"I'll become stronger one of these days...Just you wait!"

{ENTER POST}

It was one of those days. Where the shitty weather had filled Karakura city.

Of course by this time the citizens would have already finished their shopping and such, to prove this, house lights could be seen glowing from each house. Luckily enough there hadn't been a storm strong enough to arrive and cut out the electricity. It was just pissing down with rain really, flooding parts here and there, but of course. You can't have a quiet city as busy as Karakura, even with the weather like this. It was dark, yet then again the time was nearly midnight so who wouldn't blame it? All that was able to give light was the lights from the lamp-posts, houses and the high advertisements from the huge building within the city.

Even with all of this going on, everyone wore a smile on their face, as if it were no big deal at all. I mean, rain was just rain? Sure it was hailing it down badly but everyone had a home right? Well, that was wrong. Rin Okumura didn't really know much about himself other than his age, birthday and name. He had gone through a whole lot the past few years which soon made him homeless. He had gained a lot of money during his time at staying in care from the jobs he performed and chores and such.

Some people may of heard the name from when the police were after him a year or so ago when he had escaped from the Care home. He had, at that point of time no where to go to, or no family to turn to. He didn't even though his mother who died giving birth to him. Nor had he ever questioned where he came from, he just wanted to know who exactly he was.

Using the money he had earnt, Rin had spent the last few years not renting a home as it'd would of taken a lot and he could barely even scrape living in one for a month with the bills, fees and what he had to buy to keep himself alive for that.

So instead, he had spent that time casually checking in and out of hotels and such, maximum two weeks each hospital. He put money aside for clothes and food as well as washing supplies so when you get to know him. He was quite a wise kid when it came to money and such, rather than someone who'd spend it randomly on sweets. But as each month passed what he had saved had slowly lowered until the time came where he couldn't even spend it on getting himself a shelter and such.

It wasn't long from today he had only checked out his last hotel, he had just enough for food to last him and hadn't really thought about getting a job. Shame to say, no one was hiring, but of course that was a month ago he actually had time to check. As he walked down the soaking wet paths from the rain of the city of Karakura he stopped every now and then to look in to each shop window. He looked a state to be honest, his hair was dripping with rain as well as his clothes that stuck to his body, his skin was pale whilst his eyes looked as if he hadn't slept for weeks. He could barely even walk without his legs shaking.

He didn't know what to do right now, where he'd spend the night and such. But by this point, he had just walked by some sort of pub, he didn't want to enter it as he thought he'd be underaged and not to mention him entering a pub in the state he was in would attract unwanted attention. Although somehow, he felt as if he should enter it. Yet again, that could be his mind calling just for shelter.

Turning to the right of the pub to walk down a alleyway as the rain hit him hard on the face he soon sneezed before coughing, he was more than certain to get a bad cold soon now. It was freezing out, even for summer yet it was a day just like winter.

He just wanted to take a break is all...

He soon found himself sitting by a wall down the alley-way, placing his head on his knees trying to rest. Slowly, drifting of within the land of dreams.

The rain. He'd always enjoyed the rain. Despite the image that it gave of depression to the world, the water that poured from the heavens felt cleansing to this Shinigami. It gave him no end of pleasure to feel the sin wash away with the waters that flowed down the streets of Karakura. Despite everything that had occurred, he still believed his path to be the right one. He had no regrets, only mistakes to be washed away by the rain.

After assisting Koichi with the Kokuryuteshi Commanders, he had felt himself in need to a walk like this. Just a moment to think. He had finally met his replacement, Zane. The kid had the ability to make shields, which was something, at least. But Dai hadn't gotten a proper chance to test him. Had the man held some kind of bodily defense, then Dai would accept and approve his taking over of the Stone Cross.

At this, Daigoro couldn't help but chuckle in the falling rain. He raised a hand up to his forehead, wiping pieces of hair off of his gigai's face, staring out into the distance. There were never any people around, not during the rain. That was something else that he could appreciate. There was peace, even with the sound of the drops colliding with the rooftops. He couldn't help but find himself put at ease by this weather, and even though his clothing was now stuck to his body, he felt warm. Even though his hair was dripping behind him, he didn't care. Because he felt at ease, and that feeling was priceless in a world where you were on the capture list of both sides of the war...

His footsteps took him in front of a pub, where he could recognize the Reiatsu of Hanako within. He blinked, not realizing that she would have something like this on Earth. While he may have been tempted to enter, he found in his own mind that it could quite possibly be a mistake. He was still a rogue. Even if he had assisted her, she was allied with the Iramasha. There was still the possibility of his being taken to Soul Society for his execution. He still had to be careful. Gloved hands clenched tightly, the red eyes looking down ever-so-slightly.

That's when he heard the footsteps approaching. He could only look up and see a child running along. His cold eyes wandered with the boy's movements. There was something about the child that he didn't understand, something that was niggling at the back of his mind like he'd never thought possible. He was almost prepared to ignore both the feeling and the kid, trying to remove anything to do with an empathetic mind. But he knew that he couldn't resist. The kid looked far too bedraggled to be healthy, and the sneeze that came out of the alleyway confirmed it. He smiled morbidly, and started to approach without thinking it through.

His feet caused the water to splash up around his long boots. He walked slowly towards the kid, moving a wet fringe off of his brow, droplets of water hitting the ground from his hair and mixing with the puddles that formed on the ground. The kid was sitting with his back against the wall, seeming to nod off. He smiled softly, kneeling down beside him and placing a hand on his forehead. He seemed to be sicker than the redhead had thought. With that, he made his decision. Sliding an arm under the boy's legs, and the other behind his back, he stood up slowly, holding a limp body in his hands. As much as he didn't like it, the kid needed a hand.

The redhead turned around and began to walk through the falling waters, approaching the door of the pub with a small smile. He placed a hand against the wood and pushed it open, stepping into the room. Anyone who looked towards the door would've seen a bedraggled redhead that didn't seem to exert much spiritual energy, and a kid in his arms that was nearly unconscious, and quite possibly held a fever...

Sudden darkness entered Rin's mind at by this point the fever that was getting the best out of his body was winning. Even though he was attempting to get to sleep, chances were now he wouldn't be able to move from the spot he sat in down the alley-way. If he tried, it was likely he'd just collapse. His body was shaking from how cold he was even though his temperature was likely to be at high levels from the fever that was becoming worse and worse each second.

At this time; the sounds around him had disappeared as well as the rain that was continuing to fall towards his body almost as if it were trying to drown him. They had all stopped for Rin as he had really fallen sleep and during a fever like this, Rin was truly a heavy-sleeper which meant even if it were to start thundering soon he wouldn't be able to hear it. Nor would it wake him up.

This also meant he was unable to see he wasn't the only one around this area out late at night such at this time. He couldn't feel the soft hand that touched his fore-head as a sign that someone was taking his temperature in a way. His body was too weak to move meaning it was limp now but the good thing was, he was breathing.

He was alive although the breathing was unsteady. His hair dripped at least a dozen times each second with the rain that fell to his head whilst his hands lay on the floor they were almost buried under the water from the sky to show how much of Karakura was actually flooded around this area. If the rain wouldn't stop now, it'd just mean Karakura would be badly flooded. Only time would tell that.

His limp body was soon lifted unknowingly to Rin, whilst his head leant
by itself towards the man's chest for support. It was true he was now running a high fever. Even though he had all that money before for the clothes, they weren't with him now but the clothes on his body. Not to mention his feet were a mess as they wore not even socks nor shoes on. He used to have just plain white trainers which had gotten tattered over a while. Rin didn't want to get new ones as the money he'd spend would get him enough food to last him a few weeks. He was just glad he could survive so long, a few years with what he had.

Although his feet were badly cut from what he had stepped on in the past, he had tried his best to ignore the pain whilst the rain now was cleansing all wounds his body had, causing the wounds to sting of course. As his head was leaned towards the man's chest. He winced slightly to show his body was still slightly conscious but still unaware of what was happening now and around and the continuing weather.

"Ng..."

Although it was only a soft voice, it was still there meaning Rin wasn't dead. His heart-beat also proved this. His body was soon to be greeted with mixed cold and warm airs as the door of a pub he may be familiar of crossing just a while ago filled his body. It felt nice...To be out of what caused his body pain and suffering to something that could shelter and cure his body faster. Although he wasn't awake to observe any of the features. His mind just told him he was safe now. Whilst Rin had mentally entered that land of dreams strangely enough not able to dream on this night other than being in a world of plain black with now a small light to guide him towards whatever future awaited him.

This'll be a long night...

The redheaded Shinigami was getting looks. Period. His bedraggled form stared through slightly saddened eyes at the rest of the pub-goers, who didn't seem to be hurrying to help this man and the boy. In fact, they seemed to be turning away from the pair, as if there was some kind of disease with them. He looked down and to the side, noting that a lot of the patrons here seemed to be spiritually powered. Maybe there were a few Shinigami, or a few members of the Kokuryuteshi in the mix. Maybe he was already infamous in Karakura. Dai sighed softly, and walked over to an empty table, feeling the eyes staring at him and the boy.

He placed the weak body down on the table, looking over the poor kid with a soft shake of his head and a worried look on his face. His red orbs studied the body with slightly-lowered lids, and he placed a hand onto his forehead once more, trying to feel out any forms of life. His hand then went to the boy's chest, feeling the heaving of light breathing. He sent out a small sigh of relief, but still finding himself stared at. Quite annoying, really.

"Ng..." His eyes perked up at the sound. The boy made some sort of noise. Dai's features softened from sharp worry into sweet relief. He reached out and felt for a proper pulse, seeing that he was still most certainly alive, if weak. That was definitely good. His eyes then flickered over the clothing that he wore.

This... wow.

Hm. Are you feeling worried, Ito? Well, that was an old sound that he hadn't heard for a while. His zanpakuto spirit, Ookami. He tried reaching out for the beast again, but couldn't feel anything. The redheaded man chuckled lightly, and studied his clothing further.

A street kid. That's the first thing he could tell about this boy. They were well-worn, old, and most likely unchanged for a while. His feet were heavily cut, Dai noted, meaning that he hadn't had a proper pair of shoes in a while. There were a few things that worried Dai about this kid, and he began to wonder a few things, himself.

"How do you survive this long?" He mused to himself, wondering if this boy may not have something special about him. He really had to think hard when it came to this kid. He reached up and scratched the back of his head, no longer caring about the eyes watching him. In fact, most of the eyes had returned to what they were doing.

"I swear, I need to stop caring so much..." A sigh, and then a chuckle. That musing was certainly louder, and possibly loud enough to be heard by others.

Now the boy's helpless body was adjusting to the new temperature of the room. His breathing was soon to become steady, casually breathing in and out at pace. Although now that his body temperature was mixed, he didn't know what he felt. His breathing may of gone down to pace but certainly not his fever. His forehead was filled with sweat and not to mention looked red as a tomato.

Alas, the sounds around him were returning. He certainly wasn't out for long but still, he wouldn't be with it. If he were to be left outside like that, if this man beside him hadn't seen nor saved him. Chances were, he wouldn't of survived that night, this night that was still continuing with a long endless draft and ghost-like blowing of the wind outside which blew in the gaps of the door, bricks and windows.

But the head around him wasn't caused by any natural sources, like lights or radiators and so forth but the gathering of how many people were in said area, Hanako's Pub. Their own heat radiated of themselves, passing to each to each other to create the warmth of the pub. That and the part some were smoking before. Which explained the scent that was inhaled once upon entering the pub.

And by the time someone new had entered the pub, the boy had only regained part of his consciousness, well, to the part he was able to listen to others around him. It was only a dim like sound as it was blended in to the sounds of his mind from waking from such a dream like world. All he could tell was something about a world war...

"N..."

As he winced in pain once more, he soon opened his eyes slightly. Able to see only the person in front of him, or besides the table. At first, his reaction was nothing. He was only just getting used to the surroundings so of course he'd be a little out of it.

"Where....."

Of course, the basic thing someone would say to when they aren't used to their surroundings, Where are they? Although this got cut off to when his blurred vision cleared only slightly to see he was inside a building. This, made him sit up suddenly in shock. Coughing violently as his body shook, almost trying to push him back down. He could feel some sort of liquid brim up in his eyes unknowingly to him it was actually tears. Why was he crying? Was he dead? What was happening and where the heck was he?

The coughing continued for at least a good two or three minutes before looking at the man, with the features that stood out of red-hair. Well that was the first thing that he could see when part of his vision cleared. If he looked to the door, it was still blurred. Looking up to the man he soon crawled away slightly, almost to the edge of the table to the point where he was about to fall off, although his left hand managed to stop this, causing the table to tip slightly from all the weight being on one side of the table. He didn't say anything else to this point but try to balance the weight out evenly, the last thing he wanted was to crack his head open. But he easily told the man by him to stay away by using his right foot to try to push the man away from him. Even those were weak, he winced at the pain in his cut feet as now that part light shone on to them, glass shards were shown to be sticking deep in to his feet. He had some dirt marks on his face, his hair was a mess and not to mention the clothes sticking to him made him freezing cold yet hot from his fever. He felt like he was dying, even though he wasn't.

The tears stopped, they never got released. He didn't know why and he didn't know why he wasn't crying or going to cry. He looked around weakly, seeing people sitting at the tables staring at him making him freeze in spot. Of course; He didn't know they were spirits. He had no idea what sort of world this was, what mysteries the town of Karakura were filled of. He was just a human boy... Or was he?

There was still nobody. Nobody was attempting the assist the pair. This was looking bad, in the eyes of Daigoro Ito. He narrowed his own red orbs carefully, watching the pub-goers as they ambled about their daily business. A small smile lined his face, as he watched. These people all had their daily lives to worry about, and here was this redhead worrying about one little kid. He had always been like this, a defender of the people, and a defender to the end. Maybe that's just how he lived, maybe that's how his life gained meaning. If he defended those that he cared about, so he could see them smile again. Their smiles warmed his heart, that was for sure. But to see those smiles, he had to go through bloodshed. And... who did he care about? He had nobody anymore. He was alone in this world, in the rain...

"Judging by the sight, i can tell that you two need these really bad, honestly you two look as though you've just survived world war 4, or was it 5?" A cheerful voice snapped him out of his internal questioning. He looked up and saw him, a brown-eyed, orange-haired man, staring kindly with a pair of hot towels. Dai couldn't help but let a small smile cross his face, his lips twitching into their curvature. There was some kindness in this pub after all, it seemed. With a chuckle, he accepted the towel and nodded briefly at the man, placing both towels onto Rin's body - one on his head, and one down his clothing, on his chest. Dai didn't feel the need to warm himself, not right now. With a small sigh, he looked up at Shirou and spoke in kind and calm tones.

"I think I'll be alright. I was walking in the rain long before I found the boy. He needs them far more than I." A brief nod, and then he returned his gaze to the boy, eyes showing nothing but pity for the young child, and yet he also saw some likeness to himself. Not physically, no. But in terms of where he was right now - homeless, loveless... This child needed something to keep him happy, healthy, living. He smiled a little more, with less solemnity and more kindness behind the mouth, before recoiling suddenly.

"N..." Life. It appeared that life had borne itself within the boy, and that could only cause Daigoro to smile softly at the idea. The boy was living once more, it seemed. He nodded at the other once, before trying to tend to the kid.

"Where....." Hm? The boy wanted to know where he was? He smiled softly and knelt down by the table, before stepping back from the coughing. Not afraid, just surprised. He didn't expect such a violent reaction, but he would live with it, placing a calm palm on the forehead of the other, tilting his head to the side with a stern fatherly look in his eyes. That didn't last long, though, as he was pushed away by one of the bare, bloodied feet. He fell backwards, landing on his ass. Most people would've been annoyed by this, but Dai only stood up and chuckled.

"Full of energy, I see." His eyelids lowered, and his gaze was filled with simple kindness and benevolence. The Defender nodded a couple of more times, before looking back at Emiya.

"An unexpected kindness. Daigoro Ito," A chuckle, "Self-proclaimed Rogue Shinigami, and I'll live with having someone know it. It's not like... I care anymore." His smile held hidden sadness. He longed for something to defend as his own, for someone to hold in his arms and protect. But he lost all claims to any of those, long ago.

Having Daigoro except his kindness, gave Shirou a sense of fulfillment. Normally most people would reprimand him, saying thing's about how they didn't need his kindness or his pity. The sort of feeling of such easy acceptance, made the hero smile. "Hey, it's not in my personality to see people in agony in front of me, or at the very least, to see how you two look when you came in here" Shirou's personality was like that of a best friend, to many stranger's, even if they did seem shabby - Now that wasn't to say that the young man, was naive. He was far from it. His mind, having experienced all the hardships of war and bloodshed, were far from being immature. Shirou's experience could indeed be considered a true hell, that not even mortal men would speak of. Experience's that should not be remembered. Yes, remembering such hellish event's would only bring sadness to him in the future. The checkered circumstance's of which, Shirou could only forget, assailed his mind, even sleeping became a battle. In some distance year's, he's quite sure he will forget, but for now, such a wish is impossible. Being confronted with a kindness much like his own, he felt as though the aura emanating from Dai was like that of his own, a heroic and caring aura, possessed by men who wished for nothing but the happiness of other's. Maybe Destiny, has brought the path of these two men together on this rainy day. Then again, if one were to put it this way, Shirou's attention was also drawn to the haggard disposition of Rin Okamura. The Young man Daigoro brought inside the pub in order to bring him back to good health.

His worn and emaciated appearance, was far too depressing. It pulled at the heart string's of the young man. This appearance was nostalgically familiar. It brought about the reminiscent childhood of Emiya Shiro. A Burning village, a hellish nausea, no direction or home to return too, the wails of innocent people suffering among the hell fire. This boy, while not on the edge of death, was in a condition, of which needed great attention right now. Examining the boy closely, Shirou discerned that since he was in the rain before Daigoro came, that a fever could be the reason for his violent coughing at the current moment. That was too dangerous for a human-boy, yet with the amount of antidote's in the modern world today, even if the boy had pneumonia, it was still possible to seek help and be cured. Shirou's attention was quickly drawn toward's his feet, and by then, he could sit back no longer and watch this horrid sight unfolding in front of his eye's. After accessing his condition, Shirou walked over to the boy and grabbed him firmly. the individuals within the pub gave him a few glance's, but at this point, such a trifle, was the last thing on Shirou's mind. The condition of this boy came before talking to anyone right now. This was all simply part of the personality of the man called Emiya Shirou. Moreover, the condition caused memories of his childhood to resurface.

"I know you may hate me for this, but right now, your in a bad condition and i can't stand to see this any longer, you may fight me all you like, but i'll make sure you're in good health, or at the very least out of this state. " These word's were firm, yet contained a kindness that could still be heard by listening intently. Having given his reasoning, Shirou looked at the closest pub member and requested a room and a first aid kit. After acquiring these item's within a few minute's time, he carried the younger man over his shoulder and into the vacant room. Setting him down firmly, yet lightly, he quickly grabbed his feet. Hopefully, the boy would stay still, but Shirou couldn't wish for such a convenient situation. Like any stranger, he expected slight if not large resistance from Rin. However, such thing's weren't even on his mind at the moment. The condition came first, that was an evident truth among all trivial matter's. Firstly, the initial injury was the pieces of glass in his feet, he knew instinctively what he had to do now. Without looking for glove's he put wrapped his arm around Rin's leg in order to keep him in place, after holding this one leg within the temporary lock, he carefully pulled out the broken shard's of glass in Rins feet, traced of blood still evident at the end of the broken jagged edge's of glass.

After the removal of all glass, he would expect many insult's or many wail's or many attack's, all of that did not matter to him, he was use to it by now to begin with, so why would that change today?; Having rid of the glass, Shirou quickly used disinfectant on the wounded spot's on Rin's feet. This would undoubtedly cause pain for the young man, but it was for the best. After solving the problem of infection, Shirou grabbed a set of bandage's and wrapped them around Rin's left and right feet, in order to prevent further blood loss. Having completed this simple procedure, Shirou decided to check his temperature. He quickly reached for a thermometer, and placed it inside of Rin's mouth, from the look's of it, the boy has a temperature of 108. While not fatal, this far too dangerous to be outside in the rain. After confirmation of his condition, Shirou returned the thermometer to it's proper placement and made his way towards the kitchen as he requested that Dai keep Rin in the room, so he would not escape. What did Shirou have in mind? That question was simple, he wanted to give Rin warm meal's. Food was an essential in order to bring him back to top health.

However, when Shirou thought about that, he wondered what exactly should be cooked? Walking inside the kitchen, Shirou requested that he cook a few meal's without pay, so he would have time to properly think about what a young boy of Rin's age liked to eat. As for Dai, he hoped that red haired young defender would properly keep Rin placed within his room, while he thought about what should be the meal(s) of choice. After placing an apron around his body, he grabbed the closest pot and got to work within the kitchen. Something he had become accustomed too for his entire life. This was Shirou Emiya's greatest field of expertise.

[center]Before Dai had been launched to the ground, Rin could tell he was about to get a explanation of where he was. But what caused him to kick the man was how he placed a hand on his fore-head. He hated people touching him for one, at least strangers. Wack. His foot had made a solid hit towards the man, causing him to land on the ground. This, obviously didn't cause him any pain but towards Rin. It certainly caused him a lot from the state his feet were, that and the fact he was already in a messy state it hurt to move.Sitting back upright as best as he could on the table he soon watched the man introduce himself to the one whom had only just made a entrance. Shinigami? What was that? He had no idea of things like that, hollow, shinigami, spirits. Not aware of any of it. Perhaps it was just a nick-name? The boy blinked as he watched, his vision finally clearing before looking around weakly at everyone sitting down at tables. Where was he...

As he focused back on the two. He soon noticed the cloths that were pretty much stuck to his fore-head and chest. Quickly brushing them off so they made a plopping sound to land on the ground he looked at the clothes stuck to his body, wanting to go back outside and away from this place. Although of course, both of the people he had just met were right by the door. He was so engrossed about the thought of getting out he didn't noticed Emiya look over towards him, studying how much in a bad state he was. But once he began walking, Rin snapped his eyes back towards him as he moved back to the edge of the table, ready to kick this man as well. He didn't want anyone near him!

"G-Get away...!"

He responded to this action, his voice shaking and quiet. Barely heard if you were half way across the room. He was soon grabbed, weird enough, it wasn't harshly. It was more of a firm grab but of course still led him to panicking and trying to hit and kick more. His attacks must of felt like feathers with how weak he was, physically and mentally.

"I know you may hate me for this, but right now, your in a bad condition and i can't stand to see this any longer, you may fight me all you like, but i'll make sure you're in good health, or at the very least out of this state. "

The words spoken by the man were calm, although as the boy's pleading eyes were shown for Emiya to let go off him it wasn't long until he began panicking again. Trying his best to let out screams for someone to help him. A few things were requested making the boy curious before he was launched on to the man's back.

"NO! GET OFF! PUT ME DOWN!"

He attempted to yell, sounding more like a whisper as he took his now clenched fists to hit against Shirou's back hard. Although of course, this still felt like feathers. Doors were soon opened as Rin's heart-beat grew faster wondering where he was being taken, this was until his eyes adjusted towards the new light, making him being placed down. At the second this happen, he took the advantage to try and escape before having his feet being grabbed.

"L-Let go...!"

He cried out, more of now it was in pain. His clenched fists tightened by themselves as the state of his feet looked worse close up. It hurt, it felt like someone was literally burning his feet with fire. He couldn't bear to put up with this pain anymore. He soon yelped in pain as he was held in place whilst the glass shards were pulled from his feet, causing a faint bleeding to appear where the wound was. Within a few moments, all the glass had been removed carefully. As the boy believed this was all over, he soon felt a huge stinging pain occur in the area as well as a refreshing pain mixed up. This of course made him go to the next stage with screaming in pain. Why was he being helped and at the same time being hurt...

Poor kid had no idea what had just been put on his feet and that it was for to help him. He hadn't really ever had any care of himself. Since being born he was sick and since his stay in the hospital. That was the only care he got, that and being taken up by someone's friends before they passed away and he was placed in a care-home which didn't even take care of him. So he hadn't really ever heard of disinfectant or anything. After the stinging pain ceased, bandages were then wrapped around the boy's feet separately. After which, a thermometer was placed in his mouth allowing the boy to wonder what it was. Trying to spit it out it was soon taken out as Rin watched the man look down at the readings, he wanted to question what it was but he felt like he didn't want to speak. To see him leave on the other hand, made him somewhat happy. Dai of course, the man whom had saved him and the man he had learned the name of now was placed in the room. Rin looked up to him before crawling off the bed. He couldn't use his feet just yet, they stung too much. He crawled to the door as quick as he could, opening it before trying to rush off. He had no idea where the man had gotten to or if he cold escape. He just wanted out...!

"The War Band"

Myasha Vohlis
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Outside of school, Myasha lived alone as her father left her after the death of her mother. As of now, she was out shopping for provisions with the money she earned from working at a bookstore nearby. The problem for her now was balancing between part-time job and school work. She is already struggling with her education except for what she is good at, physical education. She was on her way back home when she sensed a demonic aura nearby and in a small pack. "Just as I was planning on making some sushi..." Myasha groaned before stashing the grocery into her briefcase and sets it in the bookstore. The owner promised that he will keep it under watch while she is gone. From there, she ran into the alleyway and swung her arm out, summoning her own demon blade, Riptide. She ran towards the source and it coincidentally was located a building away south from where Shirou and the boy was. To someone like Dai, the source is strong enough to be considered a small demonic war band. In fact, that is what Myasha is facing. One Demon Maggot Troll and four Demon Maggot Orcs. Myasha stood there, furious and scared all together. She has never face them before in her life. The troll looked at Myasha and grumbled in a foreign tongue that only Demon Maggots can understand. The four looked at Myasha and raised their shields at her.
Troll (x1)
Orc (x4)
From the looks of the situation, Myasha is outmatched with the troll helping them while she is also outnumbered by the orcs alone. The next thing Myasha could know, they already made thirty feet of distance in under three seconds and Myasha instinctively ducked an incoming crude blade. Myasha leaped into the air and kicked off a wall to make some distance from the orcs. She stumbled on the landing and fell onto her butt, but luckily she fell out of the troll's fist's path as it crashed into the wall. Myasha rolled and get back onto her feet as the orcs are already within five feet from her and surrounding her. "You bastards are re- Damn!" Myasha shouted to the orcs before jumping backward to evade a fast moving blade as it swiped by her twice. Suddenly, she finds herself pinned against the wall by an orc's shield. Not only they fight without hesitation, they are very strong according to Myasha. Myasha weakly looked at the other orcs and noticed their shields are spiked. She looked down at herself and saw five spikes in her torso. In realization, she coughed up blood and squirmed in pain. She shed tears because it hurts so much. She was about to drop her sword in defeat, but she gripped it tightly instead before make a desperate strike upon the orc. The orc fell without its head as Myasha fell to the ground with the shield still penetrated in her. Her sight blurred a bit as the orcs quickly surrounded her and the troll supervised the execution. From there, the orcs began kicking her with their jagged boots. She knows that she would survive because her body is tougher than most would think...but how long will she last?
"I took roleplaying and storytelling with a live-and-let-live attitude, thus the idea of a character doing something out-of-character would add more to the character than letting it stagnate into an archetype or a character. Here: A rapid change to a character must be met with an in-the-moment conflict. Ta-da! A rule to live by!"
