HABAKI KOGA | STRAY DOG
"Tch..."
Koga paused when he heard her talk about those who would miss him if he ended up bowing out of the dance early. Of all her advice, this happened to give him pause. In truth, he never considered that factor. With a violent past like his, he never expected to live this long. He never imagined he would be in the Gotei.
What was some petty attempt at proving he could hang with the big dogs turned into so much more. Was he willing to throw that all away over this? After sitting on her words for a few moments, he sighed, rubbing the back of his head with a sheepish grin. Ranma, Hana, Beetle, Ranny, Noharu, he'd probably feel bad leaving them all behind. Shit, maybe his vice-captain was onto something.
"Shit, ya got me there. I'd hate leavin' my fellow idiot in arms behind in all this madness."

She nodded as she was glad he seemed to have calmed down. Rangiku needed everyone to be level headed before they could continue to get anything done. She pat him on the shoulder as she tried to make sure that he was okay. Wanting to reinforce what she had said.
"It's okay Koga. We will work together and make it through this. We have to."
She fully believed what she said, and she thinks that they will make it through these hard times. It wasn't a choice. They had to do it, and they couldn't just keep letting these things happen. Rangiku was motivated to get herself and her comrades stronger.

HABAKI KOGA | STRAY DOG
"Heh, look at you, vice-cap. Bein' a voice of reason during my shitty hours. Guess I ain't servin' no one any good by worryin' about the past, huh?"
Rangiku's words had ultimately achieved whatever intent they were aiming for, earning purchase in his stubborn mind. She was undeniably right. He couldn't let this current situation defeat him. Not only would that disrespect the eleventh division of the past he admired so fondly, it'd dishonor those who still believed in him now, those who still wanted him to live. Okay. That's right. Good. The buxom lady with big knockers had encouraged him well. Cracking his knuckles with a grin, he returned to removing each piece of rubble with a renewed vigor, determined to see his path through, and the challenges awaiting him at the end. That was the best he could do now.
He would be the rock his division mates could lean on.
"Dosukoi!"
