"Well, maybe not hunt is the right choice of words on my part, but I'd be pretty damn surprised if there weren't some amount of Quincy on Quincy murders."

She rubbed her chin thoughtfully, unable to shake the idea that even among the Quincy, darkness and betrayal must exist. Still, after a moment, she shrugged, rolling her shoulders with a casual ease, her eyes lingering on Joli.

"But I don't hang around enough Quincy to really know that. So maybe my morbid mind is getting away from me."

Veralia let out a low, ominous chuckle as she walked next to Joli to observe the sights of the shimmering sea before then. As she took in the birds flying in the sky, the pristine waters, and the vast amount of light and life in the area, her face softened in expression as she breathed in and exhaled the fresh air around them.

"Nah, you're good. Don't worry about offending me."

As she resumed talking, her tone became lighter than before, and she relaxed further around Joli.

"You seem a bit shy and introverted, so I figure it's just you stumbling through small talk."

With her hands slipping into her pockets, Veralia turned her gaze back to Joli, offering a playful smirk.

"By the way, since we both don’t know much about the other’s race, maybe we can fill in the blanks for each other. That is, if you’ve got time to kill."
