Well, I figured I'd start doing reviews again. This time around? I'm gonna be just focusing on maintaining a steady and constant pace throughout the Weeklong burst. I have a lot to manage, but I feel I just need to step up as Head Admin.

With that said, I feel this post helped a bit to focus that direction. Kazuya, a major threat to the Soul Society, has entered the Seireitei and has declared war against the Gotei 13. It is at a point where the very foundations of the Thriteen Court squads may very well cease to exist if something isn't done.

Therefore, in light of all this, Ibiki decided to make her stance; as the response from all other Captains were non-existent. Not relying on allies or the such, she commanded that all her men stand down and allow her to handle the problem alone. This is because she was not going to drag them into a fight they couldn't win.

Thus, having all of this on her shoulders, Ibiki decided to use it as motivation to fight as hard as she could. Digging back into her roots, she even left the title as Ibiki Suika, Kenpachi or a Captain; and adopted her clans root as Devil Shinigami by adorning a traditional Japanese Oni Mask as she greeted Kazuya.

Viewing herself as one of the last things keeping the walls of the Seireitei from falling and the Gotei 13 from disbanding, Ibiki feels that she cannot afford to lose this fight and she certainly can't die. Thus, it is with a heavy heart that she combats this threat and hopes she can overcome it for the sake of her vision.

«2ND Post Of The Challenge DONE»

I'm glad that I was able to get out a second post within that 24 hour period. As, to me, I feel this was a pretty solid post. The reason I say that is because I set a decent enough plot for both Cirno and Kazumi to role play with.

Seeing how Kazumi ended up getting lost in a section of town that is known for it's roughness, I devised an NPC gang known as "The Xenociders" to cause a bit of mayhem two city blocks down from where Kazumi was. Gaining a reputation for their violence, evasion tactics and strength; they were tasked with robbing a liquor store and not many dared to mess with these guys.

All of them were dressed in black from head to toe, meant business and they took everything off the shelves. However, one of the NPC children in the store tried calling for back up -- and that set off the leader of the gang to destroy the store with a massive energy blast. Once they fled to their get-away vehicle, this attracted the attention of Cirno Iramasha; who just saw everything take place.

While this is going on, Kazumi would undoubtedly feel the rumble in the streets, see the smoke rising and know that something troublesome was coming her way. As, by that time, Cirno would have descended from the sky and destroyed their armored vechile; causing another explosion one block away. This would attract her attention, give her something to work with and witness the short-lived battle Cirno engaged in with the Xenocider.

With that said, to even things out, I had the Xenocider leader escape from Cirno grasp after briefly overpowering her and slamming her into a vehicle. In that period of time, he ran down the road as Cirno called for Iramasha back up to help save innocents from the burning building that the Xenociders blew up. In this time, he attempted to hold Kazumi as a hostage and there were many routes for her to choose based on the actions he made.

This puts Cirno in a tough spot, Kazumi in a tough spot and the thread should have some action and an objective to overcome as this whole situation gets intense. The other fugitives managed to get subdued, but there is a chance that more Xenociders could arrive as their leader is in such a dangerous position.

So it'll be interesting how Kazumi and Cirno copes with all this.
