It is morning as the sun heralds the time dreaded by students who attends the Karakura High School. The day remembered as the game changer for chances of moving on or having to repeat the courses. To some, it is a fork in the road for their friendship as it decides if they stay or not. That day is called, the “Final Review Week.” At the school, some students and delinquents are finding their way to the front gate with a sour face of exhaustion from waking up so early to get a good start. Behind them was a girl who stands at five feet, seven inches and her figure seems delicate like the other girls before her. Her head was hanging down as words from the book clutched in her hand passes by and by. Wish~ wish~ wish~ her chocolate hair was pacing back and forth as she walks to the school with clip~ clip~ clip~ from her chocolate loafers’ heel. In her mind, she was asking for a miracle as she has no time to study last time and her brother prevented her from doing so. It was raining last night as the girl can smell the raindrops hanging around her, in the air all around her. While she walks continuously with her nose in the book about a perverted doctor and a gender confused nurse girl, her grayish-blue skirt flutters around with life while weighing itself down to hide secrets while her red tie wags side to side while embraced by her seemingly full bosoms. Even though her figure looks delicate from afar, her exposed thighs are a given hint that her body is not so fragile with her thighs are toned well while her butt was proud-like. Either she has exercise or she was more violent than she appears. As if it was a keepsake, a blue blouse was tied to a sash around her average waist. From between her index and middle finger, the girl slips out the bookmark for her current reading and slips it into her book before looking ahead to the front gates of Karakura High School, the beginning of hell for students like her. In fact, she is the only student who will have that trouble, so she stashes away her medical drama book and faces her nightmare of what they called, “Final Review Week.”

...this place again... Len thought to himself, looking up at the building before him. He had today off work; and as summer was approaching, had decided to go see what other people his age did before they got out of school. However, there was one thing that he hadn't been expecting this morning, as he turned around...
To see a bunch of large guys his age moving towards him with open books and notes in their hands.
They weren't even looking up at poor Len as they ran him over, pushing him in front of them, the yellow-golden haired boy pushed along by two of them. They didn't seem that smart; in reality, they were mere delinquents, and hadn't even noticed the boy between them as they pushed Moryukuna Len up with them to the school building.
As they began to reach the front gates, Len finally shook himself free. He landed on the ground with an "Oomph!" As his legs caught one of the men, Len unprepared for what was about to happen as his olympic-strength leg caught the big guy. He stumbled straight forwards, before shuffling up off his feet and staring down the much smaller human. "Ah... um... I'm very sorry..." Len said hastily, getting on his feet and bowing in apology to the guy. He just looked at Len with narrowed eyes, before eventually sighing and looking back at his book. "Your lucky it's Final Review Week, punk." He said, before turning back around and walking out.
"A-yup... just another day in the life of me..." He said sarcastically to himself, standing up and dusting off the case of his tablet, which was strapped to his side as he looked behind himself. "I'm sorry..." He said, bowing to the people in front of him, most of them just walking right past the blue-eyed boy...

The girl checks her pocket watch from her right breast pocket and notices that she is only early by an hour. Why she would go that early when she could get some sleep? She hardly has any when it comes to living with her family. She stashes away her pocket watch as she notices an unusual character. A boy with golden blond hair and blue eyes with a shine in them, no way he is normal as he does not where the uniform of a student. With him getting caught in the stampede, the girl cannot help, but to pursue out of curiosity. No matter how hard she tries to push through the crowd, the crowd is too thick and she was just a housefly to a swatter, easy to get knocked down and bashed around. At one moment, the delinquent that the boy accidentally tripped was clearly wishing to beat the boy to the pulp, but he discards him to continue his studying. The girl can understand the gravity of his situation as she overheard him last week about having to pass the final or end up being a janitor instead of an electrician. The way he is dressed, the way he acted, different from what she usually sees. While people are passing by, the girl approaches the golden boy’s side with curiosity in her face while her eyes dims with the shadow cast by her hair as she tilts her upper body to the left with arms vectoring down to her hands clasping each other over her crotch as if it was a form of protection. Her mouth gaps open with the words to follows out of her tender lips that shine with smoothness.
“O-haio, sir? Are you a student here?” The girl speaks without a smile and yet not with a frown either, a curious face of innocence was obviously what she displays with her eyes scholarly opened and lips loose and ready to ask questions yet keeps its awe evident. Judging by her soft voice, she is not all that confident either. She shifts her left foot to the left as she slides in front of the boy and straightening herself with her hands still clasping each other in front of her crotch. With that view, her full bosoms look bigger than it used to because it was lifted by her arms while her legs are almost paralleled with each other, other than her left shin that deviates, making her left foot point to the forward-right instead of straightforward. Her light breaths flows from her lips to the boy’s nose with a scent of rice and a salty sauce, curry possibly; thankfully it is not a strong scent, so it could be a light, yet odd breakfast.

LEN, LEN, LEN, LEN-LEN-LEN WASHI
Len, still rubbing his head from his fall, looked up to his side as he suddenly heard a voice speaking to him. His own blue eyes made contact with the girl's at his side, as he blinked. "Erm… Hola. A-hahaha…." He laughed softly, as he pressed on the ground, tossing him up to his feet, his black and yellow vest waving as his shoes tapped onto the pavement. "I don't… actually attend school. I've got a job that I do in place of it." He answered her question, closing his eyes for a moment as he scratched the back of his head for a moment with his left hand as he took a look at the girl before him. Hmm… Doesn't look like she could be more than a junior; although she looks already like she'll develop back problems growing up; and looks like she's trying to defend against… me…? She shifted in front of him, and his nose caught a whiff of her breath, as she had probably already smelled his lemon-scented hair.
"What exactly did you have for breakfast this morning?" Len asked, his normal attitude of curiosity leading him right to the point. "And ah.. Before you ask, yeah, that is lemon you're probably smelling… it's the shampoo that I use." He explained, placing his hand back to his side and sliding it into his pocket as he himself glanced down. ...I really have to stop taking my swords everywhere… He thought to himself as he realized… that Goldrender and Freddie were on his left and right sides in their sheathes, respectively. Freddie, the larger of the two, showed just how focused those brutes were. They hadn't even noticed the sheathe poking into them.
"But anyway… My name's Moryukuna Len; no last name. What's yours?"

Strangely, a lemon scent arrives to her nose as the girl blinks in synchronization with the boy’s blink by chance alone. It was a sweet smell that reminds her of her childhood where she has lemonade during a hot summer after she came back from elementary school. Back then, what happened there made her heart sink and yet the girl likes it as if it was a moment of a happier time. “Erm... Hola. A-hahaha…. I don’t… actually attend school. I’ve got a job that I do in place of it.” The boy replies to her question, though with the soft laughter, the girl can tell that he was nervous. Maybe her approach was too sudden for him? Did she scare him? With the knowledge that he does not go to school and works at a job instead, the girl widens her eyes a bit in surprise that there is a kid who is not given the chance of education. He took a while to scratch his back head and look at her as she shifts to the front. The girl feels scrutinized by him, but the scent contradicts what would be a rude personality into a kinder personality. It was unsure for the girl to tell what he was thinking.
“What exactly did you have for breakfast this morning?” The boy asked. The question causes the girl to look off to the side and at the ground with a blush on her face and her right hand gracefully covering her mouth. It was the curry that she had for breakfast because she does not have much available during the rush and she cannot touch some of the food for a reason. “And ah.. Before you ask, yeah, that is lemon you’re probably smelling… it’s the shampoo that I use.” The boy explains before the girl could recover from a slight embarrassment of having him smell her awful breath. “I-It is the rice and curry… I have to fix something up quickly and not much food is…” The girl answers the boy as she sounds apologetic about her breath, but cuts herself off when she is about to say a reason for “not much food.” Perhaps she is not one of the better-off folks like most students. What caught her eyes are two swords, one larger than the other, which makes the poor girl more nervous. “But anyway… My name’s Moryukuna Len; no last name. What’s yours?” The boy asks the girl. “U-uhm…I’m Tokumoto Ayame…You can call me Moto-san…other students do because of my status.” Ayame reveals herself, but was vague about why people call her, “Basic.” Considering in a society where everyone’s complicated in their good ways, being called, “Basic” would be an insulting nickname.

Len saw her widen her eyes when he said how he went to work instead of school. She can think what she wants… but that's the way I live. He thought to himself, watching her reactions just a small amount. Derp… I think I just embarrassed her…
"And what exactly is wrong with rice and curry? That sounds fine by me. Honestly… I don't judge people much." He just said, sagging his shoulders a small amount with a small smile on his face, as he realized that most of the kids had already gone into class, leaving just the two of them standing outside the hall. 'And nice to meet you, Moto-san. Would you mind if I just called you Moto?" Len asked, his posture straightening a small amount. Why would she… … Other students….? He thought to himself, his gaze hardening a small amount before returning to normal. "Naw, scratch that. What would YOU like me to call you; not those other students." He spoke clearly, not wanting to scare the girl off.
"...Because you have a right to your own name. And if you don't want that; then you don't have to have it." He said, his own mind reflecting at his past as he picked at the inside of his pant's pocket. His eyes glanced back up at the girl. "So, what shall I call you?" He asked her, one final time. People judging others… for something out of their control… makes me so sick…! He thought, having made his own hypothesis for why the girl's classmates had given her the nickname they did. His usual smile wasn't to be found on his face right now; speaking about this matter, especially, was nothing to smile about to him...

After hearing that he was not the one to judge, Ayame feels a slight relief. However, the relief ends when she too notices that most of the students are in class and she already lost two minutes of study time. “And nice to meet you, Moto-san. Would you mind if I just called you Moto?” Morukuna Len asked with his posture slightly straighter and a smile that tells her that he is not going to hurt her. Ayame bends down to bow with respect and was about to say goodbye, but Morukuna Len stops her with his voice, “Naw, scratch that. What would YOU like me to call you; not those other students.” That made Ayame short, yet sweet hiccup with a slight surprise while she is shocked with eyes wide opened and mouth in a dumbstruck. Ayame was in loss of words because she was not asked that before as the students somewhat shoved that accursed nickname on her for her being a special need student. She keeps her head down to hide her surprise from him while her blush radiates from her cheeks. Her breath was suppressed as she can feel her heart picking up the pace. She was hesitant and nervous beyond words as she was frozen and she feels herself being cold in the summer daytime.
He asked for what can he call her by and yet the feelings are holding back. Years of being called, “Basic” and in the end of Junior Year, she was asked for a nickname at least. In her absent-mindedness, she forgets about one thing as she tips over forward into Morukuna Len and in attempt to recover her footing, she shifts her left foot forward, but it was too quick as she accidentally twists and lands on the boy who was sitting in front of her, revealing her flustered face and her eyes that begins to show loneliness as if she was like Morukuna Len somehow, but she does have a family, just something was wrong with them. Startled, Ayame attempts to fly out of Morukuna Len’s reaching range. If that’s the case, she bows to him and leaves him, running with the feelings. But if she was caught, she shows him that she is quite nervous as if giving what she wanted to give was a bad thing somehow. Maybe something in her life made her that way and Morukuna Len can choose to find out what.

He watched as she froze up after she bowed, blinking to himself. Erm… is it that strange…? He wondered, seeing her flinch away slightly. His eyes widened as suddenly she tipped forwards, shooting up himself into a standing position as he caught her in his arms. He was at a loss for words, strange for the boy who was determinated in anything he did as he saw her face.
"Are you alright?" He asked, his voice clear as he helped her straighten herself. "Whew…" He sighed, releasing her as he let his arms rest at his sides and nodding his head down a bit, before looking back up at her. "...Do you have something holding you back from giving me your name?" The yellow-golden haired human asked the girl, looking right at her in the eyes, trying to get the truth. "Because you can tell me. Like I said; I'm not one to judge… and I hate it when people are being surppressed by others who have no right to do that to them…" He trailed off, glancing down, troubled for a moment, before looking back up at her. "Please, tell me your name. … Especially if it would make you feel better. There's nothing wrong with it."

While Morukuna Len is off on his own again, Ayame was rushing to her class while thinking about what Morukuna Len asked for. Time after time over thousand times in a second, a hum rings in her ear in a harmonious melody too hard to make references for it and her heart still pounds while in the middle of the hallway on the second floor, she looks out the window and sees the boy is no longer there. In a way, that feeling of loneliness torments her as punishment for running away from Morukuna Len. Her breaths are faint as she breathes her hardest to rejuvenate from her rush through the empty hallways with ambience of students in classrooms studying. Flipping of pages, words between strangers who are helping themselves and here Ayame stands by one of many windows facing the front of the school, wondering if there is a chance like that again. If there are infinite times, she would eventually open up? If she talks now, will he hear her? She looks down and grits her teeth with eyes glazed over, “No…I guessed not.” With her left hand clenched and right hand on the window pane, she is losing the battle the moment she failed to tell Morukuna Len that she wanted to be called, “Aya-san” or “Ayame” at least.
“Moto-san! There you are!” A boy student calls out through the hallway. Ayame snaps out of her daze and looks at the boy with a blush on her cheeks. “We know the Finals will be a huge undertaking for you, but we are still worried about you since you did not come as early as anyone else.” The boy tries to comfort Ayame while coaxing her to follow him to the classroom. Still thinking about Morukuna Len, she is still speechless. The boy grabs her by the right wrist and leads her to the classroom like a young kid running while holding a leash to a sleepy dog. Flailing to keep her balance, Ayame was being dragged through the hallway and into a classroom where Ayame’s math teacher, a young man with a gaunt figure and round glasses while his black hair was short and combed to the front. “Take a seat, Moto-san. You’re not late as I have nothing to lecture on. Why am I still working instead of playing with my daughter?” The math teacher complains. The boy flew through the classroom with poor Ayame bumping into desks left and right while tripping over some delinquents who just ignores her as she passes by. By the time the boy is seated, Ayame’s face is on the floor as she slowly gets up with her right wrist still clutched by the boy who was excited about something. “Let’s quiz each other! I’ll start!” The boy says to Ayame while she takes an empty seat.

...Oh no you don't. Len thought to himself as she walked away from him. You are going to tell me your name, darnit. He decided, gripping his fist as he followed her. He moved through the gate flawlessly, unsure as he always was why it let him in with no problems. In reality, this was due to the fact… that he was actually registered to go to school here, the arrangements having been made long before by his uncle.
He followed her, watching as a boy grabbed her by the hand and led her along. ...Did she ASK for you to do that, you creep…? He wondered, burning a small amount in his mind as his teeth gnashed together. He followed them, slamming open the classroom door. He completely ignored the teacher as he watched the guy literally drag her on the floor, his eyes opening wide as his teeth pressed against each other, seeing as she sat down.
He walked right for her, picking up his tablet case and slamming it onto her desk, looking her right in the eye. "When I decide I'm going to do something… I do it. Please, what is your name?" He asked her once more, staring right at her and waiting for her response, his eyes briefly glancing at the boy next to her. His temper nearly flared, his eyes giving off enough raw intimidation to make most wild beasts rethink what they were doing. However, he didn't speak to the guy; he wasn't going to do that unless he started it. Mongrel… He thought to himself, the word strangely coming to his mind from almost nowhere; and yet, it fit perfectly…
