This Steers Steering (Koga/Yuuto)

Daifuki? Daifuki... Ah!

Ojo returned with the asked sweet, Ichigo Daifuki! She likes strawberries, so it made sense she had these stocked up. Don't say anything about it though. She'd probably cry. She remembered when her brother had brought up her sweet binging and didn't talk to him for a whole week after that. Yuuto isn't like that though.

"Here here, Captain~" She mused, putting them down for him before turning to return to the kitchen.

The next moment would be filled with banging and clambering as Ojo went about getting every dish and bowl she'd need for what she's about to make. Her height makes it so she needs a lot of extra stepping to get everything prepared. One thing about having a giant brother is the fact that everything's made more for him than her, but that's okay. She's become an expert at navigating tricky spots because of it.

It was hardly something that was required -- even if she didn't have it, just being there was plenty for him. Nevertheless, it did bring a smile to his face as she returned from the kitchen with the requested sweet, one that remained as she placed then down and walked back to the kitchen. Gingerly, the Captain picked one of the confections and took a small bite out of it. He'd have to thank her properly once she came back out.

As he heard the clanging from the kitchen, Yuuto leaned to the side, unable to see much beyond her horns peeking out from above the rather large amenities, as well as parts of her as she stretched to get the items required. His first thought was to try and see if she wanted any help, but, he remember what she said before, and remained in his place.

It felt a bit awkward, another situation where he needed to just...relax. But, it wouldn't be the end of the world. He had every confidence that she would be fine.

Oop! It's time! Hooyah!

With a mighty grunt, the large bowl of rice is tossed up, its contents flipping through the air before it slammed back down with a sizzle. Quickly, her attention's elsewhere, chopping up chicken into smaller chunks before leaving them to hurry and prepare the sauce. Suddenly, shallots are thrown into the mist, joining the rise in the big pot over the flaming pit as the spiciness of the Koga kitchen flowed free throughout the house.

Sweat down her head, a devilish grin on her face, the excitement of preparing a meal coursed through her veins as that spiciness turned bitter, the drifting scents like a knife jabbed into one's nostrils. Though, a good cook always checked up on their customers when there's any intermission. Thinking of Yuuto as a customer is probably wrong, but Ojo's in that sort of mood, her sweaty visage suddenly before the Captain.

"Yuuto! Is everything alright?" She asked, pulling at her collar just a bit as her outfit wet nature hugged her in certain areas, and accented the pureness of her white skin. A pure expression of joyful curiosity on her face, she couldn't help but shine.

She even has some nice Grüner Veltliner in her tiny hands.

Still taking a moment here and there to lean to the side and look over at the kitchen, Yuuto could both hear everything Ojo was doing, as well as smelling the various ingredients. He couldn't deny that he was rather excited, with how much effort seemed to be going into the meal.

The drifting scents suddenly stinging his nose and eyes, the sound of items clanging against the countertops and the sound of a knife smacking against a cutting board, all of it served to stir excitement, albeit tempered, keeping his composure.

Then, suddenly, she slipped out from behind the corner, asking if he was alright. Just as he was about to answer, he stopped, taking a moment to admire the sight before him. Aside from the enticing view of her damp clothes creating a rather form-fitting look, his eyes were more drawn to her expression, her smile. Such a genuine, pure look of wonderous curiosity -- he couldn't help returning such a sentiment, as a warm, gentle smile tinged his features.

"Yes, certainly. I should be asking that of you. Is everything alright in there? You look like you've worked yourself quite a bit."

"Cooking's fun, and we sweat for what we love," Ojo mused, knowing that her view on fighting is the same.

She enjoys both, so she doesn't miss an opportunity to dive into the depths of both, excelling and improving where she can. Be it with a knife or sword, she's pushed herself to be a master of both, but never full of herself. Her mind's always running with new ideas, and that sometimes gets in the way of her common sense, which is sort of out the window right now as she stepped forward and bent over, placing the drink down on the counter.

Her eyes rose to her Captain, the lovely blues of her eyes a clear day before she rose and pulled out a glass. She didn't even waste a second before pouring Yuuto a glass. It's only right she helps her usually stoic Captain loosen up just a tad bit more. He's going to need it for the meal coming his way.

"What's a bit of work at the end of the day?" She asked. "Isn't the satisfaction worth it?"
