ENTER THE WATER DRAGON
Artist: Pink - Song: Luv - Word Count: 728
In the wake of a bright blue explosion, a figure emerged, twirling in a rapid and acrobatic motion before pummeling down, fist first against the ground. Before her fists hit the rocky surface, the dust began to raise, and the earth itself began to part and break away as if in nervous anticipation of the hit. With unyielding might, the punch would cave in, several meters below the surface as a plethora of rocks all around the individual split and broke, and raised and flew all around her. Despite the destruction, it seemed as though the damage was limited to an area of no more than 100 meters in diameter. It looked as though prior to commencing her routine, the individual had set up multiple barriers to avoid having any form of spillage that would compromise the surroundings and the innocent bystanders. However, though the attacks couldn’t exit the confines of the barrier, it wasn’t designed specifically to keep people out. As such, anyone could come in as they wished, though doing so would alert her of a foreign source of spiritual energy in her surroundings.
Unfortunately, Aiko didn’t get to train as often as she’d like. Though her workload was considerably less than her father’s, she was still tasked with an unreal amount of chores and a near impossible amount of tasks. Keeping the peace between the spiritual races instead of the Soul King seemed simple enough, but when faced with fools that simply wanted to destroy each other at every turn, complications were bound to arise. Still, there was far more reasons to continue to get stronger. Aiko didn’t claim to be the strongest in Soul Society, let alone in the Royal Guard; not yet anyways. However, with the increasing power and might of the Rakshasa, subservient to Devetta, the Royal Guard of the Soul King had their job cut out for them. She’d be damned if she would allow them to tarnish the name of her master and soil her career. While it was true that the Soul King commanded her to keep the peace among all, his security took precedent above all else, and the Rakshasa and Devetta were an insult and defamation to all he represented.
As the smoke and dust cleared around the figure, the long luscious locks of purple hair would be the first indicator of her presence. The long strands of hair reached nearly down her legs. And at a height of 5’9” ft, it was a lot of hair. Her outfit was simply her standard Royal Guard uniform. It consisted of a black hakama that reached just about her mid thighs. Meanwhile, white thigh highs matched well with the white kosode she wore just below the shoulders, as it clung as well around her neck, displaying the heft and gift of her prominent bosom. The design featured stylized red edges and a pair of Yin and Yang symbols at her side. To finish the look, her sealed zanpakuto retained its look as dark blue gloves with golden inlays that wrapped around her wrists and extended far enough to cover most of her forearms.
Closing her eyes for a moment, Aiko envisioned a thought of solitary commitment and eternal embrace. It was difficult to put into words, but it translated clearly into her next set of actions. Abruptly breaking her meditative trance, the woman would thrust one of her hands forth, using her Morning Sun ability to deliver an extremely powerful punch devoid of physical mass but that contained highly pressurized waves of air that cut and shred and ripped a large amount of rocks and trees off of the ground. With her other hand, and still with eyes closed, a singular and devastating blast of pure energy in the form of her Rising Sun technique would fire off. The blast was so dense that the rocks and the trees began to catch on fire and burn even before the blast had hit them, though none would remain at its wake, for the blast would have consumed and destroyed the rocks and the trees it met into dust. And as her eyes opened and she turned around, the conglomerate of dust, debris, pebbles, and shattered mineral rained around her creating an effect that was both fabolous and fearsome. The fun had simply just begun.
