What Tracks Are You Listening To Recently?
This thread is mostly for sharing any sort of song you've recently been listening to. Then, you just share it for others and maybe give a little commentary on it.
I did some music searching this morning and I've been listening to some of these tracks for most of the day following my morning run:
This track just puts me in a trance and makes me think of more sublime and thoughts. Thoughts that help take me away from reality for a bit. This effect became beefed up by ten times given the fact I was running and, at one point during my run, I came to a clearing where one half was sunshine and the other half was darkness and thunderclouds. It just gave me a sense of pathways my own life could take and just riding out whatever comes.
As for this one? It's more somber in nature to me as I listen to it over and over. It just puts me in the state of mind where I'm drifting through space and just engulfing myself in a blanket of melancholy. I recommend listening to this track more so at night than anything else since it puts you in that distorted mood.
The second song in this video is more energetic in nature, but it still just gives me melancholic vibes of happier memories. I suppose the reason for that is because I was listening to it during my run and it came around the time where I was placed between serenity and chaos with the way the weather was going. As I kept running through my trail, the clouds darken, but I still could see skids of sunshine, placid colors and so on. So it give me a sense of trying to maintain happiness through darkness.
And this song just seemed more serious and melancholic as well. As around the time I got to this track, it was getting darker, but I just felt an urge to keep going. So, when the song pumped up around the 00:48 mark, I just felt a sense of empowerment as if I needed to keep powering through the storm that was coming down and fight saddening feelings, negative thoughts and emotions with more willpower.
When it comes to this song, though, I've known it for years, but I've been listening to it more to help calm me down. It takes me to a place similar to a cold, snow-driven mountain and makes me feel barren and isolated. It's a gloomy feeling, but the song still relaxes me. It's one of my most favorite electronic/IDM songs, so if you have something critical to say about it, it damn well better be good.

A song I found from Demolition D+ not too long ago. Pretty chill, probably for doing work or something.

Delicious. I will snatch this one to for my workout list. So, in return, you get one of my intense workout songs:
I love to listen to this when I'm ready to start putting in HEAVY guts into my runs and start pushing my body to the limit with the power a nuclear Okuu!

A lot of music I get from the same channel. Guy has built up a nice diversity in melodic metal instrumental and power metal over the years.
