Perfect. That statement gave him a few on Santa’s views towards Shinigami, sometimes you had to lie just a little to get reactions out of people. See what they really think. More Santa lore for the audience! A sister added a more ‘human’ vibe to the Arrancar, they’d like that. Just as Leo went to stand, someone flung open the recording booth which was posted specifically NOT TO DO THAT.

An emergency. One of the interns slipped Leo a printed-out note, before leaving just as quickly as he came. He paused for a second. “‘Scuse me…” He began reading, not out loud in case it was something sensitive. He blinked a few times, rereading to make sure he was reading this correctly.

“Well. Speaking of our Shinigami friends…” he nodded to the camera and cleared his throat. “It appears we got some breaking news. Soul Society was hit by an invasion of Arrancar.” He paused briefly before looking at Santa.

“From what it says here it’s pretty bad. Though I don’t have a lot of the specifics. We’re kinda limited on the information we can get.” He slipped the paper to Santa, it was a printed-out news report, that gave some vague details about the attack.

“Hopefully no one you know was involved…” Coming off as passive-aggressive with this statement, Leo leaned forward as his glasses gleamed. Pressing Santa for any information she might have. Now of course he knew she wasn’t directly there, she was sitting with him RIGHT now. Though maybe she knew the other Arrancar involved?

Santa tilted her head, picking up on the unique vibe that the man was suddenly giving off. She tilted her head ever so slightly and watched as he began to bring up some sort of ... news?

But it was much more than that. This wasn't some human world story, it was something that shocked even herself. The gotei had been attacked? But even more than that, looking through the report, this wasn't just about the attack. The report came from an EX Gotei Shinigami that had been spoken to? Where was this from? Europe? She could only imagine other places had been involved, and standing up otu of her seat, she turned to the side and waved her hand , the air howling quietly as she peeled open the space before her and a small array of garganta peeled open like screens, projecting to the world of the dead, and showing, without directly connecting, the Gotei. And before her very eyes, she furrowed her brows as she saw the sheer destruction. The multiple screens showing the flattened sereitei sections, as well as the damage all throughout. What on earth had happened?

The tears shuddered shut once again and she furrowed her brows for several seconds before she turned to look to the man before her. And recalled the viewers... listeners.. people that probably were also just getting this information.

"I don't know. Arrancar are wanderers by nature. I don't know if ...." She briefly let her thoughts shift to Tier. She didn't frankly know if she might be involved with this. As careful and cautious as she was, she also knew that if it meant her friends were Safer... She might very well be capable of having participated in this. "If anyone I know was involved. But in regards to what happened... to anyone listening. Please be careful. I don't know what will happen after this." She murmured, knowing that if Tier could hear her, she would be pissed. It wasn't even as if she knew any Shinigami.

But she felt called to figure out what had happened. This was a blow to what she wanted to accomplish, a wedge that further drove a fear of arrancar. She didn't know what she was going to do once she got there. But she knew she wanted to do something. But she couldn't just head there recklessly. She needed to ... figure something out. Maybe speak to her friends in the Vandenreich. Thinking to her last interaction with Tier... she knew that ... Tier wasn't going to help her with this. Not in a million years. She was too .. afraid. And as much as she wanted to ...help Tier. Tier just ... didn't WANT to be helped. And she wasn't ....willign to Help Santa. Especially with something that might hurt her.

"Thank you very much for having me on your show, Mister Wheeler." She noted softly, before turnign to head for the door at a brisk pace.

Honestly, this was big. Finally, here is some information on the Gotei. It's pretty upsetting, war wasn’t exactly a good thing and he was sure some of the Shinigami were good people, and Santa proved there were good Arrancar, good people on both sides. As she opened up a garganta, Leo would peep through to the best of his ability, trying to find information.on the Gotei. Yep, an attack alright, sure he had only seen the Soul Society in pictures, but seeing the ruin like this was… gross.

Leo would listen carefully to what she was explaining. Leo was good to see she was wishing everyone safety, in unsure times like this. He could smell the views. He was eager to see how this played out, I mean it was his job to cover the news! So he wanted to make sure he was getting the truth.

As she headed towards the door Leo would approach her seemingly following her. “Could I come with you? I mean don’t the people deserve to know what’s going on out there? If I don’t then fake news will flood and nobody will know WHAT to believe.” This was true though, typically the first news you saw was what you would believe going forward.

Santa stalled in her steps and looked over her shoulder at the young man as he asked such a question. One that frankly threw even her for a slight loop. " Mr Wheeler... that....is really dangerous. Even hollows aside... the Rukongai is a dangerous place..." She trailed off and furrowed her brows.

She should just tell him to stay here. That was the logical thing to do. But she couldn't help but admire his determination, and his ...oddly altruistic reasonings. There was no real room for deceit. In all actuality this was beyond dangerous. If anything happened to Santa, he'd literally be stuck in the land of the dead. And probably would be killed. Surely he knew such things.

However, he did have a point. A lot of information would probably get around. He just wanted to know what happened, as did she.

"...... Are you sure? I can't guarantee your safety." She informed him, looking him dead in the eye. To make sure that he understood that she meant what she said.

Leo had two real options, he could either go with Santa to investigate or stay here. Truth be told he was scared, really scared. Of course, this wasn’t going to show. He had his phone, so he could record everything for his return. OR he could die a horrific death in a Hollow. “If I stay close to you wouldn’t I be far safer?” He raised an eyebrow thinking. He had always wanted to see this Soul Society in person, so this might finally be his big break!

The man would look at Santa and exhale. He pulled out his phone and pointed towards it. “It’s been a dream to see the Soul Society. This is my chance, I wanna figure out what’s going on!” He sighed. “People like me and everyone listening, the nonspiritual people are always left in the dark about this stuff!”

Leo would send out a few messages, "I love you," to his wife and a few other family members. He nodded confidently, his poker face breaking for just a second so Santa could see his nerves.

“What kind of reporter would I be if I didn’t chase the news?” He folded his arms, giving a very light smile. “I’m sure.”

Santa watched as he took a moment to consider the options he had before him. "Safer. But that's still not entirely safe." She noted softly,honestly. Before she watched him pulling out his phone and starting to message people. She considered taking out her own, but well. She came and went with gaps all the time. Hm..... still. She took a moment and pulled out her phone. Pulling up both Liltotto and Helle. She hadn't heard from Liltotto in some time... but all the same, she sent them short messages, letting them know that she was going to soul society for a while.

Once she'd sent the messages, she watched as Leo steeled himself. And without another word, she held her hand out to the man.

ONce he took a hold of hers, there wouldn't bee any need for them to move. She was more skilled than just about any arrancar when it came to descorrer. And as such they need only stay still as the air tore around them, a black, angulated maw swallowing them on the spot. Throwing them into the darkness of the garganta as she promptly would begin pulling him along.

One last rush of Living World air, before the studio vanished around them.
