Moonlit Blood [was solo at start, luda only]
Wed Mar 27, 2013 3:32 pm
Samantha pushed through the forest, the moonlight falling upon her blue hair. She knew it might be a trap, but the rumor of spellbooks being hidden in the deep forest was too much for her to resist. She neared the area, and as the rumors stated an odd shack stood in a clearing. The door seemed to have fallen off the hinges, and as she neared the door way, she noticed how it seemed to be in total disrepair. The thought of those magic books filled her head, and she walked faster through the entrance. Three steps inside the dark room hands grabbed at her, covering her mouth and restraining her they pulled her over to a table. Straps were fastened around her arms, legs, and torso. Her eyes looked around widely in fear, and she saw it, a device used for transferring blood from one person to another. Her eyes widened as she saw someone, shrouded in the dark, prick itself with the needle for the donor, and the push the other needle in to her, the blood pouring from the arm in the black and flowing towards her.
She screamed as the blood entered her, the pentacle around her neck quivered slightly of its own accord. Vampires. The thought entered her mind, and from what she heard it made sense. These people must be vampires, do they intend to turn me in to one of them? Fear flooded her and she screamed repeatedly. For what seemed like hours the blood poured in to her, and eventually the needle was pulled out and her conscious faded to nothing.

Samantha's eye flew open, the memories fresh in her mind. Struggling to her feet, her body in pain but she did not waste time. It seemed she had only been out of it for an hour, but she could not wait on anything. She could not be sure the ritual would work, and she must give herself time for a failure. Taking a stick, she drew a circle in the earth big enough for her to sit in, then another circle an inch from it. Mystical symbols were drawn between the two, and once done she sat within the circles and pulled a curved knife from within her bag. She used it to cut a five pointed star on her palm, allowing the blood to spill on the circle. Closing her eyes, she concentrated, pushing everything in to the ritual, allowing the blood to slowly drip from the wound on to the circle as she did. She held the concentration, for hours, the blood dripping slowly for the first three hours. As the sun started to peak over the horizon, the five pointed star glowed, burning as a circle was burned into her hand around it, signaling the ritual was completed. With that, she fell to the ground, unconscious.

Naia had awoken in her room it was very early morning that the sun hadn't risen yet. Naia was unable to go back to sleep that she walked out of her house in her Pj's and decided to go for a walk. She decided to take one of her less traveled paths possibly marking locations of plants she might encounter as she headed down the path in her mind. She lived in the forest but still hadn't examined everything that could be found in the forest. She knew that she may possibly never examine the entire forest she lived in. Time had passed as she kept finding and examining plants that she encountered. The sun was starting to rise a little more and a little more. Before she realized it the sun had risen . She spotted someone. it was a women who seemed familiar. She was unconscious. She didn't know what had happened or why she was there but she thought maybe she should do something to help her. She walked up to the women and tried to wake her. She didn't know if she was okay. From what Naia saw it appeared that she had no visible injuries on her body. the only thing she was able to notice was a strange burn mark on her hand.
"Excuse me miss are you awake? Can you hear me?"
She continued to shake the women to try to wake her. She stopped and checked her pulse she seemed to have one and she could see her chest compressing and decompressing so she was also breathing and alive. Naia wasn't sure what to do from here.

Samantha's eyes flew open, and the first thing she noticed was the pain. It was unlike anything she had ever felt before and she let out a loud yelp from it. Next she noticed the girl, the features all blurred as the pain jolted through her. Scream after scream left her throat as the pain jolted through her for a few minutes before reaching a tolerable level. Panting heavily, her eyes finally cleared, and she recognized the person standing over her. Shakily she lifted her hand in to view, smiling slightly when she saw the circle. Attempting to sit up proved impossible, and she winced as she hit the ground, her vision blurring for a bit. Sighing she looked over at the girl next to her.
"Hi there, can you help me out? I need to get inside before I die, but it seems I can't get up. Seems I lost too much blood last night."
Samantha stopped talking for a minute, she eyes closing halfway as she remembered everything that had happened. After convincing herself the ritual had worked, she looked over at the young girl with a pleading look.
"Could you please help me up, and perhaps take me to your place? Don't worry, I won't bite."
Smiling lightly at her small joke, she looked around. To her left she could see a puddle of her own blood, and around her remnants of the circle she had drawn. Now she waited on the girls decision.

Trying to ignore the blood Naia thought about how she could help the women. She stated that she lost a lot of blood and Naia could see the bloody area she was in. Looking at all this blood bothered her but the women's safety was much more important. She had to react quickly to help her because death would come quickly to take the women if she received no help. Naia walked up to the women.
"I'm going to use my power to help so please don't fear me."
Naia closed her eyes and held her hands to her chest. She focused on herself and her surroundings listening to the sounds of life. She used this as the motivation to her powers. She spread out her wings and let a emerald green light consume her. Within in this flash of light her body changed She was no longer a little girl but now a 9 and a half foot tall dragon. She let out a roar the moment she transformed but tried to get close to the women and positioned herself so the women could get on her back.
"Please don't be scared this way i can quickly move you "
Naia spoke hoping that this way she could quickly transport Samantha to her home and help treat her. it didn't seem like Samantha was losing anymore blood so and she just needed some rest and to take a lot of fluids to try to help her. Naia in this form managed to get Samantha on her back and transported her to her home with in the forest. After sometime Naia managed to get Samantha inside the mansion which she called home and placed her in a bed in one of the rooms. She quickly grabbed water and quickly made a soup with some herbs she kept in the kitchen and brought it with her while she watched Samantha. She tried feeding her some soup and made sure she had plenty of water to drink.

Samantha didn't react at all as the young girl turned in to a dragon of some sort, she had seen stranger things, and on top of it she didn't have the energy to do so. She let the girl lay her in bed, smiling as she watched the girl bring soup and water to her. However, her throat burned whenever the water or soup touched it, and she gagged on it at first. However, after a couple more tries she managed to choke down a decent amount of food, her body starting to regain its strength.
Just then, she felt a stirring in the pit of her stomach for a moment, then pain blocked out every other sensation. The pain wracked her body as the scar on her hand glowed, giving off a strange reddish light. Samantha screamed in pain, her will just barely keeping her conscious as she fought on. Unlike the pain before, it did not seem to be subsiding, it continued, the light getting brighter, and brighter. Eventually, the light reached a peak, she shuddered, for a moment, the stopped moving. Her heartbeat was loud, and as the light died down her chest started moving, showing she was not dead, just asleep.

As Naia came back and forth bringing different things to try to help Samantha she grew frightened she wasn't exactly sure what was wrong and what to do she did notice that there was more and more strange light coming from Samantha. She wasn't completely unsure of what it was but she quickly gathered warm towels and wrapped it around the other women's hand to see if that would work. It had not as the light was still getting brighter and brighter til at a point it got to it's peak and then seemed like it stopped. It was very strange and caused Naia's heart beat to rise up to the point where she could heart it and her small chest quickly expanded and compressed. Naia unsure what happened to Samantha after her the light went off she was no no longer moving and seemed to appear to be dead. Naia was starting to panic then heart her heart beat. This at least told her the woman wasn't dead but just sleeping. This fact helped calm Naia down. She left the room for a short period of time to gather Some herbs from her garden and she proceeded to make some tea using the herbs she had gathered. As she slowly made the tea she listened in for any noises that could be coming from the room where Samantha was in. Naia finished making the tea and walked up the stairs back to the second floor to the room where Samantha was in and set the tea on a table besides the bed which Samantha slept in. Naia brought some tea for herself which she also left on the table and left as she retrieved a chair from the dinning room on the second floor and brought it in to the other room. She then sat in the chair drinking her tea as she watched the other women lay in the bed and rest. This way she was able to keep an eye on her and react to anything in case something might happen.
