Transform, and Roll Out [Makoto, Elyss, Julian]

"That sounds fine. I can take the couch, not a problem."

Honestly, the last thing on Julian's mind was the sleeping arrangements, but he was polite enough to just let the ladies not sleep on the couch. Besides, he probably wouldn't be doing much sleeping anyway, so that really didn't matter to him in the slightest.

"We can head to the room and talk about the rest of the day, yeah. Pretty sure there's other stuff we've got to do before we head out and meet with her, right? Might as well get ready."

Gesturing for them to lead the way, Julian was already formulating how best to go about all this. Odds were they could make it into the old combat areas without much trouble if they went in on Gotei authority, but the question was how much could they get away with there? Elyss was part of the 7th Division, so it might have been possible to say they were with her, but he'd have to discuss with the other two before he started making any plans.

"Fine, fine. Whatever, I wanted to see the place but I guess we can take it easy today."

Makoto shrugged while leading the way, eager to get into security of the room and be able to start planning the specifics of the operation. Wasting time was such a pain. It was sweet of Julian to offer to take the couch though, not that she wouldn't care if she took the floor herself. It was more that she didn't want to sleep in the same room as them that bothered her.

Such was the situation though, she'd put up with it.

"Here."

Skipping the process of getting there, she got into the room and sighed. A stretch to try and ease herself, this gigai felt so tight and uncomfortable. Now they could talk properly, she left the floor open for them to start. Makoto liked to have all the information before she explained her own plan.

Julian took a seat on one of the beds, bringing his hand to his chin in thought. He listened very carefully to Elyss' suggestions, and he had to say, she raised several good points. It was distinctly possible that whatever they were looking for could be connected to a secondary figure, especially if she were a Plus. They had initially considered a Plus to be the ideal outcome, but in hindsight, perhaps it would be one of the most troublesome.

"We cannot leap to any conclusions yet, but yes, I do believe that it would be most likely that, if this piece of Abalia has remained as a Plus, there is quite likely a secondary figure with her. We should stay aware of any energy signatures that we find repeating themselves in our locations of interest."

The second suggestion was less ideal, but he considered it even so. He doubted there would be much in the way of touring allowed in a recent battlefield, particularly when the Gotei were still operating in the area in a limited capacity.

"Subterfuge may be our best option. If the worst happens and we're found, we have the authority of the Captain Commander to fall back on, but it would be far from ideal to need that. Tonight we ought to spend our efforts on the battlegrounds, but we still have time today, I would think, to investigate the city center. This seems to be a fairly significant civilian center, so we have a decent cover to operate around."

While the two of them get comfy, she takes leaning against the wall as her spot to think and voice their ideas. It seemed a sound set of information that Elyss deduced, actually quite impressive though she avoided praising her again. They were trying to plan here, she didn't want to go on a tangent about doing something well when they were trying to do their next move.

"So an earthbound spirit, though rather than an anchor in the form of a place. It would be the a living and moving anchor. It would make sense."

There was the issue of investigation. They were all somewhat high ranks, vice-captain, third seat and forth seat. If it was just Julian as the only one with a high rank then she might've suggested they just pretend to be out to survey the area for Research and Development purposes. Though it might still be possible with Elyss' ties to the seventh division which managed Earth, her division to manage Soul Society and the the research part itself.

"I agree, I am less concerned with the Gotei interfering with the operation as I am more concerned about the Vandenreich since none of us have any ability to dismiss their interference. If we are going into the city centre then I shall try to passively find out information in regards to who or what we might run into trouble with. One of you could try to find a way into the area and blindspots for us to exploit."

Julian was, once again, relatively impressed at Elyss' plan, though obviously he hadn't anticipated her being incompetent or anything. That was a fairly intelligent approach on her end, and he nodded in approval as she finished explaining.

"That is a quite good plan. Be sure to leave your gigai here, as there would be little benefit to bringing it along, and it would presumably only indicate you had some sort of secondary business here. There is still a good bit of preliminary investigation to be handled in town, so I suppose that you can accompany Makoto and I in town before your meeting."

Of course, they'd only just arrived, and Julian wasn't the sort to leap at the first opportunity for action simply because they were taking a bit of time. This was a matter important enough that it was better to be careful than expedient when possible.

"I have no further information on her signature beyond its presence further into the main population center, likely in Key West proper. We'll presumably need to acquire transportation, unless we intend to walk across every bridge in these gigai."

It was one way to get the job done. It was also far less suspicious for Elyss to have the spotlight on Earth than if they did, two high ranking officers of two mostly Soul Society based divisions would raise some eyelids. Makoto kicked off the wall gently as things seemed to proceed smoothly. A stretch to loose her muscles and try and make space in the confines of her fake fleshy body and she straightened out.

"That's a good idea. It's getting fairly late though, I doubt we're going to get much out of people. For transport, we should probably stick to more mundane methods, how bad could transport be around here anyway? I'm sure we can also find some kind of spiritual nicknack people use in the living world to get around."

It was 2421 in a hyper spiritualised superpowered hi-tech world. There was got to be some kind of advanced method of travel which less spiritually gifted use to compensate. They'll just need to figure out what it was, if it at all existed and she wasn't being too optimistic for their situation right now.

"A bus or some other manner of common transport would likely be far more subtle for us to use. Elyss can expend more obvious means of transport later on, given her guise of inspection."

Standing once more himself, Julian made no particular indication of his discomfort from this gigai. In fact, he found it little more than moderately displeasing at worst, and he had no particular problem with operating as naturally as if he were outside the gigai.

"I did bring funds, yes. It shouldn't be an issue to handle the bus. Are there any other concerns before we depart?"
