Another Day, More to Hunt - Page 2 Ra8bkl

Pnt. Pnt. Pnt. Pnt

Was all that could be heard in the sewer as the sounds of multiple footsteps echoed throughout it's walls. It sounded like there could be three, four, five maybe even six of these things. As they got closer the footsteps got louder, louder and louder until....POOF. It seemed like they had all disappeared. Not a reitsu trace or any other kind of hint that these beings were down here. Maybe it was all in their head. Maybe there really wasn't anything down here.

Or maybe it was a decoy~

Soon, outside of the Sewer, a small sized hollow appeared with a sewer plate in it's right hand. The hollow had a white and green color mask on it's upper body, a metellic looking skin on most of it's lower body, arms and tail and very thick claws with a weird green glow around it's tail. Quickly, it slammed the sewer plate down to seal the other two in the sewer. Then, to ensure no one would get out of there, the hollow pointed it's right hand at the sewer plate and engulfed it in a neon green light that acted as a barrier of some-sort.

"Kukkuukukuku" Was all the hollow could say after sealing the sewer plate. He quickly placed his eyes down on a the Arrancar in front of him. The hollow then tapped on it's eyes once as if he was activating something. And in reality, he was. After he tapped on each of his eyes they both had a bright neon glow coming from them. What he had just did was powered on a special switch in his eyes that would display how strong an opponent was, what race they were from the reitsu their bodies gave off and if there were any other beings nearby.

"....you....you're an Arrancar? What are you doing siding with these fools?" Said the Hollow as it leaped right at him with it's left claw, which seemed to have a black tint to it. "Don't you know, their enemy!" The hollow then made two more attempts at slashing The Arrancar before it jumped in the air and attempted to slash Ryokoshky's face, then throat and finally his chest with his right clawed feet that also had a black glow to them.

~Meanwhile in the Sewers~

Something was coming. Something BIG. After the sewer lid closed shot a roar could be around coming all around them. It wasn't a roar from a hollow or any other kind of beast, it was a roar that shook the whole sewer. It sounded like a friggin' Tsunami wave. And in truth, it actually was. A giant rush of water was coming to flood up most of the sewers in order for the hollow's to gain the upperhand in this upcoming fight.

"You fools sure did pick a good spot for us to ambaush you at!" A voice echoed throughout the sewer as the water got closer and closer to them. "You should have stayed above. Now we're gonna teach your little friend a lessen that he shouldn't go around trying to pick fights with us hollow's when we control the world." Echoed another voice in the sewer.

And finally

BAM

The water came rushing in a like a bat of hell as it engulfed the entire area of the sewer where the Human and Null were. And in this water was three hollow's. Each of them similar to the one above the sewer expect one of them had red where the original had green, another one had black and the final one had a blue color. All three of them opened a hole in their palms and started firing beams of blue light similar to a bala at the null and human. Each firing 20 hits from each of their palm. Totaling over 120 blast's in a matter of ten seconds.

The hollow's then split apart. The red one appeared above the ground, the blue one below, and the black one to the right. "ATTACK!" Yelled the hollow in red as they then had a weird black liquid come off of their claws and had it wrap around The Human and The Null in the shape of a sphere. What this actually was is a powerful poison meant to weaken opponents over the duration of the battle (You'd notice the effects after 3 post, moderate effects at 10 and the full effect 15)

And thus...the assault began

He was surprised the thing noticed so fast, what also surprised him was it's speed, he barely had enough time to get both feet off the ground and his arm's up to protect his face before he slammed against a wall. He a fine slash across his chest. He let himself slide down the wall a bit, acting as if he had been injured badly, in fact he had felt something seep into his blood stream but other then that a minor scratch was all that it was, with lots of force behind it. He stood up and dusted himself off, removed his back pack and stared at the thing. "If i were a scientist, you would be an interesting subject, to bad." He sonido'ed in front of the hollow, and then went into a quick succesion of kicks, hopeing to land one, then spun low with a kick to the feet, as he then stopped, on both feet in a ball, he jumped up, aiming at the sewer grate, he fired a series of bala around it, then a single cero at the real barrier. He just hoped that was enough to break through.

The male had growled being hit by the wave. The black liquid sqpheres washed away over the waves of sewer water and pushed me back.The bala blasts missed him just barely As he let the 120 balas fire he noticed another plate aobve him. He quickly jumpe dtowards the plate as he punched it open going onto the surface. As the male growled in annoyance as his favorite hoodie was damage.''Your gunna pay all 100 yen for this hoodie!''The male growled lowly.''you null get out the way now!''.The male pulled out a small lighter and went towards the area where the three hollows were at. As he scratched his palm aiming it towards the area where the hollows were underneath the sewers.'he put the match where he was bleeding.As fire caught onto it He placed the pallm of his hand onto the ground as it caused a large explosion.The male shot up into the air,his arm was burnt but the regeneration process began almost instantly as red electricty formed around his burnt arm healing it quickly. As he Hit the ledge of a building he growled lowly in pain.Thats gunna leave a mark.The male was about to fall off the building as he caught himself on the ledge.He front flipped himself forward landing on the buildinbg looking down at the crater bellow woundering if he had killed any of the hollows and worried about his null friend.''I hope I killed at least one of those bastards....and that null guy is ok.''The male questioned as he stared from the rooftop hiding within a shadow.

Instead of moving away from the hollow and out of the blast radius, Nikilo actually shot forward on his monolith, zooming as close to the hollow's as he could. Flipping out his Seele Shneider, it was quickly charged up and ready for action. His own personal null tool sliding into his other hand, it too was soon charged up. The black blades hummed and buzzed in his hands as he got closer to the hollows. Leaping off his still flying monolith, he quickly sliced a special sigil into the black substance. Electricity began to sizzle in the sewer, as it got closer to the canal filled with green water. Zitteraal-Schicht was the name of the enchantment he had used. As it struck the surface of the water, the electricity surged across the water. The funny part about Nikilo's enchantment was..it was permanent. A constant surge of electricity was output by the floating, black square, lighting the sewer up with blue lightning. Thankfully for quincy and null, their techniques took reiatsu from the atmosphere...and so did their items, if used right.

Spinning through the air towards the hollows, Nikilo's blades flashed near the red hollow, their cutting power maximized. A harsh smoke filled the sewers from Musashi's technique, and was taking too long to clear out. Pulling out a black heart, he tossed the heavy device at the ceiling. It quickly exploded above the man, creating a massive hole in the roof of the sewer and street, which soon vacuumed out the smoke. Until the fire was put out, it would rage for decades. That was Null magic. Landing on the small pathway, Nikilo continued expertly slashing and weaving around the red hollow, the black blades slashing along the area.

"Don't play games with me, Arrancar!" Shouted the hollow as he began infuriated with his attitude along with the fool not answering his question. "And don't you worry about my 'upgrades', idiot!" He then locked on target with The Arrancar until he soindo'd. "Heh, two can play at that game!" When The Arrancar came in front of him, The Hollow tried slashing it again, but when he started kicking him he was taken a bit off guard and was kicked into a wall with a small thud as a good sized carter appeared on the building.

"STOP THAT, YOU!" Shouted the hollow in anger as he witnessed his barrier shattering from the bala's the Arrancar had fired towards the sewer plate. "GOD DAMMIT!" The Hollow then quickly jumped up, pointed his right hand towards the cero The Arrancar was forming and began to charge up for a laser blast out of a hole that was formed in his palm.

Then....BANG!

A few blocks away from them a large explosion rocked the area like a mighty earthquake as smoke quickly filled the air and then suddenly disappeared. Only one thing could have caused this...something must've happened in the sewer."What...what in the world!?" Was all the flabbergasted hollow could utter out of his mouth as he stopped charging up for his attack. "Gah, I can't worry about them! If they couldn't keep up, I need to save myself!"

The hollow then leaped from building to building until he finally made it up 100 feet in the air and aimed down on the area where The Arrancar was. "You may or may not have defeated my comrades, but you certainly will not defeat me!" And with that, it opened it's mouth as wide as possible and began to charge the laser canon hidden inside his chest as a green light with lightening surrounded by it started to emerge around the outside of his mouth.

"BE GONE!"

And with that, the hollow let loose a powerful beam of destructive energy that could level 50 square blocks if the Arrancar didn't do something.

~Meanwhile in and outside the Sewers~

The gang of hollow's truly did not see that coming as the explosion leveled the entire area. It caused a great deal of damage to all three of them. The Black Hollow suffered critical damage as it was buried under rubble and water. It could no longer move. The Blue Hollow suffered the least damage, but still had burns, scratches and power lost from the explosion. He was able to jump out of the carter once the explosion was over and was met by a crowd of screaming humans that was running away from the scene. And finally, the red hollow was KO'd by the efforts of Nikilo.

However, the black and red hollow's still had a plan up their sleeve. Even though they were out of commission to battle, that didn't mean there still wasn't energy in their bodies. So quickly, they each formed their final attack's that would suck out all the energy and reitsu from their body in the form of black spheres of light.

"We...failed...." And with that, they each had the balls explode as another explosion took palce that would cause even more destruction if the duo didn't do anything to stop it.

Meanwhile, the Blue one decided he couldn't take the two of them alone and decided to start running in and out of alley's with his damaged body.

"Shit...I didn't expect those bastards to pull that move. I was sure the water would have at least drowned that disgusting human. Oh well, I'll just keep on the move until I find 'him'" And with that, the robotic hollow boosted his speed by special parts on his legs and began running like nobody's business.

He had to get away or think of another way to win this if they came after him.

He watched as the barrier broke and the sewer top flew off, he instantly saw the flash of light that would surely be his death, other then the plan he got. He jumped up and grabbed the sewer top, twisted around, to face the blast, he then hardened the ground that was under him with reishi. He then threw the sewer top with all his strength at the blast, then sonido'ed onto it, using a couple bala blast at the water to help speed the disk before it fell, he flew at the blast with sword drawn, and a black cero charging in his hand. He allowed himself to fly with the cero in his hand charging and his scimitar, morrigan, in his hand to seem almost fun. "Come in, come in, you safe down there musashi, come on, were are you!, my hollows on the run and he left a fun surprice for me." He just hoped he could destroy it with his sword and a well charged cero burst, at close range.

The male coulndt hear the voices of ryo.The male saw one of the hollows running that was critically wounded from my explosion.''Bingo'' He said quietly as he went into the alley the hollow was in.He smirked as he ran at his inhuman speed he used his jumping for to shoot at the hollow 10 feet from him. he opened his hand in a spear like way as he attempted impal the hollow from behind at a critical spot somewhere on his torso.The males smile grew largely as smirked. he jumped using all of the force in his legs to attempt kick him into a wall.A loud crash was heard from afar as he looked sencing a hollow was attacking ryo. He tossed his dead equpment to the ground sighing looking over at his opponent whom was 5 feet from him.''hmm....These holllows...have advanced quickly..''. The male smirked widely jumping backwards a little farther in case the hollow tried to attack.He awaited the hollows next move.

Shit. Nikilo was in trouble. No..wait... maybe he could survive this. Those blasts were merely reiatsu, for the most part. He was a Null, an off-breed of quincy, for fucks sake! De-activating his true-sword, he slid the hilt back into his belt. Flipping out the second seele-shneider, he activated it with a simple squeeze. Rushing forward at full blast towards the balls of energy, he jammed the black blades deep into the balls of energy. As the seele shneider's buzzed away at 3,000,000 rpm, the reshi was broken down.

And then absorbed by Nikilo Flamme. Soon, most of the balls had disappeared, and Nikilo felt stronger than ever. Unfortunately, some of that blast was actual energy. As it exploded and sent Nikilo flying, he felt the seele shneiders crack in his hands, before breaking. Luckily he had turned them off first, so no real damage ruined his hands. Grabbing onto a railing that hung from the roof of the sewer, he propelled himself away from the still electralized water, and landed with a thud on the pavement. Fire tormented his vision as he got up and brushed away the ash. Acquiring a canteen from his pocket and popping the stopper, he jammed the index finger of his left hand into the mouth, and forced reiatsu-liquid into it.

Soon, reiatsu had collected enough to fill it half-way. Placing the stopper back on, he inscribed several sigils into the canteen, before focusing. The reiatsu changed inside of it. So did the oxygen. Soon, he had a specialized healing potion. Bringing it to his mouth and popping off the stopper once more with his teeth, he guzzled down the potion.

Soon, his burns healed. Soon, his visions cleared and cuts smoothed over. Soon, the effects of the poison were flushed out of his system naturally, through sweat and a bit of vomit that he ejected out of his mouth as spit. Slipping the canteen back into his pocket, he pulled out the hilt of his sword once more.

It flaring to life, he began a slow pace through the fire towards the husks of the hollows, twirling the black, buzzing blade in his hand. Focused and determined, he was ready to finish this.

When The Arrancar made contact with the blast, it was neutralized by The Arrancar's cero and simply exploded in mid-air. Destroying nothing, really."Why you little fool!" The Hollow then used a quick-boost of speed to appear behind The Arrancar. "Sure, you KO'd my blast, but you left your back opened!" And with that, the hollow proceeded to attempt to dig his claws DEEP into The Arrancar's back. Another strange thing that happened during this whole process was that his claws had turned jet black and had liquid dripping off of them. Could this be... poison? Why in fact it was. If this poison were to get into his body it would accelerate the effects of the poison already in his bloodstream and began to cripple and weaken the Arrancar.

The hollow then snarled at The Arrancar and tried to land a swift kick with his right leg that also had the claws on his feet covered in the poison. Then he jumped 20 feet backwards and growled very deeply.

"You may have destroyed my follow brothern and foiled our plans, but I will NOT let you win this battle!!!" The Hollow then let out a roar as two more sets of poisonous black claws appeared from out of his knuckles. Now he had two more deadly weapons to end this fight. But that's not all. This Hollow was specially equipped from the others. Soon, some of the skin around his belly began to open up and look similar to a turbine. This turbine then had a poisonous fog quickly engulf an entire half-mile feet area in the sky. It was dense, thick and almost impossible to see through. If you stayed too long in here your lugs would begin to have a sharp cutting feeling in them, your eye-sight would worsen, your body would become numb and you would actually start to be weaken. If not out by five post the effects will eventually lead you to be unconscious and eventually dead.

"Your not going anywhere, you are going to DIE here!" Then, two square holes opened up on each of his sides and back and shot out two balls of lightening that went outside the smog and created a barrier to trap them in. The only way he was getting out now was to either kill the hollow, have someone fire a strong attack at it or wait for the Hollow to deactivate the barrier.

~Meanwhile in an alley~

Glancing back behind him, The Hollow took notice of the human and quickly turned on his feet in order to be face to face with it. "You killed my partners, you scum! We may have been hollow's, but we're better then any filthy human trash." The Hollow said with rage as he dodged the human's hand, but was enable to move away from the kick and got thrown into a wall.

"...you will pay for this..." The Hollow said filled with even more rage then before for letting himself get this injured by a human and a Null.

Then, an idea popped into his head. Maybe he could somehow slow the human down. It's worth a shot. "Tch!" The hollow then opened it's mouth and fired 50 needles towards The Human's leg would hopefully stun and paralyze him for two or three post.

After that, he swiftly ran up a building jumped in the air and went down for one hell of punched with his entire hand covered in black lightening, aiming directly for The Human's chest.

~Meanwhile in the rubble~

The Red and Black hollow's were utterly defeated. The Red One was already dead and floating in the water, and the black one was still desperately trying to cling to life even though 90% of his body was damaged. He was missing an arm as well along with deep gashes in his head.

"Grah......I can't believe....I'm dying....by a human and a Null...." Uttered the Black Hollow as he tried with all his remaining strength to push the rubble off of him. He also realized that his legs weren't responding, so he knew it was all for not. So he sighed, laid back down and stared at the rubble around him as the battle raged on outside.

"...kill those fuckers..." He muttered as he closed his eyes and felt their spiritual pressures clashing with one anyone.

"Give them hell..."

He pivoted on the sewer plate and kicked it up infront of him, blocking the claws, his sword also got up fast enough to block the kick. He then flew up to a building to see the hollow, noticing the hollows like jet turbine stomach. "interesting, interesting."

He noticed the barrier and the gas being emitted, he didnt like it. He sonido'ed infront of the hollow, coming at his face with multiple punches from one fist, then coming at his stomach with my black scimitar. Pulling a quick bala shot at him from my free hand now to see if he could move away from the shot before he got hit, or the speed he could move.
