The hollow’s attack hit, even if not fully, and had done enough damage that it lowered itself and began moving in like a very slow and heavy skittering scorpion. Seemingly unsure of what his prey was doing, its glowing eyes narrowed as it approached, but was suddenly having a rock… thrown… at him????
His narrowed eyes suddenly widened as the rock shattered and shot forth in a cone-barrage, the small pieces striking it it’s body, a couple even causing tiny breaks to its mask, something it did not like. Again, he released the hollow howl.
In a strong downward swing of its tail, it attempted to smash Giselle into the ground where she stood, but did not feel the tail connect. Instead, it hit the ground, smashing the stone and kicking up dust. As the cloud settled, he realized she was gone and looked around, only to have his attention caught by the sound of something breaking. He turned to see Giselle and this new weapon of hers.
The hollow narrowed its glowing eyes again and used its strength to jump into the air, twist it's body, and as gravity would bring him down on Giselle, it's tail whipped around and aimed to strike her side and send her body flying back into the castle.

"Hohoho. Look at you. Pretty NIMBLE!" She called out, flashing to the side as that massive frame slammed down with that jumping slam, wincing as debris burst from the impact and she flourished the spear, spinning it to deflect the chunks of rock and dirt. Her eyes snapped to the swinging tail. She spun the weapon and amped spiritual energy. In that moment, time slowed a little as she tightened her focus. That blur of a lamppost slowing as did that tail rushing in. Spiritual energy coursing along her palms and down the length of the weapon, and as that tail swung in, she clenched the spear, allowing that rotational momentum to sweep her up into the air, just barely clear from that swinging tail.
The edge clipping her hip and rear as it passed, even just that clip sent shock through her frame, but she powered through, and as the tail passed beneath her, she swung a leg, continuing that spin so that as she righted herself, and for just an instant it pointed directly at it's masked face... before that spinning spear slammed down into the hollow's lower back, aiming to spike that hunk of makeshift spear clean through the hollow's spine just above the tail. It wasn't a vital blow, but the hollow was being very protective of it's mask. It was only natural that it would aim to evade or block the lethal attack, and at the very last second, she'd aim for a crippling blow. Once that tail was out of the picture, the rest of the hollow would be easy to kill.

This speedy human was proving to be much more of a problem than the hollow liked. It moved out of the way of its tail and was able to take that makeshift spear and stab him in the back, a move he was not likely to recover from. Though the makeup of this hollow did now allow for paralysis because of a spine-aimed injury, the hole through its body was going to slow it down more. The hollow let out another roar, but this one was a little higher pitched and showed its pain.
Practically crawling, it's legs seeming to struggle to get it's body up, the hollow turned back toward Giselle and through sheer will, whipped its tail around to try and strike at her. The aim was wild and unpredictable, as if getting another good hit in was the only desire it had. That desperation turned into a rapid consecutive hit too, the tail immediately coming back to strike at Giselle right after the first.
"Be careful!" Amelia called out, still a good thirty feet away and trying to keep people back. She was glad to see that Giselle was able to land a decisive blow, but still worried for the woman's life. She pulled out her phone and called for an ambulance. If they could get here ahead of time, maybe any serious damage Giselle suffered could be handled quickly. Amelia regretted not calling sooner...

WHEW?!
When Giselle landed after the spear hit she actually had to take a hefty WHEW! Wheezing a bit and grinning as she skidded to the side and let out a yelp! Falling over as that tail swung overhead! "WHEW! I'm trying! OHFUCK!"
As talented as she was, as honed as she'd made her spiritual powers, IT WAS A LOT OF WORK TO KEEP UP WITH THIS DAMN THING! So much had been put into getting herself back in shape, and in this moment, even though her soul was roaring, and her mind was going so damn fast, her body was SCREAMING! From pain. From Fatigue! She stumbled over and landed next to a trashcan, panting a bit as she hurriedly snagged the lid and brought it up! Energy crackling along it's length as she reinforced the item. Twisting at the last second as that tail thankfully only glanced the shield, ripping it in half and then obliterating a chunk of the earth beside her, even that random flailing gouged a crater!
HUP!
She kicked the can over, launching its contents at the Hollow in a barrage of garbage as she promptly grabbed the emptied can and pressed her palm to it. a ripple along its surface, amplifying the ability for the material to vibrate. And then with a mighty kick. The sound itself was deafening, as she kicked the back of the reinforced trashcan, and a burst pulse of sound escaped the object. The only reason it even managed a concentrated burst was the shape, and that concussive boom would slam into the hollow.
She wasn't quite skilled enough in this to actually damage it. But at the very least, she hoped to try and burst its eardrums and stun the damn thing as she lunged towards it. A piece of twisted metal that had once been the garbage lid. It transformed as her energy coursed through it, She spun mid-step, putting as much energy into the lid as she could before she flung it! That thing twisted into a little metal shuriken as she flung it with as much force as she could muster, intent on slamming that sliver of spinning metal dead center into the creature's mask.

Amelia finished the call and just kept watching... Standing on the sideline while Giselle fought so hard was frustrating and heartbreaking. Amelia had never been a combatant. She hated violence, but to do nothing here felt… wrong. However, there was still nothing she could do. She wouldn’t know how to throw a punch. She had no weapon, no training. She was a school teacher for god’s sake!
Paper, food, other plastic shit hit the hollow, but seemed to care little, the pain in its back more its focus. And what came next caused the hollow to release it’s own howl, as if attempting to dampen the horrid sound Giselle made with the trashcan. However, the howl was cut short by a concussive blast that struck his body. He slid across the stone, using it’s four arms to keep it from moving more than a couple feet. It howled again, it's rage filling the air as it started pointing it’s tail at the woman rushing to him and beginning to charge the acidic cero again.
And then everything went quiet. The reiatsu in the air faded. The cero vanished. The small shuriken had struck its mask right through the forehead, the force of which continued the crack right down the middle. The crack expanded and a moment later, the hollow disintegrated, finally dying before everyone's eyes...

"Holyfuck, WHEW, oh god why'd it have to be the ass." She grunted, wincing as she gingerly touched where the tail had struck her, biting her lower lip before slowly straightening how she was standing, a sigh escaping as she then peered around. Ah, there she was. She flashed a big ol smile as she waved the woman over, limping her way over as she did. "Whew, helluva workout yea? almost thought it got me a few times there. People are WAY easier to deal with." She chuckled, a sigh escaping her as she rolled her shoulder.
"Still, surprised that you really have never run into a hollow. Things must be more quiet around here than I thought." She paused and closed her eyes, focusing her Reikaku. The things energy was all over the place. As was her OWN. Thered no doubt be a few more hollows poking around this area drawn by the ruckus. She'd probably have to warn the local police about it. Still.
"Anywho, you alright?"

Finally releasing a held breath, Amelia ran forward toward Giselle. She intended to help in anyway she could, including keeping the woman standing, if needed. Seeing her limp, Amelia immediately stepped up to do so as well. Amelia was practically stunned to silence, her mind going every which direction after watching such a scene unfold. She was not getting use to this any time soon.
“Me?!” Amelia questioned, surprised. “You! Are you okay?”
The sirens blared off in the distance, and it wasn’t long before they turned the corner. Two police cars and an ambulance made their appearance, those within quickly getting over to tend to Giselle or cordon off the area.

Giselle couldn't help but give a hearty laugh as Amelia promptly circled things around on her, wigging out just a little as she seemed incredulous and a bit startled by how casual Giselle was being about all this. Ohhh if her ass didn't hurt this'd be grand. It actually felt a little familiar. Sure, it wasn't her shrugging off like a bullet to the head or anything like that, but it still was nice to know that her training had paid off, and that her force of will was still nice and intact.
"Pftt, me? I'm totes fine. Dealin with hollows aint' somethin thats super easy or nothing, but I gotta deal with em now and then. Even if I am still gettin used to all this stuff." She gently used her thumb to smear her blood in a sigil over her hip. The mark bursting into white flames of warm energy along her damaged flesh. Ahhhhhhh..... yea that wasn't doin shit. She thinned her lips a little, she could feel it ... sortof doing a bit of work. Hm, this hastily thrown together healing shtick maybe wasn't as great as she was hoping it'd be. "Don't suppose you got like a first aid kit on ya eh?" She asked with a cheeky grin as she resisted the urge to start pulling up grass four a poultice. Yea there were no herbs around here she recognized to make that NOT an infection fiesta. Hmmm.

Amelia sighed and shook her head. Giselle reminded her of her students who didn’t want to admit they weren’t that tough. Of course, Giselle was tough and this wasn’t some “owie” you got on the playground, but it was similar in spirit.
“That’s what they are for, silly,” Amelia said as the paramedics came over. “Now, are you gonna let them do their jobs, or are you one of those who fight the doctors?”

Giselle perked up. Oh shit, she actually called for help. Nice. She put on a flash of a smile and waved to them before snorting at Amelia. "Pfft, are you high? This shit hurts, they can heal away." She noted with a lax smirk and a sigh as she settled down and nodded as the Paramedics promptly got to work looking her over, and of course the Police all moved in.
It was a great big Hullabaloo, she'd managed to take down the hollow. Uh, some damage ot the lamppost, but she assured them she could fix it back the way it was. It was kinda lodged in the ground at the moment. They took statements from both women, and eventually, Giselle was taken off to a hospital for a look over. Making sure that she didn't have any unattended injuries.
When it all settled down, Giselle got herself fixed up, thank goodness for spiritual healers, and she was able to walk out of the hospital with a new pair of pants. tucking her discharge papers into her pocket and sighing to herself. Almost made her miss the vandenreich, much less fuss. But then again she was like, a zombie. She supposed she was lucky to be in one piece.
Hm, she wondered if she'd see that Teacher again.
