The Moon Iramasha gave a great sigh of relief when Inanna told her that Shisome was going to be alright, at least physically. He was worried, still, greatly worried that whatever it was that had come over her before would try to do it again. That thing that he didn't know what it was, didn't know how it got there, and didn't know how to deal with it. It also didn't help that he didn't know how to send images through the mind link that all Iramasha have; he only knew how to send words.
“...Voi. She's very important and I promised that I would take care of her... and she still...” He said, strangely for him at a loss for words as Inanna continued speaking. “...Voi.” He said simply in response to her question about whether or not he had used his powers around her. This meant yes; but the moon iramasha wasn't just someone to say yes like that. “Let's see... we jumped off of a giant ride, had floating hair at one point, there was a floated a book near her, and I think I once leaped around while carrying her... oh, and turning into a dog a bunch. Voi, I don't even notice when I do stuff around her.” He said, almost with a smile; because he knew that Shisome typically showed more emotion while he was using his powers than anything else.
She had shown it when they had fallen from the tall ride; she had walked with a commanding presence when he had turned into a dog, she had become slightly caring and sleepy when their hair was floating around, and he knew what had happened to her after he had floated the book. All too well. However, the stuff about inner structures went right over the Moon Iramasha's head, as he blinked, looking up at Inanna.
He explained to her all the things that he had seen since they left Inanna and James alone; going to the library, finding a strange book with what looked to be Shisome's everywhere inside of it. Being dragged into a darkness that had a bunch of Shisome's in it, also, but also something horrible that had made Shisome scream and run away. He told how he had tried to stop her from hurting herself, and held her in his arms after that; and then the strange words that she had said, a person that was not Shisome within her body.
And then he fell silent, merely looking down at Shisome still with that worried look in his eyes. What would happen to the girl he had charged himself to take care of? That was the only question going through his mind at the moment; no others, as he realized that there was nothing he could fight here. He could only watch and wait... and wait...
...and wait...

Inanna listened to Moonie. He was.. unusual compaired to the other Nature Iramasha. But it suited the woman just fine. After all, she understood him at a primal level, as her fingers softly touched the girl's black hair, petting it. Her face had frowned in her sleep, but Inanna's actual voice was wavering : the air around them was peaceful, as if she was singing a lullaby, but in a way that there was no words, only air. It was unique, but the girl's frowned face slowly relaxed, as Inanna's attention was on the blond Iramasha in the room. 'Alright.' she said, once Moonie was done explaining, as she slowly removed herself from the bed. Her fingers touched the sides of his face, before taking his hand gently. 'Moonie, sitting here and fretting won't do much. I will tell you one thing you can do : we can find your room, so that you remember where it is, and we can start making breakfast for her and James. That sound good?' she said. The Cloud Iramasha was still using the mental link, in order not to wake the sleeping figures : in their sleep, she held a small giggle when James, ever the cat, found himself cuddled and snuggled with the black haired girl. Warmth was warmth, she supposed, as she softly reached a hand to rub the side of Moonie's head, like scratching a dog's head. It was a way for her to ease his worries, and Inanna would happily distract him from such, if only for a small while. She was sure by giving him a goal, and something to do, he would become less worried and work for that sake. Moonie meant well : but he was just a newborn puppy, running around on it's too big ears. So.. Inanna would love to guide him for a bit : let him discover those feelings that the dark haired girl was springing up in their beloved pup. After all, she was their mother : she cared for all of them, and noticing the girl's changes, knew that she would have to speak to James : perhaps even go to the Iramasha Council itself in order to get help. After all, a human whom's very own structure was mirroring a sub-races, but not deviating from human standards was rare. It was to the point that that mere human girl, could survive in space simply by being friends with Moonie. That was mind boogling. And Inanna knew it was too much for just them to handle it. |

It was strange, the Moon Iramasha thought. He had never interacted with Inanna much, but he knew her position in the Nature Iramasha. Not that he really understood what her job was or what she had to do for it. So he couldn't really understand why she wanted to help him and Shisome. He knew she was trying to help; he understood that fine. And being what he was, he just accepted it, nodding to her and agreeing with her words.
“Voi!” He said, his voice moving as if to shout it as normal, but he realized halfway after opening his mouth that he shouldn't shout or else he would wake up Shisome and Boss James. Who he looked over at now, blinking. His boss was... twitching. As if uncertain; he didn't know where his source of warmth had gone. For a moment, he reached for Shisome, but stopped suddenly, as if there was something wrong, before he turned around on the bed, curling up into himself and slightly shaking. He blinked at his boss, a slightly worried look on his face.
“...Voi, What's wrong with the boss?” He looked over, asking Inanna as he felt her scratching the back of his head, slightly relaxing at her touch. He knew nothing about what was going on with Shisome; only that she was his friend and needed help. SO, after a few moometns, he stood up, blinking at Inanna as he moved towards the door again. “Alright... Voi, I think it'd be somewhere where you could see the sky.” He said, knowing that the boss probably wouldn't put the Moon Iramasha somewhere where he could not see the moon.
So he reached for the door handle, looking back at James and Shisome one more time before walking out with Inanna, hoping she knew where they were going. After all... she lived here.

Suddenly, light. The Water Iramasha's eyes opened up, blinking as he closed his eyes again, before opening them slowly again, seeing that it was morning. He slowly rose from the bed, his hand pressing down onto the mattress as he looked over, seeing Shisome next to him but no Inanna. It was strange, he thought; it felt like something from himself was almost.. missing. But he shook his head, knowing he had to keep an eye on Moonie, getting up as he loked at the door and blinked, seeing Inanna and Moonie walking out the doorway as he throw himself from the bed, glancing back at Shisome and seeing that she was alright.
He breathed out, before adopting a slopning gait as he followed after them, setting a hand on Inanna's shoulder from behind. "And where are you two going?" He asked her, blinking at the Cloud Iramasha. He simply sounded curious, knowing the base like the back of his hand and finidng it odd that theyw ere going off together. As far as he knew, Moonie didn't look hurt; as it was, James knew nothing about what was being said between them. After all, they weren't including him in their mind link. He didn't know what they were doing, but he halfway wanted to find out so that he could be reassured they wouldn't do something like blowing up the entire base.
However, he was still groggy, his eyes blinking slowly as he looked at them, before taking a big yawn, realizing that he was still in his daytime clothes and halfway wishing he had worn his pajamas; but this was his room, after all; he had just had... visitors.... that kind of made it that he couldn't change.
...He quickly threw his right hand up to his nose as felt something trickling down it, preventing his blood from the nosebleed that he had just gotten from the thought of Inanna and Shisome in the room while he changed due to embarassment as he prevented Inanna and Moonie from seeing it, blinking at them and waiting for them to answer.

The woman laughed softly, but the laughter was really gentle. Moonie was all sorts of fun : she did wish that the male would come see her often, as she scratched the back of his ear, like one would to a pup. She also saw what was going on with James, and shook her head. She didn't know either, unless she considered that he would know it wasn't her. But that was kind of rude to the black haired girl, whom was also curling up, as if something bad was inside of her dreams. Before Moonie could say much else, she had eased him out of the door : that way he wouldn't be more worried. When James touched her shoulder, Inanna's hand touched his softly, as she turned around to face him. She opened a second mind link, and kept it seperate from the one with Moonie. 'James, stay with the girl. She is human, but her insides are like ours. Something is really weird with the girl, and Moonie's worried so I'm going to distract him. I'm sure you can handle this, and also, you may need to go see the Elders : because it's almost like she's adapting to us. She needs to know how to control it as well : and that's where you would come in.' the mental message was rapid and quick, as if there was little to no time before Inanna smiled. ''We're going to find Moonie's room James. She is asleep so you should change.'' she said, answering his verbal question, and also keeping Moonie from being suspicious : not that she thought he would, but Inanna was doing little things to protect her dearest Nature Iramasha from more pain. And after saying that, she bowed and took Moonie's hand, heading down the hallway to find his room. |

As he felt Inanna's hand running on his ears, Mooonie felt his eyes slightly slipping up into his skull, the smile becoming peaceful on his face s he completely relaxed. James blinked at Inanna, listening to what she said with a thoughtful look on his face. She's adapting to us... He replied, tapping the bottom of his chin. Hmm... I suppose... although fro the sounds of it, it's something that we really should keep in house. After all, it's only us that she's becoming like, right? The more people that are involved in something like this, the greater a chance that someone would want something out of her that she most likely would not want to give... hmm... Give me some time to think on the matter... He replied, lowering his finger as Moonie turned around to face the near twin-looking Nature Iramasha.
”Very well...” He said with a yawn, reachig up his right arm as he stretched, walking back over to the bed as he looked down at the girl sleeping there. He moved his hands along the covers beneath her, as they slid easily out from under her like water would; before James pulled them up and over her, laying them flat, turning around to see that Inanna and Moonie had left the room, before he felt his body shifting. He was now in his pajamas as he stretched once more, his eyes closing as he stretched, before calming down once more and sitting at the foot of the bed, turning himself around as he sat indian style, facing Shisome.
His elbows were on his knees, and his hands formed a small ring underneath his chin that he rested his head on, looking down at her in a thinking position. More like us, eh... He thought to himself, as he embraced the different situations this could induce. Moonie... I told you to protect this girl. So... In the end, it is your call what you want us to do. You're faithful... but there are some things you just don't understand. And now this little chick, still stored in her egg, is preparing to hatch. What kind of a world will she hatch in...? One of pleasant or harsh light? One of frightening or soothing darkness? Any world at all? What will happen... He mused silently to himself, feeling as he increased the temperature ever so slightly in the room, making it more comfortable for Shisome as James laid himself on the end of the bed, holding himself up with his left arm as he continued to watch her... and think...
Meanwhile, Moonie was being guided down the hallway by Inanna. His nose suddenly sniffed, before he stopped moving, Inanna's grip not being enough to pull him as he waved his head back and forth. “Voi... Lady Inanna, up there.” He said simply... and pointed right at the roof. He felt himsefl floating up, before pushing on the ceiling tile... as it came loose, and Moonie continued to rise upwards, knownig that Inanna could fly, primal instincts about her sky nature reassuring him. He rose into a... strange looking room. It was lined with a strange gray substance, and there was a crater on one end. Inside this crater was a mattress, plainly visible to the now blinking Moonie. “VOI! I think I found it!” He said happily, his tail wagging back and forth, before turning back to Inanna. “Should we go and get Shisome and put her up here then?” He said, blinking.
...If she's becoming more like us, she'd be more comfortable in the top room. So I would actually recommend bringing her up there to rest. James' voice echoed into Inanna and Moonie's heads, as a strange object floated down from the ceiling. It was a blue ball of ice, from the looks of it, with cuts for eyes and a nose. This was what allowed James to know that the top room had been opened; the room that only himself and Akisame knew about... the original constructers of the NI Base.

A beautiful head of black, the strands of silk running on the sheets. A gentle face, a peaceful face. A doll like quality to her very being : a beautiful, ethereally haunting child. The fingers curled a bit, as her entire body moved, letting out a soft breath. It was a long breath, as if it had been held in. There was the light sense of time : a sort of shifting, moving momentum that caused things to inch like a turtle. There was a sense of being and time, and more so, of tranquility and peace. A look so rare on such a girl : it seemed almost wrong, and yet perfect. It was endearing in it's own methods, as her body shifted again, curling a bit tighter, almost cat like. But there was a light shaking : more and more, as if something deep was taking root, taking a big hold. It was shaking the gentle doll back and forth, slipping like on wet water. It was a strange movement, but it was strong, and it was moving like a whirl. Deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole Alice goes. The girl's fingers uncurled, as did her frame, as her body stood up. A single hand went to rub a sleepy eye, crimson blood orbs landing on the blue haired male sitting near by. The blanket slipped off, as the girl looked at him, one eye half-closed, and the other being rubbed. Slowly taking her hand away from the eye, as it had curled her fingers inward, like a cat, that gaze stayed on him, rather then wander as it had a moment ago. Tilting her head, the doll like girl parted her lips, and a soft noise came out of her. ''Nyan?'' she said, simply. It was a curious noise : a noise made by one not quite awake. But it betrayed a beautiful, gentle innocence that made it seem almost heart-rending. A human that was smiliar to a nature Iramasha : that was a question that was pressing. Slowly, the girl shifted to her hands and knees, long straight black hair flowing like a river, as she crawled towards the male. Slipping her legs under her, sitting on her feet with knees forward, she straightened up, looking at him. ''Nyan.'' she spoke again, as if confused, but simply sat there, as if waiting to be addressed. And slowly, out of the top of that black hair, a flicker could be noticed, as two adorable black cat ears slowly flicked up, twitching. The tail uncurled behind her, swishing a bit, as she gave a sort of lost look to the male, but tilted her head. Almost as if a new born kitten, she looked at the elder cat with those crimson eyes.. and the stamp of a innocence so darkly pure that it hurt. It was a contrasting innocence to Inanna : where hers was pure and full of light and warmth and love, this innocence was cold and lonely. And it had one more characteristic, that most of all defined that innocence. It as a sad sort kind of look. |

The thoughtful look in the Nature Iramasha's eyes did not vanish as she arose. He was thinking about something, thinking about what exactly she was doing here, existing here. What her purpose would come to be; because James believed that for nearly everything, there was a purpose. He easily took note of her lithe actions as she rose, and began to notice the behavioral patterns she was exhibiting.
Finally, she let out a noise. James' eyes narrowed slightly, then widened again, as if asking her what more she was going to do. Then she crawled over to him and his gaze faced downwards, lookign at her as he pondered what exactly was going on. Finally, the ears and tail appeared, as he blinked once, his right eye clipping open a bit more and the right side of his face grimacing for just a moment, befoer calming down again. He calmly removed oen of his hands frmo under his chin, reaching it up as he placed it on Shisome's head, rubbing her behind her ears with the curious look on his face, before stopping and removing his hand.
It seems to be wholeheartedly true. James realized as he watched her. Somehow, she had copied his nature; a nature that while he did not welcome when it was unsuspected, but a natuer of his nonetheless. Just from being around him, it would seem. ...This could be dangerous. Very dangerous. He thought as he looked her over, thinking about it to himself. With an ability like that... and she only being a human... I fear what would happen if soeone of malignant desire to decided to pursue her. His eyes narrowed slightly, clearly troubled. And that would make Moonie feel...
He sighed once more, before petting Shisome lightly on the head again. If she really was like him and his nature cells, this would suerly calm her down and relax her, as he knew it did for him. "Mreh." He said simply, as his own ice tail stirred on the back of the bed. "Mrooooooow." He said once more, wondering if she would catch the tone in his voice. It was a voice of worry; a worry that was directed about her. Not one caused by her, but rather worry for her. If she understood this, then that would be three pieces of evidence, enough to confirm...
She could imprint on Nature Iramasha, at the very least. This reflection was also based on what he had seen from Moonie, but this would undoubtedly confirm it.
And with that information, what could James do... These thoughts were his as he exained her, as if looking to her for some kind of answer. He thought it bad to show her to the rest of the council; he knew what Ketsu and his ilk were capable of, and could easily see the trying to abuse her strange gift in some malignant way. The best thing to do would most likely be to hide her...
...and train her.

His eyes were on her, the blood orbs watching his reactions, memorizing them instantly. Like photographs, she caught his entire set of movement s in mere moments. The black haired girl had remembered the ice tail, and easily had associated with it. Cat mind, she could easily call it, as she noted a reaction. Adverse, but yet thoughtful, as a hand started rubbing her head. A soft, happy look touched her face, as she let out a soft purr, small and delicate. And then he stopped, causing the slowly closed eyes to shoot open, with a sort of curious and half-hurt look. ''Nyan!'' she let out, insistent. She had liked what he had been doing, and in her half-awake state, she couldn't even bother lacing together words. But the feeling was clear : it was basically telling him hey, I liked that. He was troubled though, so she softly got closer, as he rubbed her head again, purring. She really liked it : it felt really, really good. With an eye half open and the other closed, she tilted her head, nuzzling his hand. ''Mreow.'' she responded, a strangely soothing, serene tone to her voice. His worry was clear, and she licked the palm of his hand, as if to comfort him. In a sense, she was not in control, but simply let the imprint of a cat take over, flowing through her comfortably. It was warm, and thoughtful, and she liked that. The girl looked at him, with that crimson eye of hers, as if to soothe his worry. And she slowly curled her hands around his wrist, as her eyes closed. ''I'll be fine.'' she spoke, for the first time in his presence. Her voice was like crystal : flowing and melodious, it felt like water had found air and mixed into an ethereal moon. It was just a gentle voice that often people got mesmerized at : for her small frame, she had a truly clear and beautiful voice. The girl looked up from her nuzzling, and smiled, a very gentle smile : it was easy to see why Moonie was so protective, with that sadness and yet that soul touching smile. ''I'm plenty strong. I won't ever, ever, be a burden.'' she said softly, her voice still flowing like a gentle wave. There was an immense tranquility to the whole thing, as she smiled, serene. Still a sad touch, but serene : it was almost weird, but it fit. The black haired girl let out a soft hum, and moved a bit away, her ears flicking. She looked curious, and then slid off the bed, her steps leading out of the room, as she seemed to be following something. Closer and closer, until she looked up, and saw Moonie's face. ''Myan!'' she let out, a bit startled, but had a small smile on her face. Of course, he'd probably notice the cat tail and ears right away, as the tail started swishing. A lot. She was happy to see him. |

The girl stopped the second she understood that the blonde's movements stopped, tilting her head at him. She wanted the dog Iramasha with a sort of fondness, as he seemed to be finding his room. She understood that he needed to find it : it was the same with any new Iramasha. As he floated, the girl simply let go of her adhesive air, and floated right up with moonie. Seeing him happy made the look-alike smile, as James said something. Shaking her head, Inanna simply smiled. ''Let her wake up first.'' had been her suggestion, as the air Iramasha just looked around the room, and cleaned up a bit, humming a small tune. She already sorta understood Moonie, and once it looked not so dusty, she smiled. The girl had floated back down, when she saw the girl, her eyes widening a bit. Tugging on Moonie's tail, she brought him down face to face with the girl, whom reacted, admittedly cutely. Inanna let a smile touch her lips, as she wandered over to James, her fingers touching his arm. 'Should we leave them together?' she spoke softly, her mental voice for her look alike alone. Inanna had a primary understanding : and she knew how James thought. Honestly, she didn't want the girl to be abused either : however, Moonie wasn't the best of teachers. But she understood something : that Moonie and Shisome's bond was strong, and that would definitely help the girl. Even though she felt a sort of bond with the child, maybe she and Moonie would need time. She was sure that watching them, James would relatively understand : plus, he needed rest, and so did she. The Air Iramasha just gave a gentle smile, waiting for her beloved leader to come to this conclusion as well. After all, they though a lot alike, and she knew that.. so she wasn't worried at all. |
