Most people who would see Mirja would think that she was the kind of person that had no idea what she was doing when it came to anything that wasn't punching Hollows. But that was not true, as it turned out. Mirja was a girl that knew how to unwind and relax, to have a good time when it was needed. And nowhere was it easier to relax and unwind than in Ayuka Wagama. Such a funny name, but a great place. Small fishing village exploded into an improbable paradise on Earth, considering the way the Earth had been ravaged constantly over the years.

Mirja herself was incredibly surprised every minute she spent wandering around the place. She was still wearing her Shunshakusho, and wielding her Zanpaktou, but tried to walk about the place looking cute as she could while in a latex bodysuit, which drew a lot of stares from a lot of people. Her wolf tail and ears made that a lot easier, however. She was drawing eyes aplenty, and when she went to one of the many food stores to buy something to eat, the guy could not take his eyes off her, which was kind of bad when he burned his hand on the stove, which led to him backing into a rack, and falling to the ground in a string of super bad luck. She got a feeling of Deja vu from that one, but couldn't exactly place why, so she just backed away slowly.

After getting sufficiently far away, Mirja retreated hastily to go to the park, and just hang out in the sun. She generally preferred the cold, but a lot of people were in the sun, so she was in the sun. However, her latex suit was still rather overt and that drew some eyes even after they had finished staring at her tail. It seemed in this Idylic place, some people thought that fetishistic wear were bad news, because that meant the person got into all manner of naughty bedroom activities and this place was chaste and extra virgin, yes sir. Or something to that effect.

Mirja smirked softly at the barely hidden looks of shock. She wondered how they would react to that video she put up with Ceal that one time, if they were so negative to this simple suit. But, that went to the back of her mind. For now, she was here to have fun.

Eleanore held her breath as she walked upon the path of reiatsu forged by the Shinigami in front of her. This was definitely not where she saw herself being just the other day. Where she was going? The woman didn't know for sure. All she knew was that she was apparently "neglecting" to do her duty as a Substitute Shinigami. What an annoyance. And today was supposed to be her big day off where she got to laze around and do jack shit for the first time in probably a month. The number of murders in New York had spiked and so her time at home had become increasingly limited. Some nights she faced only a few hours of sleep instead of the full eight that was recommended. But now?

Her feet finally touched solid, reliable ground as she exited that space between worlds. Looking down, she found herself face to face with a woman who had... animal ears? And she was wearing latex?

"Mirja. The Gotei has requested that you teach this one about her job. It seems she wasn't fully aware of what it meant to become a Substitute Shinigami, yet she took on said responsibility regardless." The Shinigami said, giving a salute to the woman in front of him before quickly vanishing through the strange doors that they had come through.

Now with Eleanore being left here with Mirja, the woman stared down at her blankly, waiting for something to happen. Her hands were stuffed in her suit pants pockets as she waited for the woman to introduce herself. She was unsure if she should introduce herself first or not, so she gave the wolf girl the honors of doing it first. Speaking of wolf parts, Eleanore's eyes were locked on them as if they were some kind of alien organ. Because to her they were very alien. Despite the time that they lived in and the circumstances regarding the many races, Ellie wasn't quite used to seeing such animalistic parts on someone that looked so human.

Ice Cream! Yes, the wolf was having ice cream and it was good and everyone could stare all they wanted because screw them, she had ice cream. Nothing could come and spoil this day as she lapped her Ice cream and then suddenly a Senkaimon opened up, two guys told her that some chick didn't know what a Substitute Shinigami did, and then they left again, leaving her with the cutie. And it didn't ruin her day in the slightest.
"Wow, this has so not gone through Ibiki. But hey, Ichigo had no idea what a Substitute did, and look at him now" She exclaimed, shaking her head softly.

"Although, didn't know we even did substitutes these days. The demand for manpower is a bit too much that single volunteer can suffice. Four hundred years ago, sure, we had one, two people per city. Now we've got hundreds of thousands of the buggers on Earth" she rambled, before looking at the girl. A picture of human. Seemingly uncaring, staring at her wolfish appendages, and generally slack-jawed and not saying anything. "The job is simple. Kill hollows, don't die. Now that is over, tell me how you came to be this substitute. Maybe you'll become the next carrot top in time" she then set off walking, and motioned the girl to follow her.

Ayuka Wagama was a lovely place, and she was going to show the girl around. Not the city itself, that was boring, but the ancient ruins surrounding it. Of the world before ww3. You never knew what you could find in buildings that had sufficient storage to keep things intact and viable for future use. Mirja was going to use this woman, dumped on her lap so abruptly, as fuel to find something awesome.

The dog-eared woman started to speak, not quite surprising Eleanore but catching her off guard nonetheless. Her eyes lazily wandered from the person's ears to her eyes, keeping contact and trying not to get drawn back to her animalistic additions. It seemed she was blabbering on about the number of Substitute Shinigami and informing her guest on what her job was, but not necessarily how to do it. That was the part that Ellie was having problems with. And now she was being told to follow the woman, which she did promptly. Her hands were in her pockets and her eyes were now distracted by whatever it was that they passed on their walk. What a nice looking place this was. It made the redhead want to get out more, though that thought was quickly purged from her brain as she remembered how lazy she was.

"Some edgy kid stabbed me in the heart when I was about to die." Ellie said, reaching into her pocket with one hand to grab her box of cigarettes. "Henrex? I think that was his name?" the girl said before pulling out a lighter and lighting the little stick of tobacco wrapped in paper. A deep breath was followed by with a light chuckle as she remembered how the whole situation unfolded. "I'm just a shitty little cop in New York who solves lesser murders and apprehends normal criminals. Nothing like these people who can cause explosions with just the snap of a finger, though I guess that is part of my job now, since I'm a Substitute Shinigami, right?" the woman said, pulling the cigarette out of her mouth after another puff of smoke to flick off some of the dead embers. She was making sure to aim her breaths away from the woman, so as not to seem rude.

Mirja, The Wolf of Eden

Mirja was happy on the way to the outside, she really liked going exploring and with a new friend like this girl there was nothing that would stand in her way. She was going to explore and in exploring find some cool stuff! Only, it didn't quite turn out like that because when Eleanore told Mirja how she had become a Substitute, Mirja stopped and hung her head with a deep sigh.
"Of course, had to be Henrex, didn't it? He didn't take your virginity, did he? That's when he usually leaves without warning, and that would explain why you have no idea what do to. With him as your Shinigamier, I can assume you don't even know how to kill a hollow" she groaned, and waved her on to carry on moving.

"Ok, so you should have got a free sword with your conversion. Not entirely sure what it looks like to be honest, it's different for everyone. That sword, you should look after. There is something growing inside it, you'll probably be hearing voices soon. You aren't going mad, it's the thing inside the sword talking to you. I'd show you but I kind of have problems with my Zanpaktou right now. It's sort of caught in a time lock thing that I can't break. Just gotta wait" she exclaimed, strolling through the city and then out of it as if she knew exactly where she was going, which she probably did. "That sword, is used to kill hollows and send souls to the cycle. See, when some people die they can't let go of what keeps them here, and so eventually they go mad and turn into large monsters that want to eat other people. It's our job to take our swords to their faces and split them in half" she finished giving the girl a basic run down, before gesturing with her head.

"So come on, let's go for a run"

ELENA GENOVESE

The two individuals were strolling along, one happy and the other apathetic about her situation. As Ellie was explaining how she was bestowed with the powers of a substitute Shinigami, the other woman stopped and hung her head with a sigh. It seemed that she wasn't the only one with low expectations of that Henrex kid.

"My virginity?"
Ellie said, stifling a laugh as best she could, "Sweetheart I lost that a long time ago to somebody that was more... respectable."

Though she did appreciate the concern, one of Ellie's monthly concerns was whether or not she could find a person to sleep with, if only to alleviate the stress. She wasn't necessarily looking for someone right now though, since she had just gotten some just last week. Nonetheless, she listened to the wolf woman go on about what her job was. She should have gotten a sword? Well she got two, and as far as she was aware that was a rare case. And it was supposed to start speaking to her too? Ellie could feel her head spinning already. There was an intense doubt in her heart that anything that came out of her wouldn't be incredibly annoying. And with all of that out of the way, the cop was gestured to follow this wolf woman for a run, which she did promptly without any hesitation.

"What's your name?" Elena asked, unbuttoning the top two buttons of her shirt to keep herself from choking to death while running. It didn't even strike her until just now that she didn't know what this woman's name was. While not really bothering her, it did seem disrespectful to not introduce herself, and she wasn't exactly in the mood to get on an ally's bad side. "My name is Eleanore, but you can call my Elena."

Mirja, The Wolf of Eden

Mirja took off at a very slow jog - to her at least, it would probably be a flat out sprint for the girl to keep up with - and then smiled as she admitted to losing her virginity to someone a long time ago, and to someone who was better than Henrex. Not really hard, but still.
"That's good. I don't know the story, but Henrex was dating this girl, and it seemed that as soon as he had stripped her of virginity, he ditched her and went for another girl, also virgin. He'll probably give you some edgy sob story but I really have had enough of them from him by this point" She said, not even giving it a thought that the girl might not be able to talk and sprint. The world was so slow to her these days. She needed speed that the girl would not achieve for a long time before she was anywhere near satisfied.

"As for your swords, they are not just weapons. Like a plant, you should give it a few hours a day where you just sit down and hold them, try to connect with the being inside it. It's called Jizen, which basically means Sword Meditation. You can drop it once you break through into your Inner World and you unlock your Shikai - which is the first state of release for your sword - but until then you should work on it. And then in a couple of decades you'll get your Bankai, which is the second state of release, and is generally really awesome. You never know what kind of situation could be improved with your Shikai. A few people will say that you shouldn't use it so frivolously, but what kind of friend doesn't help out when they can?"

ELENA GENOVESE

Elena would have smiled if it weren't for the fact she were basically sprinting to keep up with this woman. Jeez, was this part of being a Shinigami? It felt terrible not being able to keep up with this woman who seemed to be barely trying, even though she herself was well in shape for normal human standards. Whether or not this was a product of years of training or if Ellie was just late to the party, she didn't know. And just as she started to feel herself get to a good pace, the woman started talking again.

It seemed this Henrex boy had a bad rep with this woman. That was for sure. Ellie didn't blame her either, he really was something else. And not necessarily in a good way. That being said, he wasn't a dick or anything... asides from the fact he made Elena waste a cigarette by plucking it out of her mouth and telling her that it was bad for her. But there was definitely something about him that spoke "young" and "inexperienced". At least with life or social standards, that is. He could have been amazing at doing his job as a Shinigami, but that didn't mean jack diddly squat when talking to other people.

And the woman mentioned meditating with her swords? She never was one for "spiritual" bullshit of the metaphorical kind, but if that was what it took to get her swords to talk to her directly, she could see herself doing that every day. Progress was something that Elena liked to see, especially when said progress could take place in her bedroom every night before she went to sleep. That would make it a lot more convenient considering her work and living conditions. And speaking of such... should she quit her job? No, she needed to pay the bills. This was something important, but not as important as making sure she had a proper roof over her head and a bed to sleep in. Food was also important, she supposed, but that wasn't something she had to worry about much since she usually ate so little.

"Hey..." the redhead panted, trying her best to keep up with the wolf lady. "You never answered my question. What's your name?" It was surprising for Ellie that she could talk while sprinting like this, but it wasn't something she hadn't done before. It had just been a while since she had to sprint like this, let alone talk while doing so. It made her surprised she was still in shape enough to be sprinting for as long as she was.

Mirja, The Wolf of Eden

Mirja wanted to pick up the pace, drastically desired to sprint off, slip past the Sound Barrier and hit mid-mach speeds. She tried to keep her pace measured, but she would be slowly peeling away from the girl's attempts to keep up. Mirja was not the best sprinting partner unless you could match her speed and her endurance. Something that the girl didn't have, but then she was human. And she was smoking, so it was a miracle she could even manage to keep up with Mirja from the getgo, and not be left in the dust.

Then, from rather far behind her, the girl asked for Mirja's name, apparently having asked before and Mirja just totally missed it because she was a dweeb like that.
"Ahh, right, sorry" She said, dropping back to be by her side but not breaking pace at all. "It's Mirja. Mirja Eeola. You can just call me Wolf-sama if you'd prefer" she teased, giving the girl a wink and a seductive grin. "And, you know, you should probably work on stopping smoking. They don't smell that good and it will impede your ability to run long distances. We've still got about thirty miles to go" she announced. The girl was pretty decent to keep up with Mirja for this long, but Mirja doubted her ability to go much further.

ELENA GENOVESE

Wolf-sama? Elena wasn't some disgusting closet weeb. If she liked that kind of stuff she would have been a lot more forward about it, but she really didn't care for it so there was nothing to hide. She just figured Mirja would do, and left it at that. No reason to go overboard. The "seductive" grin and the wink only made Elena roll her eyes, as it seemed a little more corny than anything else.

After what was about 7 miles, Elena was huffing and puffing her last breath. Her pace was slowed and Mirja was but a dot in the distance at this point, and so she stopped. There was no point in overexerting herself so much that she passed out. That would only make this visit take even more time, and Elena wasn't keen on staying here for more than a day. Standing there panting, now waiting for Mirja to realize she left the woman behind, Elena looked off into the skyline and took in the scenery. She had never been to... wherever this was. Whatever it was called. It looked nice, but it wasn't the city she worked in, and it wasn't anywhere near her apartment. While it was nice to see new sights, it was even more distressing when she thought about how she would get back. It didn't help her mood now that her suit was drenched in sweat.

"Making me run so much in a suit..." the woman muttered to herself. "Well, it's not really what I expected to do on a tuesday but..."
