Saera was in her element, her blood was pumping and her senses were on fire, and she wasn't about to let her prey escape. She threw the weight up towards the spot Shura reappeared in, the chain extending to keep it linked with her as she moved, and used her own shunpō to flash just behind and Shura, already swinging her club. The cuffs on her wrists and ankles glowed red as she swung, and she felt her muscles surge as the chains around her clinked and tightened.

"Prisoner's Wrath!"

The force of her swing was multiplied even after she felt her slow down slightly, still moving faster than before due to her boost from Shikai, but definitely feeling the bargain of her technique take hold. With any luck the blow would connect and knock Shura down into the collision of her own spell and Saera's iron weight.

The flail once flung did impact the spell, causing it to detonate early and explode mid-air. The ensuing explosion didn't help with visuals however, creating a small, localized smoke cloud to appear, so when Saera appeared behind Shura the best defense she could muster was turning around and bringing her arms up in front of her face as she was sent rocketing into the ground below.

The impact on the ground hurt like a bitch, but both of her arms were not only sore but knocked nearly entirely numb at the impact site from the flail. That wasn't to say they weren't injured, they were quite heavily injured, however the pain was almost all but gone due to the numbness. "Shura Kurata, release me!" The voice of her Zanpakuto whirled in her head, however as Shura pulled herself from the slight concaved ground she was shoved into she did speak but it wasn't towards Saera "Shut up." The words she said were spoken aloud, anyone that was even relatively nearby would've heard them though she wasn't looking towards anyone when she said it nor did her tone indicate they were aimed towards anyone present.

Saera followed through on the strike, making a spin to build up more momentum and throwing the club down after Shura with a crack and another shout. She rapidly reeled in the iron weight as she kicked down after the club, raising her leg to drop another axe kick directly onto the hilt of the club, aiming for a one-two hit of the club and then nailing it in harder.

She was probably being a bit more vicious than strictly necessary, but the third seats behavior rubbed her the wrong way, badly. She'd hoped to get the woman to...not really open up but at least return to form by using the universal language of the fourth, violence. Unfortunately it wasn't working, and frankly Saera was starting to get bored with this fight, which against an opponent of the caliber Shura was supposed to be was frankly insulting.

Shura had barely enough time to collect herself, let alone even begin the actual attempt to pull herself from the crag she found herself in before she felt the second and then third follow-up strikes that sent her careening back into the pavement. Shura wasn't unconscious after the third strike, though it was clear from her lack of movement she was heavily injured. Truth be told she was contemplating standing back up at this point, there was once a time where she'd have gotten up without hesitation yet now she was questioning if she even should.

It wasn't that she wasn't sure why these thoughts were plaguing her, she knew that reason all too well. Rather it was her wonderment for the purpose in such an action, for what was she fighting for now? Her Father would soon be gone... and Hitoshi.... she couldn't protect him anymore.

Saera hopped down from her perch on top of her club with a sigh. With the bloodlust that had been ringing in her ears seconds ago already gone the only thing she could see under her was an apparently broken and heavily wounded woman who was a shell of the proud being she once was. It was sad, it was annoying, and most of all it pissed Saera off, and unfortunately for Shura, spite is a fantastic motivator.

"Right. This isn't going to go anywhere and isn't worth it, at all, I'd get more benefit out of fighting one of the unseated members than fighting you like this. So what's going to happen here, is first I'm going to take you to medical to get patched up, and then we're going to sit and talk. I don't care if you want to or not, but you need to externalize whatever this shit in your head is before you wind up seeing dead relatives walking around judging your handwriting and eating habits."

With that Saera aimed a swift hard kick at the back of Shura's head aiming to knock her out before she would pick her up, reseal her zanpakutou, and haul the busted up woman off to follow through on her promise.
