruption of electrical energy, distorting his very spiritual form from the overload of the Shunko. The explosion would send him flying forward into the wall of the crater like a meteor, dislodging an entire section of the cliff over him from the impact. His entire backside would be charred by the intense lightning, and arcs of electricity would still be jumping to and fro over his body that disturbed his senses and burned at his nerves. Every time he tried to concentrate on something electricity would shock through his spine with a mind-shattering agony. There was just so much voltage travelling through his body that it made it difficult for him to so much as act.

And to make matters worse, Yoruichi was suddenly hovering over his crumpled form in the hole of the wall, having Flash Stepped to get here. Her fist cocked back as she glared at him, her intent clear. Then like a piston she punched forward into his chest. It had the same effect as driving a pick into a boulder would, with Moonie as the pick in this scenario. If Yoruichi's attack would hit, Moonie would become the nail that plunged further into the wall of the crater, and fractured an expanse of several dozen miles worth of land. An entire valley split down the median of this stretch, resulting in a violent earthquake throughout the wastelands. The very tectonic plates would shift suddenly, scraping against each other and disturbing the lands with tremors in places all over the world, whether they be mild or catastrophic. Moonie would puncture through miles of stone until he flew out the other end into this newly-formed canyon, hurtling through open space for merely a fraction of a second. But Yoruichi would just not give him a break. She had already flown up and out of the small cave to rush forth and find her prey again. She would dive like a perigrine, her foot forward so that she would drive it into his stomach mid-flight. Moonie's trajectory would make a ninety degree turn down into gaping crust again, merely a ragdoll at this point.

This series of events would conclude with yet one more Flash Step; Yoruichi materializing over Moonie's sprawled out body and rapidly plunging her blade into his stomach to pin him down. Her blade felt like magma, and prior to nailing it through him she would not pull it out and let him recover. The sharp edge would remain and refuse to let his wound close up and stop the bleeding of his black blood. In a matter of seconds, he'd lost his arms, had his backside incinerated, been electrocuted, smashed up and crucified against the ground by a Zanpakutō. Yoruichi would stand above him relatively untouched—the most damaged he'd have caused to her being her frizzled windblown hair. Shunko sparked energetically around her still, lighting up this otherwise dark abyss. But finally, she stood still, breathing heavy after everything she'd done in quick succession. To put the cherry on top, she'd collect her spit once more and hock it straight into his face with disgust. It was a never-ending war between Cats and Dogs, and by no means would this even sort of change her view on her hostility towards them.

It was just... just nature.

Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie] - Page 2 Empty Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

Sat Jan 18, 2014 8:05 pm

When Moonie had finally impacted into her, his Blast energy had become uproarious, the constant layr around his body SURGING as it consumed the front of her body with intense friction, scraping at the entirety of her body in an attempt to shred her an immense amount. The outpour of Blast occurred so suddenly and from all over Moonie's body, most likely overwhelming the power of the Shunko's lightning as the Purity-focused Blast energy shredded it on the infinitesimally small space between his body and hers.

However, at last his attacks had to go on. Her slash slammed into his arm, and he merely opened his eyes wide as his flesh was pierced, his arm gaining a slash through it, going about half an inch inwards. "VOI! THIS IS MY PURITY! REMEMBER IT, CAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed, his tail wagging back and forth as she slashed his other arm as well, both of his arms dripping blood as it was slashed out of him. He could see as she went behind him, his eyes following her, but unable to move fast enough at this point to do anything.

Electrical energy poured over his body, but somehow, over the electrical energy… there was a laugh. As the dust cleared, Moonie was standing there, but something was different. He had, in his back, what looked like a spine… a glowing white spine, made of electrical energy. "You see me for what I am." He said simply, the noise which had been going far over the noise of the electrical energy being the laugh of the male as he raucously laughed his head off at the developments. Oh, it hurt; it hurt like nothing he had ever FELT before. THIS. IS. SO. GREAT. His mind was just able to get through bits and pieces of the thoughts as he felt the tingles of the shocks go through him every once and a while, constantly remaining him of what he had just gotten to go through!

At last, he realized that his back was against the wall. He had enjoyed that last attack so much, he had forgotten to stop his flying away. He didn't care though; this was fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. A single hand reached over to the middle of his body as her fist slammed forwards, landing in his hand as he gave her a pleasant greeting, bending the wrist back and attempting to completely break her wrist or arm… while he was taking the impact that she had just given. All at his back, the ground was destroyed, but just as before, a small amount of land remained directly at his back, his eyes looking directly at her as his tail wagged, feeling the tectonic plate behind him rocking so very, very violently.

"AUSTIN'S GONNA BE PISSED! I LOVE IT!" He told her directly, letting go of her hand as he released the hold on himself, his body spiraling away into where the wall used to be, laughing maniacally as he looked upwards at her reappearing form. "VOOOOOI!!!" Was all that he could release from his mouth as her foot slammed into his stomach, the force clearing all the dust in the area as Moonie shot downwards, his call following in his wake as the dust chased after him in the wake he had created, before he saw her reappear in front of him, her blade piercing into his chest.

However, the chest would not simply take it like that. The blade fought with it, the properties of its ability to rend piercing it so hard that at last it would become clear what exactly was happening; Moonie's blast was constantly outpouring from his flesh, making more and more substance that the blade had to rend. At last, Moonie's defenses were bypassed after a solid ten seconds of attempting to pierce his chest, before it would suddenly and violently pierce through him, his mouth opening as he choked out some blood, the substance scattering about his face and dripping down from it as it began to leak out from his chest at last.

He looked at her as she began to perform an act of intimidation, one of disgust, her spit falling down on his face. It landed above his right eye, which remained wide open to stare at her, despite the fact that it had been just in danger of having spittle violate it. In addition… It was of note that the Blast around Moonie's body did nothing to this spittle; it allowed for it to exist there on his forehead, even as it did not move a single centimeter, locked there… almost.

"VOOOOOOOOOOOOI!!!"

The cry left his body as the spittle formed into a sphere on his forehead, hyper-condensed with focused Gravity as it suddenly shot forwards at speeds rivalling shunpo… thanks to a fraction of a movement of Moonie's forehead, releasing the equivalent of an anti-aircraft bullet's force with a 'bullet' the size of a rifle round… Which was obliterated from the force, leaving only its molecules to transmit the energy directly at her lungs. If she took it, it would pierce straight through, more likely than not; the two blades on Moonie's back had begun to trigger as the bullet approached her, gravity increasing by ten thousand times as a purple field of energy appeared around his bleeding body, the focus of everything there his body.

At the beginning of all of this, though… Moonie's hands had grasped the blade on his body. Despite the fact that this poured out more blood from the wounds on his arms. Basically, Yoruichi had all at the same time an opposing grip on her sword that was being amplified in addition to her presence being dragged towards him in an amplified manner, with a massive focused bullet going at one of her major organs.

And lastly, Moonie's entire body lit on FIRE.

A massive amount of Blast swam up from every corner of his body, shooting up as it flowed along the Gravity, uninhibited due to their same-nature as the Blast energy flowed towards and around her, extremely focused, like a wave of black that just flowed over her body if she was still standing anywhere within ten feet of Moonie, the range of his greatly increased Gravity. His hands were gripping the sword so tightly with the gravity that he was even impressing against his own immense durability, and his blood that had been spilled was no longer flowing; it was sticking to him instead of flowing out. "VOOOOOI!!"

At last, the massive creation burst, the condensed and hyper-focused Blast dispersing at last as an individual rose up from the damage, coughing and choking. "Voi… So… good… VOI!" He exclaimed, the tail swinging behind him rapidly even as the layer of blood he had kept from falling out would burst out. If Yoruichi didn't move from there, she would likely die; that was the massive amount of damage that Moonie had focused around his body in his assault against her, the Gravity completely dispersing.

'VOI!

"MOON GOD'S SPHERE!"

He roared out, throwing out both hands. Even as he said Voi, essentially just as he got up, his Blast energy had begun to form a sphere around him anyway, creating an area of damaging material all around his body as he felt the pain from inside of the sphere, relishing it. This injury… these injuries! The words to describe them, he did not have. His excitement was so thoroughly coursing through his body that the blood that oozed from the wound that remained in his torso bled more than it would have normally, the wound completely healing up at last… but a fair amount of blood being lost.

"Cat… what cat are you?" He asked simply, having grown curious about this. He was having so much fun now; once she answered his question, he would immediately disperse the shield, preparing for her to assault him once again. He had learned how he would go about combating her; she would get to choose how to assault him and he would give HER his reply. The battle logic made sense in his head; it was never too slow for her that way, he didn't wreck himself trying to go stupidly fast and he could not keep up with her even if he tried, and she got to have the fun of finding ways to pierce him with the immense level of durability that he had unleashed in his Purity state!

However, he could definitely feel what had been lost in her attacks. Through the fight, he'd lost over 20% of his energy. That was an amount the likes of which the Moon God had never suffered lost from himself before. This woman truly impressed him, even if she was a cat. "…" His mouth opened once more time, but it was doubtful that she would be able to understand it with the rage she was feeling, or that he would get to say the words that had sprung to his lips, due to her forthcoming assault on his body. They were just two simple words, but words that Moonie very rarely got to say to anyone, no matter who they were.

"Thank you."

Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie] - Page 2 Empty Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

Mon Feb 10, 2014 1:08 pm

Song: Doomsday Machine — Artist: Far Too Loud

The impact of her punch being caught coursed through her limb with more discomfort than she would have liked. The contact of course brought rather fierce electrical burns to the Dog's hand, battling the vivacious energy that he now seemed to be made of and overall coming to a stalemate; an impasse. Yoruichi briefly wondered how convenient it was to possess that body, and if he was even receptive to the displeasure of pain. He certainly bled and sustained injuries, but his constant maniacal laughter suggested that he was finding more enjoyment out of her attacks than he was dreading them, and that was not the feeling she wanted to instill into this abomination. She wanted him to feel agony unbound, as the victims of her interrogations had once upon a time. Had they dared to retaliate against the questioning, their misery would only increase exponentially. This one most certainly was trying to reciprocate, as he attempted snap her wrist open by bending her hand back beyond what it was capable of. She responded to his strength with her own, matching him second for second with straining muscles so that he could gain no ground whatsoever. She leered at him violently and he could only give that stupid blithe expression back, only justifying the ravine-warping kick she thrust into his gut furthermore.

Within the next second her blurred form was aerial and diving onto the golden-haired mutt foot first, intercepting him with a great 'boom' before they hurtled into the earthen crevice like a meteor—Shunko's lightning and the Blast Energy conforming into a tail streaking behind them. The terrain was jostled yet again when they crash-landed, causing more quakes to tremor through the rock, producing upheavels on the cliffs above that would send boulders rolling down the steep walls. They might have as well been pebbles though in comparison to the scope of the Cat and the Dog that were warring within. They would be decimated by the sheer spiritual pressure before it could even touch them, serving little more than background scenery. Now, the sword was lodged into the ground through the stomach of the Dog, trapping him in between a rock and a hard place. He was still laughing, still, and Yoruichi could only look down upon him with disgust. Not only was he a dirty mongrel, but he was irrepressible nuisance. She only had one honor left for him, in the form of spitting on his face. The dribble would splatter next to his eye with a satisfying sound, yet no smile formed on her face. She still wanted to increase his suffering somehow, starting to twist the hilt of her sword clockwise to further disfigure his insides. However, the motion would quickly halt as Moonie's hand firmly clamped down on the blade, at the cost of new wound opening on his hand.

The series of events that followed were not quite enough to catch Yoruichi off guard. The tension in her body began to rise again immediately as she felt the effects of gravity occurring near her; she felt weighed down and unable to withdraw her sword from the hearth of his stomach, while at the same time her own spittle was utilized against her as a surprise projectile. The liquid would literally solidify the instant before it reached her due to the insane scale of gravity put on it, but it would reach its destination too late. Yoruichi was once again displaying her unmatchable speed as her body torqued to the side. The projectile would just barely glance off of the outer layer of Shunko and ricochet into one of the canyon walls, with which it would completely reshape the face of the cliff by obliterating tens of thousands of tons of rock into naught but dust and debris. It was inconsequential though, and Yoruichi certainly did not pay it any more mind despite how awe-inspiring the collateral damage was. She had another issue to deal with his rigid grip on her sword, and she already had a solution to it. His destruction would be well worth the use of it... and now was as good a time as any with Ajani finally agreeing to work with her. Yoruichi screamed something out loud, which was deafened by the demolition of nearby canyon wall, and Moonie would feel the blade slip from his hand; his hand, which would be severed to the mere stub of his wrist when Yoruichi wrenched it free.

No longer a sword, but claws of iridescent silver had wrapped around her fingers, the curved metal plates gleaming by the light of Shunko. And it was not just one hand, but both equipped by this new weapon, which she flashed threateningly at the mutt while growling. If he was observant enough, he'd see her golden hues suddenly shift to a luminous silver that swirled with sharp energy. This was not something Yoruichi had done but in a very long while, releasing her Shikai. It felt so awkward, yet strangely familiar. The sensation was strange, but they felt as extensions of her very hands. The dark-skinned woman would pause for a moment as she wiggled her fingers and looked at the way the reflection moved on the plated claws, fascinated like a youthful child with a shiny new toy. Then came the sickly sweet thought of burying these deadly claws into his flesh, and ripping him to shreds; a twisted pleasure. Yoruichi was quickly becoming a sadist, but one only had to be reminded that it was mere instinct driving her forward. The time she took to admire her Shikai after ages of latency was enough to allow Moonie the time to pull up to his feet and initiate another ability, screaming its name yet again. Yoruichi would watch as Blast swirled violently around him and tore at the nearby rock. Anything the torrential sphere touched became dust and destroyed. Yoruichi would lower her stance threateningly akin to a panther or tiger, in preparation of the pounce. She clicked the tips of her claws together delicately, creating a clean metal note each time she repeated it, just waiting for the moment to strike.

''What am I?'' she spat rhetorically, repeating his question back to him as if he should have already known the answer. Her fingers began twitching, moving through the air and causing a visual disturbance. The claws were distorting the light, the wind flow, the debris—they were cutting everything without even trying, from every angle. The tips were brimming with latent energy, just waiting to be released into the atmosphere to wreak havoc. Moonie would learn a new meaning to the word 'sharp', and it would come to him with an excruciating revelation. She was now kneeling low enough to place her left palm on the ground, while her other hung threateningly in the air, ready to claw the first thing part of the mutt it could reach. She dug into the rock with her claws like it was sand, leaving a hand print carved into the ground. ''Simply superior,'' she finally said, and her body was in motion as the last syllable reached his ears. The movements of her arms were nearly untraceable, but irregardless he would find a well-defined wave of sharp kinetic force headed straight for him. It was vertical and rippled, from which could be deduced that Yoruichi had clawed downward through the air with her free hand. The powerful swing resulted in an indirect wave of force that would clash with the swirling Blast head-on. It did not completely make it through to harm him, but it would part a large opening directly at his forefront as either side was parted by the kinetic wedge. Then, he'd feel the pain before he saw her—she Flash-stepped into the opening and lunged her hand forward, this time through his neck. This time, he'd find his flesh part away from her Zanpakutō much more easily; and he'd lose his head in the blink of an eye if he did not respond effectively enough.

''Don't seek sympathy from me, mutt.''

Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie] - Page 2 Empty Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

Tue May 27, 2014 6:35 pm

"Voi, I've never heard of a breed called Simply Superior! I'll have to ask Boss James about it!" He told her happily, the cheer having returned to the male as he watched her with a grin on his face. The look she gave him sent shivers down his spine; it gave him a rush of exhilaration that was so rare and sought after that it made the male's feet stretch, the entirety of his body preparing itself. "…" He watched as his blast was cut through, and with equal measure slapped both of his hands together, blast coursing from both of his el bows as her claws slammed into a rod that had formed between his palms, the claws pressing hard against it.

However, a clash was occurring. Her ability to 'cut' was being worn away; it was dulling and chipping at her spiritual force of division… while it itself was being cut into pieces. After all, for the force to cut it would require contact, which would mean that he blades would feel the rigidness of the Blast energy and the raw friction they carried. However, in addition to this, the claws were being held back. Moonie's Blast was regenerating itself nearly as quickly as it was being destroyed.. . Though this did not preventive small pin pricks to begin to form in his throat. He held onto the position for as long as he could, relishing in the stressing situation as the cuts on his neck began to expand, before at last Yoruichi's body was flung from his own, a massive blast of raw force emitting from Moonie's body.

His mouth opened wide as he released an exclamation. "VOOOOOOOI!!" The voi left his mouth, not the word, but the voi. At this point, there was no way to define that noise that came out of his mouth as a word or any other understandable expression. It was Voi. It was the sound that left Moonie; and quite simply, it was him, and he was Voi. Just as suddenly as the force was emitted from his body, it became clear that a surprising amount of battle focus was leaving his body; for the first time in far too long, he could feel his blood spike. Well, as the black stuff that was still pouring from his neck could testify, theoretical blood. "I BREAK AWAY!" He roared at her as he threw himself forwards, strange blades forming in each of his hands as Mun and nuM returned to his grasp, his smile wide on his face as he… vanished.

"VOI, MOON SHINE!" He called out as he reappeared behind her, performing something for the very first time. It seemed… well, strange, to be completely honest. The truth was, Yoruichi had brought out something in him; when he had forced his body to that limit earlier… it had given him an insight that he had never felt before. It was the shining of the moon high in the sky above them; for the first time, he could feel the light that it gave off, and for the first time began to realize that there was indeed a way to move around in them that was faster than Moon Walking.

However, this philosophy wouldn't be noticed by Yoruichi; the massive blade that was coming into contact with her head, descending down faster than a comet entering earth's atmosphere as it dragged down the space around it, attempting to descend directly onto her head as the other blade in his other hand came upwards, attempting to slam the massive rock into her torso and knock her aside. She could indeed attempt to cut the blades, but the Blast that had proven itself able to hold back her claws would be in the way once again. "ADMIT IT!!" He yelled at her, his body vanishing once more as he ducked forwards ,reappearing in front of her body, Blast flowing from his hands and feet.. Though he came out of it… without a foot?

He didn't notice it as he threw one of the blade's forwards into her, before his body began to float away from her, the Blade's crossing in front of him as he looked at her through the gap between the layers of Blast. "YOU'VE NEVER FELT SO ALIVE! CAHAHAHAHA!!" He emitted as both layers of blast began to… expand. The blades began to grow, exponentially, massive torrents of pure Blast energy flowing from both of the blades as they grew to an absolutely gigantic size in the Moon Iramasha's hands. The blonde hair on the back of his head was flying about in all direction, like a great starred-thing, as the blades finally stopped growing.

Two skyscraper sized concentrations of Blast, so much that it was absolutely terrifying to behold, were held in front of Yoruichi. Moonie was beginning to let out some of his true power; it was true. Up until this point, he had reserved himself from such massive attacks, attempting to get Yoruichi excited. Now ,the time was right, and as the massive black-and-purple substance grew even greater around him in density, it became obvious what he was doing. His hands began to flow towards one another, as the X was finally unleashed from them.

"MOON GOD'S CRUCIFICTION!"

His voice bellowed as the attack began to emerge from his hands, his eyes locking onto her as he opened his arms wide, completely exposing his torso and chest. However, this was not entirely the case ;after all, the massive attack that he had released was testament enough to the shielding that he had. She could attempt to cut through it; she really could. However, the problem was that the ATTACK WAS NOT STOPPING ITS GENERATION. The massive torrent of Blast flowed from Moonie's blast as it expanded outwards from him, This massive torrent of energy began to descend towards her; as it went past where she was, the X began to descend downwards, ripping straight down as the massive emission of energy descended downwards, finally landing on the pool of lava below. His body fell downwards just as quickly as he usually descended, and Blast was dispersed around from him as his body slammed into the Blast on the ground. The truth was that this entire field below here… was none other than his own battlefield.

His terrific attack had created… a battlefield. It was an absolute battlefield. There was no other way to describe it. The sheer force of the area that his body was covered in Blast energy. He laid there in the massive black hell-like scape, looking up towards her, both hands held out to his sides, the swords shining in the sheer force of Blast energy, just as it had before it released that devastating assault.

Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie] - Page 2 Empty Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

Thu May 29, 2014 5:55 am

Song: Omen [Instrumental] — Artist: The Prodigy

The screech of Yoruichi's claws bit at the ears, shrieking like chalk on a chalkboard amplified dozens of times. It was a painful sound to listen to, adding to the chaotic cacophony of the battle between feline and canine. When her hand assailed his neck, it would dig into his skin straight and true. Yet he was an entity of another element, and did not obey the laws of flesh. While she continued to put pressure through his throat, she found resistance of some form managing to keep her from fully decapitating him. There was an intense friction that just couldn't quite be overcome, and the violet-haired woman could hear the Moon Child bellowing that stupid 'Voi' word out again as he tensed his neck to a degree of the extreme. The momentum that carried over from the Flash Step had worn out by now, and she was forced to retract her claws from his throat. Her keen eyes spotted the amalgamation of his energy within the neck thanks to the hole she had created, and realized the danger just in time. She made a swift retreat, vanishing in the blink of an eye an infinitesimal moment before his black flames detonated around him. The shockwave was a little more expansive than expected, accelerating her flight and nearly unbalancing her. She would quickly smash her feet into the ground and forcibly halt her backwards movement, creating a pair of twin crevices that lined a length of 10 meters each before she finally managed to stop. Proceeding this, Yoruichi was easily able to recover and lower into a reactive stance, fully expecting a follow-up. She barely caught sight of Moonie's vanishing form, dissecting from it his newfound speed and direction. She jerked her head around and sure enough, he was there. His blade came down like a hammer.

Yoruichi would unleash a tremendous surge of energy at that moment, discharging it through the medium of her Shunko armor. It would scatter outwards from her in an electrical blast, sending one massive bolt of lightning upwards into the great blue sky. The areas around her would darken dramatically, paling in contrast to the searing white light of the explosion. The ground and walls of the fissure would vaporize as the light touched them, and everything else would be hurled away burning and smoking. As the light subsided, Yoruichi was left floating at the core of an empty sphere, softly exhaling. She figured she had a moment of relaxation to her name, but would lose it as soon as she saw him reappear in front of her. He would be definitely smoking, and arcs of electricity still bounced upon his skin, yet he was otherwise unhindered by it. With a grit of her teeth she readied herself for his second strike, and repeated the same technique in an instant. He would only be able to move his weapon a couple inches before he was swathed in lightning again, another crack of thunder echoing throughout the ravine. Nobody expects the second overcharge, and likely the mutt would be cast aside yet again. This time as Yoruichi emerged from the explosion, she was letting out a long slow exhale; the sign of someone trying to control her breathing, and someone who was beginning to feel the heat.

The statement the dog posed, just before he rendezvoused with face-melting electricity, rung in her mind. It had managed to break the animalistic cloud that was attempting to block anything positive out that had to do with this fight. She attributed everything bad in the world right now to the canine species and this Iramasha. Yet, she knew that when he brought it up, his words were true: ''Admit it! You've never felt so alive!'' It annoyed her that he was right, because she was enjoying the thrill of the fight itself. In a vacuum, the sheer adrenaline and challenge of the fight was something that would cause her to shake with excitement, to a degree she's never had with anyone else. Yet, he underestimated how much she hated this boy, simply because of what he was. She refused to acknowledge it out loud that he was right, and only relinquish a glare in his direction. She wanted to erase him from the planet more than she wanted to continue this fight. She watched him with utter hatred in her eyes, as he began amassing inconceivable amounts of energy around his weapons, and knew that it was true. His attack continued growing to a preposterous size, but Yoruichi did not bat an eye. He would release it with an epic cry, causing the surface of her eyes to reflect the blackness of his Blast Energy as it rapidly surged towards her. She would bare her teeth at the flames, as she was not able to see Moonie through it all anymore. She leaned forward and aimed herself where she could just barely sense him at the center of the detonation, bending her legs and forming a plate of Reishi at her feet, which she could kick off of at any time. The Shunko flared brightly once again; she shone like a star; she screamed out. ''You get NOTHING!''

She launched off. She was a bolt of lightning and she streaked through the Blast field that encompassed him. Time seemed to wind down to nothing for Yoruichi as she raced through the intense friction. She came up upon Moonie and clipped his side with her claws as she flew past him to the other side of the field, yet it was enough to slice open a wide wound on his torso. As her glowing form sprung out from the other side, she would swing her legs around and smash them against a thick place of Reishi that she created in front of her. Immediately she reversed her momentum and dove straight back into the field at a slightly different angle. Just as fast, Yoruichi struck him from the other side, granting him a second wound before the blood of the first was spilled. She surfaced again, this time in a different location than where she started. The process repeated again, as Yoruichi turned around and kicked off back into the Blast again. And again. And again. And again and again and again. Dozens, hundreds, thousands of cuts were being opened up on the mutt within the second, and they came so fast and from so many different areas that the spawning of Blast Energy just couldn't keep up. Every time he healed one cut, ten more would be made. And, as Yoruichi sowed her form through and throughout the explosion of Blast itself, it quickly began to destabilize and lose force. His massive attack would become undone, a shadow of its initial glory. And still the attacks did not end.

''And here's the Coup De Grâce~!'' she cried out, her voice coming from all directions due to the speed at which she moved around him. His body was riddled in thousands of cuts now, his skin ribboned and black blood flowing out from all pores. Her last attack would come from behind, the five-thousandth strike in a succession of three seconds: With her right palm facing up, she threw out an under-handed scratched up his bloodied back, her trajectory bisecting his body perfectly. She would drag it up his spine and dig in deep when it came to his neck. If there was a brain in that thick head of his, she would gouge her nails into its mass and give one final push upwards as if she were uppercutting him. An excruciating geyser of gore would shoot out from the top of his head in a gruesome finisher, and then his body would be kicked deep down into the bottom of the fissure as she rose above him. Now alone at the center of the weakened Blast field, Yoruichi swung her arms outwards with grandeur, unleashing a surge of lightning that would extinguish the black flames and clear the area in a flash. She was left panting lightly, her body steaming red mist from all of the blood that had been burned away by her Shunko, mixed with a little bit of her own sweat.

She was his Achilles heel. He was a force of friction, while she was a force of sharpness. A sword incarnate, she was able to charge through his Blast where others would stop short. Her Shikai was designed as the antithesis of his Iramasha powers, if not more than by sheer coincidence. Even if the two were of equal strength, Yoruichi would always come out on top simply due to the nature of it, just as she would always despise him due to the nature of his being.

The only question now, was whether or not he was still alive.

Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie] - Page 2 Empty Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

Thu May 29, 2014 12:48 pm

As the overcharge of pure energy hit the male, the smile on his face widened even more. The second burst, however, was not unexpected. Moonie had done something twice; seeing her do something twice should have been expected, as it had already pushed him away once. However, the true strength of her explosion was something that even the Moon God had been expecting, his body being knocked back as he roared loudly. Truth be told, the explosions were exciting him, the fact that she was able to build up so much energy so rapidly stirred his soul, and he could not wait to see how she would react to the massive burst that he would explode towards her.

"Voi…" The male's mouth let out as he released his attack, looking at her eyes, seeing the look she was giving him as he gave her an almost… cruel smile. "Whatever motivates you to fight… the more you cling to it… the better it shall be." He told her, accepting her hatred completely with a laugh as he was consumed by his own attack, removed from her visisility as her words crossed through to his mind, flipping them over, and before she launched off, shining like a star, he gave his reply.

"Then you get everything, voi. That's WHAT A FIGHT SHOULD BE! GIVING, NOT GETTING!!" He roared at her in reply as she launched, the field of Blast being peentrated through as his eyes adjusted to where her body was. No matter what happened, it could not be denied that Moonie Iramasha was an expert at handling speed users. Within his Purity, he could watch every movement she made. This held no bearing about whether he could go that fast; but his trained eyes were able to watch the beauty of her running past him, striking his side as a small cut appeared, the Blast that surrounded his body like obsidian as it refuted her assault, leaving a stone-like gash in the male's side.

Out of the back of his hair, the black void that formed his entire body, the eyes reopened, watching as she crashed into a plate of her own reishi. The male wondered how strong that plate must have been, to withstand the impact she created; and yet, at the same time, he couldn't wait. I accept everything you give me, VOOOOOI! The male thought to himself, committing it within his mind as he knew that words were useless as she shot back at him. She sliced through the Blast, she sliced through his flesh. All over the Moon God's body, rends appeared in his body, his blood being scattered as a splatter appeared around his body, taking on all of her attacks while laughing like crazy. His head was back, staring up at the sky as she took each and every strike, roaring and laughing and crying tears of pure joy at the effort she was giving him as the cuts appeared throughout his entire body, his iron-clad defenses able to little more than prevent them from being mortal wounds as his body was shredded like the Moon God had been a rock placed into a blender.

The Blast itself that encircled them was being broken down, something Moonie had never seen before, and something that he realized, slowly, was the final result of her actions. As she spoke, he smiled slightly, feeling even without seeing how much her soul was shining behind him as she raced forwards, her hand slamming into the small of his back and coursing up his body… And coursing, tearing, tearing through the flesh as the black blood covered her hand, not even able to slow it as it shot directly up from his back, the claws tearing deep towards his skull…

"Voi… how bad do you want me to keep you in mind, anyway?" He asked her, her foot slamming into his bloody back… but refusing to move, standing still strong as he looked over his shoulder at her. She rose up from him, then extended her hands out, letting out a burst of pure energy. He looked over her with his shoulder still, laughing slightly, the smile still on his face. Maybe now she could see it; there wasn't a mark on the actual back of his head… what had been pierced… was the male's massive amount of hair, with the same consistency, toughness, and color that blended in with the entirety of his body.

She was his Achilles heel. He was a force of friction, while she was a force of sharpness A sword incarnate, she was able to charge through his Blast where others would stop short. Her Shikai was designed as the antithesis of his Iramasha powers, if not more than by sheer coincidence. Even if the two were of equal strength… Yoruichi would learn rapidly what she had done by making him her antithesis.

The male was definitely alive as he looked over her, still laughing. "Voi… Do you know why I'm not moving, queen?" He asked her, using the word for female cat to describe her. In that instant, it would finally catch up to her. She was swordincarnate, she was able to charge through his Blast. She was able to cut through… but there was a problem with that… and that was the cracks that appeared all over her body, her torn flesh ripping off as Moonie's eyes stared directly at her, not even able to move. She could see, all around his body, red blood mixed in with the purple. She was a sword incarnate… and swords had a body. A body that when met with friction… caused them to dull, caused them to crack. The actual tip of the blade, the cutting part, was fine; her claws had cut through everything.

However, this was the Purity of her antithesis. His Blast was so thick that by shattering it...s eh ahd caused the entire space that surrounded them to become infused with his Blast, cutting it into the very space as the entire area became like the inside of a meat grinder. She had moved through that grinder, rapidly, constantly, creating it by super-packing it in through cutting it into itself… and this would likely result in thousands of wounds covering her body, nearly as many if not the same amount that Moonie himself had received. Maybe then she would realize why he had never moved.

"Voi… I love that ferocity." The male stated, still stuck looking at her, as he tightend the muscles of his right arm, the blood still dripping as he opened his mouth once more, his lips torn up completely from the act of speaking; he no longer had lips, his mouth was open to the world and could no longer be shut as a result of her attacks. "So let me clear this. CAHAHAHAHA!!"

"MOON DRAGON GOD'S RAZE BURST!"

The voice of the male intoned as all around his body, around Yoruichi, around the entirety of the radius of the hyper-condensed Blast, the material lit on fire and exploded. Moonie's own body was thrown up high, both arms throwing themselevs back as he slammed onto a plate of Blast that was behind his head, looking at her as he threw both hands up, blood flying out behind him as he shot downwards towards her, bringing down both hands downwards onto her head with ferocity. As soon as he landed on the ground, the male pressed both feet hard onto the ground, leaping at her, his bloody hair flying out behind him as the dog chased after her, his presence, his bloodlust finally being returned to her as he appeared in front of her in a flash, pursuing after her body as his knuckles cracked back into place, bending as claws of pure Blast emerged, lighting fires behind them as he crashed both of them into her body, attempting to slam her into the ground as he bled all about. 'Voi… I won't heal these wounds… unless you start AVOIDING ME AGAIN!!" He roared at her as he got onto all fours, pushing himself forwards as he tackled into her body, attempting to throw her onto the ground before hopping back off, a tail of pure Blast energy forming on his back as he took a hunters stance on all fours.

"So excited… So stirred… This is what I've been looking for… haha… yes…. ATTACK ME MORE! CUT ME UP MORE! DESTROY ME! CARNAGE ME! FIGHT MEEEE!" The male's calls roared towards her, the male's badly battered body obeying his orders just like always as he physically assaulted her, abandoning his semblance of overreaching attacks at last as he attempted to savage her, both of his weapons discarded, a true beast facing her now in all of its carnal desire for the hunt. The male's mouth opened once more as he began to charge her again, his attack approaching her with a challenge, one straight from the soul of the Moon God to the Flash Goddess.

"TRY AND TELL ME IT DOESN'T FEEL AMAZING!!"

Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie] - Page 2 Empty Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

Song: Omen [Instrumental] — Artist: The Prodigy

The shock of her kick would rise back up through her leg, pushing her backwards in the air as a tremendous wave of kinetic energy blasted outwards in all directions but the one she had intended for it to go. Moonie held his ground—or rather, his air—stubbornly, and turned his head to shoot her an infuriating look. It was difficult to see through all the layers and spirals of blood surrounding him, but the full force of his expression would hit her to the core of her nerves, like fuel to the fire. She would unleash her blinding electrical energy, catching him at the core of it all to further damage him—albeit what was the point of trying to burn away something that was already of such high-energy content. Yoruichi caught herself not thinking; her mind was faltering even though her body could go much further than this. She was forsaking strategy just for the sake of obliterating every fiber of the mutt's being, through any means necessary. She was not watching herself, and it was him causing all this. No matter how much damage she caused to him, he was the one winning because he was getting what he wanted out of it, and that was not acceptable. She would not be drawn over to his side of it; she would not stoop down to his level of carnal euphoria. As she saw the atmosphere around her alight with black fire, racing to implode upon her, she closed her eyes and pulled her lips over her grit teeth, seeking the depths of herself to find an anchor. She would find peace.

She rejected Ajani's hunger, pushing him out of her mind. She would refuse the temptations of his instinct, and steal away the reigns. She would take control of herself once more, dominating the beast within. Ajani's influence would grow quieter and quieter until it completely vanished, leaving only Yoruichi at the center of her consciousness. The metal claws of Yousou Eiri, her Shikai, were NOT HIS, they were hers. Ajani was tamed, and that left only one more wild animal to break; Moonie. As the Flash Goddess came to, she found herself at a sharp descent, hurtling towards the ground as the Blast's dark flames trailed off of her limbs. Her opponent was in hot pursuit with claws of dark light, set to crash straight into her torso. She would hit the ground with a bang, sending a plethora of massive stones flying off the ground and into the air, and the air around her distorting for a brief moment. Yet, Yoruichi was deafened to the sound, and numb to the pain. She looked up into mad expression of the Moon Child with her own cool seriousness, unblinking. ''No,'' she whispered to herself just before he came down, raising her hand up to him and pointing threateningly with her index claw. The silence was deafening, until... ''Ban...''

The second syllable was cut out by the world-silencing thunder that overcame all sounds, a massive bolt of lightning streaking up from Yoruichi's body straight into the face of the Dog. This lightning was not like before—if he tried to move against it his momentum would immediately halt and he would be sent flying up through the current of the bolt while layer upon layer of his body was quickly burned away; purified into nothingness. He needed to move out of the current swiftly or he would simply become no more, no matter his consistency: This was bigger than him. The lightning kissed the sky with such an impressive light that the entire expanse of the wasteland dimmed from day to night. Dark clouds formed from the energy of the attacks, quickly expanding to blot out the sun and the moon. As the clouds grew, arcs of electricity would be seen weaving in and out of them, flashing within the vapors while bouts of thunderous sounds rolled over the land. When the initial bolt of lightning would dissipate, the entire sky from horizon to horizon would be shrouded by these unnatural dark clouds, and darkness would reign.

But one bright light would stand out like never before among the shadows, rising out of the massive crater brimming with electricity of her own. Yoruichi Shihouin shimmered gloriously. She was changed, taking on the true form of the cat now: A long black tail had sprouted out from behind her, cat ears had grown from the top of her head, the metal gauntlets on her hands would have disappeared and been replaced by true claws, and black fur that wrapped around her hands and arms and legs. Her face now sported subtle whiskers on her cheeks, and if she opened her mouth one would see the sharp canines that had grown beyond normality among her teeth. She looked truly like an animal now, and yet she had found her peace, and would display just how much control she had over this form. It was Yousou Eiri: Arashitada, Yoruichi's Bankai. And Moonie would now be the only living person in existence to have seen it. She looked up toward him, displaying the way her eyes had been altered as well, to resemble a cat's eyes more than a human's. She fixed him a sharp look for a moment, before her form completely vanished.

The exact same moment she vanished, Moonie would lose the feeling in the entirely of his body below the neck unless he had unnatural foresight to avoid this. Yoruichi was in front of him, as if she'd always been there, and she had sliced at his neck with her claws, finding his body possessing the consistency of jello now. It would confuse him, as she moved differently than before. He couldn't track her because there was nothing to track as she warped from point A to point B. The act of travelling had been... cut out of the equation. But it didn't stop there. Yoruichi sent her foot into the severed body to launch it kilometers away from this position, before vanishing and reappearing behind his head with her fist risen high. She smashed her knuckles into the back of his furry little head to spike him in the opposite direction toward the crater again, with such force that he would be tasting magma from below the Earth's crust by the time he stopped moving. These two moves were almost as instantaneously executed as when she closed the gap between them, all of them in total occurring before the electrical signal of a thought could register in a human being's mind. The dog's body and mind would have been vastly separated by the attack, temporarily disarming him.

Now, Moonie's head would not be able to experience stagnancy for long, as suddenly a pocket of air burst around his head and there appeared Yoruichi along with him. There was no tunnel leading down into the mantle of the Earth as would be expected; rather, it seemed to be pure teleportation that carried the dark-skinned woman here. There was no time to dispense thought on the matter, however, as Yoruichi would grasp the bloody butt of his head in between her claws and lift it up, while keeping the lava at bay with her immense spiritual pressure. It was not her intention, but simply her sharp nature that would pierce holes into his where the tips of her claws touch, drawing more blood to join the rest down under. She looked into his eyes and searched him for something, something she didn't know. ''Are you truly this primal? Do you have no limitations, no inhibitions? Give me one reason to dispense my bias over your breed, something to stop me from putting down a mad dog as you appear.'' His words would make the difference for her, despite the disgust that was brimming in the back of her mind. He could be just another assassination job for her, and she believed she'd gladly take out the trash. Yet, a part of her wanted him to justify his existence, and his significance. She wanted a reason to override the instinctual hate she had for him.

Would it be good enough?

Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie] - Page 2 Empty Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

...no…?

The atmosphere around the Moon God had changed slightly as he witnessed the change in the one before him. Naturally, he was overjoyed that she had ascended into her final form, watching her body fall into the ground, the satisfaction of their battle coursing through his veins. Both of his arms were clawing into the ground as he looked at her eyes as she told him the word of denial, waiting to see what she would do as he began to fall downwards, her finger pointing straight towards him, his mouth opening wide as he listened…

The lightning bolt struck straight upwards, flying straight towards him. The Moon God's body began to warp, gravity being defied as his body flowed, his hands becoming covered in blast as he gripped the sides of the massive bolt, falling down it, his head still pointed towards the ground as he felt the heat of the pure energy, burns appearing on his hands and feet even despite the massive layer of Blast that was being laid upon them. All over his body he could feel the heat of her energy flowing against him, and his smile became a fixture onto his face as it became satisfied. Behind his head, where his hair was violently being thrown about, the lightning was meeting with its territory of the sky above.

If given the opportunity to, Moonie's head would turn back to behold this spectacle for a moment, his mind seeing it all… the picture becoming locked into his mind. Of all his fights, this one was one of, if not THE greatest he had ever participated in… and it had given him so much joy. He began to look back down again as he was blown back from the blast at last, his Blast covered hands stopping him immediately with friction as he landed down onto the ground, looking at the being that was rising out of the crater. At last, he realized something; the smile on his face was gone. Quite frankly, his breath… had been stolen, it had been robbed of him, and taken away.

"….Shi…?" The single syllable left… the canine's lips. For the first time since they had begun their battle, he seemed to hesitate. The bloodlust paused, his assault that had gone after her no matter what had abated for a mere instant. The reasons behind it were rather simple, for the male… and yet intricately complex as well. She reminded him… of Shisome. The ears, the seriousness, her expression. In that instant, the Moon God was reminded of something, and forced to think about something as he beheld her Bankai before himself, the bloody body of the male sitting there as his tail rose from behind him, the blonde material becoming cloaked over with Blast energy as the ears on his head became stark-black as well, bits of Blast flowing from their tips as he gazed upon her, their gazes locking for that moment, and in that instant, Mjesec Võrgukliendid realized an intricate understanding about the woman before him…

Before his vision was robbed from him. His head was cut off, the limb flying off from her blow. His arm, however, was raised, gripping the one which had just separated his head from his body as she slammed her foot into him. The male's body held onto her with a death grip as she sent the both of the flying… before releasing her as it was flown over the crater. Without further ado, it unceremoniously dropped into the depths below, the male's decapitated, lifeless head growing black where it had been blown away before finally turning into a glistening mass of black liquid.

However, in that moment where the disconnect had appeared, the Blast pouring from his neck had begun to reform. As Yoruichi gripped the slowly reforming hair, the face of the bloodied male began to reform, the magma around them begin blown aside as he looked at her, the sides of his skull being warped and bent by the slicing pressure of her claws. 'You ask if I am the primal one?" He asked her in reply, the rapidly reforming lips of darkness showing as the white eyes of the male became clear along the black portrait of his body, the gaze serious. "I have no limitations, no inhibitions." He verified for her as the Blast around his body flared up, the claws on his hands growing in magnitude as they began to pierce through her spiritual pressure, from below lava slowly beginning to flow up towards them. "I'm not going to give you a reason, because you HAVE THE REASON!" He told her, as the claws of his hands gripped onto the claws of hers.

In such close quarters, not even teleportation would be enough; the Blast of the male was holding her hands fast to his body, making movement near impossible unless she would like to give up both of her hands to the Moon Canine. His hands gripped hers as he looked at her, his right eye twitching. "You would not show me this… You WOULDN'T SHOW ME YOUR BANKAI IF THAT WAS ALL YOU THOUGHT!" He roared at her, his head slowly beginning to move backwards. "You continued to make me happy… You kept doing it! BUT YOU WOULDN'T LET ME DO THE SAME IN RETURN…" His mouth snarled, his head continuing to slide back as it finished reforming. Perhaps his words stunned her slightly… perhaps they had a reaching effect. The Moon Beast could only tell her what he felt in his heart, in his soul. And honestly, this was it.

"Is that what… Shi would have done…? If I…" And something was different. An almost sigh-like action left the mutt's mouth as a pure purple tear left his eye, cascading down his black face as it dripped off, falling onto Yoruichi's chin from how back his neck was pulled now, the unnatural gravity of the thing sticking to her. "I want to see your soul shine bright. I'm not fighting for me, I'M FIGHTING FOR YOU! IS THAT THE REASON YOU WANTED? IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE MAKING ME USE WORDS OF ALL THINGS, INSTEAD OF GLORIOUS ACTIONS, TO TRY TO GET THROUGH TO YOU?!" He demanded of her, as she would perhaps at last feel the immense, absolutely garganutan amount of pure Gravity energy around their bodies.

"AND YET… YOU STILL GET IT. THIS IS WHAT I WANTED MORE THAN ANYTHING… THIS SHINING… TO SEE THIS…! AND YET YOU WON'T LET ME MAKE YOU FEEL THE POWER OF YOUR OWN SHINE…!" It was a yell, it was a roar, it was a gutted exclamation. IT was all forceful, and all forced. The Moon's Offspring was happy. He was sad. He was overjoyed. He was angry… "SO UNDERSTAND! UNDERSTAND AND STOP LETTING THIS STUPID COLDNESS PREVENT YOU FROM WHAT I MEAN! I DON'T CARE IF I LOSE!!" He roared at last, his head flying forwards. "I DON'T CARE IF I DIE!!" He continued to roar as the grip on her tightened, her own head being dragged towards his as a result of gravity.

"BUT I DO CARE IF YOU WNO'T LET YOURSELF ENJOY YOUR OWN SOUL!!"

"PHOBOS DESTROYER!!"

The male's voice struck out as his forehead slammed into hers, his voice still crying as his soul burned, his body completely combusting in Blast energy and Gravity, the lava all around them coursing over their bodies as a tight shell of pure Blast energy appeared around the both of them, the earth around their bodies begin dragged in as Moonie's body was trapped, Yoruichi's stuck to his and the area around him as the Moon God used his own body for a M.O.O.N. attack, the very mantle around them becoming attached to their bodies as they began to ascend upwards, Moonie's flesh peeling off all over his body as he felt himself beginning to enter the critical with how much he absolutely let his power shine, the mantle and wasteland of their fight being dragged in and surrounding them for miles across, the pressure massive on their bodies as Moonie felt his entire body feel like it was ready to explode all around him, but yet they were still… 'safe' within Moonie's own attack.

His face was bleeding. From his forehead, a trail of blood fell. The attack that had been launched, if it connected, would course through Yoruichi's entire body, stunning it with the utter and raw force released by the male as it likely momentarily stunned her, before the sensation of what he had done would trigger the adrenaline from her head all the way through her body, beginning the exciting battle of adrenaline versus pain as the new moon was formed in the air above the Wasteland.

"… I used to be cold like that…" The male uttered, his body falling back against the shell that he had created, Yoruichi's hands still stuck to his head, his body still releasing the full force of its power as it continued to create the moon, and continued to make the shell around them very dangerous if Yoruichi let go of his head. "...Then I met someone like you. But… I was able to make her happy. And for the very first time… Voi…" The male breathed the word out, for the first time in the war they had been having… sounding tired. "I felt truly satisfied. My reason to live became to light up other souls with the true happiness of their souls. I have given you my absolute best...It was the least… that I could do… To thank you for showing me something so magni...ficent…" He choked on his own words, the reminder of Shisome in that power of Yoruichi's combined deafening his own appreciation. "...If I still couldnot satisfy your hatred… I've never… failed someone before… Ugh…" The man let out, wondering if for the very first time.. He had failed to make someone feel excited about their battle, make someone else understand the own wonder of their soul.

"But…. It was truly… beautiful… … voi… Thank you... I'm sorry I can't... reciprocate those thanks... properly... to you..!"

...And those were all the words the frustrated Moon God could force his throat to choke out as the moon completed, the blood covering his body slowly drying, but the tears that were slowly cascading down his face... were not.

Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie] - Page 2 Empty Re: Cats Versus Dogs [Yoruichi, Moonie]

Song: Omen [Instrumental] — Artist: The Prodigy

His head was in her grasp, her teeth grinding against each other but only managing to sharpen themselves in the process. She wanted to crush the beast's head like a tomato, and it would be that easy. Even with his gravitational resistance she held firmly onto his head and showed no signs of letting up. He clung to her arm, squeezing, struggling, yet his strength wouldn't even cause her elbow to bend. The Shunko resisted his meager forces, showing that he was clearly running on empty. Yoruichi, too, felt like her body was on fire, aching and wanting to rest, but far from finished with fight. She knew she had the upper hand, and that she was going to be able to end the mutt's life once and for all after everything was said and done. She doubted that there was anything he could say to her that would change her mind, and yet she gave him the benefit of the doubt for some reason, hesitating on the kill. Ajani's protests reached her from far down within her soul, but she ignored them, completely in control. As their powers clashed against one another, slowly expanding the pocket of air within the magmatic ocean, they stared each other down like two nations with an armada of nuclear weapons at the ready; Yoruichi vehement, Moonie tumultuous.

His answers were not pleasing and his words angered her. He said things she didn't want to hear, causing a low growl to build up inside of her throat rather loudly. It was like a background noise that kept increasing further and further in volume, nearly drowning out his dumb voice. In comparison, the roiling of the magma around them was quiet as a mouse. She wanted to hear him spit at her with all the hatred and animosity that she felt towards him, to make the choice simple for her so that she could crumple his head without hesitation. But no, he wouldn't do that! He tried to tell her that he was doing this for her, out of some sick pleasure he received from seeing her like this; it was humiliation! Indignity! Degradation! Her grip tightened, agony-inducing pressure coming in on all sides of his skull. This is all that she could see it as, and yet she felt that somehow he was honest in his intent. That's right... Yoruichi wasn't a cold-blooded killer, or a villain by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, she was one of the most laid back, friendly ladies one could get to know. In any other situation, it was obvious. But not here.

It was cats versus dogs. An age-old conflict that was bred into the genetics. Yoruichi's soul had taken on the Zanpakutō spirit of Ajani, accepting the aspects of the cat within her. Moonie took on the aspects of the dog, and that was shown in his features. They were intended to fight each other and to hate each other. The natural smoothness in Yoruichi's demeanor was gone and replaced with this antagonism, so why, oh why, was Moonie not affected in the same way? Because he was making a case for reason over instinct. He sought to pleasure her in what way he could, even as they clashed fists against fists. Believe it or not, Yoruichi had to remember that she had a choice: Two halves. She could defeat this enemy and chalk yet another one up for the feline race, or she could embrace her humanity and see him for what he truly was. Behind all that blackness was an actual person, more than just a dog. She contemplated... and contemplated, with the growl dying down. And in her thought she was interrupted by a roar from Moonie, as he launched his head forward in a full-out headbutt.

Her energy sparked back up, with a spiral of electrical energy pulsing out from her forehead just before he connected with hers. She activated the Reverse Demon just in time, freezing him in place, forehead pressed against forehead. The technique had not allowed for any of the kinetic force to course through her body, completely stopping the kick behind his attack, but now they were held together even closer. Her feline eyes glared back into his pure white orbs, and she hissed at him angrily. She was oblivious to their ascent within an amalgamation of magma and stone while she stared him down, thought racing through her mind at the speed of light while she fought against him and herself. Finally, her hiss transitioned into a curt snicker, before she shook her head. ''You don't get it! You just don't get me. What you seem to enjoy is not who I am, and I will not let you make me into that. Everything you've seen here is merely because you are what you are. It is instinct that drives my hatred for you. You are a dog, and I am a cat, and we are not friends. When this is all over, I will not look back on this; I'll go back to who I was and relax, contently.''

A new moon had arisen upon the battlefield, but so too had a grievous storm, numerous bolts of electricity threading throughout it and ready desecrate Yoruichi's enemies at her command. With just a thought, they raced down to strike at the massive floating globe with righteous fury, and the two could hear boom after boom after boom from inside it. The thundering bangs came one after another like a deity knocking on the door without pause. Every second was filled with them, and they were quickly breaking down the hulk with energetic explosions. Yoruichi's held him so tightly it was as though she was embracing him, so that he had no where to go. She didn't have much to say to him in this final moment. She would simply listen to his final, broken statements while the crashing lightning grew louder as it came closer to the moon's core. It was sad in a way, and it caused Yoruichi to frown and clench her eyes shut. It was an expression that wouldn't last long, however, for finally the capsule they were in would be busted open and a blinding flash would take them. The lightning reached them and snapped to Yoruichi's Shunko with a volatile reaction. It... exploded.

...

When Moonie came to, he would find himself sprawled on the ground. He was... alive, and in one piece, surely because of his regeneration. He could sit up if he wanted... perhaps look around if he wanted. It was raining calmly throughout the wasteland, and just at his feet was the colossal crater their fight had created. Yoruichi was no where to be found, nor any other living thing to be seen. It was almost as if the whole thing had been a dream, and the question would hang in the air as to why he had not been finished off. And perhaps, for a moment, the woman within had overridden the instinct that drove her, and she made the choice to spare him. Perhaps, and perhaps he would never find out...

"You are right… and yet, you are wrong."

Those were the words that the Moon God would leave Yoruichi with as the climactic bolts of pure lightning smashed within his reality, crushing everything there around him as he felt her grip on his body… and it was strange. It was filled with animosity, emotion… and confusion. ...Voi… This made me glad… He thought to himself, the smile on his face as the terrific light consumed his consciousness.

One day, in his darkest moments, when the world seemed bleak, unrelenting, and somber… the Moon God would look at back at this moment have a quiet chuckle.

But that day would turn out to not be this one.

* * *

His eyes slowly opened once more as he slowly became conscious once more, his eyes blinking as he looked up into the sunlight of the day. She was nowhere to be seen, but that did not matter to the Moon Iramasha. After all, it was now firmly implanted into his mind through the closeness during those final moments: it was her scent. He was still alive. That did not surprise him. Yes, they could despise one another. Yes, they could attack one another and try to rip each other to shreds. However, just as the dog needed the cat to be able to chase, the cat needed the dog to be there to chase it. To be able to exist like this was a joy - to consume one another was when tragedy truly occurred.

"...Voi… she broke my moon…" He said almost sadly, looking up into the rain before giving off a hearty laugh, happy simply by the fact of being alive. "It was a momentous fight…" It had been an event to the Moon Iramasha, one that would never come again. Therefore, the reality was that Moonie lamented a bit that it had ended, but at the same time, was more than ready to feel those kinds of experiences once more. He had truly enjoyed it. So, his back would finally splash back into the rain, his blood pounding fiercely through him as he stared up into the sky.

Now… Voi… where should I look for my next fight…?
