The Madman of the Outlands
Oda Tatsuya
おだ たつや
おだ たつや
Tatsuya had come here to try the drink they had in these parts. He'd heard stories about Minatumi Harbour and the place within Asia. Wearing his jumpsuit over his Japanese clothing he left his zanpakuto strung across his back at the moment. His hand itched his head as he looked left and right. He smiled a bit as he stretched feeling a blast of sea air. He could feel this place so peacefully. It was a nice place to sit down and maybe fish. He wasn't sure of much about the location really. Tatsuya's battle against Stefan had altered him in many ways. He'd had to learn the hard way about some of the principals he considered. Tatsuya didn't know the way to grab strength or if fighting duels were the answer anymore. He'd fought Stefan and doubted a million duels would make him measure up any better. It was really coming down to a matter of him growing as a person. He'd remained a stone in a lake and came to an Ocean. This place was vast with more to behold then one could expect. So many points of view and ideas flowing around here like a roller coaster. It certainly was a baffling thing though in the larger respects. He didn't have answers to these sort of things. Tatsuya didn't claim to be one of the Oda's brightest men in the world. He was simple and perhaps easiest to understand as a common guy. He was the person you could find anywhere who accomplished everything through hard work. He reached out towards the ocean gripping a small splash of water in his hand. So why should anything be anything different from his normal process? Hard work could accomplish anything and move mountains. He had no plans to avoid or run from that fact by or large. Why had he come to Minatumi Harbour you could ask. The main reason was to clear his head largely since he knew it was needed. Conceptionally he just didn't have a plan or a strategy of sorts. He could only begin a journey of hard work and discovery. His body would need to grow and learn vastly to improve. Kido was his nonexistence point at this moment.
Couldn't run though, this wasn't something you could run towards fully. You had to learn to crawl before you could walk or run. In this world, he wasn't crawling just yet. No the fish in this ocean was far bigger. He wasn't depressed about it, but rather he was excited by the fact. That he could be so easily bested in combat by so many. It made this far more interesting, it let him explore infinite possibilities. To find himself within a journey as he set his travel bag down. Tatsuya's goal was simply to train in a way he'd not done previously. He wouldn't just duel millions of people to improve. It was time for His Oda Empire to evolve and grow beyond what he knew. Tatsuya had to leave behind his role as a Shogun to try and reach what he wanted most. To prove to himself he could best Stefan for now. But beyond that, he wanted to make a place where everyone could smile. Where those smiles would be protected and safeguarded by the strong. No classes of noble and commoner.
A gathering of people to protect those who needed it. To protect the smiles of the young and old alike. But that goal was naive and very far away. So, for now, he could only accomplish his goal and try to find more answers.

The Flame Of Hope
Artist: Hammerfall - Song: Hearts On Fire
Eating hotdogs. Was she going to get fat, eating hot-dogs all the time? Probably not. Given her body's metabolism and the way she worked out every day. She could eat a hundred hot-dogs and still not get fat. And probably still be hungry at the end of it. She ate like this to tide her over, but her actual meals were specialised things of ultra-high calorie intakes. And then, while finishing off her hot dog, sitting on the scaffolding of what was going to be the first apartment building of Minatumi Harbor, she saw a man appear. Maybe he wondered in, maybe he didn't know she was here, but it struck her as too coincidental.
Leaping off the building and not bothering to check her speed at all, she landed hard in front of Tatsuya, and gave him a casual look. Nothing, that said anything, but the way they had departed last time was not something she was going to overlook.
"Tatsuya" she said, a soft nod and certainly not the tone you'd use with a friend. "Do you have business here, or are you just coming to explore the place? Rumors are abound, after all"
