The situation was certainly changing. The maelstrom seemed to react with a mind of its own as it tried to eat all the energy she possessed. Thankfully for her, such a feat was simply not that possible by normal or even predefined means. The massive amounts of spiritual energy she possessed were not easily matched, and by extension it's reserves not easily extinguished. Despite his power, not even her father’s spiritual reservoirs exceeded hers, and only her ex husband and Captain Commander was known to command a spiritual presence of a similar magnitude. After all, the massive amounts of energy she projected were but the bare bits she allowed to filter out for everyone’s sake.
”Let me show you something.”
With some visible effort, a great amount of spiritual pressure would be sent at exceeding speeds and magnitudes. It certainly shouldn't have been enough to absorb easily outright. Instead, it would be like forcing a speeding bowling ball through a garden hose. It should have certainly caused extreme stress onto the maelstrom, if not nearly destroying it to begin with. Alas, she still have plenty of reserves to push the envelope further should there be need, though she doubted it. It was safe to say that she was still somewhat distrusting. But why would she go along with it then? The opportunity was seen as a challenge that she'd have a lot of fun trying to overcome.
”How much longer is this gonna keep up? I can't stand here forever, unless I can just break it.”
If allowed she'd just get it over with and blast the damned thing into oblivion. Otherwise she wouldn't be standing there for too much longer. Despite having massive amounts of energy, it wasn't infinite. She did try not to make comments on what she had been told. Some things made more sense. The girl didn't have a Zanpakuto, which reflected on her power and the lack of control over her inner world. It didn't however explain how Hvit ended up with her and why did it posses Mirja’s look if it wasn't with her. She also came to the realization that Ulv was quite possibly a bit slow in several ways. Perhaps she was dropped in her youth or she was simply slow on the take up. Regardless, it seemed as though she needed a lot of help.

The Reborn Wolf
Maelstrom thirsts. Aiko's explosion of power was something that shoot it, causing it to twitch and flux, but then drain all the same. While the power was like shoving a bowling ball down a hose, this hose was infinitely malleable, almost like a small snake suddenly opening it's mouth and swallowing an entire cow. Ulv and Hvit watched, and then realised she was having some thought of contestation with the Maelstrom, as if she was trying to prove herself better than it, or something. Alternatively they could be entirely wrong because they were not Aiko, after all. But they did step in before it got too far out of hand.
"Unless you wanna drop your everything into it, in which case we'll give you a nice headstone and a good funeral, this is going to keep up beyond you. More people are needed to finish this without death. But you have quite the depth. With a bit of splicing, some fandanglement and a kick here or there for good measure, we could actually do this. Ulv! You are finally up, we need your help now. There is something only you can do for us" Hvit got incredibly excited, breaking the noble woman appearance for a moment in a frantic burst, before looking back to Aiko.
"Sorry. Got ahead of myself. You can break off now. And thank you. It was a tremendous assistance that you gave us so much. We expected to need more people for this, but you gave a lot more than we could have expected. Ulv?" Hvit said, looking at the muscle bound girl. She grinned, and then with a strange pop, Aiko was back in her own body, in the real world. Ulv patted her chest, feeling a bit full, before encompassing Aiko in another great Muscle Hug.
"Thank you! You have been such the super help with this!"

With a nod, Aiko would break up the energy link between her and the construct. She disagreed with their statement on its entirety as she fully believed the maelstrom would crash and whatever zanpakuto laid in wait destroyed before said fate would come onto her. But alas, just in case, she was smart enough not to push her luck just yet. As soon as they were done and the effort had been stopped, her body would be hard at work trying to recover what energy had been used up in a rather efficient manner thanks to one of her abilities.
”Don't think I did much but glad to have helped.”
There was still much she didn't understand about the girl and her powers, but it didn't seem like she'd be getting the explanation she wanted anytime soon. Maybe someday. Regardless, soon, Aiko would find herself where she had trained previously, wearing the same uniform she remembered wearing. The moment was brought back with a hug as she saw the girl press against her. With a warm smile, the woman would simply pat and caress her forehead, knowing that despite her rough and hardened body, she was a sweet and somewhat naive child in mind.
"What's next for you now?"
The question was fair. She needed guidance and training. She needed much more but she wasn't sure she could find all she needed in the Gotei. At the very least she had an acquaintance now on Aiko. So if she ever was in need of help, she'd only need to call on her.
