[Gunjin 4-1+] Just walked into the tavern and this happens.

With her long, red, wild hair trailing behind her, a dark-skinned woman who is tall for her kind walks into a tavern to get a refill of fruit-flavored sake into the sake jug that hangs from her sash. The Zanpakutō was locked into a sheath that horizontally suspends behind her shoulders while facing its hilt towards her right. The uniform means that she is a graduated Shinigami, but .the stance and the way she walked, she is more of a disciplined soldier than just a rookie. Her crystal blue eyes look upon the proprietor as she yanks the simple knot undone and holds up her sake jug, implying a refill. "Which flavor, Gunjin?" He asked as the woman stops at the serving table. "Tangerine; It is morning." Gunjin replies briefly. The proprietor takes the sake jug from Gunjin's casual reach and goes to concoct a tangerine-flavored sake. As usual, Gunjin always has a fruit in her hand and as foreshadowed, it was a tangerine that she casually peels while waiting. The trouble begins with one who had too much.

Strange that people would get drunk in the morning, but with the ongoing conditions of the Rukongai, Gunjin can tell why. On and on, the crime rates are decreasing and increasing like a cockroach swarm. Hardly any peace other than to waste away in a booze joint to forget the trouble of seeing someone murdered or being robbed. "Eeey *hic* knoh ta Sheeneegaymee art noth elloweee har! Tis ish *hic* how turffffah!" A drunken thug tries to confront Gunjin like a hotshot. However, Gunjin remains quiet, not trying to give the foolish man any eye contact. "Sheeneegaymee! I ham tock-king two yew!" The drunkard spouts out in vain to get Gunjin's attention. "Aching leek eh hee-in-meaty biotch well noth dee yew annie gooh!" He continues before he clumsily lands his hand upon the right cheek of Gunjin's rear. Gunjin is now riled up because no one dares touch her without knowing her first. "Eh? Eh woomin? Yew whork howt." The drunk comments with a blushed face and a cheesy grin on his face.

In retaliation for the unwanted touching, Gunjin spins on her right toe as her left knee lifts up onto the private house of the drunk's inner man. The man exhales deeply and staggers backward with his arms over his stomach while keeling over. Gunjin shifts her feet from left in front to right in front as it follows her swooping uppercut that ventures underneath the drunk's chin. The strength carries the man up straight in stance before flying three feet off the ground before Gunjin slams the back of her right fist against the man's junk, causing him to squeal like a pig as he hits the wooden flooring. The drunk lays still with his eyes blank and mouth gaping wide open as Gunjin drags him by the front of his short-cut kimono's collar and drops him out six feet away from the tavern's entrance. As Gunjin walks back into the tavern, she stops at the entrance with her eyes a tiny bit wider than her furious look from before. Gunjin was facing the drunk's friend who is holding a gun at her, a handgun that she has not seen before since she has not been to Earth before.

Gunjin received formal training and militia training, but they both do not prepare her for an encounter of a foreign weapon that can kill people from a distance more than any archery. "Y-Y-You killed him! Bitch! You killed him! H-H-How can you compensate?" The scared friend shouts out to Gunjin as he hides behind a false courage of a gun. "Gu-Oh my! Where did you get that thing!" A woman comes in from where the proprietor entered, presumably the proprietor's wife. Clearly the gun was very foreign to this part of the Rukongai, even a scary sight since it is uncommon to meet a Shinigami or anyone in the Soul Society who are experienced with guns. "Get back inside." Gunjin commands the wife, but the friend points at the wife with his gun. "N-N-No one moves!" The friend cries out. Gunjin needs a plan and one that does not involve civilian casualties. The fact that a civilian of the Rukongai has a gun would be enough to initiate an investigation, but now it is the time for survival, not inquiry.
