Fight the sulk away [Saera, Shura, open to spectators]

Admittedly she probably should've been training more than she currently was at this point, but the thoughts that weighed on her mind caused her to put them to on pause at least for the moment. They were things she couldn't truthfully avoid any longer, thoughts and questions that she'd had circulating in her mind for many decades at this point. This was why she was laying atop the roof of the barracks, using the clashing of Zanpakuto below and the noise of training as something akin to white noise to keep her mind focused.

However as much as she wanted to ruminate, the sudden absence of the sun did cause her to open one eye to see what the cause of the blockage was. She was half expecting it to be Kanae truth be told, wondering why one of her strongest was lazing about in the middle of the day. To her surprise however, it was someone else entirely. The look on Shura's face wasn't one of... displeasure per-say, rather it was more a mixture of annoyance and just a hint of anger though probably not for the reasons Saera might think.

As she tried to rather bluntly demand that Shura get up and fight her, Shura had half a mind to simply close her eye and ignore the woman and had this been another day she might've actually done so. However she did close her eye without saying a word to the woman, before moving her body into first a sitting position and then to a standing one whilst grabbing her Zanpakuto that lay next to her.

Without a word to Saera, Shura walked forward and fell from the rooftop to land rather gently on the ground below before beginning to walk forward towards the center of the training arena.

"My 'issues' are none of your business." Shura said in a monotone, her eyes closed as she remarked. When they had both arrived at their starting positions she opened her eyes once more, gazing towards Saera without any particular expression on her face. She wondered what kind of bond Saera and her Zanpakuto had together, was it a cooperative one? combative? Or had they not even forged one yet?

It seemed however that Saera wished for her to take the first shot, very well then. Shura raised up her left hand, pointing a single finger towards her "Hadō no Yon, Byakurai" A single, rapid streak of blue light erupted from her finger, aimed squarely towards Saera's chest.

Tch... How presumptuous, how.... annoying. The Kido employed with full incantation did weigh down on Shura, however as small a thing as it might've seemed... Shura made it a point to not let either knee touch the ground. Instead pressing her right hand down against the ground and keeping her knee above it. If she wished to see pride, she would see the pride that Shura desired to show, nothing more.

"You're... an idiot..." She muttered as her left hand grasped her left knee and began to push herself back up rather slowly. Her head slowly rising back up with a grimaced look from the weight that bore down upon her, her right hand slowly rising from the ground, her fingers outstretched "Bakudō no Rokujyusan, Sajō Sabaku" Her fingers clamped shut as an ethereal yellow chain snaked its way down to wrap around Saera and bind her arms and upper torso together. "Rope of all winds, bind bright and bind tight... wrap and wrap and wrap again!" By now she was standing just high enough that her right knee was brought to a point where she could have both feet firmly planted on the ground

"You understand nothing about me, little Shinigami."

Rather than continue the Incantation for the failed Bakudo, Shura instead opted to prepare a different strategem, this time a Hadō, when at last Saera leapt forward towards her, Shura did not attempt to move out of the way nor did she even attempt to block... But rather she raised a single hand towards the leg as it came down towards her "Hadō no Sanjyusan, Sōkatsui" An upwards crackling of blue cone-shaped lightning erupted from her palm, giving Saera all but no time to properly escape though perhaps she might erect some kind of defense in time though Shura doubted it.

Regardless of Saera's actions, it was unlikely she'd be able to mount an immediate counterattack. Indeed Saera's recovery gave plenty of announcement that wasn't her next goal and instead chose to speak yet more on matters she knew naught about. "For someone who wished to fight, you do an awful lot of talking."

An appropriate response Shura thought, leaving Saera with few injuries overall as she made her retreat, though Shura herself had an arm that was not only scorched black but had been thrust backwards from the force. However shortly after Saera charged forward again, which itself was followed by the release of her Zanpakuto. This was what she had expected from the woman round one, however it seemed to take awhile for her to finally be at the point of simply doing it.

Shura however wasn't one to simply wait for her to approach to respond, and as the chained club made its appearance Shura's form flickered away in a Shunpo. Her movement was directly upwards about fifty feet, one arm outstretched with the other placed on it as a brace "Hadō no Sanjyuichi, Shakkahō" A small red flame appeared in front of her hand before erupting forth to shoot down towards Saera, aiming to explode on impact with whatever was first to make contact with it.
