Flash of fire and lightning (Gin, Kidō training)

Tetsu, do I know this person? I know I can be a little bit blanked from time to time but I cannot seem to remember this guy's face. I mean don't get me wrong he seemed to be aware of the Vizard corp but beyond that I don't think I remember him.

Keep your guard up Andrew, I know you didn't meet a lot of people from the Vizard corp let alone meeting many Vizards, but you do not know who he is yet.

Andrew nodded his head as he tilted his head to the side. On one hand he seemed to know not just his rank but he seemed to know Colin intimately from the sound of things. But on the other hand he was unsure if he had been from one of the other divisions or if he was actually an officer. At the very least he was going to try to be a little bit diplomatic about this. If he was in the Vizard corp and he was a superior rank, then he didn't want to cause any kind of friction and then get into trouble with Colin. Andrew looked at the fellow vizard as he spoke. "Well it's nice to meet you too. Sorry if I do not know your name, I don't think we have ever met before. If we did I may have simply bumped into you and I can't put a name to the face. Anyway, my name is Andrew Takahashi." He then turned to look out into the distance as he spoke. "So what brings you out here? I was here to test out some of my Kidō and see what I can be able to do beyond the normal defense and offense strategies." He had kept his eyes on him, much less with weariness and more inquisitive. He really was trying to figure out if he had seen him before but so far there his mind had been drawing a blank. Perhaps if learned more about him a memory or two could come back. At the very least he would be able to know his name now so he can remember for future reference.

Stefan's gaze from his bright neon-green eyes didn't leave the young Vizard who stood before him as Andrew spoke his share. It appeared as though the Vizard Corps lieutenant colonel didn't know nor understand how Stefan could possibly understand so much about him or his boss, especially considering these two had never even met before. However, that didn't change the fact that Andrew seemed to stay distant during the conversation, which told Stefan his conversational partner was wary of who exactly he was. Was it time to tell him, time to reveal his true identity? Perhaps not.

"Let's just say I currently hold interest in both you and the organization you are a part of. Other than that, there really isn't much to tell. We're both Vizards, so what's the point in being suspicious......?"

Little did the young Andrew Takashi know, the man who was currently addressing him was actually the greatest enemy of the Vizards Corps: Stefan Soan, the Monsuta King and leader of all Vizards who opposed Zin Yuudeshi and Colin Washi. However, the reason he would be such a major villain for that orginzation wasn't just because of those reasons. He also happened to be Stefan's archrival, and has opposed the good Vizards for quite some time. Rarely would someone such as Andrew meet one of the most powerful Vizards in existence, especially one not affiliated with the Corps. Perhaps it wasn't mere chance that these two would meet on this fateful day.

"You said you wanted to test your skill in Kidō, yes? Well, it just so happens I'm looking for a worthy opponent......"

From within a scabbard attached to a belt around his waist, Stefan drew forth a brilliant katana with a dark purple hilt and gloriously sharp blade. After drawing the weapon from it's sheath completely, Stefan raised the blade to nearly eye level, it's tip pointing directly at Andrew Takahashi as though it's wielder were issuing a challenge directed at the Kidō Corps lieutenant.

"Let's see what you've got......"

"Actually it's less being suspicious and more trying to find out who you are because I honestly cannot remember you. Your face isn't familiar to me."

There was an honest tone in his voice as he looked at the vizard curiously. It was clear from the look in his eyes that he really was trying to know who he was with all the sense of being naive. He had a small catalog of people he had encountered in this day and age, especially when it came to the vizards. With the exception of his commanding officers and Sherri, he didn't know many other vizards. Even when he remembered meeting a vizard by chance when he was working in a restaurant, he couldn't remember the person's name for the life of him. But as he listened to the vizard he nodded his head. He had wanted to learn more about having to increase his skill over Kidō so that he can stand a better chance against some of the people that might try to kill him.

He kept his zanpaktou tight in his right hand. Though it seemed that he would be using Kidō, those who didn't know his bankai would think him being without logic as to why would he keep his weapon. But for now Andrew had been watching the vizard intently. He had been talking about Kidō, so it must have meant that he had some pretty decent degree in how to wield it. And though he didn't seem to want to cut his head off on the spot, Andrew was almost expecting it to happen. As he looked at the vizard, he then quickly pointed at him and said,"Hadō number four, byakurai!" He quickly launched a white lightning bolt at the vizard's body, trying to figure out how much he was able to take.

The words spoken from the Vizard standing before him only spurred on Stefan's wanting to keep his name private for now. Stefan figured if Andrew figured out who he was, he'd alert commanders in the Vizard Corps, which would most certainly interrupt the current meeting between the two. And if there's one thing Stefan hates, its interruptions. Instead, he simply stared at the lieutenant colonel with his bright green eyes twinkling in the sunlight raining down upon the two. Stefan was purposely allowing his opponent to make the first move, and as such he wasn't surprised when Andrew unleashed some Kidō upon him.

As the lightning bolt generated from Andrew's hands made it's way towards Stefan, he stood unflinching, stoic even. He would not try to dodge, or even try to block this attack upon him. Instead, he took the low-level Hadō directly to his chest, which after not being able to pierce his body, fizzled out pretty quickly. He stood undamaged with just a small amount of smoke coming off of the location where he was hit by the Kidō attack. In response to Andrew's attack, Stefan raised his left hand up, and pointed his index finger at his opponent and began to speak. "Hadō Number 4: Byakurai." Just as Andrew had done just a mere moment ago, Stefan released a thin light-colored lightning bolt from his finger tip, except the difference was sheer power. Though Andrew's would be strong enough to injure a Hollow, Stefan's was exponentially more powerful, and if it hit the lieutenant colonel directly, it might even pierce right through him, and would keep on going straight through other buildings behind them, tearing them down one by one until it would finally fizzle out. It was also much faster in movement than Andrew's, reaching his location much quicker than the previous one aimed at Stefan. Now the Monsuta King simply waited for Andrew's response.

Well one thing is clear, this guy is alot stronger than I am if he can be able to take a Kidō to the chest.

Andrew was no fool as he witness the Kidō simply bounce off Stefan as if it was nothing. To him that only meant one thing: he was considerably stronger than he was. He seemed to moving backwards on the building he was on, keeping one foot off the edge as he kept his eyes on his opponent. As he witnessed the bolt come straight for him there was only one thing to do to avoid the bolt with someone of his speed had: take a literal dive. He used his shunpo to drop himself off the building but not before taking note about how Stefan's Kidō had worked. His byakurai was much more potent as it shot through building as if it might as well have been thin air as he tried to keep an idea in mind to force a stalemate.

He stopped in mid air, looking into the building as he got an idea. He looked at the window as he smiled. "Legs like a jack rabbit's, reach for the sky. Bakudou number 11 Haru Bōdo." He felt the reiatsu in his legs build up and immediately used shunpo as he took his zanpaktou out. Concentrating on his blade he turned his attention to the ceiling Stefan had been on as he prepared for another Kidō. "Hadō number 41 Geruto Oshii!" He took a swing with his zanpaktou, the vizard attempted to take the building down that Stefan had used as his perch to see if he can be able to get distracted. If Stefan can fall to hubris then maybe there's more he can do to distract him.

Wanting to see how his opponent would react, Stefan hadn't done anything when he watched the chef Vizard jump off the building and then free fall downwards. Sensing a quick build up in energy by his opponent, most likely to use another Kidō spell or something, Stefan gripped his Zanpakutō that was still in his right hand tightly to act before his opponent could get an attack off. Stefan raised the weapon above this head, and then swung it down with a tremendous amount of force. The force was so great that a massive wave made of sheer pressure easily the size of a getsuga tensho erupted from the blade as he attacked, which not only tore its way straight through the building he was on, consuming the entire roof, as well as multiple floors below him, but also kept going through the steel beams of the building, completely eradicating Andrew's Kidō, as well as heading straight towards the Lieutenant colonel without stopping, or slowing down at all. And this wasn't even a special attack, just air pressure from the man's physical strength.

After destroying the building he was on, Stefan allowed himself to fall to the ground very far below, only to land safe and soundly a mere moment later. He looked around, waiting for his opponent to attack him again. He watched as the building he had previously been on continued to collapse, but to his chagrin, he also noticed a trail of about eight buildings in the direction of his sword swing collapsing as well. Eh......I think I may have put a little too much power in that. Well, I just hope the little guy is OK, it'd be fucking boring for the fight to end so quickly."

Andrew had expected for his Kidō not to be as effective. He even had expected Stefan to be a strong as he was for first glance. It was one of the things that he had to learn the hard way: underestimating your enemy would easily get you nearly killed. Considering how easily he had been able to take a byakurai and not look like he even had a single sign of even having the slightest burn only meant he needed to see more to figure things out. But as he witnessed him simply tear through his newest Kidō meant that he needed to act quickly for his Kidō to work right. As he watched him coming for him, Andrew had used the air pressure and pointed straight down as he looked at three stable pieces of rubble to engage a quick recovery. "Bakudou number 37, Tsuriboshi!"

He couldn't think about Stefan as he plummeted straight down into the energy net, serving once more as his makeshift trampoline to sling shot himself into the air to give him a moment to breathe and refocus his reiatsu to have himself now mid air. But not before witnessing the sheer strength of his opponent. Even with a single swipe with his sword he had been able to tear through multiple multiple buildings as if they were nothing to him. Thankfully they were in an environment that would not have any innocent people nearby or else things would have gone south quickly. But he watched him seeming to focus on the devastation. He knew this would be one of his only chances to get him off balance if he didn't act now. As he spoke softly, he kept his eyes on Stefan. "Carriage of Thunder. Bridge of a spinning wheel. With light, divide this into six. Bakudou number 61, Rikujōkōrō." He created the beams of light, hoping it would be enough to trap Stefan long enough so he could be able to wield his bankai. He didn't want to use it, but he knew that there was one ability he had that could keep him off balance. He just needed to buy some time as the black and white spice started to form on his blade.

"Now where is that little bastard......" Stefan was attempting to sense his opponent due to not being able to see him with his eyes, so he was hoping to be able to find him even if he was blocks away. After a few short moments, Stefan located his opponent and began walking calmly towards the direction of the Vizard Corps lieutenant while whistling rather casually as though he wasn't actually in combat. After getting close, Stefan stopped whistling and a huge smile appeared on his face, one that only a sadistic killer would have. The Vizard King watched as his opponent caught himself mid air by using a Kidō spell which he also used to fling himself back higher in the air. It seemed he was trying to catch his breath for a second. "Hey, what the fuck are you doing way up there? Come on down and fight! Maybe I'll just have to---."

Stefan Soan's words were interrupted by the use of another Kidō spell by Andrew Takahashi, however this spell was different from his previous ones. While Andrew had only resorted to offensive and supportive spells up till now, now he had unleashed a powerful spell meant to restrain and prevent movement, which it seemed to do for a moment. However, Stefan reacted a bit....oddly. "Hey kid, did you know Bakudo spells level 60 and higher aren't supposed to be able to be broken out of with just strength? Well guess what......!" As Stefan finished talking, his left arm began to move despite the fact that Rikujōkōrō was meant to completely and totally restrain the victim, and then with one quick movement, Stefan smashed his fist straight through one of the light rays, shattering it. He then did this to the other five rays as well, destroying the Bakudo spell with pure physical strength alone, and he wasn't even sweating yet. He looked at his opponent again and began moving towards him again when he noticed the man begin to do something strange, which also seemed to involve his Zanpakutō.

"Yeah, release your damn Zanpakutō! Otherwise you might just die!"
