Operation Rampages Breaking
Mon Mar 09, 2015 1:11 pm
How many moons had it been since the battle last happened, he stood in a place none thought to look. This portion of the area was a battlefield that was once seen by he and the Head Captain. His hand came up as he looked at the final seal, this seal of the dragons. It was fed so well, how many battles had gone by during his imprisonment. Leaving this thing to nourish off the chaos and blood lust of it all. His eyes scanned the ground looking at it with an empty gaze. His world ended a while ago, those dogs dared to cross him and expect the scene to go by differently. His eyes watched the scene before him, it was as though time reversed for a moment. The world moved backwards as the scene before him stood Yamamoto and he. He remembered it all so clearly, Yamamoto asked him a single question. Which he'd taken all this time to think about it all. He took his time to gauge and come to find his reason for it all. "Do you regret this road?" Were the only words Yamamoto asked, he was angry and empty at the time for a response. Kazuya's emerald gaze found it's way over the area would destruction be wrought? Would he take the long waited revenge that had been so long gone? Kazuya's eyes stared into the abyss of it all, was this the road he longed for? Unlike most of those within the hell which were easily manipulated. Kazuya wasn't a fly like that, he'd had time to cool his mind and anger. Now it was a matter of pride and finishing what he started. The Gotei 13 had taken a toll from him which was unfair, he'd left the chess pieces in place. He'd set the seeds of destruction into the people released from Under First, those who held hate and anger hide it. Kazuya made sure that everything was in place. Jaeden's fall into the pits of hell, his despair everything was settled. The seeds of content were rooted deep, was destruction the cure for this poison that the Gotei 13 had become? They'd lost their course, maybe the greatest evil he could commit would be to allow them to destroy themselves?
Kazuya's eyes fixated on the view from here the place was dangerous and deadly within the patterns of hell. This was that battlefield, the very place never healed from those flames. That heat that burned this place would never heal, it was wounded into the fabric of the realm itself. He walked through the ashen field, many people didn't know his story to well. That he was betrayed by those he considered family, he ran a hand along the burned building it's charred remains barely standing. This was a memory, this place was the downfall of it all the poison began here. Sweeping things quietly under the rug so nobody would know, his eyes closed somewhat. He was the embodiment of what it meant to be a Captain so long ago, he was kind and generous. But that was a trait that cost him dearly, he adjust the prison close he wore. They were comfortable to say the least, kind of a reminder what he'd been through before it all began. Stopping the spell would mean the destruction of the realm would end but what else could come. The destruction would cause the explosion to go off, the spell's safety was that even when stopped another attack happened. How many battles had happened here, each seal was in a different location. Kazuya couldn't even measure it all anymore, the battles here were too many. His with Yamamoto was meant for fuel he never imagined being captured. Thankfully it appeared his mentor didn't notice the spell so it had worked out. Kazuya ran his hand along the spell and waited for a moment. It was a lot to think about, activating this spell would mean holy fire upon the Gotei 13. This spell alone could destroy the entire realm, but it's focus was around the Gotei 13 itself. Though those Rukongai districts would pay as well, he was certain the distractions would of gotten most out. The stubborn and old may of remained, he could do nothing about them. His hand touched his heart gently, how much more blood would he need to bear on his heart? Kazuya hated that it came to this but no choice was open to him.
The poison had spread in deep, the demons were now here in this place. He could sense their energy almost like a taint on the land. Opening the Gate of Hell here, such a bold move. Well he was about to open a gate all it's open, something that was quite powerful. It would feed on the realms reiatsu and the very essence of Hell's fury that was summoned here. This was the time to strike, but still Kazuya hesitated about it. Yamamoto was someone important to him, this was his dream wasn't it? Was it right for him to destroy the one person who tried to help him? Was it alright for him to destroy the Gotei 13 for anger and the poison within. He seemed confident and powerful, but he'd had time to ponder much in his isolation. Yamamoto died and this left something in him wondering, hesitation was a killer for most people. Kazuya's damned himself for putting the seal here and being so cocky to fight Yamamoto here. But what's more was he allowed that man to sway his heart at the very end. Normally a prison would of been executed, but Kazuya was spared what was the meaning of it? Yamamoto was sorry this had happened and knew about it. But he could do nothing about it, he simply accepted it and went along with it? The question remained unanswered could he justly destroy this place and leave it in ruin? The Zero Division was leaving he could detect presences abandoning this place. Kazuya suspected that even their leader was uncertain on something, what law did this place follow. Kazuya sighed and raised himself up and walked away to the center of this scene. Burned ground and buildings stood here, withstanding time it's fury as well as Yamamoto's flame. This was a true statement of the places value to his mentor, his eyes closed for a moment. He'd made a choice now, this was not Yamamoto's dream any longer. This was a poisoned and forgotten place that lost it's way Kazuya wouldn't allow this go any further. He sighed softly as he spoke the activation now. " Dragons Rend and Dragons soar, Demons Dream and Demons Awaken, Bring about ruin and despair beneath Heaven and over Hell...Seven Dragons Sealing, activation code Exodus!"
No more thinking or turning back the power and spell was activated now, it all became clear. The lines around the Gotei 13 and some portions of the Rukongai. The place to disrupt and stop the spell was where he stood, it was a matter of time before people came. He got to his knee's his feather like hair blowing in the breeze created by this spells activation. Tornado's and Earthquakes began to consume the place as the realm itself shook around the Gotei 13. What warrior would come first, he'd fight to the bitter end regardless. Kazuya would cause as much destruction of the realm as he could, poison couldn't be taken from a wound without a price. The price needing paid was in blood and destruction, this poison would be destroyed. The happy accident of the area being within the circle belonging to the demons was simply fortune perhaps. Kazuya wondered who would arrive here first, he'd finally revealed his energy. The massive power of a being from the First generation. Kazuya could only wonder how the future would be when this poison was removed. Before creation comes Destruction, that was the basic law of the universe. Before anything can be created or rebuilt anew the old must be destroyed. His eyes closed as he calmly waited and let his nerves relax a bit. Such choices weren't things man was ever meant to make, Kazuya could only sigh and let the time move on.

Artist: DMBN - Song: 為の萃香八番~孤独 - Word Count: 1675
These lands -- they were barren. Not many stood to rise a fight, nor did many yell to give a fright. It was dark, isolated and open to destruction. Many of the finest from the Seireitei were falling one after another and everyone thought that they were defeated, lost and nothing more than a relic of the past. Even their almighty gods had turned their back on this once noble people with the Zero Division forsaking these plains.
Yet, even with all of this dismay, there was one who refused to fall down to that abyss of darkness, despair and defeat. Who was this person, no, shinigami? It was The Lone Fist of the Zaraki Division: Ibiki Suika. Yes, the one whom called herself The Devil Shinigami stepped up from the barracks of this now quiet organization.
As all other captains were no where to be found, their commander could not be sensed and the Iramasha from above weren't coming anytime soon. Therefore, without even asking for a single hand from the earthlings, one of the strongest remaining forces that the Seireitei had leaped into action. Standing at five foot one and ninety five pounds, the frame of of The Menacing Girl was not imposing in the slightest. But, the looming tensity of energy within her body gave off the gravity of something more fierce inside the girl and brought a dense sensation in the lands.
With a clap of thunder, the skies darkened and the rains started whipping in and out as if a wicked hurricane rocked the seireitei. And so, as if being a beckon of light in the shadows, the indigo hue of The Zaraki's reiatsu lit up her body like a flame and spread for many hundreds of feet around in its radiant flare. This brilliance illuminated the features of the Oni Maiden's body. Eyes filled with vivid purple hues, hair ginger in shade and horns as strong as oak; these three characteristics were defining traits that stood out in the shinigami's physical appearance.
Through the cracking of The Zarkai's clawed fist, the ashen handcuffs around her wrist echoed the sounds of chains shackling. Soon after, an intense air of power rushed upwards and the attachments of The Oni Maiden's garments raised towards the sky as well. Connected at the hip were a numerous series of chains attached to the irons on her hands, the bottoms of The Captain's blackened and indigo shaded gown and they all attached themselves to the figments of The Menacing Devil girl's Zanpukto.
These fragments of her spirit consisted of a onyx colored cube, a lavender triangle and a plum and ebony dyed sphere. While, on the waist, a plum hued gourd with many white taped seals was seen. With a quick motion from her hand, the Oni Shinigami took a sip from its alcoholic contents and gave a soft sigh before placing it back at her right side.
If things were as dire as her realistic mind dimmed -- that might've been the last drank she ever drank. Then again, she could only give a grim chuckle at that thought. Even if they weren't of this magnitude, every fight against the enemy had the chance becoming her last. So perhaps, she was being over sentimental at this thought, but if that reality came true -- who would hold up the Soul Society in her place? After all, The Soul King had long since deemed them forsaken people. And that thought -- scared her.
The booze could only help coup so much, but it was needed as a crutch to deal with the enormous task she was given. Tugging at the rigid chained collar at her neck, The Menacing Devil Girl shook her head and prepared herself mentally for what was to come. Feeling the frigid wind nip at her bare toes, The Zaraki stared down at her damp sandals and thought hard about how she was going to overcome this mission by herself.
Nothing -- came to mind. There was just blackness, a heavy sense of emptiness and booming static to be heard and seen within herself. Well enough. That was well enough. It wasn't that the woman lost her sense of will, far from it. No. It was well enough because this vision matched how dead the world around her was becoming. Despite constant efforts to improve this society, it seemed that these endeavors were just producing temporal recoveries.
That image -- that image of burring so many of her own sent pangs of hurt within her heart. It wasn't right, was it? That's what her conscious said on that day of burying Wolf Lionus. And reflecting on how the radical change of the Soul Society had progressively taken place? What was this -- all turning towards? To what end were these efforts leading them to by those who held power in this realm? She could not answer that, and maybe, maybe, maybe that was the reason that their god had forsaken them and left them to defend themselves.
Yet, even as her own determination was diminished, it was not obliterated. After all, the conservation of energy says that energy cannot be destroyed, right? As to was the willpower within Ibiki. It may have been dimmed, but that urge to fight, no matter how small it was, still existed. And that string of fire was all that was needed to carry on the torch of those that have came before her.
The dream of bringing such goodwill to the Soul Society was a foggy one now, but it still was there -- no matter how distant it was. So, there was no time to mull in the sorrow. Hovering towards the heavens, and bringing the strength from within, the fight to save her home -- was on. Thus, seeing how this was a battle that only a juggernaut like herself could cope with, The Zaraki went towards Kazuya -- alone.
[CHANGE THE TRACK HERE]
After pin-pointing the location where she sensed that massive source of energy, Ibiki could determine that the aura of power generating from Kazuya was indeed the one inducing these catastrophic effects to the Soul Society. Therefore -- he was the foe she must fight to change this. Henceforth, she descended from the atmosphere after her short flight and sized the male up.
Emerging only ten feet away from the male, the expression across the Captain's face was all but void. Eyes as cold as ice, footsteps as quiet as a gentle breeze and stare as vacant as a land; the usual jovial nature of the Horned Shinigami was not to be found on this day. For as dire as the circumstances were to her home, there was no room for joking around on this day. What she needed to be -- was a Devil.
Thus, in a dry and tired voice, Ibiki uttered these words to greet The Breaker of Worlds:
"Welcome to the home of the Gotei 13."
Even in this life or death battle, the likes of this Shinigami would not sucker punch or pull any foul moves upon the opening of their clash. No. She wanted the male to see her for all that she was in this instant before that came. If he attacked before then? The reflexes that the Zaraki possessed could more than ready to deal with it.
So, she'd continue on:
"While we may be open to visitors from time to time, what you are doing there is fairly dangerous, you know."
Materializing from nowhere, the pulsation of weak kido being activated in the atmosphere around them. In moments, a reddened oni mask appeared in the palms of Ibiki's hand and she pierced her plum stare back into the eyes of her foe.
"So, unfortunately, because of that you won't be greeted by neither The Zaraki Corps or Ibiki Suika today. Instead..."
In one slow motion, the dawning of the mask had been completed and the eyes behind them became devoured in golden light.
"...This Oni Shinigami will be your opponent."
In those raspy and dark words, the battle was meant to commence.
There was nothing but an explosion of energy that washed over the Seireitei that was meant to combat the destructive effects of the kido infecting it. Through the desire manipulation of Ibiki's very reishi, her willpower was meant to turn into a materialized force in order to do their damndest at attempting to reverse the effects that this fiend had infected their home with.
Shades of purple hued lightning danced in the skies, the heavens brightened and the fierce winds gusted around them as the The Devil Shinigami rushed at Kazuya. In one potent punch, she aimed to nail the male directly in the face with a heavy handed punch. Cocking her fist back, this summoned kinetic energy had enough impact to tear through mountains like a knife through butter.
So, as soon as she guided her right fist for his face, more power crushing jabs came from her left fist towards his gut. Keeping her feet nimble and strong, it started on and on like a bullet train from hell. Volleys upon volleys of strikes were directed at his throat, chest, ribs and stomach before she resorted to using a swift uppercut with the intentions of sending him flying like a rag-doll towards the sky.
"If you are going to try and take the Devil from the mountain, you'll have to kill that Devil before you can lay claim to it."
And with those ominous words, the stage had been set and Ibiki kept her guard up and awaited to see what this Destroyer of Worlds could do. This was the first round of their bout for the fate of the Soul Society and The Devil Shinigami was coming out the gate with her infamous hand-to-hand and bountiful spiritual power. Who would come out on top could be anyone's guess at this point.
But if Ibiki had the last say She'd protect this land to her very last breath.
