A Day in the Sun
Mon May 27, 2013 3:55 pm
Among the sunny day and the clouds, much like any other full free days that one would see. The clean air felt nice in the Japan wheat field. His right arm rested inside the kimono of red he wore, none were aware of his position as a Zero Division Member. He was in charge of the Rukongai and a couple things. Today was a vacation day so to speak, just to enjoy the old country in Japan. Some things like this were truly peaceful, though he wouldn't lie. He did enjoy the quiet now and then, it let him consider his beliefs and figure things out that would normally take him forever to figure out on his own. Ringo wasn't the type to lay and ponder ideals for a while. He brought out a smoking pipe, much like the old Japanese style of them. He brought it to his mouth, holding it between his digits. Nanashi was quiet as well this evening, he wondered what had been going on. "Such a peaceful place, I still need to visit Kakeru-sensei and Shadin-Sensei, we'll go say hello to them a bit later." This was an interesting place, the humans here were so peaceful and calm. His Zanpakutō rested in his robes, the kodachi known as Nanashi the nameless weapon. He smiled softly as he poured smoke from his lips blowing it out as he stretched standing up. Extending his arms enough so he could bring them back into his sleeves. What a journey he'd had thus far, he would need to return to Rukongai soon though and check on people going in and out. It was his duty to keep them safe, well not safe more or less watch and keep the Zero Division informed of what was going on. Though part of him could remember when he got recruited, it had been so long ago though. He rubbed his chin smiling now as he began to walk forward casually. The Full Free day wasn't done just yet and the Sun looked beautiful among it's clouds. Only thing that could make it better would be a duel of some sort. |

Cero Telca
Someone decided that it was the perfect day to try and be active as a member of the Yayjuu and a defender of Japan. This person seemed to be, one Cero Telca, that was going around Japan for any strange hollow or demon activity. Even so close to the place called Karakura Central, these beings acted as if everything was fine. Cero was able to deal with these disturbances due to his hollow presence that made him appear as if a brother to the hollows. Until he arrived and showed the power and identity of the Hohl Arquero. Going from one place to another in Japan though took some time even with a Xeon, which could go across japan in under 10 minutes probably. He was fairly certain that no one wants to be approached by a force coming at over thousands of mph.
After losing a few of them though, Cero decided to return to foot and flash step and not really getting all the huge threats in one day. As he was moving though he felt a presence that caught his attention for once. It was a shinigami's power, which he should just brush off, but he remember how Zero felt about them. He didn't blame them for the collapse of the quincy, but how would they take to the new combination of a quincy and hollow. He looked onward, not able to sense any threats at the moment, so he had sometime to see how a shinigami will react to him, to Key, the other being that made him, this was like an experiment. With that he flashed in the shinigami's current location, eventually he would be standing before a brown haired shingami smoking a pipe like he was from ages ago.
"Hello, Having a nice day, sir?" He would ask with a small smile, curious to his response with his current hollow presence now rising a bit and his Zanpakutō was by his side in it's sheath.
Would he assume he was an Arrancar and act or thin about this situation. The possibilities were of course endless.

Ringo looked at the man whom appeared, the creature felt like an Arrancar. He didn't know what was going on, he did know something was off, but he couldn't put his finger on it. He wouldn't try though, Ringo didn't question much and he was laid back about this sort of thing. Besides Japan belonged to Master Shadin so if he allowed this creature in, it was the way things were. Surely he was a fine being whom would cause no harm. "It's going well, I am a bit surprised to be honest. Most Arrancar give me a pretty wide birth to avoid me, though you do look far more capable then them." Ringo smiled a bit looking at the creature for a moment, before speaking again. "Though I doubt your just an Arrancar, something doesn't feel quite right..I don't know what, for I am not so good at those sort of things." He wasn't sure what it was, the man reminded him of how his master felt. He was something of course, but something did indeed often fill off when he was around Shadin. He could never put his finger on it, but he found a couple beings just like Shadin whom had that same feeling. Ringo's wrist appeared to have a bracelet on it, this was keeping the photon's he generated regulated to a safe level. So his reiatsu was also contained somewhat, but he touched his zanpakuot softly. Smiling still as he looked towards the male, before speaking once again. "I would like a match with you, I want to see something..If you don't mind that is, I don't plan to release my sword or anything like that..Just a simple crossing of blades is all I ask..You see I am not like my masters, whom can see things before a crossing of blades. However unlike them I can tell alot about a person just from a short spar." Ringo waited calmly, but he had a smile on his face like he knew something was going on. This would allow him to check the male out more carefully, he knew the location was safe. For the most part he wouldn't use his full powers just yet, after all using blasts and things like that in his masters turf would be a good way to end up dead. He of course didn't know much about these sort of things. But he needed to make sure this creature was safe, it seemed friendly enough. But crossing blades really was how he was able to get a good read on someone. It was a strange and odd way to do things. But truth of the matter was, this was how Ringo functioned. He didn't appear eager or even jumping around hyper, nor did he attack right away. He was respectful and waiting for the male's reply, but something about him seemed genuinely off. Ringo's energy was odd and to the most novice person it would noted. One thing was clear that Ringo was holding himself back, he didn't like tapping into his photon energy when he could help it. Why sit in pain all day if you don't have to, to explain it better. Ringo's body was in pain frequently and the way he counter acted it was by fighting this way unless he needed the powers of Nanashi and his own generation of the unstable photon energy. "Your call, you look very capable..I await your reply..My name is Ringo Unabara, to give proper introduction before we begin this thing.." |

Cero Telca
This shingami, was interesting in the fact of his calm approach and response to Cero's power being very much like an Arrancar's. The Hohl Arquero would continue to smile as the shinigami spoke about how most Arrancar would avoid him, but he was definitely capable enough to come around him. He must be hiding his power and Cero kept note of this and tried to act serious. But as the being said Arrancar, he couldn't help but snicker a little at how hard it was for this person to tell he wasn't the kind of being. Then heard the shinigami stated that he was not just an Arrancar and Cero was actually surprised that he was able to come to this conclusion after all."Oh, so you have a good gut huh. Well then, you are quite a unique shinigami." He stated with a grin. Cero wondered where this would go next as he energy was rising a little more with his burst of excitement.
The answer was given as the man continued to speak and said that he wanted to a match with him, but not a fully out match with releases, but a crossing of blades between the two. The thing that he said about being able to tell more about a person after a short spar intrigued him. Could this person sense Zero, the form that he currently took or the true being before him, Cero Telca. So he would accept this invitation and eventually they would begin a small yet rather large match. Typically a battle that involved the Beast of Sound was big, but he didn't quite know who his opponent was after all. Cero was the being born from two separate beings, one a Quincy named Zero and the other, Key an Arrancar. The one that he currently took after was Zero, but he wanted to be his own being in the end.
"I accept you challenge, I am Cero Telca, the Beast of Sound."
Cero rushed forward with in his quick motions he rushed and draw out his Zanpakutō going for a straight stab on the Ringo's chest. It was his sword style to rush in with various directions with stabs, constantly drawing his sword to put his full strength into he stab forward. As he was stabbing he kept note of his Zanpakutō and prepare to be countered or blocked. He would try to push back going out of range for a moment analyzing his opponents actions so that he could be better prepared for the next strike. He would put away his Zanpakutō, only to rush in once more and this time draw and unleash five separate stabs, the first four were aimed for the chest area but the last one was aimed on the higher part of his left arm. Cero could only back away keeping his sword draw for quicker reaction to his opponents next move.
It has finally begun and this was going to be quite exciting even if it wasn't that big in the first place.

Ringo watched the style, it was sort of like a surgical cut to get an idea of what his style was. But his friend was in for a surprised, he was able to follow his movements due to the Cybermind he had. But what was more he was able to keep up, he drew his Zanpakutō out now. He brought Nanashi's blade against the thrust that was coming, his time must of been perfect because he aimed it precisely for the moment the thrust came forward. Hitting the blade in a way that would send the thrust up extremely high leaving the chest section of the enemy in front of him exposed. But he wouldn't go in just yet, he got something from that. He sensed a Quincy, it was faint very almost like someone was hiding pressure. This man wasn't normal among even Shadin he could tell now. His green eyes stared at the man as he watched the next five come. But this time he decided to show some of his speed. He wondered if his sparing partner had noticed it yet. Ringo's intention's everything was empty, he seemed to lack any at all. His moves were hard to read, Ringo had a grin appear on his lips slowly. He decided once his enemy finished the five thrust combo to shoot forward now. Taking his right foot and bringing it towards the enemy, he brought his sword down at an angle. Going across Cero's chest in a slice, he expected it to be parried or dodged. He had an answer for either one, Ringo was smiling now as he began moving. He could still use some Shunpo, but he was getting ready to use a move on the fly. Ringo could make up sword moves as he went and he had a couple ideas. He was merely testing the waters to some extent, he spoke now some part of it came from Kisuke Urahara when he learned from him. "Interesting, you are an interesting person..The strike's are very precise and aimed to deal severe damage if one isn't careful." Ringo moved himself now taking a thrust stance, bringing the weapon so his elbow bent and his bicep was flexing. He brought his free hand forward, letting it rest just above the weapon now. His eyes seemed to green, he wasn't going to use his reiatsu just yet. These types of fights were exciting, he wasn't sure what would happen if he added it in either. Ringo watched now for his enemies next move, he'd already moved himself back from Cero after the last engagement. What he'd gathered thus far was interesting enough. This next strike would be a flash strike so to speak, their speed would come into play and show how great they were, he was amused and well some part of him seemed to be taking it moderately seriously. His kodachi blade was a fair size, Nanashi had been wanting to get in on the action. But Ringo told him no, the damage would need to be kept a low level, he wouldn't tap into his Zanpakutō till he was sure of a couple things. Ringo was still figuring it out, one cross of the blades and he could detect something else. He waited now for Cero to make a move, he'd avoided the first two moves. And lashed out with an attack before backing off. So now the current exchange was looking good for both of them, he smiled softly watching. That was a Zanpakutō as well, this was interesting indeed. Cero was proving a puzzle, he felt like an Arrancar. But in the first clash he felt a Quincy for a moment, it was extremely brief. But he did feel something similar to one perhaps. Two swordsman fought under the Sunlight and it could go for as long as time allowed. |

Cero Telca
Cero felt excited, pumped, and ready to take on anything that his opponent could toss at him. But, this shinigami called Ringo seemed at ease and calm for the most part as he brought his blade away from him as he tried to stab. He probably wouldn't of been in the greatest position if he continued from there, but Cero back off to start his next combo that wasn't very successful either. The five stabs came but, Cero was discouraged as he saw Ringo grin and expect the worst as speed came to play. His opponent stepped forward with a slice aimed at his chest, Cero moved with his already drawn sword to intercept it as the two blades clashed and held each other in place until the two stepped back from each other. From what he could tell, his opponent was definitely a much better swordsman then him, but what should he of expected from a shinigami that wanted a cross of blades, a Kidō expert?
It had some luck in it that speed was Cero's game as he could keep up with Ringo's speed, although he didn't have the advantage that a cyberbrain offered a individual in reading a opponent and giving greater reactions. This a simple clash of blades for now, but what would prevail, the veteran or the talented young-blood. "You are very interesting person as well, you are able to act with ease and such calmness, but with such quick thinking and speed." he said in response to Ringo's comment towards him.
Cero's eyes widened as a stab came from his foe instead of himself, his reaction was the immediate motion of his Zanpakutō to swing across him and push his foe's blade off target and hopefully out of complete range as he put his strength into it. By this time, they were already away again, and he sensed that the next strike might just raise the intensity that he was feeling more, for now he would sit back and watch for his opponent's first move if he could. He would put his blade back into his sheath on his side, but he would never take his hand off of it. He would move his left foot back taking a stance with his held blade to make a perfect horizontal slice if it came to be needed.
The only question remaining, was what was wandering in Ringo's mind, as his plan of action.

"I think I'll start moving for real now..Let's see what happens." Ringo smiled softly and brought his sword in front of him, using his next sword move would be fun. His style lacked any form really or style, this style had no gimmick and was nearly impossible to read. For two reasons Ringo was named what he was and for the most part was a fair enemy. Ringo wasn't joking when he said he was holding back. "Would you like to see what it's like when my reiatsu isn't hidden by this device?" He gestured to the object on his wrist, depending on the males answer he would have some fun soon. Ringo smiled and seemed to keep a very calm and odd composure about himself. Ringo knew that for a fact he was able to produce some power that most couldn't and he wondered if the enemy he was crossing blades with. Would like a bit more of a challenge was all, Ringo wore the regulator for mostly holding himself back. He'd not begun to use some of his reiatsu with it. Ringo waited calmly for the response and depending on what came he would answer in his own way. Ringo had been hiding some of his strength, he figured the male would like to fight him with his strength at it's well best for his current stage. Not activating Shikai or Bankai was the plan. "Alright then, let me show you it..hm we should be fine out here.." Ringo pulled the bracelet off, it wasn't something that one could describe into words. Ringo's body was engulfed in white light as reiatsu poured around him. The ground around him cracked as he began moving his shoulders. "Ya know I don't do this for just anyone, normally I prefer to keep it on.." Ringo began moving his shoulders as though getting used to a suit. Ringo gave his sword a couple practice swings, his speed was far faster then what it had been. He smiled faintly as he watched looking at Cero, his calm composure remained. "So show me yours as well, I sense a Quincy in you..but their is more that much I am certain of..Honestly the thing with Quincy's never really made sense to me..But that's just my opinion." Ringo was perceptive, he wasn't the regular person some people mistook him for, but some people saw what made him frightening. Ringo was going to use something he'd not been interested. To see just how fast this guy could go, Cero was an impressive being. He most likely could keep up with Ringo's speed for the moment very well. Ringo was curious how fast he really was, the man did seem to be hiding some power. But Ringo had already guessed he was holding back, he kept this composed smile that seemed to hint at something more to him then one would expect. Ringo waited for the male to let his power out, he was certain he wouldn't refuse. It was now very clear that Ringo wasn't as powerless or low as he made himself appear at times, his reiatsu was very impressive. The white engulfing light was something both good and bad, he couldn't help it as it was the energy source he generated. Photon Energy, the light around his body was bright but it was soon fading to some extent. He wasn't in the habit of showing off, swordsmanship had no gimmick and thus it deserved a certain deal of respect when one encountered an enemy of this strength. And he would show Cero what he was made of, the Sight of the Flash was about to dance. |

Cero Telca
For Real?" Was what Cero repeated like a question with curiosity.
This statement kind of shocked him even more, as he realized that this person was indeed on his level or around it at least. This person wasn't act calm or relaxed in this low level for Cero, he was actually relaxing and not even at a destructive level at the moment. So, the fireworks were only going to start right now and the true action that was brought between these two arose. One thing that did come to his mind though was that if they both revealed their power, there would be two big dots on the radar from Karakura. But to hell with it, Only the high level of organizations could even approach and cause problems for them anyway and Cero knew most of them in Karakura Central, and this shinigami probably knew most of them from the Soul Society. If any enemies approached they better be prepared for two powerhouses ready to rip them a new one.
"Sure, let me see your inner strength." He stated.
"Sounds like something Shadin would use to restrain himself." Cero said pondering as the shinigami took his bracelet off.
Then flashing light poured out from within Ringo, which he could only assume was this person's reitsu that was very unique and definitely flashy. He kept note that his opponent's speed has improved to a new point as well and he looked at Cero and asked him to show, the strength that he was holding back. There was no point in which to not hold back what his opponent was revealing to him. He took his hand off the Zanpakutō and his pressure exploded outward, but his hand extended outward to form his bow as reitsu in the environment gathered. With that gather amount, he fired an arrow into the sky and he put his bow away and hand back on his blade. He still had his power exploding outward, and his unique presence of Arrancar and Quincy both showed.
"Your the first to notice that I'm not Quincy, or Arrancar without me telling. For that I congratulate you." He exclaimed to Ringo.
Cero watched the power of Ringo flow outward, it intimidated him a little bit to the fact that it was very unique and never seen before like his. But with that he charged forward ready for another collision with the shinigami, this stand off need to enter it's clash once more.
The first round was still underway.

"It does sound like my Master, he and I do think alike..I had them designed by my other Master..Well..if you can call him that." No sign of surprise came from Ringo, he knew what the male was. Well sort of, he detected trace amounts of both. Ringo kept the smile on his face, he was still composed and not really showing signs of losing that composure. Some people would argue that it was a hindering that he needed to avoid having. "Here I come, prepare yourself." This was the strange way of Ringo, he could be wounded and still smiling. It was this odd composure he held about things, it's why to a point his personality was on the edge. This was the way things were and he had to accept them. Ringo decided to make his move, after all little else was left to do. He showed off his power now to show off what it made him, he took a traditional stance for kendo. Well in some senses of it, but he was still quite able to fight and change his moves in an instant. Ringo stepped forward and shot like a bullet towards Zero, this little engagement had been a fun way to figure things out. Zero was a good enemy, but they had both decided to show their inner strength. Ringo brought down his sword in what seemed to be a straight forward slash, but in an instant the blade changed course and moved. The vertical slash had changed directions and ended up becoming a slash that was horizontal, going across the male's chest if it struck. The composure and way the male moved finally showed something most people could see. His movements weren't able to be read correctly most of the time, his emotions were not able to be read correctly either. Ringo had figured perhaps a counter from the male, after this man was impressive and he knew well enough that his swordsmanship wasn't all Ringo had to be concerned about. He remembered why Shadin had been such a challenging master but that was a story for another time wasn't it? Ringo could only smile and watch for the next move to come. Cero was an interesting being, Ringo backed off after that engagement again. To see the results of his first attack with his powers active. "Well that was part of it, you see my sword style doesn't really have a gimmick or even a name..I believe it's something pure that cannot be given those things. No set moves and no set path for the blade to follow." Ringo explained what he'd just done, due to his natural speed and other skills with the Cybermind he could change his weapons path on a dime. But the truth was, their was more to show yet. He'd not quite tapped into Shunpos or other skills yet, he wondered if his enemy had noticed it yet. Ringo simply smiled faintly and awaited the response of Cero. He was a respectful at the very least, making him an interesting person to deal with. The only thing that one noticed other then that was the odd spiritual pressure he gave off. Ringo body did feel a tad sore from his own energy, but this was common it was nothing that hurt just yet. He'd not done anything as the British would say bonkers yet. Or was it Bonza, he never could remember. The thoughts that went through his mind at these times were so odd, if someone looked in their the question would be raised on his thoughts more often. He'd fought against armies and thought about his soap operas. |

Cero Telca
Cero was kind of surprised that Ringo knew of Shadin, which made him a bit more worried now, that he said master instead of Shadin's name. So was this one of the Yuudeshi's students, that he has never encountered in the Yayjuu. But this would only excite him more, as anyone trained by him should at least offer him a challenge. Eventually, he came like a bullet that he was just about ready for and he came down with a vertical slash to add to it. As time speed forward Zero readied himself to block it, but things were quite unusual for the moments before they clashed. He was prepping for that first slash, when he quickly switched it up to go horizontally instead. His style of drawing the sword gave him the time and ability to match his sword out by drawing it at the perfect blocking angle. He was not quite position to block the attack as well. it was almost hell holding it there as he had awkwardly drew it was not even completely out of the sheath. "You switched that so quickly that I could barely keep up with he motions. did you intend to do that?" He would ask. "So you have full flexibility over how you act in sword combat." Cero would state to him after he explained to him.
So Ringo definitely had speed down as well for a skill and it seemed that they were well matched, except he felt that Ringo's experience and style were giving a edge that he didn't have and probably wouldn't have for a long while. Cero made the next move as he put his sword back in the sheath as he moved forward with he use of sonido, and withing the this motion he drew his sword upward. With that he made a diagonal slash to go across Ringo, but with his energy unleashed this simple slash went further as with a burst of air as he ran forward. the very sound of his sonido, charged with his energy around his blade, rang out with a slash of sound in the air around them. This was what he had intended with the strain that had been put on his arm from not blocking his blow properly as he wanted. It didn't really harm his speed much, but the force that h could put behind his swings at the moment were not at their best. He already knew that this would not be a game of strength, but of speed if he had anything to say about it.
As the blade went outward with it's slash, he did not draw back, rather he charged forward with multiple stabs in the abdomen area, with a final kicker towards the heart as he didn't plan to let up, this person, could think quickly and the more time he gave him to act, the worse. With that he used the Quincy's god step to attempt to catch him from behind with a stab in his left shoulder. If that failed Cero had to be on his toes with this guy as he had a unpredictable style with plenty of options on how to proceed with attacking or even blocking.'You really don't leave me with much time of rest as I realize, you not only keep me physically at the ready, but my mind must always be ready for your twists and turns should they ever come." He commented as they continued with their clash.Where this was going, made him wonder how far this battle with a shinigami would go before they quite stopped, his attacks weren't as precise as his but they were equally deadly if they could land like a sneak attack on an enemy from behind.

I'm never going to be a hero! But I'm Zero!
