Meeting People [open]

They were talking about Ladon, why he was brooding. Until he heard the words 'they brood for no reason.' At just that single phrase, Ladon's face changed quite quickly. He grew a frown, his eyebrows furrowed and arched, his eyes became narrower. It was clear now that Ladon was fucking pissed at that single notion. He had a reason to be 'brooding' his fiance had killed him, and then was killed by a fucking hollow. If that's something not brooding over, then what the fuck is? At this Ladon took on a much different stance, position, and his hand was on his Zanpakutō, shaking, trembling. Now, he noticed it. Definitely a strong presence. Great, just what he fucking needed.

He drew his Zanpakutō and looked at it, thinking to himself. I know your name yet you won't respond... why...? he shoved that thought aside and brandished his Zanpakutō. The blade shimmered with ice as ice slowly covered the blade, making it much sharper. He also made an icy mist around himself so he could use it when needed. It was time to fight apparently...

Mirja nodded at Taicho's response to the sudden, pressure of a dozen hollows. The girl was invariably heading in that direction, so Mirja followed, arriving reletively swiftly, while the Hollow Horde was still on it's way to surrounding them.
"So, you know there is a massive horde coming, right? Would be prudent to call out your Shikai. Your ego is not worth your life, and fighting these guys without it would not impress me anyway" She told him, pulling out the small Wakizashi from her hip and holding it out in front of her, towards the Hollow Horde. "Crush, Beowulf!"

The Zanpaktou them morphed, turning onto a pair of knuckle-dusters, which just fit her character really. But, before much else could be thought, the ground shook, as the horde came into site. And topping it all off, was the large, black form of a Gillian-class Menos.
"He'll be the smart one then, aye?"

Taichou, continuing to follow the Soul Ribbon, ended up face to face with the Menos Grande. It was the first time she had ever encountered one; though her mentor had told her many-a-tale about them, and their ferocity. As soon as her thoughts raced around every bit of information she had ever heard about the Menos, it shot its tongue out at her, within a blink of her eyes.

Stunned, Taichou lept out of the way, almost being grazed by the Menos. She watched intently as its tongue then destroyed the earth that she had previously been standing on. Gazing up at the Menos, she began to distance herself from it, by running. Not really the best tactic, but as Taichou was not a Shin'o Academy student yet, she panicked.

Ladon stared up at the Menos Grande. He sighed softly, noticing how this thing was strong, but he couldn't tell who was stronger, this fuck or Nemesis. But he was thrown off when Mirja yelled at him to use his Shikai. That... wasn't exactly something he had. The last he heard from his Zanpakutō, from Gekido, was their name. Besides that, nothing has been spoken between the two ever since. He prepared himself and he soon jumped in front of Taichou out of instinct, cutting a couple of low level hollows down that were rushing towards them. He didn't notice that she had started to run but, he went into a frenzy now. Hacking and slashing the hollows that came his way.

Ladon wasn't powerful, but he was still a tryhard. And damn does he try as hard as he fucking can. He eventually had to move away from the Menos that was trying to squish him under foot. He'd rather not become a frozen blood patch on the ground. He continued to fight, not sure what the other two Shinigami were doing. But, now was not the time to keep exact track of them, he had to fight.

Mirja saw the kid was distinctly know doing anything Shikai related. It could be because the kid had no Shikai, which would make him a dumb idiot for being out here alone without anything to fall back on. But then, he was a guy, so dumb idiot really summed him up in Mirja's eyes. Taichou seemed to be doing the smart thing and backing up, which Mirja reinforced with an order.
"Taichou! Take the kid and get out of here! I don't want either of you to end up as greesy stains. Or overcooked steak if big guy decides to let off a Cero" she told them, hoping that Taichou could get through to the guy before he got injuired.

With the order given, Mirja crouched softly, and then launched herself upwards, towards the head of the Menos. That was the biggest target, so she had to take him out, and quickly.

Nodding in regards to her mentor's orders, Taichou extended her right arm, as if it were like a clothes line; running at the fastest speed she could manage with her short legs, she seemingly collided with male known as Iwashikeru-San.

Upon collision, the female Soul, with Ladon now draped over her arm, continued to run. Her voice strained, as she mustered to speak while carrying the man, "Gomen, Iwashikeru-san, but I've orders that you and I are to retreat. Why didn't you use your shikai?"

Suddenly Taichou skidded to a halt. The two of them were now surrounded by a horde of six Hollows. 'Great... Just what we need..' she thought to herself, before she instinctively steadied herself; setting the male down and channeling the remnants of her energy into accumulating her spiritual essence at her finger tips.

Ladon was still ignoring the two, not caring what they said about him. Of course, it was hard to ignore someone that basically slammed into you. Considering how these two, Ladon and Taichou, were basically at the same power level, Ladon could've gotten out of her grip after a little bit of struggling, and maybe with some ice but, he didn't care. Though, after a little, taichou did stop. Ladon knew why she stopped; Hollows. It's always the fucking hollows ins't it? Whatever, Ladon was going to kick their asses, at least, that's what he planned to do.

He brandished his Zanpakutō, he looked at his Zanpakutō once more Come on Gekido, answer me! Of course there was nothing, Gekido still won't speak to him, why? Well, the obvious answer was that he wasn't powerful enough to use his shikai, but, he didn't know that. Gekido in all their mysteriousness will stay so for now, mysterious. Ladon sighed and then brought up his Zanpakutō to block a strike. But, he had an idea. He had ice... and he was gonna fucking use it. He summoned ice on the blade of his Zanpakutō and then touched it to the ground, covering the ground near them in ice. This did tax him a little since he has never tried this before and that it may be a bit above his capabilities currently.

He exhaled softly as the hollows stepped on the ice and slipped. They fell flat on their masks, uninjured, and angry. They weren't exactly getting up all that well, but, they were starting to get used to the ice. Ladon hoped this would give Taichou enough time to prepare some kido. But, Ladon had to wonder something. Why the hell is her name Captain.... Ladon shook his head, throwing that thought aside as her covered his blade in ice again, creating a razor sharp blade in preparation for the hollows. His eyes glowed blue, ice blue, as he stood waiting, focusing. Preparing to strike. As soon a hollow came in range, he would strike. The fight had just begun.

As if she could read Ladon's thoughts, Taichou called out to him, "My name doesn't stand for Captain. It means ebbing tide. Different kanji." She chuckled to herself, a grin rising upon her face as she did so. Her spiritual essence crackled at her finger tips. A gleam caught her eye.

The young Ryakketsu then raised her right arm parallel to her shoulder; bending fourty-five degrees at the elbow, with one karate-chop like movement, she released a burst of her Reiryoku, watching as it cut through the air directly in front of her, and inflicted slashes upon two Hollows through their middles quite deeply, though not deeply enough to cut them in half.

She cursed. "Damn it... I don't have enough stamina left.." Grimacing, she readied herself to release another blow.

Mirja was on course to smash her incredible fist into the Menos' Mask, when she was derailed by a Hollow that had either jumped, been thrown, or even flew up to were she was. Could never tell with these dam hollows. Knocked off course and send barreling away, there was nothing to do except slam her head into the face of the Hollow that had knocked her away. The force of it caused the mask to shatter into pieces, and the Hollow inside dissolve into nothing from the blow. She twisted as the ground came up to meet her, and landed hard, grunting as it sent a twinge of pain up her leg.

That was not her greatest worry, however, as the Menos seemed to take notice of Mirja, and charged a Cero as she was falling, blasting it out just as she landed, and scoring a direct blow on the Shimigami, blasting the landscape apart with a destructive red beam.

The two Hollows Taichou had wounded became enraged. She grit her teeth, releasing another blast of Reiryoku, this time, aiming for their masks. Her slash-like blow hit them with enough force to destroy their masks, effectively causing the Hollows to dissolve. Taichou's breathing became heavy; she was reaching her limit, fast.

"Two down. Think you want to try your sword, Iwashikeru-san? I don't know how long this ice is going to hold them..." Her voice trailed off, as a Hollow charged at her, and another, began charging in the direction of Ladon. Not good. 'Fuck.. Give it all you've got, Ice Boy.'

Fearing her blast of kido wouldn't be enough considering her depleted energy levels, Taichou channeled her strength into her legs, leaping high into the air, and flipping so that she landed on the back of the Hollow that had been charging towards her. Curling her fingers into a fist, she cocked her arm back; throwing all of her weight into it, she sent her tattooed fist flying through the back of the Hollow's head, effectively shattering its mask.

With resistance, as the Hollow dissolved, Taichou floated back down to earth; literally and figuratively. "That makes three," she stated, before taking steps towards Ladon, readying herself to help him if he were to indeed need it.
