James Mizumuzi
James nearly chuckled at her reaction; after all, she was just like a young kitten, to be honest, and it amused him how she reacted when he took his hand away. He had no problems with putting his hand back and giving her another head massage, hearing how she purred. There was little doubt left in his mind; she had somehow mimicked the likeness of those around her for long periods of time, although James doubted that this particular addition would be of much harm to her.
It did seem to him, though, as she reassuringly licked his hand, that she was not the one totally in control. While she may have chosen to allow herself to be this way, this seemed different than her personality, or what little of it James knew. She seemed much more dynamic, more alive; almost better he would say. But considering it was he she was imprinting off of, his opinion didn't much matter to be honest. Will you, young kitten? He thought to himself, truly wondering if she would actually be "fine". However, her reassurance in her actual voice did some to ease his mind; if she didn't view herself as a burden, then in all likelihood she would not be.
He removed his hand as she slowly got off the bed, wandering down the hall out the door. He then laid back himself with a sigh of relief, staring up at the cieiling with his long blue hair strewn all about him. However, he wasn't to have peace for very long as he felt very gentle fingers brushing against his arm. He popped one eye open, blinking at Inanna as he heard her mental voice in his mind. He sat up in his bed, rubbing one eye and thinking. Alright then. He said in reply, turning his hand around.
His palm pointed up at the ceiling with his middle finger being held back from laying flat by his thumb, pointed directly at the slightly open door. He released his middle finger, as a single drop of water formed on it, flicking it outwards past Inanna and onto the open door, causing it to close and having its lock mechanism frozen in place, the ultimate "Do not disturb" sign as well as allowing James and Inanna to give them some time.
Well, now that we've both helped the other get some rest.. He sent the message via mind link, including the images of when he had found and saved Inanna, as well as th more recent image of Inanna singing the lullaby. Would you mind terribly if we rested together? It'll be much warmer than if I were to rest alone. He thought, being simple and logical about the situation. He knew Inanna could easily leave if she wanted to, but he was pretty sure she would prefer to get some rest first; it had been a long day.

Moonie merely looked all around his room, basking in its glory. "Voi…" He said in amazement, looking all around it as Inanna began to clean up. Moonie thought that it was perfect, just perfect. However, the thought did not ever occur to him under any circumstances that Inanna would grab his tail. His entire body froze up at the touch; his tail was an extremely sensitive area and while Inanna didn't grab hard, it was still uncomfortable. "Rrrr…" He said, slightly growling from instinct until he saw Shisome in front of him. "Voi!" He said in surprise, blinking and taking a step back as he saw she had ears that poked out of her head… and a tail that was swishing around behind her. She's like Boss James! Moonie realized, his eyes wide as he looked at the ears on her head.
Moonie couldn't help himself; he reached out a hand and touched one of Shisome's ears, rubbing it to see if it was real. James never let him touch his ears or tail; he was extremely sensitive about them and did not like them in general, much less other people touching them. But Moonie had always wanted to, ever since the day they had met. "Voi! Shi you got a tail and stuff just like me!" He said aloud, his own larger dog's ears flapping slightly as he stared at Shisome's ears in wonderment, before shaking his head and retracting his hand. "...Voi I shouldn't have done that. Did it hurt?" He asked, knowing how sensitive his own animal bits were. However, there was one thing he had to know. "Shi, how does it feel to have a tail?" He asked her, knowing how it felt to him. It was like someone had attached a whole new variety of muscles to him, muscles he could feel as his tail was wagging furiously behind him, right in time with Shisome's.
After all, he was happy to see her too.

Inanna had let out a soft smile. She had to find him into their room, but it didn't matter : she understood him more then most. After all, they were two of the elements that worked well together : because wind and water made storms, and made rain. Clouds, and water. Such a beautiful symbiosis, and their twin regards was as if it was almost meant to be. The girl just watched him ice over the lock of the door, and shook her head with an amused smile. James was sure willing to conserve her with him : she had no idea why, but he alwaysloved their company. With a shake of her head, she acquiesed his demand, slowly bringing him to the bed, and slipping them both under the covers. Curling up against him, her arms went over him like wings : if anyone could've seen it, they would've easily made the comparision to a bird nestling a cat. And it was pretty accurate as well. For Inanna, it had been a long day : she craved rest, but the Nature Shaman often always had something to do. After all, the care of her fellow Nature Iramasha was important to her : and as their primary source of health and well-being, she knew better then anyone what to do with them. It was a soft, almost happy touch, as she just snuggled her twin faced companion with a bit of abandon. Normally, Inanna was so reserved : but when James asked her to cuddle with him, the bird like girl couldn't help but crave it a bit. It was strange, but she didn't mind this aspect : after all, it was James. It was a good, soft thing, as she knew her mind drifted to sleep quickly, letting herself float in that darkness. And knowing that James was right there in her arms. [Exit Inanna and James] |

The girl let out a soft noise as she saw Moonie, her really open eyes taking in his reactions, as a small smile had touched her face. Her ears flicked as he stared at them, and she blushed softly. She felt so vulnerable and open right now it was strange. And when Moonie's impetuous attitude let him reach out towards a ear, she wasn't scared. But the second he touched it, the girl let out a long mewl, feeling her face blush hotter. ''Myaaan~!'' she said, quite loudly even as the air Iramasha had left towards James. Shisome didn't mind : in fact, she'd rather be alone with Moonie right now. At his exclamation, she nodded, feeling her tail curl a bit. ''Y-yeah I do have a tail now, nyan.'' she said, unable to keep the cat noise out of her speech. But.. in a way, the black haired girl didn't mind : the kitten like mind was truly trying to help her. And then he moved his hand away from her ear, and she let a half-relieved sigh, and a half-longing noise. ''No. It felt really tingly.'' she said in a clear voice, reassuring his feelings. But then he shot another question to her : he loved asking things, as Shisome blinked and nodded. ''It feels weird, like a bunch of new things I couldn't do before. But it feels nice too.'' she said, giving a light smile. She was freely speaking : not the mental speech she had become characterized for, but actual speech. That must be another side effect to the kitten side of her. Curiously, Shisome's hand rubbed one of Moonie's dog ears, much like one would scratch a dog, smiling happily as she got closer : that's when she looked up. ''Myan! Your room is up there, Moonie?'' she said, her tail swishing curiously. Without much thinking about it, the girl pushed off the ground, and floated into it, landing on the floor with a small thump. ''Voiiiii.'' she muttered softly to herself, before the girl stopped. What? Had she.. just said Voi? She hoped Moonie didn't hear it. Seriously, she hoped he hadn't. The girl felt her tail change just a bit, and saw it was bushier : no longer long and sleek, it starting waving like a dog's tail. The girl stared at it, as her ears were a bit more pointed : not as floppy, but like a higher breed of dog. Without ado, a dog part of her mind had the sudden, intense craving to chase her tail. ''Narg! Moonie how do you control this!'' she said, suddenly shouting, throwing her hands in the air. Her body was shaking a little bit : she was using so much energy, so fast, as her power was more or less out of control. That's what Shisome had figured was going on, as she twitched. Dammit, she really, really wanted to chase her tail. |

The Moon Iramasha was glad to hear that Shisome was alright with it. He noticed her speech and how she spoke mostly out loud, instead of the constant auditory quiet that Moonie had had to deal with ever since he had met Shisome. His tail began wagging slightly faster as she smiled, glad that she was feeling alright and then stopping and starting again with renewed vigor as she rubbed one of his ears, his eyes lulling back into his head as he enjoyed the sensation. “Voi.. Tingle...y...” He said, before shaking himself as she looked up at his room. He didn't notice her tail, but merely replied “Voi!” As he rose up into the air with Shisome.
Moonie then blinked. He thought he heard something but it must have been the wind. It didn't make any sense for it to be the wind but that's what Moonie figured must have happened. He could have sworn he heard someone say Voi and seen Shisome's lips move; but that wasn't possible in Moonie's mind, it didn't even cross it until he blinked, watching as her tail became slightly bushier.
A strange look started to come across his face. A curved smile came across it, followed by a mischievious light in his eyes as he watched her now waving tail, before blinking as her ears elongated, becoming even more pointed than before. And then he could sense, not hear, but sense her urge to chase her tail. Dogs, after all, can only make nine different sounds of bark; the entirety of their communication happens in bodily language. Moonie wasn't aware he was doing it, but he was subconsciously picking up on the little clues of the shaking of her body, even if he only heard Shisome shout and see her hands go up.
“Control? What's that taste like?” He asked, before he finished preparing himself and leaped forwards, knocking Shisome luckily onto a couch. He smiled as he reached his head down, nipping at her tail before barking and leaping back a bit, sitting on the ground and watching her, a huge smile on his face and his tail waving where she could see, having allowed his instincts to take over as he often did.

She felt so strange, so hyper-aware, as suddenly Moonie tackled her. The girl had begun retreating inside of herself again, so the tackle was a surprise. She wriggled, and let out a yelp when he nipped her tail, twisting a bit more. Her own tail was thumping angrily as he slid off, frustrated with her lack of control, as her ears split back a bit. The girl let out a low growl, as she closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down. Slowly, she relaxed, as the tail and ears slowly faded, leaving the girl to her normal self. With a gentle sigh, she rolled onto her back, and stared at the ceiling. Several things were made clear, as she closed her eyes. ''Ne, Moonie.'' she asked, her voice echoing suddenly into the room. It had been quiet for about five minutes, as the black haired doll looked over. Her crimson eyes were a bit teary, as she seemed lost. The girl was shaking a bit, as she felt very strange right now, tears starting to run along her cheeks. ''I'm not a burden.. am I?'' she said, very softly, and almost innocently. In a way, right now, the ever changing emotions and fluctuations of her power had left her normally strong mental state weak. She felt strange, but she understood something : that the way she was moving wasn't necessarily the only way, and that she could expand a bit more. But that was still scary, considering the memories in that book : what were they? She had no idea, but she understood that the book had showed her something primal : and that something else had tried to take it away. It left her with half a sense of understanding, and that to Shisome, was perhaps the most frightening thing. And in her own way, she understood that relying on Moonie might not be so bad. |

Moonie blinked at Shisome as she calmed down, somewhat disappointed. However, he sensed that he should calm down some, as he slowly sat up, before standing up and walking over to Shisome on the couch, looking down at her. "Voi..." He said simply, after she had said his name. He was starting to shake a bit from the lack of activity; five minutes was a LONG time for the Moon Iramasha to wait for something.
He blinked as he saw hints of tears in her eyes. He wasn't used to that; but it almost made him feel closer to Shisome, because except while she was terrified he didn't think he'd ever seen her like this before. He blinked as she asked him if she was a burden. His head tilted slowly at her, blinking over and over. "...Shi, voi, you're no burden at all." He said simply, thinking about heaving around giant moon rocks. However, while his comparison may have been skewed, the meaning was the exactly the same. He didn't find her any kind of burden; she was nothing negative. "Voi, you're the best friend I've ever had, Shi. And I've carried you before; you're just fine." He said, reassuring what he had said at first, looking down at Shisome beneath him, seeing the sorrow on her face. "...Voi... Did I do something wrong?" He asked, worry crossing his face now, hoping he hadn't done anything to make her upset...

The girl's tears slid down her cheeks. He was weird as always : even though he probably didn't catch her real meaning, there was a gentle smile on her lips. Moonie meant well : and Shisome just felt something so vulnerable inside of her. She hadn't opened up to anyone since the loss of her parents : she might look friendly and talk, but she hadn't really let anyone in. Axel had gotten in a bit : but she had run away before that could cement more. Her fingers lifted and touched his cheeks, before pulling him tightly to her, close. She could feel his warmth, and his heat, as her eyes slid closed. She could only remember briefly, and scattered, like petals thrown to the wind. But Shisome knew one thing : she had to learn, and she had to understand. And Moonie's kindness, and willingness to see her happy was touching : she couldn't help but respond to that. It was something so earnest and honest, that it was impossible not to respond to. ''Thank you, Moonie.'' she said softly, keeping him close to her. It was nice and warm, and she liked it. Softly, her head nodded off. With a hand wave, she indicated the bed. And with a soft sigh, the wind picked them up both, and put them on it. The black haired girl snuggled up to him, and let out a soft sigh, breathing out. The human felt her body like lead, and simply snuggled into the male. ''Just a bit tired..'' she whispered, before she was asleep again. It was true : her body was in a weird state, as she let herself drift in her mind, like a dancing butterfly. She wondered : was she dreaming that was the butterfly, or was the butterfly dreaming that it was human? Drifting, further and further into sleep. [End Thread!] |
