II. Personality Traits


» Personality: Cero is an individual that has a long struggle through his life to define who he is, and who he isn't, or doesn't want to become. He in many regards has many people in life that he looks up to and find inspiration from, it has shaped him to be a person that wants to protect the things that he cares about, but he is not one that wants to bring harm upon the innocent or not involved in the conflicts that they themselves did not cause. This has defined him as the type of person that is easy to identify as a hero in some regards, but he does not fight for the bows of order and justice, much of his action is characterized by how he has felt in life, and how he would like to repay the people that have helped him through life. He throughout time has shown that he can hold multiple loyalties without violating the others as best as he can.

Cero dislikes dangers in terms of bringing about harm, however through his struggles, he has learned that he wants something to change in the world in its current crumbling state, there are many difficulties that must be tackled, that some of them will risk conflict and harm, after all, one must take great risks, for an even greater chance at being rewarded for such. If one were to find what Cero did outside of his events in which he is defending the Earth and Karakura Central, one could still find him socializing, getting to know people, and trying to better himself from the knowledge that he can gain from others. He does, however, love also spreading sound with music and such, after all, he used to possess many gifts in the abilities to manipulate sound.

If one ever wanted to better know him, they would simply need to approach him, if he didn't approach them first out of curiosity's sake, he is very open to getting to know and introduce himself to people, while this may sound odd to most, but it is very easy to get Cero to acknowledge a person, even if they were an enemy, even on that he might even hate, but he will give them the honor of being acknowledged, until they have proved that it isn't worth to do such an action.

Among Cero's Value's, a values understanding above pretty much most else, since that is what he has always tried to have mastery over throughout his life. He also values life and is not willing to kill most of the enemies even should they be aiming for the kill themselves. While he does possess pure Quincy blood within his veins, since he lost his parents, he does not possess the same drive of the Quincy Pride to slay away at his enemies mercilessly after having for a small time experienced that won't accomplish much most of the time, when one acts on their own ambition towards it. It's also dangerous in many regards, in his mind for the Quincy race to unite under such a goal and since the fall of Hulderic Hylam's reign of the Vandenreich fell, he has kept an eye on them to make sure they don't stray too much onto a path that makes them repeat the same mistakes. He will protect Karakura if he feels it is needed, but otherwise, he is not comfortable keeping his loyalties to that of the new alliance that has been formed among the organizations within the city.

As for much more casual thing, Cero enjoys various snack foods over most things and has often been a fan of seafood, for his appetite. His favorite color has always been orange and for that, he has enjoyed the transition of day into night at sunset, he often experiences watching it alongside his childhood friend, as he friend enjoyed trying to paint the night sky once it has settled in.

Finally, due to the events of Shadow Falls attacks in Europe and Malaysia, Cero has developed a prejudice against all of the demon kind, while he might not admit that it is for personal reasons, this is how it currently stands.


III. Character History


» History Childhood (Birth-Age 5): Zero was Born on January 5th, 2395 but it is unknown who his parents are or there names because of his further history. It seems that Zero isn't even his real name either but that is to be explained later as well. He had a good childhood through at this time. It was a normal single child family. His father was executive of a worldwide company and his mother stayed home with him. Everything was so great at the time for them all but at 5, his parents went on a trip and he was to stay with a sitter. But it seemed that the sitter never showed up and the parents couldn't be called. When the Parents left leaving their child in a servant's watch it didn't get much better. It seemed this servant wasn't good at watching because Zero left and began to wonder the streets. During this time his parents went mission on their trip and were never seen again. The same was expected of Zero when they discovered he was gone as well.

Zero wandered the streets for a week until he meets another kid that called himself Haru and seemed to appear at the age of 7 but could be older. Eventually these to became great friends and would have some fun adventures across Central. But it was as Zero was about them to turn 6 that they faced there greatest threat which was called a blizzard. Even though they could find money for food and some clothes they couldn't seem to find good enough shelter. As they continued for 3 days in the storm they came across a helpful man. He brought them to his home and said they were welcome to stay if they could help him with a few things over the time. Ends up that this man would be worse than standing in the blizzard. Not only was this person a Scientist but an Arrancar scientist and he could see the potential in the two of them.

Early-Teenage (Age 6-11): As time went on it became a sort of bond between the three. It started as an ordinary thing where they would go out and do jobs for him and he would teach them and let them stay. But one day they crossed path with what was known to them as a hollow. It seemed that his friend Haru had special powers but it seemed they took over during contact with it. (this happened during spring when he was six.)

The creature through had knocked Haru away in an attempt to get to just Zero. But in an instant the man who gave them a home rush out of nowhere and cut the hollow in having with a sword that he hadn't seen before. After the creature was dead he came over to me and told me to help Haru to get home. The next day the Arrancar talked to both of them separately and together. In his talk with Zero, he told him about the creature and what it was. Then he told him if he wanted powers like his friend and he answered yes.[/b]

During the night he looks through both of there family trees through DNA and found Quincy heritage in Zero. So the next few days he tried to get him to understand how reiatsu works and how to control it from a Quinces way. By and of fall Zero could finally form his bow and fire a single arrow a day. But eventually, this was all he really did training wise through fall and winter. but on the first day of spring, the Arrancar told him to fire five at a tree. with the constant one-shot use, Zero had grown his accuracy and limit a lot over that time. After training them both of them for the next year to there limits that they could be considered the power of most experienced members of the Gotei but not yet at the seated level.

Their arr-ins changed to tasks to take down hollows and demons on outskirts of Karakura Central. Also, they changed as well. Both of them had changed over the two years from children playing around the city to Hunters for Hollows and demons. Then at the end of the final year, they were told to hunt down a shinigami and when they found him he was relatively weak. As they engaged in combat it was about to end very quickly with two against one but neither felt that it was right to kill him. seeing this the Arrancar steps in and deals the finishing blow on the Shinigami.

The reason that Zero and Haru had attacked the Shinigami because of how the Arrancar explained it to them. The Hollows and Shinigami have been fighting for a long time for victory but neither is fighting for good and the Arrancar said the mix of the two called Arrancar were the ones searching for peace but to defeat an enemy force must be used. With the whole shinigami, problem solved everything reverted to normal but as Zero turned then the Arrancar decided to let them roam for a little bit since they were capable of taking care of themselves with Haru's ziamachi powers and the many techniques that Zero has learned as well. He gave them enough money to last them food and shelter for two years. Anything else they needed they would have to get on there own.

As it turned out there were bounties on demons and hollows and Haru and Zero took a shot at each of them and got tons of money. As they continued this way it was how Zero got his first name because every time Haru gave him the money he'd come back with zero left. Originally he was called Quincy by the Arrancar and friend and buddy by Haru. But this struck to him and suited him well. It seemed by the end of this journey that zero was twelve and Haru was 14. Even without the Arrancar they still learned at the required rate would be as smart as the average for there age.

But something bad happened to Zero over this time, he became rebellious and the Arrancar didn't like that at all.


Mid-Teenage (Age 12-16): Zero continued to rebel being taught and being told what to do by the Arrancar and this is when the three of them began to split apart. It was in the next month that the Arrancar had created his solution. By creating a ziamachi spirit for Zero so that it would lesson to him. By taking apart of himself and creating a ziamachi called the voice was it possible. As the voice lay inside of Zero it began to take over and change him from rebellious to obedient and unquestioning. Haru took notice to this two and could tell that something was wrong over the year that went by. Haru was 15 and Zero was 13 when the plan to kill the Arrancar began. First by using his Ziamachi's abilities was he able to assist Zero in taking back his body.

The next day they were up earlier than the Arrancar a surprised him as he went to actually wake them up. Quickly the battle was ended and it was their victory over him. They quickly killed him and burned the home they lived in after taking multiple things with them that they knew were useful. But little did they know a small piece of the Arrancar named Key inside of Zero named the voice.

Now as Zero turned 14 the voice came out of its dormant state and took over Zero for a short time but long enough to get him away from Haru and to erase his memories. But after two years of zero looking for his memories and Haru's search for them have they reunited again. Also during this two years of searching there, skills had to be lost and regained so they both must go through training again to reach what they once were two years ago. But Zero some what used his powers during the time of memory loss so was closest to returning to normal but the Yayjuu would help speed up the process for Haru. After so Zero and Haru joined a group for there kind called the Yayjuu which welcomed them kindly.

After spending, a bit of time learning to protect the people of Karakura and the Earth as a whole, Zero due to his capable abilities, worked his way up the ladder that was the Yayjuu's chain of command, all the way to the Circle of the Beasts, he had gained the trust of the Yayjuu's admirable leader, Shadin Yuudeshi, working alongside him on occasion, he learned that Shadin operated under the tense pressure that he was the Beast and the primary guardian of Karakura Central. In addition to this, Shadin was an extremely busy man, he was grateful that he was able to take part in the Beast circle and he tried his best to maintain basic peace where the Yayjuu wished to provide it.

Under the pretense of representing the defenses of the earth and engaging the enemy, Zero took on the Demon Queen, Mana Ashtavon, in a battle that would end up practically killing him literally, but with the help of his current its spirit wanting to preserve its own life, his soul was put into a recovery using the ziamachi's own spirit to try and put Zero's soul into a stable state. From that day, his soul was in a very different formation, making him believe, even though his body was the same, that he himself was a different person, so he renamed himself, Cero Telca. Afterward, many interesting events of their own occurred, during this time that an old Quincy named Hulderic Hylam, came to visit him, revealing that he was the new Quincy emperor, and he desired to establish the Vandenreich. Given the new opportunity and experiences that could have come with that, he gladly accepted the offer and maintained the research and science divisions of the Vandenreich while Hulderic was gathering the Quincy once more from across the Globe.

Late Teenage-Early Adulthood Years (Age 17-22): Moving forward in his life, even though during this time frame was filled with uncertainty, Cero did not know what feelings within himself to even trust, but he did learn that trust was a very important thing in life as he was crossing the boundary into adulthood. It was during this time that the war for Australia began, Shadin Yuudeshi wanted to seize the land from the Monsuta, as the world as a whole has lost far too much free ground to not resort to the war, that gave back a flicker of hope and revolution to humanity. For Cero in particular though, he had to help Hulderic, as he was fighting his own assault on a Australian city that was being defended by the Kokuryuteshi Realm. Most importantly the way that Hulderic ended up executing his plans, attracted the attention of Sing Iramasha, the Princess of that realm. She was not happy with his action, cause a lot of destruction to begin, in which Cero became involved, show off a few of his skills before things continued to a point that Sing decided to retreat away from the battlefield, leaving words that echoed throughout his mind. During the fight as well, Hulderic pasted on memories to Cero of the first Quincy emperor, showing him that war truly was a bloody conflict that didn't end well for any of the parties that choose to involve themselves in it. Those that do, however, then to do it out of an ambition, or the need for survival.

Thankfully, there was nothing else in Australia that was to note, that required Cero's attention, so he had quite a bit of time to think about the things that had been told to him by both Hulderic and Sing, even the action that Shadin Yuudeshi had taken during and before the war, were the type of things that he was thinking about as the days pasted by and eventually he graduated from Karakura High, considering himself practically an adult as his 18th birthday rolled around during the school year as well. But that was merely only the beginning of his troubles, as there was a priced to be paid for the Vandenreich's involvement in the Australian war, and the Kokuryuteshi Realm, most certainly wanted someone to pay for blood, with blood. Across the Globe, Quincy-kind was attacked by the Kokuryuteshi Realm in the name of vengeance for their slain defenders. The Vandenreich's base in Antarctica was lit ablaze, as a message and statement, that they would not accept the idea of attacks on their soldiers, especially from weaker powers. As an effort to preserve the Quincy race, Cero tried to surrender and negotiate something that would be better for the innocents that had been involved in the conflict between the two organizations. In turn Cero, became an diplomat between the Yayjuu, and the Kokuryuteshi Realm as the two were likely to go to war, and there would need to be someone that could try to mediate the issues that would come.

Moving forward, Cero took it upon himself to try and create a form of balance between the two powers, and given his position of power within the Yayjuu, this was very possible, but as the organizations of Karakura, were uniting, and Cero knew that he would no longer hold that kind of influence anymore, and as such has not yet decided to join in on this alliance of powers, though he has made clear his intentions in the world, and whether people will choose to respect that or not will be up to them.

V. Natural Abilities & Skills


» Skills:

Abnormal Hearing/ Given his ability to manipulate sound, Cero has an extreme level of hearing, given to this, he also can be effected by an extreme sound outside of his control, if he can't take it, it would cause him a great deal of pain.

Swordsmanship: Iaijutsu/ Cero's choice of sword fighting style, with it, he has learned the style, but he still has a ways to go in perfecting the art over time. Given his speed though, it makes fighting what he has grasped can be quite terrifying, considering his blade extremely hard to follow. If pushed to the limit, he is capable of using his other abilities, to improve and make up for the weaknesses of this style. Working alongside his abilities, he has incorporated a few different techniques into the style as well, such as Swift Reverberation, and Blade Vibrations.

The Over-Arc (Second Motion): The Over-Arc is a expansion on Cero's Iaijutsu based, sword style, however as he has gone on with it. He has been trying to make use of not only as many strikes as he could within a small time frame, but he doesn't want any of his swings and energy to go to waste, so he developed, the Over-Arc with in addition his to Dues-ex modifications, to implement it over the time that he has had.

(The First Arc)/ Noted for how it is enacted, is through the triggering of Cero's Dues ex implants, which increase his overall capabilities even within his sealed state. The most noted characteristic of the first is the notice of Cero's Dues ex activating Overload, and up until all of his normal strikes, would require Cero to re-sheath, to have his best capabilities, which in all honesty, he pretty much has done to perfect and hone his skill in this particular art. Using this, has pretty much become an extension of the first strike, allowing Cero to make drawn out strikes rather than a swift motion and return repeatedly.

Under the first arc, one could consider Cero's sword attacks to be very straight forward and clearly driven far more than normal, trading repetitive motion and multi-striking, for a clear, forceful sword blow. Under the first arc, Cero can't very easy alter the path of his sword from it's original position, making it a very committed attack on his enemy, the momentum that he builds into the first arc is not one easily lost or prevented by Cero himself, alone.

(The Second Arc)/ This more or less, is a counter action to the first arc, for the second arc allows one of two occurrences to take place, while Cero is using over-arc. The first use of the second arc, is to maneuver, without exhausting the entire point of the technique in the first place. Using the second arc in this method, allows Cero to weaken the over-arc, but he can bring the direction of it somewhat under his control. allowing him a slight change in on direction to the other. While in this, Cero can't make the arc do a complete 180, rather his change would typically be within a 90 degree turn. A turn that could turn a near miss, into a weaker hit in the right situation.

As for the second utilization of Over-Arc, Cero can drive himself further into the arc, trying to not only drive himself to go faster and stronger under the arc, but pushing himself beyond the intentional mark of the arc. If the first arc was going was going across, he could trigger the second arc, using the boost to spin around in a boost for a complete 360 spin, where he can't change direction of his blade's angle. Using the technique in this method wagers a pay off in attempting multiple high powered swings with his Zanpakutō.

It isn't recommended of him to utilize the over-arc's second arc that often, in a serious situation, each use of the ability will cause him to gain a count towards his overload limit, and will furthermore, push his Dues ex Implant to it's limit. (See Overload below for more details on how this effects Cero's abilities and fighting style.)

Overload/ The Centerpiece of Cero's abilities and is an extension of his Dues ex-implant, a device intended to improve his abilities. And given his abilities, he has been learning to better incorporate, and create a way to go beyond the limits of certain abilities capacities. In addition to his own stats, creating quite a bit of stress on the implant til it can either cooldown or reaches its limit.

To utilize an Overload ability is the only one that he can use for the post, in addition, this will create the timer of time needed for the overload to reset to normal. The limit of Overload that he can currently take upon himself at one time is 5 posts and can be increased in the future as he begins to wield this power more. For each post that Cero uses Overload, he must also wait for a post for it to cool down, however it is not completely rested until the strain on it is 0. (Example: Cero has two posts of Overload, meaning he must wait for two consecutive posts, not a post of not using it, post using it again, and finally, a post not using it.)

Overload: Supernatural Stamina/ Using Overload, Cero increases his bodies, ability to function and sustain his movement and pace, making his need to rest, easier to push off, meaning that he could perform a combo or a barrage, that would seem to go on for a lot longer than it should without the worry of overextending his energy, without a rest.


VI. Hohl Arquero Skills & Abilities


Quincy Based(Arrancar)

» Arrancar/Hollow Abilities:

Sonido/ A natural addition to the typical Arrancar's set of abilities but with Cero it is his choice for the ability of speed, as it also ties in quite nicely into his skill set, given the amount of sound that the ability generates, and it is something that Cero tries to amplify or utilize alongside his other abilities.

Sonido: Silent Tremor/ Using the sound given off by a Sonido, Cero can create a movement that is extremely impactful on the area, that he touches, leaving a tremor that will shake and rattle those that are touching it, making one feel as if they are experiencing an earthquake up close depending on their position to him and his direction of travel within it. If one is unprepared for it, it could leave one rattled to the bones for the vibrations that would course through them, would leave them, severely unbalanced, to the point that one is likely to fall, and from there, they could suffer from disorientating motions, sight. Furthermore, their ability to react appropriately and focus on the things going on around them would likely also diminish under the effects of this ability.

Overload: Sonido Symphony/ Applying his Overload into the use of Sonido, the movement becomes extremely loud, and can be directed by Cero to create a blast of sound that can leave destruction in it's wake, creating a blast of sound and air, that would likely, leave the target extremely shaken and if they don't have the appropriate strength, would be blown away possibly by the blast. The blast itself from Cero's position would also be very hard to control as well, going past his limits the blast can be sent in one direction, the same one as the path he is moving and move and ally, alike can be effected with no restraint by this ability.


Regeneration/ Given the state of his defenses, the Hohl Arquero rather accepts the damage that is dealt with him if he can't avoid it and utilizes his high-speed regeneration to work away at making him function to continue fighting in the battle or fight that he is participating in. This ability has the appropriate limits that an Arrancar would possess towards the ability.

Overload: Maximum Regeneration/ Utilizing Overload, Cero forces the implant to take on the strain of the attacks that he is sustaining, making the device strengthen the regenerative properties within him, making minor injuries disappear in an instant, and moderate wounds disappear within the post, and finally, severe injuries are being brought into the state of the other category of a moderate wound, over the time of this abilities use. Given the need for this ability to save his life, it is set to trigger if it can, if Cero has lost consciousness, and will try to resuscitate him. Through, he will not be able will not be able to jump immediately back into combat should this ability happen to bring him back from unconsciousness.

Sound Manipulation/ The core of his Arrancar based abilities that he inherited from the Arrancar souls that are within him. Using this ability, along with his understanding of sound waves, Cero can create attacks and utilize abilities within the sound waves that are generated around him, and the more sound waves that are present, the stronger that these abilities can become within reason. Given the range by which he can influence goes beyond what one could normally hear, this power can also be used for making things discreet and silencing things that would otherwise produce sound, using sound waves themselves to cancel such things out.

Sound Manipulation: Echos/ A Creation of using spiritual energy but hosted by soundwaves, Cero is capable of making what appears like clones of himself, but their form is often claimed to be unstable (easily noticeable whether they are actually Cero, given the nature in which they look blurry compared to him except very long distance depending on the enemies sight), though they are capable of attacking with weapons of their own and using the energy that sustains them, to produce energy attacks. One would normally think that they aren't as strong as Cero, and in the physical sense of strength, they are quite correct, where they are wrong through is in the attacks that they can produce, as so long they are within Cero's range of influence, they use energy directly from him to create their attacks, allowing them to fight with full strength in that regard, but they are also just as taxing on Cero himself. Given this style of fighting typically they are limited to using Quincy arrows formed from gather energy, or Ceros and balas, depending on what the situation might call for to make it for difficult for the opponent.

It can be extremely dangerous to fight Cero from a short distance and within an enclosed area, as Echos are formed from the traveling of sound energy, he doesn't have an extreme level of control where they might appear, if they aren't directly next to him, so expect Echos to appear somewhere in a range of 50 ft. away from him at least, with that one exception of space. To fight against these echos would require for one of two things to occur, either the sound energy that keeps them intact must be stopped, or the energy that has been gathered to create them needs to be displaced for them to cease to exist. After having practiced with this ability for a very long time, Cero can produce up to 100 echos capable of fighting, in other cases of performing noncombat feats or to confuse enemies, he can surpass this limit, but none of them could be capable of fighting at that time.

Note: Cero may only use his echos and all abilities related to them, while he is in his unreleased state.

Echos: Swift Reverberate/ Alongside, his fighting style, Cero utilizes his echos as a force to help redirect himself at times, if it is possible, Cero could materialize an echo extremely fast by his side to grab on and help him redirect himself, or move his momentum into a whole new direction and within those few moments could make all of the difference in his movement and counter attacks. given the fast acting nature of this ability, the clones are formed practically right next to Cero when using the ability, and they only last as long as the maneuver, unable to make any kind of attacks towards his enemies.

Echos: Army of One/ It has already been stated that Cero can create a great number of echoes but normally they are quite spread out given the sound that they each can be produced from is typically not the same, but if a high level of sound is created Cero could create a group of echoes in one location and have them act as a unit accordingly. Typically this entails them becoming a firing line, as they will all tend to appear at the same spaces, and be able to line up at the same angle, making a barrage that is likely much more difficult for enemies to avoid.

Overload: Echos: Orchestra/ Using Overload, incorporated with his echoes to make them use every bit of energy that they are granted in a barrage attack, given the nature of this use, the levels of Ceros or Arrows that they fire would have much more power behind them, as after they finish this barrage, they would be considered exhausted in the same sense as if they were defeated or destroyed.

Guerra Llorar Cero (War Cry Cero)/ This Cero is a combination of all of Cero's energy sources. Formed from the hollow energy within him of course, but this attack can heavily be reinforced and enhanced by the Reitsu in the area and the amount of sound present as well, without all of these benefits, it would likely be weaker than even the basic Cero though, to better show the scale. So to say, this ability would most likely be at it's best in an area, like the Soul Society or Hueco Mundo, while many cry out or scream for whatever reason their maybe. This can be used to rival the Ceros of that of 0-1s in the right conditions and is considered Cero's most destructivepotentially. While many cases it won't be as quick as most ceros since it will most likely require time to gather up reinforcing energy of Sound or Reitsu. It may be launched at anytime at a slightly improved or not at all cero, in a way, aborting the charge.

Another effect noted about this Cero is the fact that even if it doesn't properly hit, the sound gathered within it is all released and may very easily deafen anyone caught near it. ( I will leave this up to the target but they should at least be deafen or have hard hearing in a 100 meter range.)

This Cero has no set charge time however it's overall power will be based on the amount of charge time and based on the fact that this attack in lowest conditions is his basic cero, however it utilizes during this charge nearby reitsu and sound making those attacks more difficult or require more time. Also Cero, can potentially spam this attack however is impossible to reach above a normal cero.

The AoE of this cero can be normal to a level comparable to gran Rey at best, however it destructive strength would easily rival Higher level cero.

» Arrancar/Hollow Modification: N/A

» Mask Appearance: Cero's Mask is very interesting for the classic look it takes but the lines that wrap around the jaw and outline are cover in black and blue.

» Mask Benefits: "The Mask: The mask will form over a number of posts upon its completion it may be used for one of two things.

First/ They may maintain the mask and gain increased speed and durability.

2 tier: Mask will last for 3 posts completely and then shatter. Takes 5 posts to build up.

1 tier: Mask will last for 4 posts and then shatter. Takes 4 posts to build up.

Lower 0 tier (0-3-- and below): Mask last for 4 posts but takes 3 posts to build up.

Upper 0 tier (0-3- and above): Mask can build up at any rate and be completed for the equal amount of posts but if charged up for 5 posts, it will last for 7.

Second/ The Mask may be used to improve their hollow abilities and make some abilities become an enhanced state. like one who would normally use only Gran Rey Cero might be able to pull off the Dark Cero with their mask on. Every improved move used will cut the number of posts they can maintain the mask by one"


» Soul Unification Appearance: Not too much is noted in Cero's appearance when he reaches this release. Though if one were to look into his eyes they can notice his normal color has been replaced with a very dark shade of red.

» Soul Unification Abilities:

Hollow Conscious/ After Cero has entered this release, he slowly begins to lose a sense of himself, as if he is giving into the whims of all of the souls that make up whole he is, and many of them are quite vicious, and have little to tell them to differentiate between friend and foe, unless a strong emotion of Cero is attached to them. Given this idea, Cero dislikes releasing his power while he is around innocents that he might end up hurting himself, instead of the enemy.

Hollow Conscious: Awakening/ However, as this mindset, is coming to fruition, Cero's ability to process things and make rapid decisions does increase as it would be as if multiple minds are working and weaving together, within one body. Cero's own voice once reaching this release is not understandable to the normal mind, and most of his attempts to speak are replaced by howls and roars, like that of a hollow.

Composer's Hand/ Within this release, a spiritual hand the size of an average house is formed around Cero, it is directed by the hand that it represents on creation and materialization. The hand will appear within 100 ft. of his body, and can act very quick as it forms within less than a post. It acts with the same strength of Cero, though it moves at a speed above even Cero's own, and can move anywhere within his line of sight, and if it manages to surround it's target it, the hand will wrap around the target trying to prevent them from escaping unless they can manage to pry themselves out or it is acted upon by another force. Should he lose complete sight of it, the hand will dematerialize in a matter of moments as the focus used for this ability is sight based. This ability can be maintained the entire time he is within this release state.

Overload: Chorus of Chains/ Should one be caught by the hands, to better restrain them and utilize the Dues ex implant, Cero can force the hand into a new shape, that of chains, that will latch into the ground and on anything that he finds might be stable enough to restrain the individual in question, there is even an option for the chain to lead back to him and allow him to grip onto it and pull the person towards him, so he can better attack and keep hold of them in this state. doing so would, however, require him to possess the strength to overpower them and bring them to him.

Hollow Conscious: Howl of the Beast/ As it was stated before Cero has a great deal of control over sound waves, and in using them while in this state, and under the control of his instincts he can often resort to creating a deafening blast of sound to disorient foes that he is opposing so that he might be able to go about capturing them or outmaneuvering them to gain the upper hand. To avoid this ability would require either oneself to act faster than the sound waves travel or, to be out of range of them, as otherwise, they are quite disruptive. Furthermore, if they are not of strong will, this howl can even demoralize people that are not of the same tier or higher than his as he appears very much out of his mind, and capable of anything.

Hollow Conscious: Tragic Piece/ The final piece of unique sound manipulation that Cero uses is that of a lure, his howls, fall silent as a soothing sound washes over the battlefield, and those unable to understand why it is all they hear in the heat of battle might be lost in what they are dealing with, as it is meant to be inviting and extremely pleasant to hear, it could even be used to encourage oneself to continue to fight against the beast. Given such this ability is a test of an enemy's mental deduction, and focus on the battlefield.


» Soul Expansion Appearance: Cero's eyes begin to now glow a bright red, along with this his skin has at this point started to pale, becoming the same color of the white that adorns his hollow mask, on could even say that his skin looks like that of a hollow, at this point.

» Soul Expansion Abilities:

Hollow Conscious: We are One/ Upon reaching and deciding to reach this release state, Cero, can try to act of normal consciousness after this state has been maintained for two posts, his mind resettles in its proper mindset, til then, anything that is around him is a living target, not described as friend or foe.

The Form of the Beast/ Comparable to the previous form's composer's hand, This ability covers Cero's body in spiritual energy to encase him and take on the form of a hollow beast, and it's size, is that of a large apartment complex, as it acts with massive amount, augmented to a level above that of Cero's own, and it still acts even at it's current size at a speed just below that of Cero's own. The form also shares in Cero's status and vice versa. Meaning if Cero were missing an arm, this avatar would also be missing it's arm, and if Cero were poisoned, the avatar would have a representation and act as if it were poisoned, however this in turn can also be a benefit as the poison can be gather and cut out of his body himself, the same can be done with a form of corruption, or infection.

The Form of the Beast: Abomination/ (This state requires "We are One" to resolve) Once Cero takes on this state, he may not leave it without exhausting himself completely and leaving himself, completely vulnerable once he leaves this release state. But once in this state the Avatar that he has been using in a beast form, will stand on two legs, and is free to stand however it pleases, in addition to this Cero may use the spiritual energy that makes up the avatar to form any weapon of his choice that will be of comparable size to the avatar.

Abomination: Freedom/ Should one try to restrain the avatar form of Cero, they will find there is a great deal of difficulty in this if one doesn't restrain the main body, as the avatar will tear off its own limbs in an attempt to free itself, very aware of its own ability to regenerate. While this shouldn't really be classified as an ability it is an extension of the abomination form that shows with intellect and understanding, that it can strategically break itself out of bindings and traps.

Overload: Abomination: Triumph/ Using overload in this manner, Cero grows the Abomination avatar to be comparable to possible the size of a 20 story building, while this might seem like merely a show of increase of strength, it is actually an increase in energy collection, that can occur and be maintained without overload, so long as the avatar does sustain moderate to severe damage, allowing it to be used to perform abilities that would need a massive amount of stored power, in this case, the only ability is "Overload: Abomination: Finale".

Overload: Abomination: Finale/ (This attack requires Triumph to be maintained for at least a post to be utilized by Cero, This attack also will max out his current overload limit, and force him out of his release after the post is finished.) The king of all abilities that Cero possesses taking it upon himself to detonate all of the energy that he has gathered up in his avatar into a variety of attacks.

Most notably, Cero can make the avatar continue to grow in size until it reaches its breaking point causing catastrophic destruction that would likely leave an average city with nothing, not even an amount left to call itself a ruin. Or in a more practical application, he can bind it all into a single shot of a Cero that extends far outside of normal range and the destruction it can cause on impact would be compared able to extreme level ceros. Finally, it can all be bound and tethered to a single shot of a Quincy bow, creating an attack from Cero that would be comparable to if he were in a state of Letzt Stil. However given his power and capabilities, where ever that arrow might land, it would have to be very powerful being or force, to match its destructive capabilities.

IX. Zanpakutō


» Zanpakutō Name: Sonar Bloque (Sound Lock)

» Zanpakutō Appearance: While it doesn't initially catch anyone's attention from far away, Cero's zanpakutou appears as a simple katana with the exception that it has a small small piece of metal at the end towards the hilt, part of the blade that is dull on the back side points out, in combination with the hilt, this makes each drawing of his blade create a clicking sound, when it is drawn, making it very obvious when he is doing so, but this feeds into his manipulation of sound.

» Zanpakutō Sealed Powers:

Sound Manipulation: Blade Vibrations/ Noted to be an extension of his sound manipulation, but the blade very easily incorporates sound letting it resonate very easily as it is one with Cero's nature and will. Meaning it can truly act as an extension of Cero's influence, and in some cases, if Cero fired his zanpakutou away from him, he could manipulate the sound waves that are around it, as if they were directly in front of himself. Though there is a distance limit to this ability as well, the blade must be at least within 5 miles of his location. this ability does not grant him sight of an area, but it can allow him to hear would he otherwise might not.

As a secondary use of the ability, the blade could mimic the effects of a saw in that its ability to cut through objects or defenses becomes much more improved, meaning that against lower leveled durability it would probably cut through them like butter while this is active, and in the case of those that have more sturdier defenses, it would slowly grind away at it, the more that it comes into contact with the defenses in question.

[mod]Alright, a lot of these abilities are extremely vague. I mean vague to the point that I don't even know what they do. They are going to need much more explanation, and the app as a whole is going to need a lot of refinement for this to be approvable at the previous tier. Also if the motif is sound why is there an ability to grow to the size of a twenty story building? [/mod]

I can understand the need for more details, as the more that is explained then, the better it is understood, though I am trying to make the abilities more so flexible rather than having a singular use, with this in mind, I should explain that Cero has few different themes, the core of his powers, and the way that he uses them without releasing, and after releasing are very different because I have always tried to play Cero as a character that has so much ability and capabilities, but in many ways, he has been gifted with more than he can handle in his current state and time. So to simplify this in explanation.

Cero's First Core Theme is Sound

Prior to release, he uses tactics and techniques of precision to solve his problems in a combat scenario.
When I made this character very early in my teenage years, I didn't fully understand everything sound was capable of so I complicated things by giving him more than what he probably needed in terms of ability themes.

So in addition to Sound, Cero has his Clone theme as well while unreleased. Fixing a problem some ranged character face in the idea that Cero can attack from multiple angles and even try to take advantage of blind spots. If I need to expand more on Echos let me, know, but I feel that it is probably a lot of the stuff dealing with his release forms that need more explaining.

So with that in mind, Cero's Core theme remains, Sound, however when he releases, he loses a lot of his human nature, as he is starting to use abilities that coincide with that of hollows, where Arrancars would revert to a monstrous form, Cero's mind instead takes this effect, becoming cold, merciless, and monstrous instead, I should probably move the ability of Hollow Conscious to a personality thing, but I figured it could be placed in the abilities as a limiter of sorts. And as with the Quincy nature to gather spiritual energy to create their weapons, in this case with the amount of power Cero tends to wield it instead takes the shape of body parts and eventually an entire hollow beast. I picture the formation of this Avatar made of purely spiritual energy similar in nature to the Susanoo from Naruto.

Finally, since I gave him a cybernetic implant that is meant to enhance his abilities, and wanted to test the idea of creating some along the lines of pushing through the limits, as suggested with a name like an overload, I wanted to incorporate into Cero. This is something that I could be convinced to change as best as I could if it is not working out as a limiter system for the idea that I am trying to make. overload, would be considered, Cero's second core theme, (though maybe core wouldn't be the right word for it, but it is something that persists throughout his powers), the ability to extend the limitation of one of his abilities in exchange of it is possible that he gets completely locked out of it, if he pushes too far.

So now that I have tried to explain Cero's themes as best as I can, I would like to know if anything needs to be expanded upon in his history or personality? Otherwise, I will simply work to improve the writing of his abilities. And if anyone has advice on a better way to format this then I would appreciate the suggestion.
