Since November 2022 when Mizu's Kidō reached Elite, she has displayed high level use of it, intricate knowledge of it, and unique applications of it. Her fundamentals have long since been mastered, she's created a multitude of simple and complex spells including Genso Kakusan which allows her to fundamentally alter other spells, and she has demonstrated the use of Kidō applications that stretch the meaning of Elite and prove her ability to go beyond that level's threshold.

In the following thread Mizu demonstrated not only high level spells, including multiple spells in the 70's and 80's, but she also showed creative uses of Kidō by using her Bankai to bounce spells, causing them to speed up and strengthen. Most importantly, it was the first time she utilized her own creation Gokudo which is a borderline Master-level use of Kidō involving channeling Reishi into the form of a word, which then forces the Reishi to cast the word's meaning. To put it simply, in this thread she used Gokudo to form the word "Heal" which then healed an injury to her hand; she formed the word "Torrent", which created a torrent of water that struck with the force of a river; she used the word "Freeze" to turn all the water to ice; and she used the word Shatter" to shatter the ice into shards that fired at her opponent Shura. Besides the incredible utility and ubiquity of this technique, it also allows Mizu to cast spells silently which is an inherent advantage over other Kidō practitioners.

In the following thread, on top of teaching Ranma her unique custom spell Sei-kotsu Sōkō, a Bakudō 55 equivalent that creates barrier Kidō armor to cover her body, she also demonstrated Gokudo again, this time by using the word "Icicle" to create a spear of ice that impaled the ground in front of her. She ended up overcoming Shura by bouncing many Byakurai off her crystal walls, guarded against her Soren Sakatsui using Dankū, and then pinned her to the ground with Sajō Sabaku. All while being pushed to her limits and having used many high level spells throughout the fight.

Gokudō (語口道, "Way of the Recital"): Though straightforward in use, Gokudo is a highly complex school of Kidō developed by Morikawa Mizu to become better prepared to deal with all kinds of situations. It's function is simple: Channel Reishi into power words, which form somewhere around her, which then become on-the-fly spells of that word. For instance, by forming the word "Torrent" she can create a surging river of water, and then by forming the word "Freeze" she can turn said water into a spreading sheet of ice. The uses of Gokudo are endless, limited only by the user's imagination.

However, there are limitations of Gokudo itself. On a one-to-one basis, spells cast with Gokudo, due to the complexity and difficulty of molding the involved Reishi, are more Reiryoku intensive than standard Kidō spells. Overuse of Gokudo can quickly exhaust the user as a result. In addition, while "Torrent" can create a river of water that goes in any direction the caster desires, they're still limited by the power word involved. Meaning, "Torrent" requires another power word to be anything but a straight river of water. As such, while Gokudo is versatile, complex uses and combinations of power words are incredibly exhausting and especially difficult to use in the first place.


As of March of last year Mizu was stated to be on the correct path to Master, and has since developed unique spells and Gokudo. I believe she has pushed past Elite to become a Kidō Master.
