Attack of the Overconfident, angry girl [jj]
Wed Nov 27, 2013 8:41 am
Blonde hair flowed behind the woman as she walked through the seireitei. Her green eyes betrayed the frustration and anger that were brewing within her. Today she was wearing the usual shinigami outfit unlike what one would normally see her in. Still, she had not let everything change, the red silk scarf was still on her neck, her twin sword sitting opposite each other on her hips.
“Damn it, damn it, damn it! Why do I have to wear these ugly things? I hate them, they are so disgusting looking! Grr…”
Her little outburst gave those around her an understand of her anger as she strode past. Jessy Nessa never wore the shihaksho that was normal for shinigami unless she absolutely had to. After a few more minutes Jessy looked up, seeing that she had arrived in front of the fifth squad barracks. Grinning slightly, her frustration taking clouding her judgement, Jessy drew one of her blade and swung it in an arc in front of her. A blast of pressurized air shot towards the squad five barracks as jessy drew her other blade, repeating the same thing with her other blade in order to let for another blast towards the barracks. Grinning slightly as she watched the blasts slam in to the barracks, the windows shattering from the force of the wind slamming in to the building, the walls cracking slightly. Taking a deep breath Jessy let out a shout towards the building.
“Captain Iriko of the fifth division, come out and fight me! If you refuse I will destroy everything within this area! Come on, I’ve been really needing this for a while, fucking fight me!”
With that said Jessy would concentrate on her senses, waiting for any signs of her opponent.

Jessy’s eyes widened as she saw the kido hurtling towards her, her body reacting instinctively. Tucking her head down, she threw herself downward and slightly forward, going in to a tumble before springing up. Unfortunately, she had not managed to completely dodge the kido, wincing softly as she reached up and gripped her bleeding shoulder lightly. Her breathing was definitely heavy, blooding running freely from the wound on her shoulder where the kido had injured her. She saw her throw the sphere of energy towards her, a grim but determined look on her face as it hurtled towards the ground. Not yet having recovered from her previous injury, the attack took her off guard, a gasp escaping Jessy’s mouth as she hurtled in to the air. Looking down at the ground below her, her face clearly showing the pain she was in, surprise took over for a brief second as he appeared directly beneath her. However, it was quickly wiped away, her face returning to that determined look as the show caught her in the stomach, pushing her further in to the sky. By now though, Jessy had made up her mind. This guy was making her out to be some sort of weakling, and she hated that. More importantly, his attitude was pissing her off, and she had already been in a bad mood as it was. No backing off, no holding back, now she would use whatever method she needed to deal with the man before her. Concentrating, her mind now made up, Jessy began to focus on what she was about to do. She was simply an unseated member of squad six, this should surprise the man slightly. After all, she had been hiding it as well as she could, but now she no longer cared. Opening her lips as the bubbles gathered around her, she spoke one word, anger and determination filling her voice. “Bankai.” With the single word she spoke, she unleashed her bankai state, one thing the man would probably not think she would have obtained. As the blue sphere surrounded the ten kilometer radius, trees suddenly began spring up within the whole area of the dome. Growing suddenly and insanely quickly, they would push themselves through buildings, not caring what was in their way as they grew, the forest around them taking shape. The trees in the area within a kilometer of Jessy were not growing as closely together as the other ones, allowing their fight to continue. As for Jessy, her twin swords had disappeared, but the air around her seemed to be pouring in to her wounds, healing her completely. As the bubbles became blades, she just smiled and entered her elemental form. Nobody else would probably notice at this point because she looked exactly the same as before, but her body was now made entirely of air. The blades came towards her, but Jessy ignored them, instead sending a large blast of wind at the man she was fighting, attempting to throw him away from her with the pure force of her wind manipulation. The blades simply passed through her, unable to cut the air that made up her new body. When he sent another set of weaponry after her, Jessy once again ignored them, letting them pass through her new body as she sent a slicing blade of wind towards her opponent in an attempt to slice him in to pieces with it. When she noticed the huge bubble he had created, she stopped, looking warily at the thing. It did not seem like something he would make in to a weapon, so for now she would watch what he planned to do. She saw the waves of energy shoot in to the bubbles surrounding her before going towards her body, a look of pure terror on her face. A scream of intense pain left her lips as the energy slammed in to her from all sides. While she might be near invulnerable to physical attacks in this form of hers, she was particularly effected by energy based attacks like the one that had just hit her. When it cleared, one could see the extensive injuries upon Jessy’s body. Both her arms and her left leg had been completely obliterated, and there was definitely a lot of damage done to her upper body. She was healing slowly, thanks to the wind around her, but for now she couldn’t do more then take deep breaths and focus on healing herself. If she passed out, it was all over, and she knew that. She would keep herself going as long as possible, but she didn’t know how long she would have if her injuries were not healed quickly. |

Jessy was not expecting what had happened when she released her bankai, eyes widening at what she saw. Her bankai had somehow been prevented from taking effect on the land. She didn’t understand it, how could he have stopped her bankai? She noticed he stopped her wind manipulation with a kido of some sort, a frown on her face. Was he a kido based individual, one who fought mostly with the power of kido? If so, this was bad, Jessy’s elemental form was pretty much immune to physical attacks, but it was fairly vulnerable to kido and other spiritual attacks. She squinted as the rain around them became a downpour, worried about what might happen next. However, when her opponent unleashed bankai, Jessy’s eyes widened in terror, looking on as the rainbow appeared and the man slammed in to Jessy. Luckily for her, he slid right through, her wind based body just shifting around him as he passed. Suddenly though, bubbles of slime started to appear on his chest, growing to encase the two of them. She noticed the lack of moving air in the bubble, a fearful look on her face as she did. It would be more difficult to heal if the air was completely still, and even more difficult as the air in the bubble had a fairly large amount of water vapor mixed in to it. The man then created more bubbles from the slim dripping around the one they were in currently, using them to destroy the trees of her bankai, a glare on her face. Outside of the bubble was a sphere of flames and destruction, inside there was the danger of this man and lots of water. Wait, lots of water? Why hadn’t she thought of that before? Listening to the man speak, a small smirk formed on Jessy’s lips. Once he finished, laughter burst forth from the blonde, grinning as she looked up at him despite the fact that he had removed her final leg just seconds before. “Do work for your squad? How am I supposed to work with no hands and no feet?? Besides, I don’t like the way things went here, I kinda want to try something else out. It should be really fun, you might like the kid. Why don’t you show him what you’re capable of, Namor.” As she said the last word, Jessy disappeared, her body pulled in to the alternate dimension where her friends waited. In her place before Iriko was Namor, a young boy with short white hair and pale skin. Sighing softly, he smiled at Iriko in a friendly manner before speaking. “Well, I certainly didn’t expect her to do this sort of thing, but oh well. Fickle as the wind she is, some things never change do they… Unfortunately, this means I have to fight you, though I don’t exactly enjoy this sort of thing. Anyways… freeze.” As the male finished speaking, something incredibly strange would seem to happen. Every bit of water within the bubble, rain, water vapor, whatever it may be, suddenly would drop in temperature to negative ten degrees Celsius. As it did, water surrounded Namor’s body before freezing over before his body became absorbed in to the ice. Namor was the elemental of water after all, and now he was attempting to freeze every bit of water within the bubble in an attempt to encase Iriko in a frozen tomb within the man’s own ability. |

Namor’s eyes widened as his control over water was overwhelmed, the water vapor once again heating up. However, his body was now warming up too, the ice slowly melting in to water. However, there was no body beneath, no skin to be melted. Instead, the boy’s body was entirely made of water, nothing more. The water retained the boy’s shape, though it was obviously more difficult for him to move now that his body was no longer a solid. He grinned sheepishly as the man spoke, scratching at the back of his head as he watched the bubble that lay before him. When the electricity surged outwards from the bubble, Namor didn’t flinch, didn’t react at all. The electricity hit him, and he did not scream in pain as Iriko would probably have thought he would. The electricity seemed to dissipate as it touched Namor, none of its electrical prowess harming him. He allowed the ice to cover his body, not caring about it. In time he would rid it from his body if necessary, but as he saw the man raise his finger, he figured it would not be needed. Sighing softly, he began to chant as the kido headed towards him, not worrying about it at all. “Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws. Hadō #33, Sōkatsui!” Not releasing his kido yet, he braced himself within the ice entrapment, waiting for the kido to hit. When it did, the ice would shatter, and then it would crash in to Namor. However, when it did it just stopped, as if something was eating away at it as it came in to contact with her body. Standing against the force of the kido, eventually his body would reach the limits of what it could absorb from a single kido. At this point though, the kido was significantly reduced and only blew off a thin layer of his chest. With the opposing kido gone, he fired his own off, not knowing whether it would even be able to effect the stronger man. Sighing softly, Namor then began to slowly draw water in to his body to heal his chest, undoing all the damage the kido had done. Smirking, he spoke to the man before him, hoping the man would take him seriously. “But I am not dead yet mister, Jessy won’t come until you have defeated me. Sorry sir, I want this over as much as you do, but I gotta do what Jessy wants. Well, she wants me to fight, but she never forbade me from giving you tips, so hopefully you’ll listen up. You gotta use physical attacks against me, don’t use kido. Like Jessy, my elemental form is almost immune to one type of attack, while vulnerable to the other type. With Jessy, physical attacks will do almost nothing to her, but kido is her downfall. I’m the opposite, strong against kido but weak against physical attacks. If I had been in my frozen form, that kido would have done zilch to me, and here you only got a small layer of my chest. Besides, Jessy isn’t that experienced when it comes to her bankai, she’ll probably lose her grip on it sometime soon.” As he was speaking, his arm was regenerating and his body was slowly freezing. Lowering his body temperature was doable, despite Iriko’s control of water. This was his body after all, it would be more difficult for Iriko to control it then it would be for him to. Once he was completely frozen, he would rush forward, flash stepping in front of Iriko as his club like frozen fist launched forward, aimed at the man’s face. |

Namor just smiled as his fist slammed in to the blade, the icy fist of the male shattering before the man pushed the blade right through his arm, destroying it entirely. Wincing in pain, the boy stumbled back as slashes appeared on his body, the young water elemental unable to follow the speed at which the shinigami captain was moving. He held his voice back, unwilling to show how much this truly pained him, but then the bubble surrounded him and spikes stabbed in to him. A scream of pain was rent from Namor’s lips as he fell to his knees, gasping for breath. He could feel the immense pain with each strike from Iriko, his body only held together by the bubble man. However, he grinned as the man spoke, unable to hold back at the hilarity of what he was saying. “Heh… you think you really make the decisions about when I am defeated? Jessy… isn’t the type to listen to others. She doesn’t care… what you think. Besides… I can force this… I can’t stand the pain anymore. It was a pleasure… meeting you… take care.” With that Namor let out a soft breath, his icy body shimmering as it turned to flesh. No longer an elemental, the injuries he had suffered were too severe upon his body. His eyes slowly closed, the life breathed in to his form by Jessy’s bankai was now leaving him. He had made his decision, he knew he would come back with her next bankai release anyways, and so he had decided to let himself die. His form faded as a shout rent the air, anger and sadness filled it. “NO!!! NAMOR!!!!” Jessy returned, tears falling from her eyes as she felt the presence of her friend leave her, and after a few seconds her head snapped towards Iriko, rage filled eyes meeting his. The wind around her began to whip around in a frenzy, a tornado forming around the enraged air elemental as she prepared her assault upon the captain. Howling at the top of her voice, she threw out her hands as the tornado split itself in to four identical but smaller vortexes. Then, they all shot off in different directions, one heading towards Iriko, one heading towards the fifth division barracks, and the other two shooting off in random directions. While Jessy’s wounds from her previous interaction with Iriko had been healed fully while she had been in the alternate dimension, her spiritual energy had not been capable of being restored. As the tornado neared the barracks, only inches away, the blue barrier that had appeared when Jessy entered bankai cracked and fell. The tornados dissipated, Jessy’s body returned to its normal form as her twin blades reappeared in their sealed form. The blonde haired girl fell to the ground as her feet gave out, the remains of any of the trees that had appeared with her bankai disappearing as well. Jessy’s breathing was heaving, she could barely move as she lay there on the ground, tears streaming from her eyes. Grief had overcome her form as images dances in her eyes, images of a fire. The burning wood, the feeling of the fire licking at her flesh as she watched her friends become consumed by the flames. Why… why had she been so careless… she had made Namor feel the pain of death yet again. Was she truly worthy of his friendship, was she truly his friend at all or had she just used him? |
