Woefully Lost [Open]
Fri Mar 06, 2015 12:34 am
She may had lived in Karakura Central her entire life, but Kazumi couldn’t say she knew the city like the back of her hand. The city was rather large to say the least, and though she had an excellent memory, it didn’t do her any good if she didn’t bother to learn the various locations that made up Karakura. Even if she did know the layout of the entire city, which she didn’t and would be impossible due to hidden crevices that may be littered throughout Karakura, she still would had ended up lost in what appeared to be the less advanced portion of the city. She didn’t exactly know how or why she had ran to the outskirts of the city, seeing that the place was not only dangerous but she was forbidden from going there, but she wouldn’t waste time musing about it either. All she needed to know that she had been so caught up on whatever had been blearing through her headphones that she hadn’t noticed the route she was taking on her daily run and had thus ended up somewhere she wouldn’t had been if she had been paying attention.
She glanced down at her music device, pressing pause before stuffing it into her shirt along with her headphones, putting it in her pockets wasn’t an option since she was wearing the athletic uniform issued by her school, which consisted of black bloomers and a simple white t-shirt with the school emblem embroidered on the right sleeve of the shirt. With her distraction gone, at least for now, Kazumi glanced around the place, attempting to get a general idea of what part of the outskirts she had absentmindedly jogged into and with appearance of the area, she had a bad feeling she had ended up in the very bad part of town. The Slums of the former Karakura was rumored to be a place riddled with crime and it was not the sort of place she should be. Not only because of the crime rate, but also because she had no means of defending herself. Sure she could run, but that could be a huge problem if she managed to get herself even more lost. She didn’t know the streets at all, a huge disadvantage.
Kazumi bite her lower lip, fidgeting as she glanced around once again before beginning to walk. She needed to look like she belonged there and standing around looking like a complete idiot certainly wouldn’t convince people. No, walking as if she knew where she was going did, and hopefully acting like she was use to this area would decrease the chances of people preying on her. But that could only last for so long and she knew it. She could only pray that some soul that didn’t desire to do her harm would realize that she was lost and give her directions back to the city. But, she could only hope.

Big, huge, wide and ever-expanding; these words that described the metropolis of Karakura City. The city had everything you needed: sex, drugs, love, money, action and anything else you could shake a stick out and THEN some. Yes indeed, this was a wicked live city and one of the most spiritually active on the planet. It set the trends, it made the news and its people were RIGHT out of this world.
And as the thaw of spring warmed through the slick back ways of the city's slums, the criminals found it all but a fun thing to come out and play. Mhm, that was it, this weather brought out the most vile of intentions in people. For without the snow to keep the thugs at bay, there was not a single thing stopping these supernaturally charged freaks from running amok in the streets!
Which is why, from two city blocks none too far away from the blonde vixen, the sounds of a robbery were taking place. Smashing forth into a dust ridden liquor store, a group of armed criminals that were apart of an underground circuit of gangs called "Xenocide X"stormed in. Armed with the utmost of vicious intents, the band of crooks were all but for the benefit of robbing this place blind.
Hence, the leader of the Xenocider's barged in first. Covered in all black clothing, his thick combat boots broke the doors off the hedges and dirt spatted on to his crisp, charcoal shaded jeans that were skin tight to the hip. On the back of his military-styled jacket? A lone red X was all that the citizens behind him and his gang could see. Yet, many who lived in the Outskirts of Karakura Town knew to fear these individuals with this attire on.
This gang was known for their tendency to get violent when others opposed them and their nimble speed made it difficult for law enforcement to ever catch them. So, those whom called these slums home learned to fear them; lest they invoke the wrath of these brutes.
For this reason was why the leader stood with a calm air of control in the store. As the wind of the outside breeze blew into the shop, his long and wavy black hair rushed against the current and he let out a satisfying chuckle. With a snap of his fingers, his goons ransacked the place and one of them started utilizing low-level telekinetic powers in order to levitate cash, liquor, food and anything worth of monetary value.
However, not a single soul dared fight back. There were nothing but the elderly and young children in the store. And, with all of them being powerless, they held their hands in the air or outright sprawled themselves on the floor to make themselves surrender to this band of mobsters.
Once the loot was secured, the henchmen were then given orders to run out to the front. It is there where an armored black hover vehicle that resembled a van pulled up. All three of them rushed into the back and loaded all of the goodies inside. Meanwhile, and in between time, the leader and his goons made sure to cover their faces with black bandannas and sunglasses to further bypass the facial recognition systems of Karakura Central.
Unfortunately, one of the frightened children made the mistake of attempting to call for back-up while in the eye-sight of The Leader. With an angered grunt, The Xenocider Head held out his right palm and let out these cold words:
"Didn't your mother ever tell you not to play so carelessly with your toys? Here, let me teach you why."
"PLEASE NO--"
In that quick succession of exchanged words, The Thug unleashed a powerful burst of white energy that annihilated the store. Standing from the entrance door, The Leader made sure that he and his goons were safe from the blast range. As, right before their very eyes, the store became engulfed in a brilliant silver light. Fire spread all throughout the business, windows were blown out, glass was sent scattering for numerous city blocks and part of the building started to give way.
Due to all of these calamitous effects, there were multiple injuries in the store, but due to a freak miracle many of the innocents inside the store were still alive. There were tons of cuts, burns, crushed bones and injuries of that nature inflicted upon them; yet they were sill cling to life. In spite of that, though, they may not be around much longer to tell the tale if no assistance saved them from the raging inferno that was spreading all throughout the store.
So, as fire and ash rose into the sky, the band of thugs took it as their scene to book it. All they would leave in the wake was their infamous "X" logo scene at the doorstep and then their vehicle started speeding away. The operation was a success and their reputation was enforced -- or so they thought, anyway.

But, from down the street where teenage blonde walked, a blue streak of light fell from a skyscraper nearby and hit the van; causing it to turn over and eject all of the thugs out on the street with a hard thud. They were startled, confused and oh so quick to turn angry.
For, out of that burst of brilliant light, a childish figure emerged and gave a feminine laugh to mark her arrival on to the scene. Gawking upwards at this spectacle, The Leader of the group found himself being trifled with by a mere kid with ocean colored hair and a white dress. As those sapphire eyes of hers stared down the raven hued spheres of The Xenocider's Head Man, they all stood and prepared to get real violent with the brat.
"Aye, baka's, stop right there in the name of the law!"
Those were the first cheery words that were echoed out of the icy fairy's mouth. Putting her hands on her hips, the new challenger tightened a blue and white striped cloth belt around her waist and grinned with the utmost of confidence.
"The name is Cirno Iramasha, Elite Iramasha Guardian and Angel of The Ice. You triple baka's are under arrest for all the destruction you all just caused! Prepare to pay!"
With those cocky words uttered, the self-proclaimed Angel put up each of her fist, spread her legs out in an even stance and popped a jovial smirk. For her? It was almost as if she was doing another walk on the beach. While to the Xenociders? They were out for blood.
Thus, when the three sets of icicle shaped wings popped out from behind the girl? THE BATTLE COMMENCED!
Explosions started ringing out and shaking the grounds like an earthquake. Red lights, blue lights and white lights all danced and intermingled across the battlefield down from the high school vixen. These powerful forces of energy clashed against each other with the utmost of force.
Within them? A fierce scarp was being waged. But, it seemed that the tide was turning rather quickly. With a few hard kicks from her sandals? The Ice Fairy seemed to be gaining the upper-hand on the weaker henchmen with swift kicks to their throats, faces and jaws. In one-foul swoop, when the lights faded, the three other grunts were seen being flung back into small, human-sized carters in the street and presumably fainted from the impact.
On the other hand, The Xenocider leader took a few hard punches to the gut and face, but he seemed to fly away from the scene and emerged before Kazumi with the utmost of speed. In order to keep the distance from Cirno, The Head Thug in charge of this operation fired off a dense burst of energy at her that sent the fairy flying into an abandoned car nearby. While there were a few scrapes and bruises, the ice girl wasn't too beat up as her body was quite durable, but she was more concerned for the developments occurring.
Attempting to grab Kazumi and hold her in a headlock, The Xenocider Leader was hellbent on getting out of this and getting his boys safe. So, while Cirno could deduce that she was stronger than the male when it came to raw energy, the desperate fugitive seemed to resort to taking a hostage in order to weasel his way out of being apprehended.
So, to prevent this situation from getting further out of hand, The Fairy Iramasha seemed to contain the other males in ice domed prisons. Further shielded by her own energy, an additional sphere of silver light consumed the frozen containment fields and was meant to secure the scene.
Glancing back at the fires from the store these goons robbed, The Iramasha could also sense faint signatures of life energy in the business. Therefore, there was also that worrying thought in back of her head. And, in response to that, she telepathically called for other Iramasha Guard members in the city to come rushing to the area in order to help the civilians get out of there alive; while she herself would deal with this lone criminal.
Therefore, as Cirno got into a battle stance, the sight of numerous men and women in cloaks was seen down the road rushing into the store to save any civilians they could from the burning blaze. Sirens could be heard in the distance and the circumstance that this thug was in was all but becoming unveiled to him. There was fear beating in his heart, but he wasn't going down like this if he could help it.
"Man, oh man, where the hell you brats mothers? Fuck it, I'll use this hot this bitch for my meal ticket out of here. Get any closer and I'll blow her fucking head off before you can get close."
Sounding gruff, yet shaken up; the male decided to call up his threat by conjuring up a crimson shield of light wherever the head of Kazuma would be at this time; regardless of if she escaped his grasp or not. If she attempted to escaped? He'd aim to outright blow her to smithereens. If she stayed in his grasp? Then he'd hold off on making such brash actions. Either way, he needed her and it was his only way to keep from being decimated by this superpowered freak of a child.
Glancing at the highschooler, Cirno motioned her head towards her and got into a battle stance:
"Aye, baka, relax. You don't have to do that. She has nothing to do with this fight."
If Kazuma could pick up on her body language, Cirno did intend to make a move, but she wanted to make sure that the human was ready for such a thing before making her move. Therefore, the ball was in her court and this crazy day in the slums was about to get a lot more tense. Who would come out on top, The Ice Fairy and The Highschooler, or The Xenociders vicious gang? Only time could tell such a thing.
