Meeting People [open]

As Mirja's foot connected with Hollow-face, there was a loud smash, and it send the hollow a dozen feet back, before smashing heavily into the ground. This guy was a big one, a worthy hunt for her today. The Wastelands were a place she could not get enough of, a place were the Fifty Year War never truely ended. And it might sound strange and a bit wonky to a lot of people, but she felt comfortable in the Fifty Year War, she felt like she belonged, like she was worth something. So she hunted, she patrolled, she killed Hollows for her own self-enjoyment.

Still, she couldn't linger in the past, mentally, for long. The Hollow had recovered surprisingly quickly, and didn't seem at all happy to have been hit by Mirja as hard as it was.
"Well, it's good to see something that doesn't just go down like a bitch. Come on, let's dance"

Taichou appeared from the distance. Watching the woman dance with the Hollow, in a beautiful tango like fashion. A smirk rose upon her lips, her cheeks dimpling, and eyes then crinkling as it did so. With a sudden burst of courage, she hollered towards the other, "Hey! I can heal you.. If you get hurt.. I can help you!"

As she said this, she took a step forward, timidly, as she couldn't really predict the actions of the other woman, who was fighting the Hollow; because of this, all she could really do was watch at the scene unfolding before her. This left her feeling somewhat useless.

Mirja heard her darling angel appear from behind her, and call out that if Mirja got hurt, she could heal the silver-eyed Witch from the damage done. It was a concept that really amused her, to be honest.
"Hurt? This is me you are talking about you know. This sack of naughty Hollow crap couldn't hurt my hair!" she exclaimed, before the large hollow smashed her off her feet with a full-handed stroke, and then roared in triumph. Once it had displaced the Shinigami, it set it's voracious sights on the Plus girl who had just shown herself.

With nothing in between her and the tasty tasty snack, it charged forward, vicious intent clear and present in it's eyes. This creature would not stop until it had devourered the Plus in her entirety.

Her gaze flitted to the form of the Hollow. She clucked her tongue at it, almost mockingly as she then fixated her gaze on her maestro for half of a second. Following this glance, Taichou felt yet another surge of newfound confidence, and in this new headspace, she closed her eyes.

Steeling herself, the female then began to visualize tendrils of her spiritual essence extending from her bosom, and swirling violently around the form of the Hollow, binding it, and impeding it from making any other movements towards herself, or her maestro.

Alas, Taichou had over-estimated her abilities. She dropped to her knees, and felt her energy being drained from her; exhaustion now washing over her like a blanket, but so, she persisted, hell-bent on assisting the woman known as Mirja.

Expectantly, she focused her gaze once more upon that of her master, while struggling to maintain her grip on the Hollow.

Mirja was irritated immensely by her own lack of focus, and by the facthat she had been hit by the Hollow, putting her soon-to-be Shinigami friend in danger. This atrocity could not stand, and so she quickly released Beowulf in it's full form, and absorbed the light photons from the surrounding area, in a wide berth so as not to create the bubble of darkness that usually went along with the technique. However, just as she was about to fire her Heat Beam, she saw that Taichou had managed to subdue the creature for the moment, clearly catching the dumb brute off guard with her awesome tricks and skills.

It was, however, large enough to dislodge Taichou, and cause some damage to her if it was allowed to regain it's wits, so she would not let that happen. Closing the distance with a Shunpo, she stuck her hand out at it's head, and then blasted it apart with her Heat Beam, disintergrating the mask, and causing the entire hollow to disolve. Once that was done, she sealed Beowulf, and looked at Taichou, slightly abashed.
"Sorry. I shouldn't have let you get into such a situation to begin with. But you handed it very well"

"Thank you, maestro." She bowed before Mirja, a sign of respect to her master. She stared in awe, watching intently as the Hollow dissolved into nothingness. Having little energy remaining, Taichou began to wobble, and struggled regaining her composure.

"Watching Hollows dissolve never gets old... Is it that way for you?" Her eyes now burned into her mentor, searching her face for some sort of tip, some sort of.. inkling into the vast ocean of her mind; in an intent manner.

Mirja moved forward to steady Taichou as she wobbled, and smiled at her. She was such a cute little thing. Mostly the Maestro thing. If the girl wasn't so young and innocent, Mirja would show her just how much of a Maestro she was, but that was for later. Now, was just a period of time in the wasteland when the Hollows were absent, and the two could share words. Not that they couldn't back home, but still, it was nice to talk to her now and then.

"I had fifty years of watching Hollows dissolve. And watching cities get destroyed, a rampant army of Pluses, death and destruction further than the eye could see. But no, watching a Hollow reintergrate with the cycle of souls has yet to lose it's appeal for me. Enjoy your job, and you'll never work a day in your life" She grinned, softly playing with Taichou's hair. "So, how's your Shin'o Academy training going? Do you feel confident about the enterance exam yet? I'd help you with your spiritual stuff, but I never really had it down myself"

"I'm feeling quite confident in the spiritual aspects of the test, but it's the physical aspects that I'm worried about... What if I get a wound, and my test proctor thinks I'm a weakling because of my size?"

She let out a "huff," like noise, almost pouting to herself as she felt her master Mirja's fingers within the onyx locks of her hair, playing with it. She then once again glanced up at Mirja, her eyebrow cocked upwards; an inquiring gaze now, as she was wondering why her maestro was grinning at her. She then rose her left hand to her hip, resting it there, to add an even more exaggerated effect to the overly-dramatic facade she tried to embody.

"It must have been one hell of a sight for my maestro," she chuckled to herself internally within the confines of her mind; as she often liked her inner monologues. She then attempted to think about the view her master was now getting; hair astray, snake tattooed hand on her hip, and the most pouting, ludicrous/inquisitive expression plastered on her face. She snickered again mentally.

Mirja listened to Taichou's worries, and then dismissed them with a wave of her hand.
"Please, if they think you are small and weak, then just send them to me. I'll be 'Hmm, you think my darling is small weakling? Then go visit the Heavens!' And then I'll uppercut him so hard he will fly off in an awesome manner. Then they will get a new proctor and he will not dare think you are weak, and then you will pass. Just as Planned" she exclaimed, striking a magnificent pose and grinning broadly, like an inane idiot.

Then she looked down at Taichou, and giggled softly. The hair all a mess, and the most amusing look on her face.
"If the wind changes, your face will stay that way. And wouldn't that be a ruin of such a beautiful face?" she teased, bending down softly to be face-to-face while grinning broadly, and moving to sort of Taichou's hair.

"It would be hilarious if my face got stuck this way, maestro. Oh, the looks on the faces of my classmates as I kido them into the dust..." Snickering again, out loud this time, she flared her nostrils; contorting her facial expression into that of a monkey's, before the fire in her eyes returned.

Continuing, she stated, "I can just imagine you kicking all of their asses."

Her facial expression now slackened, as she looked up at the other woman, once again with inquisition, though now blankly. "What are you thinking about?" She brazenly asked, almost ashamed of her brash action; she then stammered, now feeling herself under scrutiny as her master straightened, and sorted her long locks out of the tangled state that they had just been it.
