What Tracks Have You Listened To Recently?

Probably a lot of people here don't listen to rap, but I've been listening to a bit of Kendrick and this song resonates with me a bit. It's good to listen to while having a smoke, a drink and just trying to chill out from a lot of nasty vibes. Just you and the vibe. Been stressed and it's been a song I can relate to whenever you got a good thing going on and something is always trying to take that high away. Just turn that shit up and zone out.

Been listening to this to just chill out. Started just zoning out to this song since melodic metal sometimes helps with meditation. It was apart of Neoveta's Void tracks, but I've grown fond of it. Even helped me when working to enter a state of trance and detach myself from a lot of stuff.



This has a Yousei Teikoku vibe to it, but that's probably why I love it. It's a pretty fast pace song and helped me a bit on runs and writing. Brings out more of my demonic muse when listening to songs like this. Definite Asthavon material.



This is another more dark song, but the ambient feel is relaxing. I just imagine sinking in a cold room of black water and letting whatever awaits below dissolve me into a chill.



This track gives me a fripside feel, but I always associate fripside with fall and it brings the feeling of autumn to myself. I just imagine walking through a field of leaves, the sun is shining and there is nothing but open sky above and a feeling of looseness in me.

I've been listening to this one a lot for most of the week. I did a pretty hard run to it before my phone died out completely. I just get a feeling of melancholy whenever I listen to it for the first minute and twenty seconds. Though, after that point, I just feel it takes a more uplifting turn. It's still depressive, but it gives me a sense of fight in it even if things feel glum. It feels both good and bad when my mood just doesn't make sense; so I ran pretty hard to this song until those feelings were eased.

Listening to this reminds me more of a summer warmth, even though it's getting closer to winter. It's more work out music, but I feel a pretty good sense of liberation and freedom when I'm pounding the pavement or hitting the weights when this comes on. It's quite metal, but I feel the energy behind it makes me feel good and weightless when I'm pushing myself. That way I don't get exhausted and quit. Even listening to it now makes me feel a hot sensation in my chest and I'm ready to grind.




Going to keep up the flow of metal since this band is REALLY good. When I listen to this, it gives me feelings similar to the one above, but towards a more determined direction instead of being aimless. I just imagine going down a dark tunnel that steadily gets brighter until I'm finally able to reach the light that is my goal. Especially towards the 2:30 part where everything just turns turbulent; just like how things are in my head at times before it evenings out at around 2:50.



This one is more lighthearted, but I've been listening to it a lot since yesterday. I've been loving me some Undertale music lately and this has piqued my interest a bit. Especially the bit at 1:16 to 1:46.

I've been listening to this one a lot over the past day or so. I just kind of zone out when listening to it.

Coming in with another update



^ I've been listening to this one probably the most and it's my favorite since my last update. The reason is because I feel can channel a lot of negative feelings into it and just focus hard on overcoming them. That is, when I'm training on my runs, I'm meditating my mind and it helps me to go harder. It really came in handy in my race when I needed that extra push to help me win and during my training prior to it.



Eurobeat is always fun, right? Right.

Good lyrics are good to, right? Right.

Combine them both and you have something that makes this wicked awesome song. I love it since I interrupt the song as shredding your weaknesses and wanting to aim for something above that. Been listening to it when I've been on my grind lately. Gotta be calm in the midst of the storm!




Don't have much to comment on this one, but I like the darker vibe to it if you listen to the lyrics and the beat of the song. I usually listen to it during the night when working or keeping busy.



This one is a trip. If you have the time to spare, enjoy 8 minutes of IDM and experimental fuck.
