What a night..
James felt a peaceful smile on his face as he shifted, curling up in his own bed into Inanna's lap. He himself was actually purring; he was a good ways into his Nature Cells; and being so sleepy didn't help. He shifted, trying to make himslef comfortable, his eyes closed as sleep came heavier and heavier to him. Thanks... Inanna... He said to her over the mindlink, that peaceful smile still on his face. He faintly heard Moonie and Shisome getting up and Shisome forcing Moonie to leave the room; however, he really doubted he'd remember much of where they went in the morning; he was extremely tired.
He put his arms out in front of Inanna, his hands resting out on the bed as he stretched his legs out, beginning a consistent purr as he got himself into a very comforable position; although there were no covers, he still felt alright with his present circumstances. He himself was too sleepy to set up anymore sleeping arrangements, as he began to fall to sleep, the peaceful smile on his face and the subconscious purr in his throat...

Inanna just smiled at the girl's shyness : and Moonie really liked her. The woman kept playing with James' tail, softly petting him : the twin with her face. It was certainly something that surprised her, to be honest, but it fit. She softly ran her hands in a petting motion, soothing the ruffled cat : she knew that he was probably out of sorts, but it happened rarely to be honest. It had been a full nighter, and Inanna smiled, knowing James to be from Egypt. So she began to sing an egyptian lullaby, as she remembered their people, and the gentle songs from their past, having travelled around Sumeria. Her fingers still kept their relaxing pattern. Once he fell asleep, the girl just used a very light breeze to shuffle covers onto him, and just relaxed her body. Having been at war, often led to uncomfortable situations. So she was used to such things and never got stiff. So for now, the girl herself began to snooze against the headboard. [Exit of Inanna and James~] |

(NO I WILL NOT DEAL WITH IT)
Moonie blinked as he felt Shisome suddenly grip onto his wrist. "Voi?" He asked her, glancing over at the human as she tugged him out of the room. He looked over at her as she let go of him, an odd look on her face as she asked him to take her to the library. Moonie's own head tilted back at her, his long , spiky blonde hair hanging off his head as he tilted it to the side.
"We have a library?" He asked, a completely blank look on his face and in his red ringed eyes as he suddenly burst to life. "VOI, that's right!" Moonie exclaimed, slamming his fist into his open palm. "Right this way!" He said, grabbing the human by the hand with a happy grin on his face as he turned to the side, walking into the door as he pushed it out of his way, knocking it softly against the back of the wall as they entered a room with a couch, a coffee table in front of it. Moonie, who didn't know how to read, merely shrugged at the books that lined the front and side walls as he leaped over the couch, landing squarely on it. He smiled as he moved a finger, bringing a book titled ASTROMONY AND ASSOCIATED MYTHS off of a top shelf through his gravity control, making it float and spin while closed in front of him, right above the table, as he waited to see what Shisome wanted in here.

The blonde seemed confused, and for a singular, terrified moment, Shisome felt her heart drop. What if they didn't have a library? Then her asylum, the one place where she could hide, would be non-existent. She loved books : dearly, and almost voraciously. The sudden slam almost made her jump, and then she was grabbed and suddenly dragged towards the library. Stunned, she watched as Moonie opened the magical door : and in the moment she stepped into the room, the girl froze. The walls were high : the entire area.. was like the library she had always wanted. Her fingers drifted across book covers a strange look on her face. ''I am home..'' she muttered softly, almost inaudible : the books were her family, her dear loved ones. And she even recognized a majority of these books : she had to speak to whomever ran this place. A lot of these books she had searched for, ever since she had lost her parents. Going back to their home, she had found it ransacked of books : it had saddened her.. but again, she began to wonder where they had went. And she was glad : that she had found a great number at her caretaker's house. But there was always half of it missing. And they were here. Her face was light and gentle, almost floating, as she took out a particularly precious book : there was no lettering on the spine, as she walked back towards Moonie, her face so expressive it was surprising. Taking his hand, she brought him to a couch, and sat down, leaning against him, bringing the book in between them. ''This.. is a book I had been looking for. My family.. died. And a lot of our books went missing : I found most of them at my caretaker's house, but the rest has disappeared.. I wonder who found all of these?'' she spoke. Her voice rung in the silent library, as she ran fingers over the book. The best part is that this was an album, no reading required. Her fingers touched, as she smiled again. ''This is a photo album : they would take photos and place them in here, so that they can be seen later on.'' she said, describing it to Moonie. Truth was, she was scared to open it. Something in her heart was trembling, as she didn't want to open it. There was a shaking feeling, like something that would make her sad if she opened it. With a somewhat confused smile, she opened the book. And then, without warning, the world went dark for the both of them, as something odd seemed to be happening. |

Moonie was able to feel, through the mind link; he wasn't sure how, but it was most likely how the sheer stream of thoughts STOPPED. He spun his head around, the book remaining floating where it was, a concerned look on his face. "Voi?" He questioned her, before she suddenly seemed to change before him, announcing that she was home. How can a room of books be home…? That doesn't make any sense at all… I guess she means the Nature Iramasha base. He said, coming to his own conclusion with a smile, nodding his head and feeling very smart. "Well, that's good. Voi." He added for good measure as he watched his charge move amongst the volumes.
He watched as she picked up a book, Moonie blinking, his face wondering what was going on. She had a look on her face that was more than the normal cold steel she gave off; her gaze was almost… soft. Like my hair… Moonie made the connection, not meaning for it to be humorous in any way. She took his hand and drew him back over to the couch, as she set him down, and leaned on him, bringing the book towards him. Moonie wasn't really sure about what was going on; after all, he knew nothing of story times, or kids for that matter. All he knew is that he felt very warm and comfortable next to Shisome as she began speaing once more. And then she started talking, and he himself realized something, that strange calm feeling he had at the amusement park over taking him once more…
"Voi… we aren't that different then… neither of us has a family. And I don't know how these books got to be here; either… I'm sorry, Shisome." He said as he leaned back on her, trying to comfort her as best that he could. He blinked, as she began speaking again. "So they somehow were able to freeze time like your reflection on the water and turn it into a square?" He wondered, knowing little about cameras or photos were; the only thing he had to go off of was what Shisome had just described to him.
He wasn't sure why, but he could sense some kind of… fear coming off of Shisome as she held it. Being a dog with his nature cells, he was sensitive to emotions such as fear, although he normally wasn't paying attention to it. Her fear… smelled like something weak, but something that had a strong hold on her, regardless. He wondered if she really wanted to open this book. But… Voi, she's been so happy since she got in here… He thought, looking at her as she opened the book…
And his entire field of vision went black.

Darkness was everything and all, and yet it faded away quickly, revealing a small house at the edge of the woods. Karakura could be seen in the distance, as the sight shifted, seeing a pair of man and woman, the man with deep black hair and sparkling blue eyes and the mother with hair so fair that it hurt, pale white skin and enrapturing red eyes. The two seemed to be smiling at the figure where the vision was stemming from, as others were visible : all of them with the same black hair, the pale skin and enrapturing eyes. In fact, it seemed all of them were almost alike : sibblings of the person that was looking. Hearing a voice giggle, they turned to the side, seeing someone that looked exactly like Shisome: actually, they would be so if the other's hair was longer. ''Shisome, what are you doing? You look lost.'' spoke the girl, her voice almost exactly like hers, as the vision seemed to tilt a bit. ''I'm fine Shimekiri.. let's go join everyone.'' said the girl, her hand grabbing the other's. Their strides walked towards the family, as it seemed to be happy of sorts. But slowly, at the edges of the vision, there was a dark red that creeped along the sides, like a ghost that was invading the premises. A dark sort of aura, as for a simple second, everything was distorted. The world blurred into blood, and into sadness, as the face of a snake and piercing red eyes invaded the mind. Something was buzzing at the edge of hearing : like a fly, it was just below the human register and it was strange. But yet, it suddenly came into focus, as the world was the library again : and the sound was the scream that left the black haired girl's lips. A scream of sheer, and absolute terror, as her body dropped the book, the picture of a family of almost all look-alikes staring back up at them, almost cheerfully. Her fingers were shaking : the screaming stopped, but tears hit the ground with violence, as the girl was up on her feet. Suddenly, she had to be far, far away from here. Her feet exploded off the ground with a strength that wasn't her own, as Shisome ran from that room, the vexxing images swallowing her mind in a whirl. Something was fighting as a dam started to become open and overflow, her red eyes almost blank and yet not : a duality that struck like a cord of mavolence, and yet it was pure innocence shattering beneath finger tips, her long dark hair whiping across the hallways, running, running. Always running away, never facing it : there was no need to face it in ignorance, in delusions. There was no need to feel the pain, and to feel the hurt if she just forgot : a delusion was safe, a delusion kept herself sane, as the girl tripped, her eyes churning as they closed. Her mind, turbulent was welcoming the darkness, as her body smashed into the floor : it was sudden and sickening, as a crack was heard. There was no blood, just stillness and darkness. A darkness that seemed to move off her very body and swallow hope all around it, a creeping despair that only she knew. |

Moonie merely blinked in the darkness for a few moments; it was strange. He felt... at home here. He understood why, at least; he had always been in the darkness of the moon, so it was a natural feeling to him, as well as the night sky that held the one thing that had brought him to life. His eyes began to blink as a small house appeared. He didn't recognize the area; he hadn't been to Karakura that often. He saw a man and a woman in the distance, and he blinked. They looked almost familiar to him, but he couldn't quite place it. Then he looked down, and realized that there were Shisome's... everywhere. SO MANY SHI'S! He thought to himself, blinking as he moved to take a step towards them, but saw they just got farther away from himself, so he stopped, looking towards his Shisome. He blinked, his sensitive dog ears picking up their words. Who's Shimekiri...? He wondered as he blinked once more, totally lost as he looked closer at his own Shisome.
However, he then felt a malignant aura. ...w-
“SHISOME!”
He called out, his hand reaching out towards her as the entire area became distorted. He felt like there were snakes, running all along his skin, stopping his hand as he reached it out towards Shisome, his eyes wide as he tried to reach out to her, fighting the bonds on his arm but unable to. He heard her scream as his right arm dropped head, blinking at her as he processed a scream... a scream from Shisome. A cruel sound, one the likes of which he never, ever wanted to hear ever again as he heard the next sound; a book hitting the ground. He saw her running, and his powerful legs hit the pavement as he threw himself bodily after her, trying to stop her, to comfort her, to save her from whatever horror it was that was binding its chains around her and making her this way. Of course, he didn't put it nearly as poetic. His thought process was more along the process of VOI! WHY IS SHISOME SO SCARED? I GOTTA STOP HER!
He saw her tripping, as his eyes opened wide. He threw out his right hand, as from it shot a huge blast of gravity. The entire base had its very foundations shaken as it tried to move along the path of the gravity strand; but it moved too fast, as it shot over to Shisome, trying to push her up instead of down as she descended onto the ground. His eyes widened, and Moonie's feet came to a stop as he heard that sickening crack as her body hit the floor, much lighter than otherwise would have been but still in that same amount.
He had come to a skid, leaving huge burn marks over the floor as he dropped down to his knees, reaching down for Shisome's right hand as he picked it up. “V-Voi.........? S-Shisome... Shisome! Shisome! SHISOME!” He called out, repeatedly, over and over, worry full over his face as he called out to her over and over, his friend, the one he'd promised to take care of, as he merely blinked down at her. He was incapable, truly, of crying; he had only done it twice before in his life, once when he had looked at the earth and another time with Shisome.
However, this was a different feeling. A strange kind of dust fell from his eyes as he blinked repeatedly; a dust from the energy of the moon itself. If Moonie had eaten it or gotten it in his head to ingest it, he would have gotten a revitalizing boost from them. As it was, he merely flipped Shisome upside down, laying her head down in his lap as he looked down at her, the dust pouring down from his eyes to the girl below as he waited, thinking frantically of what to do but his mind paralyzed, having no idea what to do. He had never had to deal with anything like this before...
and he was frozen, terrified for the first time in his life. For the first time, the Moon Iramasha experienced fear.

A warmth touch. But it was swallowed in the cold of the darkness. The feel of something soft was replaced with the hard of the darkness. But slowly, the girl's head rose, her long black hair falling over her face. Her fingers slipped to the sides of his face : yet they were unusually cold, and her eyes were not able to be seen, due to her hair falling all over her face. Her fingers dug into the warmth flesh of the dog type iramasha, as her body slid : the darkness was more now, almost invading the very room, as her face was mere inches from his. Her breath was barely noticeable, as she was still, as if something kept her solid for a few mere moments. The girl was imobile on his lap, and then she slowly rose. Her body jerked, as suddenly, her head violently twisted, her hair flying out of her face mostly, but leaving strands. It was almost creepy, as those red eyes were blank and a smirk quite not her own on those lips. ''I see. So you are the one.'' spoke a voice from her lips. However it was distorted, as the pupiless eyes of the girl stared at him, the foggy red like dried blood. The girl just sat on his lap, her fingers gathering some of the dust, with a strange face, almost mocking, as she tilted her head. ''... Are you even normal?'' she said, her voice half-mocking. Although the voice and eyes weren't Shisome, the rest still was, as the finger with the dust softly plopped into her mouth. With a shiver, it ran across her body, as the girl leaned against the blonde haired male, letting her breath slip out. ''I.. s-see.. far.. already.. ha..'' the voice muttered, as her arms wrapped around the male. ''Take.. to rest.. bed'' it said, simply, before the girl slumped again, but still holding onto the male, as the darkness seemed to fade. |

“SHISOME, ARE YOU OK?” He roared to the limp girl in his arms, as she began to stir. He was thankful, very thankful for this... but he soon found out it was to be short lived. He blinked, his eyes unsure of what was going on as her fingers found the side of his face, his eyes looked straight into those of the girl right in front of himself. He didn't notice the darkness that had invaded the room; after all, he was more concerned with Shisome at this moment... That and the fact that his sixth sense sucked. Then she jerked; her entire head twisting, as Moonie clamped his hands on her shoulders, wondering what in the hell was going on. Not that he wondered that phrase exactly. It was more like: SHISOME WHAT ARE YOU DOING ARE YOU OK?
And as her face focused on him, his eyes widened; as he blinked repeatedly at her. “Shi-Shisome?” He asked her, his face an unusual expression for the Moon Iramasha. He had said he would protect Shisome; but he doubted that this was part of protecting. What do I do...? He wondered, before he saw her speaking. And she was smirking; what was this?
“What one? Where's Shisome?” He asked the girl in front of himself. His instincts were sharp; after all, he was more dog than he was human-like. He could tell that this... person in front of him, while in Shisome's body, was not truly Shisome. It was something else. Something he did not like. Something he wanted out of her. All this raced through his mind as her fingers reached and gathered up the dust that had come from his eyes, as she asked him a question.
He didn't like it. He wanted to slap this Shisome across the face. VOI. GET OUT OF HER! He thought, his right eye twitching as the thought of Shisome being mad at him for it being the only thing that held him back. Moonie's eyes widened as whoever it was picked up the finger that had the stuff that came from his eyes and put it in her mouth. Voi...? He wondered, not understanding anything of what was happening. He felt lost; he felt there wasn't anything he could do. He was a simplistic creature; one that normally lusted for the battlefield, for the rush of the fight; however, this was one fight that he could not rush into, and it frustrated him. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know what he COULD do.
As her arms wrapped around him, he merely stared at her face with an uneasy look. He didn't move; after all, this was a foreign presence, not the Shisome that rode on his shoulders. The Shisome spoke... and then went limp again, as his instincts spiked that this was the normal Shisome again. His eyelids lowered in worry as he licked her cheek like a dog, not knowing really how to react and allowing his nature cells to help him before standing up. If she really needs it... He thought, carrying her BACK to James' room and opening the door, laying Shisome down next to the sleeping Inanna and James, before sitting on the floor and watching all three of them; a guard dog of an entirely new variety. The reason he did this was because...
...he still didn't know where his own room was.

Her body had slumped over during the time that stuff happened, James curled up against her, as she held him softly. The girl was on her back, as the Moon Iramasha added the black haired girl to the bed. Almost subconsciously, she reached out, and pulled the girl close to her, as the human was shivering just a bit. Inanna's brows furrowed, but relaxed, leaving the trio to sleep for a while : it was almost like a peaceful family scene if one thought of it. For Inanna was the center : James was curled up in her side and Shisome was curled up in her other one. It was only right to claim the Air Iramasha as their mother : for she was their Care shaman, and mostly aimed to help them recover, and heal. She also watched their diets, helped them with their problems, even their homework. In all, she was a good person : even if someone treated her with dislike, she didn't seem phased, and simply smiled kindly, gently at them. As if she was not effected by the darkness without people : a saint, in other words. Slowly, her eyes opened, as she slowly slid up, however not disturbing the two sleeping forms one bit. Strangely, her awareness was immediate : that part of being sleepy was stamped out of her. Not surprising, if one took into account the fact that she had served in almost every war ever. Her gaze landed on Moonie, and then on the human. Concerned, she placed her hand across the girl's forehead, and let a breath of her air into her body, analyzing it. Lifting her head at Moonie, she could almost see the anxiousness rolling off him, and the Cloud Iramasha softly, benignly smiled at him. 'Moonie.' she said through an Iramasha link, centered to him alone, as she tilted her head at him. 'I feel your worry from here. She's very important, isn't she? Well, you don't need to worry : she is simply exhausted, probably mentally and emotionally. Nothing is physically wrong with her.' said the Care shaman, however, her brows furrowed. 'However, I noticed something odd about her : her inner structure is starting to resemble a Nature Iramasha's. Which is odd, considering she is human. Have you used your powers around her, perchance?' the woman asked, a sort of suspicion in the back of her head. If she was right, then this child would require training : she sensed a sort of mutation in her body, the air told her that much. Each exhaled breath told her more, as the Cloud Iramasha pulled together her vast knowledge. There have been adaptation type humans before, and yet, this was to a greater extent then she ever imagined. Perhaps.. this girl would become her own race, with a mix of a great many. It was a tempting thought for those of power : but Inanna was worried for her. And yet.. she was glad that Moonie was there, as she knew for sure he would guard her from such people. But how long before something took her away? The Cloud Iramasha was unsure. |
