☓ | Due to the fact that Blade asked he be skipped, I'm going to go ahead and make a conclusion for his character. Since we were splitting up, I'm going to assume that he otherwise went to a different portion of the island and otherwise became lost before disappearing in a vortex. If there is a problem with this, Blade knows how to reach me. I'll be getting my post up in a little while. |

The barrier shattered and Shatari was well on her way into the forest ahead of most of her comrades in arms. Her task? To get this job done as quickly as possible. There was a massive disturbance in the distance with each of the cores and she needed to hurry and attain each of these items while the Kora A'ina was weakened. With her spiritual perception, The Yuudeshi could outright sense the amount of negative energy in the area leaving to help assist with each of those major combative areas. Therefore, this was going to be their chance to strike if either of them could sense this presence in the air as well.
So her heart was beating, accelerating and coming to life with energy as she made her frantic dash through the woodland. Luckily for her, she had a few gadgets to help bridge the connection as she was in this to win it. Two separate holographic devices flew out of Shatari's skirt and towards the vicinity where they sensed both Cero and Hulderic's power. Once there, a hologram of The Vanguard Operative would emerge before them and keep in contact with them throughout their journey in this jangled mess of an island.
'Alright, look here. We haven't got match time to do this. The resources of the island are becoming drained because of some major fight in the core. This is going to be our time to seize the items here and blow this sorry piece of land to kingdom come.'
The voice of Shatari was as vibrant as ever as she talked with the utmost of excitement behind each words. The flare in her eyes never removing with every sentence that had finished. However, now wasn't the time to indulge too much in those fiery emotions. She started issuing mental commands to the device, as it was synchronized to her mind. After a few moments of processing, it then produced a screen of where all four gems were on the island.
The the Stone of Power was marked in red across this screen. This gem mentioned attributes which could only ones energy and power to sky-rocket and reach a new level of power. Therefore, this one seemed to be the most important and crucial. Then, after that, the second stone was marked blue in color and seemed to give off readings of mental prowess. Should one have taken that route? Then they'd surely find their mental capacities being enhanced after taking it.
After that, the third stone was marked green in color and made reference to the body. This would allow one to most definitely augment physical aspect of themselves in order to become more durable or faster than before. And, lastly, the forth stone was marked black in color and represented augmentations associated with unlocking new spiritual power. So this could undoubtedly unleash a new form, awaken a new power or bring their abilities to a whole another level.
All of them were equally important in the eyes of the Vanguard and Shatari had no desire to seek these gems for themselves. Rather, since other organizations were pining to take these gems, she wanted to grab them for the Vangaurd's research purposes and further bolster their goals. So, she would make these intentions rather clear to her allies in arms:
"As you fellows can see, we have a wide mess of gems scattered across this husk of land. I'll be taking down the green gem located in the east. You two can decide how you'll receive the others. The black gem is located in the north, the red gem is to the west and the blue gem is to your south. I'd suggest one of you use a long-range power to get this over with quickly and then blow this place to kingdom come."
And with that, the transmission ended and Shatari was well on her feet in getting closer to the location. Sure, there were a couple of bats, tigers and other wildlife fighting for the Kora A'ina; but The Yuudeshi easily blew them away with an electric shield she produced across her body. Once these creatures made contact with them, she unleashed heavy currents of electricity and fried them all to hell and back. They'd be reduced to nothing but fried flesh fit to be devoured and eaten for a summer barque.
Following a few more minutes of intense movement, a sweaty Shatari eventually found herself coming towards an opening in the woodland areas of this island and rushed towards a emerald sphere floating in the air. From what she could sense, it was most certainly the gem associated with bodily improvement and she needed to clench it before the defenses of the island awakened. As a result, with her nimble speed, the Yuudeshi snatched away this stone and stowed it away in her bra.
"Alright, I've got the gem secured. I'm sure you boys can keep up with my pace and get the other, right? It shouldn't be too difficult."
However, even as she spoke so boldly, that dread just wouldn't leave her. So, to take her mind off of it, The Vanguard operative sent her report in to the organization and she left a digital status update. In it, she stated that she otherwise secured The Stone of Self-Augmentation and was working on obtaining the other four. If she could just pull this mission off, maybe she could prove her worth and assemble the needed weapons to take the Vangaurd's defenses to a whole another level.
Therefore, with this goal burning in her mind, she sucked her teeth and then took off towards the next location. There wasn't a single second to waste! Henceforth, in her flight, the girl pulled out the stone once again and opened a small vortex before her. This black void was produced by a portal wormhole device capable of transporting small items between dimensions. Since they were in the same world, it wasn't too difficult for her to drop the stone in the gateway and leave it in the hands of the Vanguard to further study and analyze it.
"One one. Three more to go."
Muttering that to herself, Shatari gunned it towards the north and sought out the black gem next.
