The Madman of the Outlands
Oda Tatsuya

おだ たつや
Ulv had a way with words and was a very intelligent woman. The teasing aside for the small display and him messing his words up. And not saying zanpakuto instead of himself. It came down to a simple fact of the matter. She was right and that this would take a long time. He rubbed his chin as he stretched a bit glancing out at the waves. "Because truthfully there are things I must accomplish before I can begin. I'm a nobody dreaming big with one supporter named Calypso whom I think highly of. " Calypso could believe so could he but he knew this wouldn't be easy. He would have to eat dirt and move his way through this world on each step. Nothing would come easy or be given to him. There were people who were better than him in both status and reputation. So it was time for him to go join a place and make a name for himself. Now that came down to a choice of sorts did he join the Gotei? Or did he perhaps find a different path for himself? Well, it didn't matter he would likely join the Gotei.
This was a place Tatsuya could call a home of sorts as he picked up a travel bag. He waited thinking for a moment before turning to face her. "I've no right to ask this, but do you think we could train a bit? I don't know what awaits only that I am unprepared for whatever it may be." Tatsuya's personality had changed from when they first met. He didn't know who he could help, but for now, he'd settle for making whatever Squad he was in happy. Whatever rank he got was good enough for him. Tatsuya's amber eyes looked at her as he asked her with a pleading look. Training would be good for whatever was about to come for him. It would help him grow and change from the man he was. That was going to be the key element to it all. Tatsuya needed not only sparring practice and training to better learn his power. But he wanted to improve and bring help to whomever he could. Whatever the cause of it, this was going to require some help. Ulv could say no and the entire thing ended here.
She had the say of this more so than anything. But he knew better than to wield his powers here. But at the end of it all, this was up to her. She could help him prepare for something he knew was coming. Something that lingered on the horizon beyond it all. Tatsuya could only hope she would say yes to his request.

Ahh, Calypso. She really did get everywhere, like Christmas carols or bad Triple Platinum rappers. It was fun to see, and interesting as well, that Tatsuya had changed enough to interact well with Cali and get good memories from the interaction. It was nice to see she had more friends outside of Ulv and whatever Demon she had befriended.
"Don't flatter yourself. Calypso gives her support to the tide so it can muster the enthusiasm to keep going in and out. It's hardly a point in your favour. Plus, the point stands, if you have things you need to do then go do them rather than wasting your time here"
Clearly Ulv wasn't in the mood to let Tatsuya get away without squirming under heel, and was still irritated about the attack. A Woman like Ulv could stay irritated for a long time because she was ladened with Fury, kept under check with her willpower.
"As for the training, I will have to refuse you on that point. The only training I could offer is training you'd never get up from, and one would assume that not being dead would be an important part in this desire to make a utopia"
