Strength From Master To Grandmaster


» Why:

Tier: The reason i’m applying for a tier upgrade is because as demonica has come up against the strongest foe that she has ever faced, the leader of the gotei kenpachi ibiki. This foe has not only brought her to her limits, but rather as demonica has been smashed, bashed, beated directly into the ground it has pulled more than simply everything she has out of her, it has pulled more then that from her. It has forced her to push against the limits that originally constrained her, has forced her to push against what has stopped her from progressing, to tear through that stagnation to reach a new level of power.

Demonica is brutal, she is savage and as seen in threads such as the one where she is fighting ibiki or even the one where she fought fantasia, or she fought kuro she is immensely powerful even by demon standards, the amount of energy she is capable of using is already at the point of being catastrophic. However at this point being capable of fighting ibiki blow for blow, time and time again i feel is really the final nail in the coffin that forced her to squeeze beyond the last drop that was within her, as on the cusp of her defeat after ibiki released demonica managed again as stated above to move beyond what constrained her, to achieve something greater for herself. This is why i’m applying for a tier upgrade for either 0-2 or 0-2+ due to the gravity of the situation she was in and what she has had to do to simply survive the hellish beat-down ibiki has given her.

Strength: This thread is the icing on the cake, but this is moreso the culmination of her threads. Demonica is brutal, she is an extremely powerful physical combatant. She has been capable of pulling off feats such as destroying large swathes of land, causing the very environment through pure drafts of air to change from the force behind her blows as seen when she was fighting and pounding mirja into the ground. As seen when sparring with arianda. She does not often use demon abilities such as zao ka, demon magic and shadow step, and usually tends to settle things with her fists.

When fighting ibiki she has managed to trade titanic and catastrophic blows with the suika at a level that the skies and landscape have simply been blown away from them as their punches collided. Beyond this demonica has even managed to after surpassing her limits managed a calibre of damage that would be capable of blowing a hole through several miles of rock into the earths mantle. It is because of these feats, and the fact that demonica is a bruiser of a fighter that i think when you put this thread into consideration and what she is capable of doing purely from strength, that a Grandmaster and strength could be applicable for her.

But it’s more than just the in thread achievements that she had gained. When i think of demonica as a character, she is purely brute strength, she is a being that loves to use her strength in the simplest manner, to crush those that she fights with every single ounce of her being. It is such an intrinsic part of who demonica is and what she has portrayed in many threads during her time in PH.
