» Personality:
Proud: Berakhir is a very proud being, taking from the fact that he is as old as time, for he was born when knowledge, memory and fate came into existence. As such, it is arguable that due to his heritage, he may even be as old as the gods. Due to this fact, Berakhir is a very proud individual that chooses to follow his own wishes and desires, spending time in order to increase his own knowledge and writing it all down in tomes and grimoires. He has no master, for the tides of fate will continue drifting for as long as there are other beings in the various dimensions that make up the known worlds. When asked whom he serves, he would respond by saying that the only true master is fate, and that fate guides his hand, just like he guides knowledge by making his records.
Some of the things he takes pride in is the Library world he created, a place that safely stores all kinds of knowledge that is created and left visible in the world. The conceptual world of his own creation allows him to gather the endless amounts of knowledge in the world, though this will take him forever, for every second of the day, things happen and new knowledge is created. His several thousands of years have allowed him to gather such vast amounts of knowledge that even the purest of souls would become arrogant and proud.
Wise and Knowledgeable: Wisdom is one of the factors that allowed Berakhir to be born, and is the one thing he has spent many a thousand years on. One can never truly know everything, though Berakhir knows most things that have happened, and things that are currently happening. Whenever something happens in one of the spiritual worlds, he records the events in his books which are then stored inside of his “Blackened Library”, a place to which only he can provide access, seeing as it is a world of his creation. Known throughout the various dimensions by several name, one of the most well known is the “God of Knowledge”, the reason why people would seek an audience with him. Few know how to get a hold of him, for the means to getting into contact with the weaver of fate has been hidden from mortals, for a very good reason.
Next to his arrogance and pride, he can be incredibly helpful to those who manage to get a hold of him, and have a good offering to give, for his knowledge and time are far from free. If one gives him a good enough reason to help him, which is translated to giving him something he truly wants, he will provide that person with the knowledge they seek. Despite the fact that he does not deal with the affairs of mortals willingly, those that manage to find and please him might get more then they have bargained for. As the Danava of Knowledge, the infinite amounts of the stuff do not pose a threat to him, though those that set foot in his Library, or ask an incomplete question might not get what they seek, or as opposed to that, get much more then they would want to know. It has happened several times that a cultist in the material world summoned the Lord of Infinite memories, only to have their brain shut down by the seemingly endless amounts of knowledge, turning the man into a vegetable.
It is his generally unkind nature that keeps him from explaining his rules to people, believing that if people have taken the effort to summon him, they could at least take the time to learn the rules he has set up. The amount of people that have been blessed with his wisdom are a well counted twenty souls over the many years of his existence, while only five of them survived the encounter with him. One of the people that has had an audience with him was the Demon God, Deveta himself.
Arrogant: Berakhir is a very old being, and because of his age and the amount of years spent in the spiritual worlds, he believes that there is not a single being that knows more then him, or knows of a way to beat him. Be it a misjudgement or truth, his overbearing arrogance can be enough to put some at a loss of words, or make people attack him in anger. Knowing full well that he is among the strongest of demon-kind, he chooses not to get involved with the affairs of mortals, or with the demon world itself. Having granted his knowledge to the Demon god himself, he knows that his knowledge is what makes him more important then other demons and spiritual creatures. Considering himself to be more then a Demon and a Spirit, he considers himself to be a God. His power is not to be strong or to be untouchable in battle, but to gather knowledge from the far corners of the universe, and to occasionally alter the tides of Fate by allowing mortals to tap into his vast amounts of information. In most cases, he has been known to push people into the right direction, allowing them to do the math themselves. Berakhir does not consider himself to be responsible for what people choose to do, knowing that others will get rid of the problem if it arises.
Most people do not have the means to summon the God of Knowledge, though when he manifests himself out of his own free will, it tends to be simply out of boredom. Knowledge breeds more knowledge, and by sharing some of his with a potent individual, they might use it to create things he has yet to think of, doing his work for him. What people choose to do with his knowledge is not something he wants to know, simply because he does not care about it at all. If people use his knowledge to destroy cities or break down other powerful beings, it can set in motion a chain reaction that might be interesting for him to witness. Being the loner that he is, he does not care about destruction or recreation, having long since discarded his feelings of shame and sadness for a new and more twisted sense of self. Destruction and death only make way for new things to come into existence, giving him new material to work with in his spiritual world. Many have used knowledge as a tool for the waging of war, something the invisible hand of Berakhir can be traced back to. Truly, the world is nothing more then a playground to him.
Unkind: Unkind is one way of putting Berakhir’s overall personality, believing that acts of kindness are born solely out of weakness. Pleasantries only make things last longer then he wants them to, especially when people are speaking to him. Not bothering to explain his rules to the people that do not interest him, he takes joy in seeing how some people have their mind break down under the weight of his knowledge when asked for it. It makes him feel more omnipotent when he sees how feeble the mind of mortals is when compared to his own, which is why he is considered to be unkind. Showing no emotions like other individuals would, he remains entirely closed off and distant, giving people nothing to go on during their encounters, making him that much more unpredictable. Inside of the Blackened Library, people can roam around, though they are at Berakhir’s mercy, for inside of his world, his rules apply.
Many have simply ceased to exist shortly after entering his inner world, for they bored him or spoke down to him, something he does not condone. 99.9% of all people are boring to him because they have nothing to offer, though the select few that are actually interesting receive a different kind of treatment. These people will see a side of him that is not shown much, and usually only comes around every couple of hundred years. Helping these individuals with the things they wanted, he might actually break away from his busy schedule to simply follow people around until they start to bore him, at which point he will simply leave on a whim without as much as a simple goodbye.
» Likes: To Berakhir, there is nothing more satisfying then finding a new source of knowledge to tap into. Whether this is another ancient creature such as himself, a hidden archive or books he did not yet own. Constantly spending time passing through the different dimensions in order to gather knowledge, he makes an occasional stop to watch over a battle, seeing how it would unfold and then have it written down in his Library world.
» Dislikes: Berakhir has a deep and burning hatred towards most religion, liking the large amount of stories and books they wrote, but hating the fact that they were responsible for many book burnings that have caused some pieces of knowledge to almost become lost to him. What would normally have been easy for him to obtain had become hard because of those individuals, and as such have inspired his hatred towards most modern religions.

“The Blackened Library”
The Blackened Library is a dark, ghastly world that seems to have no beginning and no end. It is a world that is constantly changing, just like the various dimensions never stay the same. Where there is knowledge being made, a new child is born or a battle is fought, the library will churn and shake as new bookshelves are created out of a dark, chitinous substance that makes up the entire library, making it seem as if it is one whole. The visible part of the library exists out of many bookcases that are stacked on top of each other, reaching up higher then the eye can see. Tending to the library are the countless seekers, creatures created out of Berakhir’s subconscious, knowing every single book and shelve like the back of their hand. Whenever Berakhir ventures in his library in search of a book, it will not take more then a couple of seconds for one of the Seekers to make it’s way to him with the book he was looking for.
In the center of the Library is an open terrain that is filled with a green liquid, housing hundreds or even thousands of different sized tentacles. Each of these tentacles are constantly writing in hard cover books with old pages, writing with the green liquid in which the tentacles stand. Shortly after writing in the book, the green liquid turns black, showing that the ink has dried and the page can be turned over to the next. When a book, tome or grimoire is completed, one of the many seekers will come forth to take the book from the mass of limbs to find a suitable place for it in the library. The mass of tentacles has, like the seekers, been made out of Berakhir’s subconscious, constantly writing down every little bit of knowledge, even writing entire books that follow someone’s life, from the day they were born up to the present.
Now that the main library and the center has been described, there is one last area that is perhaps the most wicked of the three. Known as the inner sanctum, it is a place that can be entered by passing by the mass of gargantuan tentacles, moving down a stone staircase at the core of the mass. Going down several tens of meters, a small, circular office can be found. Unlike the rest of the library, the circular office seems to be made out of a marble-like stone. The office walls are, like the entire library world, made out of bookcases and filled with black books, though that is to be expected of Berakhir. This place serves as his private quarters, and contains all the tomes and grimoires that he wishes to keep even more contained then those in the library itself. At a large desk, Berakhir writes down his own volumes, creating his own spells and incantations, keeping them hidden safely away from the public and from those that would seek to abuse his seemingly endless amounts of knowledge.
The Blackened Library is by far the most complete of all libraries one will find in any of the worlds, for it contains books written by Berakhir himself, copies of books and scrolls that have been lost in time, even knowledge people would try to hide from the outside world. Wherever knowledge is created, it becomes known to him, though few have been able to hide their dealings from him. As such, he is unaware of how a thing such as the Hougyoku has been made, and can not provide help to anyone who would seek to create one of their own. Despite being a conceptual world that is generally only accessible to Berakhir himself, he can choose to take someone into his world, though this person has to do so willingly, for once inside, they are at Berakhir’s mercy.
